When to Stay, When to Move (Numbers 9:15-23)
Our entire earthly life is one big sojourn from birth to death. How we go about this pilgrimage is of upmost importance.
Pillar of Fire, Pillar of Cloud in the Desert, stained glass at the Congregation Beth Emeth, Herndon, Virginia On the day the Tent of the Lord’s presence was set up, a cloud came and covered it. At night the cloud looked like fire. Whenever the cloud lifted, the people of Israel broke camp, and they set up camp again in the place where the cloud came down. The people broke camp at the command of…

Sibling Shuffle: The LaLinde Family!
Tumblr media
Here’s the LaLinde family! I looked at the concept art a lot with these guys lol
(I have no one to look over all my stuff IRL & I accept constructive criticism) (my ref. for Tempo’s armor had some weird shadows & I don’t think it looks right but at this point it’s fine)
This honestly took less time than I expected. Really surprised at how well I managed to copy Dr. LaLinde’s pose from her first appearance… anyway
Since there wasn’t much we were shown of Vesper Woman, I had to fill in a couple of gaps (and by that I mean a lot of them). We know she is supposed to annoy Tempo into experiencing emotions, and we know her job… but not much else. She didn’t even have a civilian name / design, and I don’t know if she was supposed to get one later on… so yeah this is what I’ve got for her! I’m really happy with her hair. I think it looks fun :)
As with Piano before her, Dr. LaLinde’s purple hair stood out too much from the rest of the cast. I felt a little guilty because it’s a pretty unique character feature & I already made Piano’s hair change, so she gets to keep a streak of purple.
Tempo gets a dress the same length as her original pencil skirt, but it more closely resembles the concept art for her civilian design. I don’t really have a reason other than I like her concept art outfit & because I can
WARNING: this is a VERY long post. I ramble a LOT.
Lore under the cut!
Around the time that Blues attempted to run away, Dr. LaLinde began work on her own robot child, Tempo. Tempo was created as a “child” more than a “tool” (much like the Light kids). Tempo was, like many kids, cheerful and full of energy.
Assuming the ARTS Convention is a yearly event, I’m going to say Tempo met Blues at one of those. Blues isn’t very comfortable in a crowded area, so he was already a bit thrown off when Tempo ran up to him all excited to meet another robot like her. It took a little bit for him to adjust to her enthusiasm, but they were pretty fast friends :)
Unfortunately, then Tempo was caught in a cave-in later that year, which basically destroyed her. Dr. LaLinde rebuilt her, but when it came time to restore her IC chip, she hesitated. She had lost her daughter once; was she willing to risk going through that again? And she had built Tempo with human-level emotions, who’s to say she wouldn’t end up traumatized? So, she set the IC Chip in a drawer in her desk, where Tempo’s personality and emotions sat until after the next ARTS Convention.
There are a few minor changes to how their reconciliation storyline goes from there. Tempo doesn’t forgive Dr. LaLinde immediately - she’s a little hurt that her mother let her stay dead for longer than was necessary. But she’s a very forgiving person, and makes an effort to trust and forgive Dr. LaLinde again, especially once they actually have an actual conversation about it.
Vesper Woman - who I’m giving the Civilian Name of "Rhythm" (because why would one sibling just. not have a personal name?) - was still created around MM4, (partially) to help Tempo restore her personality & emotions fully. I didn’t really change anything about her, more expanded on what there was already, which was not a lot but. she was literally introduced in the second-to-last issue so what can ya do.
She met Rock while he was trying to come to terms with the fact that he had been working for the bad guy. She tried to get him to cheer up a little, then brought him back to Geoworks HQ when he mentioned needing some help. And the other LaLinde’s recognized him (because they had been alive for longer than a week lol)

