Really wanted to like the splattercolour screen. As the concept seemed fun

However the shrill noise and screen brightening to make it greysscale is not great. For multiple reasons.

I have sensitive hearing so the sudden noise change is unpleasant and makes my ears ring pretty bad. And that's one of the more minor things.

For people with photosensitivity it has to suck worse. With the very sudden change in saturation and everything

CHILL SEASON 23 (SPLATOON 3)

we have eight new weapons. not fun new low. however, splattercolor screen looks really cool. i'll definitely pick up a weapon with it for a bit, examine the special. i wonder what the competitive community will call it. i think screen will be the most likely. also we have two new stages, robo ROMen and bluefin depot (the latter from s1. w moment). let's talk about those next. romen looks cute aesthetic wise, i think the community will like this stage. there are two routes on the sides that will help with turning a battle around, and there is an abundance of inkable walls which is great! bluefin doesn't change too much, but now a route to the snipe position is closed off, and elevators! finally big run. queen salmonid my beloved. also barnacle and dime no. please i need to shop

season two now is starting on 11/26. we're getting shit early. bet what's going on this time

Mincemeat Metalworks is getting renovated next week!

It's that time again, folks, the official Splatoon twitter posted this image and confirmed that Mincemeat is closing next week for renovations. That doesn't just mean that the stage is seeing changes, but that we're getting the mid-season patch, too!

These changes are looking pretty extensive, too. The spawn regions are being made bigger, with a possible side extension all the to the trucks. The side areas are being massively expanding, as well, and I think they might be adding a couple of ramps, as well. All in all Mincemeat is going to have a lot more space to move on, and that is a big win to be sure.
