i feel like the platonic relationships is not talk about enough in hell’s paradise which is so done WELL cuz those relationships are integral to the plot, themes, and even the worldbuilding. I always described it to my friend as taking the “power of friendship!11!” to a different level. Like our main duo here learned from each other how there’s strength in weakness and weakness in strength which is such a beautiful thing!!! As well as the other characters, without them bridging their differences, they prolly never made it out of that island. Really, platonic love is huge in that series and i genuinely love that aspect :’))