The Mystical Journey of Shamanic Dance
Tumblr media
Shamanic dance, a practice deeply rooted in ancient traditions, serves as a powerful means of connecting with the spirit world. This transformative art form encompasses rhythmic movements, chants, and rituals that transcend the ordinary and invite participants to explore the depths of their consciousness. This blog post delves into the origins, significance, and transformative power of shamanic dance, offering insights into how it can enrich our modern lives.
The Origins of Shamanic Dance
Shamanic dance traces its roots to prehistoric times, long before written history. It was practiced by indigenous cultures around the world, from the Siberian steppes to the Amazon rainforest. Shamans, the spiritual leaders of these communities, used dance as a medium to communicate with the spirit world, heal the sick, and guide their tribes. Each movement, rhythm, and chant was imbued with symbolic meaning, creating a language that transcended words.
The Role of the Shaman
The shaman, often regarded as a mediator between the physical and spiritual realms, played a crucial role in these rituals. Through dance, shamans entered altered states of consciousness, allowing them to journey to other worlds and communicate with spirits, ancestors, and deities. This connection provided guidance, wisdom, and healing for their communities. Cultural Variations
While the core principles of shamanic dance are universal, the practices vary significantly across cultures. In Siberia, shamans used elaborate costumes and drumming to induce trance states. In Africa, rhythmic drumming and body movements played a central role in connecting with ancestral spirits. In the Americas, indigenous tribes incorporated elements of nature, such as feathers and animal skins, into their dances to symbolize their connection with the Earth.
The Significance of Shamanic Dance
Shamanic dance is more than just a series of movements; it is a holistic experience that engages the body, mind, and spirit. This practice holds profound significance in several key areas:
Healing and Transformation
One of the primary purposes of shamanic dance is healing. By entering a trance state, shamans and participants can access deeper layers of their psyche, uncovering and releasing emotional, mental, and spiritual blockages. This process promotes physical and emotional well-being, leading to profound transformation.
Connection with Nature
Shamanic dance fosters a deep connection with the natural world. Many dances mimic the movements of animals, plants, and natural elements, reminding participants of their intrinsic bond with the Earth. This connection nurtures a sense of respect and reverence for nature, encouraging sustainable living practices.
Spiritual Awakening
Engaging in shamanic dance can lead to spiritual awakening and enlightenment. The rhythmic movements and trance states open channels to higher consciousness, allowing participants to gain insights, receive guidance, and experience a profound sense of unity with the universe.
The Elements of Shamanic Dance
Shamanic dance incorporates several key elements that create a transformative experience. Understanding these elements can enhance your appreciation and practice of this ancient art form.
Rhythm and Music
Rhythm is the heartbeat of shamanic dance. Drumming, chanting, and music create a vibrational field that facilitates trance states. The repetitive patterns of sound and movement help to quiet the mind, allowing participants to enter altered states of consciousness.
Movement and Gesture
Every movement in shamanic dance has symbolic meaning. Gestures, postures, and dances often mimic the natural world, embodying the essence of animals, plants, and elemental forces. These movements are not just physical; they are energetic expressions that connect the dancer with the spiritual realm.
Intention and Focus
Intention is a vital component of shamanic dance. Participants set clear intentions for their journey, whether it is healing, guidance, or spiritual connection. This focus directs the energy of the dance, amplifying its transformative power.
Sacred Space
Creating a sacred space is essential for shamanic dance. This can be done through rituals, the use of sacred objects, and invoking protective spirits. The sacred space provides a safe and supportive environment for participants to explore their inner worlds.
Modern Applications of Shamanic Dance
In today's fast-paced world, shamanic dance offers a powerful antidote to stress and disconnection. Its timeless principles can be adapted to suit modern needs, providing a path to holistic well-being.
Therapeutic Practices
Many therapists and healers incorporate elements of shamanic dance into their practice. Movement therapy, for instance, uses dance to help clients process emotions and trauma. The rhythmic, repetitive nature of shamanic dance can be particularly effective in promoting relaxation and emotional release.
Personal Growth
Individuals seeking personal growth and self-discovery can benefit from shamanic dance. Regular practice can enhance self-awareness, foster a deeper connection with nature, and promote spiritual development. Workshops and retreats offer opportunities for immersive experiences, guided by experienced practitioners.
Community Building
Shamanic dance can also serve as a powerful tool for community building. Group dances foster a sense of unity and shared purpose, strengthening social bonds and creating a supportive network. Community rituals and celebrations that incorporate shamanic dance can promote collective healing and transformation.
Conclusion
Shamanic dance, with its rich history and profound significance, offers a unique pathway to healing, transformation, and spiritual awakening. By embracing this ancient practice, we can reconnect with our true selves, our communities, and the natural world. Whether you are seeking personal growth, therapeutic healing, or a deeper spiritual connection, shamanic dance provides a timeless and powerful tool for transformation. As we dance, we journey beyond the physical, opening ourselves to the mysteries of the spirit world and the wisdom it holds.

Learning to Trust (Psalm 4)
We all find ourselves in a tight spot, between a rock and hard place, at times. It’s what we do when we are in that position that is critical.
Answer me when I cry out, my righteous God!    Set me free from my troubles!        Have mercy on me!        Listen to my prayer! How long, you people,    will my reputation be insulted? How long will you continue    to love what is worthless    and go after lies?Know this: the Lord takes    personal care of the faithful. The Lord will hear me    when I cry out to him.So be afraid, and don’t…

thinking about it i absolutely like zelda fics that lean harder into the darker aspects of zelda and have a more serious tone but if i was playing say a zelda fangame i'd be incredibly picky about its tone and dialogue. it's part of the reason i've never played a fangame i just don't think people pay a lot of attention to how zelda dialogue is constructed and just how simplistic/silly it is so they wouldn't be able to recreate it

God and the angels are giving unconditionally to you because it’s all they know how to do and they get joy doing it. If you knew you lived forever and could never die and had unlimited energy, you would probably give unconditionally too and would make it your job. It’s kind of like how the sun ☀️ gives its light unconditionally, always, it never stops. Never turns it off because we aren’t behaving or aren’t giving anything back...right?

