before anyone asks: this isn't an official pr blog, nor is it a weird fan impersonating us online. we're really just here to vibe and connect with others ^^

I'm singularity (they/them)

that's not my real name. but we took inspiration from human idol groups in ancient history. and gave ourselves individual stage names. as well as a collective name for the whole band

I'm also the band's oldest member. which might come as a surprise. especially with how small I am compared to the other two

I'm antares (she/her)! fun fact: I'm a giant pacific octoling. shopping for clothes and weapons sucks when you're super tall like I am 😔✌🏽

and I'm nebula (she/her)!! I'm the youngest member of supernova and I'm really excited to meet people on here!!

this isn't an official pr blog or anything lmao, I don't think we've made it big enough for that (yet)

anyways, hi! I'm veran (they/them, young adult, picture on the left)

and I'm veralia (they/them, also a young adult, picture on the right)

and together, we're ULTRASPLAT (officially stylized in all caps, but we don't really care how you guys capitalize it)!

we're an indie idol duo making music in a variety of genres, including (but not limited to) rock, metal, pop, synthwave, and edm.

some trivia about these two!

they're (technically) twins! they're pretty much identical except for color and a tiny height difference (veran is 4'10" and veralia is 4'11").

they're robotic inkfish who were manufactured by some company or another for the purpose of combat.

physically, they're primarily modeled after vampire inklings.

hey everyone, I'm sylvette falls (she/her)

I'm mainly here to help establish some level of peace between inkfish and salmonids on this website, and hopefully in the real world, too.

I've learned a lot about grizzco and salmonids during my time as a salmon runner, and I have a lot of opinions on it.

I'm also a pretty big fan of @ultrasplat and @idol-group-supernova

chronological age: about 8 as of this post physical age: could be anywhere between 21 and 27

sylvette is a hybrid of various inkfish subspecies, artificially engineered with the intention of creating the perfect salmon runner.

she's relatively small compared to colossal and giant inklings, but much taller than common octolings, and has a mix of inkling and octoling tentacles.

she lacks the connected "eyeliner" that inklings usually have, and her fingertips are sharp, like octolings'.

as a living anti-salmonid weapon, everything about her is designed to be a threat - especially her stature, abnormal physical strength, and the combat instincts that she was conditioned to have.

now, you're probably thinking at this point that she's op, which... is kinda true, admittedly 😅

but good thing I gave her plenty of trauma and a severe lack of desire to actually fight salmonids to counterbalance that 💖

unfortunately, working at grizzco is not really a good way to make enough money to become one 💔

this is a world where they have humanoid forms that they can switch in and out of, after all

an inkling/octoling hybrid is hardly unrealistic at all when you consider the entire premise of splatoon lol

Thank cod I stopped to check in on the way to the hospital. No wonder he was panicking when you showed up. I wasn't too fond of you before, Cubby, but I left you alone because getting into an argument was useless.

Not anymore. Kidnapping someone who should be in the hospital is downright dangerous. From what I've been able to gather, you were part of the reason he got sick and then pushed him to keep putting himself in that environment. I don't trust the idea that you're "curing" him. If he trusted you with that, he wouldn't be tied up with tape over his mouth.

I'm usually a pacifist, but this is too far. You understand? I was content watching from the sidelines and giving Moray a shoulder to lean on, but not anymore. I'm not sitting to the side this time. If Moray's going to be cured, it'll be without you, Cubby.

I hope I’ve done the right thing.

Most workers seem apathetic or tired. Just trying to get a paycheck. I feel for them

Others are new and excited. I don’t think they fully understand everything yet. Their enthusiasm is as bright as the orange on their suits. It’s sad to see their panic as they are overwhelmed, or when they question.

Then. The ones that are the worst. Those high ranking ones who seem fully aware of what they are doing and seem proud of it. Nicer suits. More of us are sent in. I have to just hope whoever I follow isn’t about to lead me by the egg basket. Haven’t had too close of a call yet. That’s who I have no empathy for.

I missed my job in a way. I missed the machines and even the adrenaline.

I didn’t miss seeing this. I didnt miss hearing the splats of the workers. Didnt miss seeing fear in an inkling who was the last worker in and she was out of ink, her panicked eyes reflecting the red light of the steel eel’s eyes as it came through the fog.

I got distracted. I haven’t throught about that incident in awhile.

What else is there to do? Is there anything else?

so I decided to take @noveloctoling 's advice and just never showed up to that meeting

so now there are grizzco employees literally right outside my cod damn apartment. I love it here /s

what do you think of folks who are only working for grizzco bc it's their first ever job and they don't have the experience or skills to do much of anything else for a living?

asking for a friend (it's me, I'm the friend 😭💀 it sucks here and I barely get paid a liveable amount)

Find another job. Clearly once you see the conditions working at Grizzco, as well as how fucking terrible it is for the environment, it's best you quit.

I do hear that employers are actually quite fond of ex-Grizzco employees, so I suggest starting there

The salmonids joined together, preparing stuff as usual. Preparing for a dispatch.

Mutters went around as they all gathered materials. Some were just planning on doing their standard runs, but many were eyeing the Mothership.

Tammie knew the idea was crazy, but it would get eggs back and potentially save a few of their friends. Besides, getting to the roof of a building is no easy task for a salmonid.

They tried to ask some snatchers, but not enough could get on board with flying all the way to splatsville. That was when they realized a better solution.

It was no easy task to fly a mothership due to its maneuvers, but Tammie knew they had a knack for machinery.

The eggs would be taken back. That was final.

The relatively small apartment complex that Gabriel lives in is in a somewhat less densely populated area, a bit closer to the city outskirts than it is to the center.

It's nothing fancy; definitely something you'd expect a 20-year-old minimum wage employee to be able to afford.

At the moment, a group of four inkfish are gathered on the doorstep of Gabriel's apartment in particular, making conversation amongst themselves while they wait for further instructions from the management.
