I find it funny that Wild, who has basically a couple years ish of full life experience, comes up with the most insane theories for everything

He assumed that the only other explanation to Four being able to split in Four was. That he was quadruplets who'd been hiding this whole time???

Also apparently he believed that his wolf companion Twilight in botw was a diety (and felt very uhh shocked upon finding out that he was not)

Malon made things worse, telling him about her aliens theory

What's even FUNNIER is that every time Wild expresses any sort of confusion at magic stuff that he's never seen before, everyone else in the chain acts like it's crazy for him to be weirded out by it

Honestly maybe Wild's the only one with his head on straight, rather than everyone else who are just like 'it's magic bro' like no he's right this is weird

I appreciate this because it's very considerate of the fact that he woke up with no memories not too long ago, so he doesn't have much experience to explain the stuff that's 'normal' for the chain. Plus the explanations he comes up with are funny.

Fanfiction Writer Apperation Post!

Ayo all Merp here! I hope everyone is having a great time whatever time zone you got. I'm a simply derpy ass artist that likes to draw stuff that the Internet has shown me! That includes lovely fanfiction stories I tend to read a lot about. Which is why this post is here to bring a HUGE appreciation for someone in the SMG4 community more from the SMG34 squad! My great friend and a badass from many projects featuring their own series such as "Next Step With You!", @shygirl4991 !

We all have known them from many spots that they are part of like the one they are doing with @lizaluvsthis in "Brewing Romance", "The Chains of a Fragile Soul" with @b-r-i-n-g-x , and "Spilt Into Three's/Six Splits For Four" with the artwork done by @alianarepasa !

They have also done some cool group collab with lots of people, bringing out the artworks each group puts out such as "Coffee Prince and The Frog" (collab with Liz and Aly), and "Shadow Vision" (Bringx, Liz and Aly)!

They never fail to be inspired by many other people that sometimes have ideas for our favorite gays but either don't have the time to do them or they want to do it but don't know how to put into words! Some of these beautiful ideas that came to life thanks to Shay's amazing writing skills are "Just A Dream", "Trade For You" ideas inspired by @therabbitdemon , and "Death Of SMG3" requested by @anartisticalniche !

I had the honor of making the cover art for their cute fluffy "Doll Confessions" fic they made a while back collabing with Bringx's adorable GMod photos she did! Even though what got me into their stories was through "Brewing Romance", there's another story that got me into them and had me always checking fanfiction sites to see if they made anything new and that's one of their many solo projects "Azure Potion!"

It's always fun making art covers for them or draw out characters they've created over time with the plethora of stories done by our lovely writer! I highly recommend checking out their other solo stories such as "Forklift Date", "Mistletoe Wars", "True Colors", "Trapped In a Bleakly Winter", and "A Shot of SMG34"!

There's definitely more stories they've written for these lovey gays but it's gonna take me a while to put them on here lol. Nonetheless while we artist have a blast in creating art for all your favorite fanfictions, please don't forget to show some love to the brains behind the whole thing! Without them, we wouldn't be able to enjoy making all the amazing art to show our love and appreciation for ALL of their hard work! As one that does both art and writing (even though I don't really post many stories on here because my writing style is still a work in progress), I'd love to be recognized by both my art AND the writing I do! Remember to see who's the original writer first before commenting anything!

I was surprised to hear that Ice Plague is a lesser read story from you! It’s one of my favorites and something I re-read often. I treasure that little family. I’ve never loved these particular characters more, they’re all my favorite versions of them. It’s such a beautiful and brilliantly plotted book!

Tbh I think there were a few things working against it:

It came at the end of an already long series and there's more drop off the longer a series goes for, because it can only keep the people reading it, and doesn't attract new readers (though it attracted a few who didn't like Gwyn/Augus!)

A lot of people just didn't want to leave Gwyn/Augus behind and/or didn't like Mosk/Eran (I learned my lesson there)

It was actually written a lot more like a book series because I was writing them with a view to publishing down the track, which means of the whole Fae Tales Verse series, The Ice Plague is the one most ready to go directly to paperback/hardback etc. But I actually think that style of like epic fantasy storytelling is a bit less compatible with AO3 serials.

