He had them for a few weeks

Benny was in Purgatory when that happened

Therefore, Cas had Benny inside him for weeks

The fact that Dean never made a joke about this is insane actually. And also Benny should totally Cas's deepest darkest secret (his gay crush on Dean) before ever meeting him. Just because he was LITERALLY INSIDE CAS FOR WEEKS and the Leviathans knew everything too.

So frustrating that the only way spn knows how to do groups of villains is to have them with one Big Guy at the top with a bunch of underlings. Leviathan should have been a funky little hivemind! Anarchy in the US! It would have been refreshing and it would throw da boys for a loop.

The only thing they know is eat hot chip and lie make a deal and/or turn the ranks against each other. Wouldn't it be tastey for them to have to confront the fact that the other guys are doing teamwork better than them. 'We're family' but they're family better.

How i see not everyone likes the Leviathan arc but I think it's one of the most interesting arc in spn

at the beginning of creation I gave this concept a head like a furry crocodile but it was pure fanservice so I changed it to this

So, I’m on my 2nd rewatch and I’ve always been a bit hazy on this.

When Castiel walks into the lake with all of the Leviathans in him, is it because he took control as long as possible and tried to sacrifice himself OR was it the Leviathans controlling him so they could get into the water system?

When in s7 Dean goes "Nobody cares that you're broken, Cas. Clean up your mess!" (7x23) and it pisses off people…

…please, if you want to ignore the Leviathans are on Earth because of Cas, at least blame Bobby and Sam (and Eliot Ness) too for this. They are the ones who taught Dean that.

Sam, 4x14: You're too busy sitting around feeling sorry for yourself. Whining about all the souls you tortured in hell. Boo hoo.

Bobby, 7x09: Oh, you poor, sorry… You're not a person. (…) You're a hunter, meaning you're whatever the job you're doing today.

Here’s the thing that gets me and I will continue to shout out from the rooftops.

The Leviathans were ruthless and strong. Unlike Dean, Castiel didn’t have a battle buddy. He didn’t have his own Benny. The Leviathans HATED Castiel. They had a price on his head. But he, alone, managed to not only fight them off and get away, he held onto the blossom.

It just irks me to no end that the show weakened Castiel on screen but made him a badass again when we, the viewers, couldn’t witness it.

Fuckers.

so you’re telling me, the dude in this intro, didn’t notice being hung upside down?

I know, I’m probably dumb that it took me so long to realise, but then the black ink in the intro is the blood of Leviathans

I don’t know why , but whenever I see Dean eat I feel super hungry. He just eats so well, you know what I mean? Also, that sandwich does look super yummy. okay, maybe I’m just hungry.

why does Dean sound like he’s high? Was it the sandwich ? The sandwich that looked really good?

Did Sam just say that a lot of people got it worse? Worse than going to hell with Lucifer and tortured there with him in said hell. And then coming back and getting your memories wiped and then restored, and then Lucifer haunting you in those said memories?

Why is everyone so scared of Dick? Is he such a big baddie?

I kind of don't like how a lot of people forget that despite all the angst and the drama around Dean and Cas they are fundamentaly best friends.

How many times did Dean say it throught the entire show? Bobby in season 6 saying "Well, you just lost the best friend you ever had."

For Bobby to say that, knowing Dean better than even Sam in some regards, how many times had Dean been sitting with Castiel on the couch in his living room?

Cas doesn't sleep, and rarely does Dean, with the Apocalypse looming right behind him.

So all they had left, in those quiet nights were each other. And they were okay with it, because they liked each other's company.

Can someone clear something up for me? I’m watching S6x22 “the man who knew too much”. Cas has absorbed all the souls from purgatory, but he’s acting strange and very unCas like.

Were the Leviathans already controlling him?

I was thinking about the Supernatural timeline about Chuck, Amara and Old Beings, and it looks like this:

Chuck: [creates Leviathans]

Amara: You really shouldn't.

Chuck, while the Leviathans are destroying everything in the background: You're sooo mean :( You never allow me to have fun.

Chuck: [has to create a dimension to lock the Leviathans away]

Amara: How many times are you going to do that? -_-
