This site is community run, has a strict set of guidelines, and doesnt take any sponsorships or use any affiliate links
They currently suggest 3 which follow under their guideline: Proton VPN, IVPN, and Mullvad.
Check the site once in a while as things may be added or removed based on changing guidelines or buisness decisions. (Mullvad being probably the best, but Proton has an Actually Good Free VPN)
reminder you mostly don't need a VPN. If you are trying to get around content blocking based on your IP's region, that's a genuine use case (a lot can be easily bypassed though).
but other than "you connected to website.com," if you're on https every subpage you visited and everything you did or submitted or anything ON website.com is already encrypted and a vpn provides barely any extra actual privacy.

here's the story. i know expressvpn has been recommended in some 🏴☠️ how-to posts but it is not trustworthy. the parent company, kape technologies, not only used to distribute malate but has ties to multiple state surveillance agencies. and be careful where you look for info about good vpns, because kape technologies owns a bunch of "vpn review" sites too

remember. when faced with the rise of fascism it is always the most important thing to start vitriolic and divisive online discourse about who is more oppressed

sans undertale is named after Comic Sans, where sans refers to "sans serif" or "without serifs"
It's a french word, and to piss people off you can pronounce it french as well. it's /sɑ̃/ (kinda like Sean but just actually an s instead of a sh. and nasally. dont pronunce the n explicitly- nobody cares)

not to mention literally the burgers my mom makes me eat all the time are these fuckin #healthy veggie burgers which fucking crumble apart if you look at it wrong and feel like biting into mush because god forbid i eat an actual burger (i am actually vegetarian, so this would be like an impossible/beyond burger here i do like those) because i might become slightly less underweight because anything like that will "get me fat" and she will constantly and consistently list every single way why being fat is actually a huge risk in every single way possible and this isnt the half of it
YES i didnt mention any of this in the tags and maybe i should have or whatever but you would have cut it out anyway
For every post discussing fatphobia on here there are 10 skinny people in the notes who have supposedly been encountered by the nefarious "burger man" who tells people to eat more burgers

include the rest of my fucking tags!
yes im sorry that im saying exactly what the post was saying, but that wasn't the fucking point
I think the burger thing is funny. i dont think it's genuine "skinnyphobia", my mother doesnt do it because im skinny it's because it's just something she makes often, and i spent more time in my tags talking about my mother's fatphobia, which as i mentioned in that parenthetical, THERE IS A LOT MORE.
I made these tags because, even dealing with the exact scenario the OP said, HER FATPHOBIA IS STILL WORSE TO THE POINT IT DRILLED AN EATING DISORDER INTO MY HEAD (which i also mentioned i am better at now and i dont care if i get fat anymore!) which was in the tags you conveniently cut out!

#i am skinny like probably in an unhealthy way#and somehow i STILL experience fatphobia a lot#anyway that being said#my mom#she's always trying to concince me to eat burgers#shes also the source of basically all of the fatphobia i deal with and probably the reason im unhealthily skinny#every time i have something even SLIGHTLY unhealthy she says 'do you want to get fat?' (and a lot more stupid fatphobic shit)#ive started responding with 'yeah'#whats her deal#sorry to derail

Since Homestuck is trending again because of the Spindlehorse Pilot, I did just want to take a moment to remember “Usagi” Buzinkai, a really talented composer who wrote one of the most iconic and reoccurring melodies in Homestuck, Doctor.
Usagi was a brilliant musician and composer who tragically passed away in 2018. She was early in her transition at the time of her passing, and I was unable to find any confirmation of the name she preferred. I will be referring to her using her online moniker “Usagi” since we don’t know how she felt about the name she was given at birth, or if she wanted to change it.
She wrote many of the most beloved songs for Homestuck, as well as the soundtrack for the game Spelunkey.
Usagi was a part of the LGBTQ community, and talked about her experiences regarding her trans and ace identities openly and with joy.
Her Bandcamp and last album, Qualia, can be found here
Usagi’s music deeply impacted many people. Homestuck as a whole would not be the same without the iconic songs that she wrote for it. Her music influenced Toby Fox, who remixed Buzinkai’s song “Doctor” and sites the song as a major turning point in his growth as a musician.
I didn’t even know that she was the composer or that she had passed until a few years ago.
I was really upset to learn that someone who contributed so much to something I loved had passed and, in my opinion, never really received the wide-spread recognition she deserved for her art. My goal in making this post is to try and educate people who were unaware of her artistic contributions to Homestuck. I hope to honor her memory, as well as the beauty and music she brought to the world.
I’ll leave you with a really lovely quote from her regarding accepting and discovering one’s identity:
“…There's nothing like that first time stepping out as yourself, talking about who you are meant to be without fear. The world might come knocking, but when it does, knock back louder and say it loudly and proudly;
"This is my life. This is who I am right now. I won't wear a mask for you."”