I wrote less cliffhangers. I now write a lot more cliffhangers (for all people hate them, they just do create more connection to a story as long as they're breaks and it's not constant).

I still love The Ice Plague. At the time I got really disheartened with it, and then I reread it and I was like 'wait this is fucking good though???' - I also think this and the final epilogue give Gwyn and Augus the happiest ending they could ever hope for.

In terms of writing quality, it's the story I'd publish first in the Fae Tales Verse even if it's out of order. It was the thing that was like 'shit, I can do this, and I can do this pretty well actually.' But I didn't know that at the time, because I was watching like... every metric of engagement dwindling over the years.

I'm afraid of this happening again with Underline the Red and Underline the Silver, but...I'll just have to suck it up and figure it out if it does happen! And in the meantime, I don't regret writing those stories, I'm just sad that it all fell out the way that it did. There are some of us who really love TIP, and I toast to like all of you, because whether you found it during the series or after the series, it's kept me going! <333

YEAH THERE WE GO. 

In a move that’s practically meta Fai teases that Kurogane isn’t even calling out the names of his techniques, and he replies that it’s too much of a bother. 

We are here at the climax of it all, after watching Kurogane and Syaoran call out their special techniques the entire time, and now in the final fight Kurogane says he can’t be bothered. 

WITH THE GRUMPIEST FROWN I’VE EVER SEEN ON HIM

Which again shows how much they’re not really engaged in this fight in the way that you would normally expect, and are teasing each other instead. 

It is the kind of joviality that in a different CLAMP series might be signalling their imminent tragic demise, but I’ve seen them on the cover of Tsubasa World Chronicle! If anyone is going to survive this it’s THEM. 

So they’re having a fun little battle date where they can wreck the shit out of a bunch of enemies and call Evil Wolverine names at the same time. Which is their ideal date, really. 

Also it IS satisfying to see Kurogane take pretty much all of them out with a single technique that he didn't even put his full seriousness into.

And all Evil Wolverine can do is be like, yes that's... fine...

Ooh chain swords chain swords! Even better! Let’s make it interesting now that Fai has joined the fight too. 

He hasn’t even started trying yet either. 

Oh, and this calls back his weapon in the Infinity arc as well. It all lines up. 

OH YUP HERE WE GO. FAI BRINGING OUT THE VAMPIRE NAILS.

Bringing out the Acid Tokyo call backs and, as a result, showing us the FULL Fai. The version of Fai that has SURVIVED all of the things he's gone through and who he's become as a result. Fai using even the parts of himself he didn't ask for to his full capacity, as his vampirism is yet another sign of love - That someone loved him enough to REFUSE to let him die, and the power that act of love has given him as a result.

They’ve noticed something that I can’t properly make out just yet. (Are the bodies disappearing? Are they melting? Do more of the same person exist at once?)

Either way it proves to Kurogane that they're Real Physical People and not illusions or constructs.

Oh! Is it the blood, maybe? Is it the blood that proved that they're real actual humans and that's what surprised Fai? And so that's enough for them to realise that Evil Wolverine is shoving Real Living people at them and not using magic of any other kind. Or that's about as far as I can take it without any further hints at least.

Still, we get an epic standoff with the battle husbands in perfect back-to-back poses as they face down the infinite glitch Evil Wolverine army. 

It’s very visually pleasing even if I don’t buy for a second that they’d actually die here.

i mean im not doing a lot of collabs so its pretty easy to keep track Brewing Romance- @lizaluvsthis Coffee Prince and the Frog- @alianarepasa and Lizaluvsthis Six Splits for four- Alianarepasa The chains of the fragile soul- @b-r-i-n-g-x im only working on four fics with others at the moment unless you mean why do i have so many cover arts done by Alianarepasa and Lizaluvsthis then i can answer that easy! They are my close friends my family so when i work on fics and they are free i ask them kindly if they would do me the solid of doing the cover art for me.
