I love how the Winchesters are not at all shocked by team free will coming back to life anymore, but freak the fuck out if anyone else does.

I mean, Cas came back from perma dead and they were like oh wow cool. But for the five minutes they think Ketch could be back from the dead, they are like “THATS NOT POSSIBLE!?!? HE WAS SHOT IN THE HEAD!!”

Truly why didn’t they milk this out instead immediately shunting Cas off again i need to fucking drop kick these stupid fucking writers

Cas getting captured in War of the Worlds and then remaining off screen barely acknowledged for four episodes is a baffling writing decision even for spn, like you’re going to have as a key thread through the back ~third of your previous season Dean getting hung up on Cas’s absence, then have him intensely mourn his death for five episodes, and Then... “oh, he’s not here, but we’ve not really noticed” like ???? You have Dean being like “ah Sam I know you’re upset about Mom and Jack being missing, but you helped me when I was in a dark place”, yes, you were in a dark place because Cas was dead but now you’ve not seen him for multiple episodes and you’re entirely fine so??
