Seriously - thank you! I wasn't expecting to receive much support on this blog, especially as a guy who draws landscapes and dogs, not cats haha. I was happily proven wrong, as this community is wonderful and supportive. (And I'm so sorry I take forever to reply or notice things I am Not good at running personal accounts 😅)

I'd like to take this moment to outline a few things about the pacing/future of this blog. Right now, I'd like to try and update at least once a month. I will try to supplement with little doodles like this one if folks ask questions and whatnot, but this will always be a fairly slow paced blog. My schedule is busy, you've been warned now!

As seen by the intro this blog doesn't quite follow the normal clangen format but I'll bringing in more elements of that once we get past the prologue.

I think that's everything for now, but thank you again!

   the frown deepens, if that's possible, though more in genuine thought than anything else. to have garry be so willing to consider how to live through this encounter, even in jest, feels a bit troublesome. she curls a finger against her chin, her pen tapping against her cheek in the process.

   ' i mean, i'd prefer if you didn't ... ' drown her, that is. a bit of an understatement. ' it feels unfair to have me justify my own survival. if you're going to kill me, i'd ask you don't toy with me beforehand. ' she's had her fair share of that, and it feels absurd enough of an answer to get some amount of advantage if she's going to get drowned anytime soon. she doesn't actually think that's going to happen— maybe she should stop talking about this.

   she hurries on, then, a bit eager to change topics. ' i've been stuck in different worlds before. i'd rather adapt than be stubborn about it. or to start hungering, for that matter. '

Kafka notices that she's unnerved her immediately. Stiff as a board and speechless were common reactions to things that she says, so it's not surprising. "Depends, is there any reason that I should drown you?" She's only poking fun, or is she? No, but really, she is. However, her indifferent way of speaking probably isn't convincing the woman that she isn't going to do it. Regardless, the conversation carries on though she's sure the strange question will linger in the woman's mind.

"Not usually. I usually just come here to watch the waves…clear my mind, it all becomes so much easier to understand away from the city lights." But enough about that, "Seems like you're thinking far ahead. There's no real point in getting a job, if you settle in then that's pretty much saying that you accept all of this for what it is."

HI SALSA OOMFIE here's a bunch of drops on the main three + magpie !!

Bearbark was orphaned as a very young kit and was taken into care by his mother's sister, who was very sick and in turn, did not give the proper care to our tiny little bearkit. Once he was old enough to reach apprenticeship, he was given to Riverpounce as his mentor until warriorship. Though the youngest of the bunch, he was Riverpounce's first apprentice.

Lavenderclaw comes from a place very far from the Territories, which he calls the City. His twolegs traveled to the territories to settle in one of its twoleg places, but eventually moved away due to a money shortage, leaving Lavenderclaw behind in the process. He was already apprentice aged by the time he stumbled into Havenclan, and, though unorthodox at the time, was also given to Riverpounce.

Spiritwhisper comes from a different part of the forest, usually very dark and cold because of the tall trees covering the sun most of the day. It's very difficult to find prey there, and not many cats live in it due to its dangers and many predators. Spiritwhisper had the misfortune of slipping down a large mount of rocks, breaking his neck during the fall, though Starclan had given him another chance. He left the Den he and his family lived in soon after, and stumbled upon Havenclan almost immediately. He was given to Riverpounce as well. He's also cursed with Divine Visions now. Starclan just won't let him die.

Magpie is kept a lot further away from the clans and is very usually strictly prohibited to wander off from his and Snake's den, protecting her from any outside threats and often telling her about the dangers of Clan life, not budging on his decision even when Magpie reached apprentice age. Due to his father's distaste for the Clans and their beliefs ( he does believe in starclan, just not the fact that theyre good / benevolent. ), Magpie isn't informed on Starclan or the Dark Forest — this has caused her to visit The Dark Forest on occasions where Snake was off to perform his duties, and he soon became a target of Swiftwing ( again, think Mapleshade and Crookedstar . ), who his mother had previously been victim to in a similar way.

Thank @lynntr for most of this they helped me a LOT ... we've got more ideas for other pd cats but these r the main guys :3 if you wanted a specific guy and I didn't talk about them let me know...

A friend, huh? Well, in their line of business, friends come few and far between. Toji had little way of having actual friends back home, having kept people at arm's length. Moreso after his first wife's death. Everyone was either a target or the middleman. He stopped caring about a lot of things after that point.

Toji hummed. "Just so you know, I don't come cheap." An understatement if there ever was one. His spending habits are quite frankly, atrocious. The man racks up debt faster than the bodies he had piled up his entire life.

But the woman had an absolutely inescapable allure to her. Turning her down here would simply be foolish and a waste of opportunity. In the end(and giving in to his baser instincts), Toji shrugged. "I don't know about friends but if you're in need of like-minded people then you don't need to look any further."

The man stood to full height, his physique dwarfing the woman before him. He offers an equally large open hand to her, the very same one he used to snap the poor guy's neck, before introducing himself. "Fushiguro Toji."

"Not at all," Kafka responds. Not that it mattered much to her anyway, it wasn't her business to say whether it was right or wrong, nor did she particularly care either way. "You could say that, though I'm not as established here as I'd like to be." She shrugs, this wasn't really her scene and without Elio or her fellow stellaron hunters, she was just drifting along as she was now. But she wouldn't turn down getting to know anyone who could prove useful to her in some way.

And from where she was standing, it seemed in her best interests to get to know him, which is why she continued to entertain the conversation. "Oh, just a friend, really. I'm finding myself in need of like-minded people."
