The saddest part about this is that it took me so long to give the series a proper look/chance
And if I became a trekkie what then
#Imagine if I had grown up with it instead of experiencing it only in adulthood 😔#I already mentioned how I watched this and Star Wars because of how big their legacies are#And how I only watched sw first bc it was the more easily available one#But when I started watching it my mom mentioned how she’s never been a fan and liked the one w Mr. Spock instead#She said dad felt the same way so I asked him that night and he confirmed but also mentioned they watched lost in space before Star Trek#If anything I’m surprised a Latin dub existed whenever they watched it (probably the 70s maybe 80s)#But also dbz is popular in Latin America so should I really have been surprised#Anyways I’m watching in chronological order so no Spock in enterprise unfortunately#But (and this has nothing to do w the show itself but) idk why it’s so satisfying hearing the way my mom pronounces#mis⬈ter⬊ SpockK#i talk to them in both English and Spanish (+my dads work requires English) so they don’t do the accented ‘es’ for ‘s’#but it does feel like there’s a slight pause and (very quiet) almost inhale before the S + a very clearly pronounced K#Idk I just like how it sounds lol