What a great way to start October! <3
Around 2:30am I decided to dress up and walk to town's central to get some cash from ATM. Hoodie, scarf, wool skirt, shoes, reflector and my bag. Not to mention phone with headphones!
Good music (from Yuuki Ono and Suwabe Junichi <3) and out I go! First thing I noticed was black starry night sky! Absolutely beautiful! I stopped and damn right GASPED like if I would have seen starry night sky for the first time ever in my life! The feeling was amazing! Then next that cold night air, YES! Temperature is JUST slightly below -0C so YAY! Feeling that cold night air run over my skin made me shiver, feeling so alive! Grass was covered with slight frost and so were cars' windshields!
I was only one out so I was not afraid or ashamed to walk and swing with the rhythm of the musics, signing along at times <3 You know the feeling when you are the only person walking on the streets, no care in the world and you feel like you live all alone on this Earth - and it feels AMAZING!? Just YOU with the Universe!
I got to ATM, got the money and started my way back. When I came back to the area where's no street lights (takes about 15min by foot), I saw tiny shooting star! It made me happy and Suwabe's song bringing "more spring" into my steps, ahah. When I got on the yard road, still being in pitch blackness, I lifted my gaze to watch stars some more and I saw BIG shooting star! It was longest shooting star I've ever seen! So bright too!
My jaw DROPPED - and it has NEVER dropped when seeing shooting star or anything else! I lift my hand on my mouth, freezing on my spot, eyes nailed on that part of the sky where the shooting star had been. I stood there probably closer to a minute in positive shock and disbelief! I mean I have seen shooting stars before, they always have make me laugh and giggle in excitement. This was the first time ever I froze with mouth open! :'D
I managed to pull myself together and said: "Thank you. Honestly, thank you. This is definitely going to be my year."
I came inside, hallway's dim yellow Christmas lights greeting me inside lantern on the floor while Suwabe's song "Koi Kara Ai e... Soshite Mirai Ni" started to play. That song is slow and, man, didn't I strip my outdoor clothes off slowly while swinging with the music, ahah! Again something what I have never done before! But I enjoyed it! I really did! I never dance or move with the music indoors (unless I'm on my ass on the floor and just swing in all directions, ahfaj!).
And just... focusing on his voice. Not the music or anything. Just his voice. Whole new experience! It touched something in my heart and soul. I felt it but there's no words for it.
When his song ended and I dig out my phone to turn Youtube off, I had 88% of battery left and clock was 3:33(am).
Again so many signs within an hour in the first day of October <3 I couldn't be more happy and hopeful! I wasn't going to go out first, not to mention even listen music, but I am HELL HAPPY I decided otherwise!
Now I'm enjoying huge mug of hot alcohol free mulled wine and I probably listen Suwabe some more before going to bed <3 Hearing his inhales between singing words is, AH! <3 Simple little thing in life which I enjoy greatly ~

Unlocking the Mysteries of Existence - A Journey Through "The Kybalion"
Tumblr media
"The Kybalion: A Study of The Hermetic Philosophy of Ancient Egypt and Greece" by Three Initiates is a timeless masterpiece that unveils the profound teachings of Hermeticism, an ancient and esoteric philosophical tradition that has captivated seekers of wisdom for centuries. This enigmatic book delves into the fundamental principles governing the universe, offering readers a glimpse into the secrets of creation, transformation, and spiritual enlightenment.
At its core, "The Kybalion" explores the Seven Hermetic Principles, which are the foundation of Hermetic philosophy. These principles include the Law of Mentalism, the Law of Correspondence, the Law of Vibration, the Law of Polarity, the Law of Rhythm, the Law of Cause and Effect, and the Law of Gender. Through the wisdom contained within these principles, the book takes readers on a profound journey of self-discovery and understanding of the universe.
One of the strengths of "The Kybalion" is its ability to present complex metaphysical concepts in a clear and accessible manner. The Three Initiates, who remain anonymous, have crafted a text that is both profound and practical. Each principle is explained with examples and analogies, making it easier for readers to grasp the depth of Hermetic wisdom. The authors also emphasize the interconnectedness of these principles, highlighting how they work in harmony to shape our reality.
What sets this book apart is its focus on the practical application of Hermetic principles in everyday life. It encourages readers to harness the power of their thoughts, emotions, and actions to transform themselves and their circumstances. By understanding and aligning with the Hermetic Laws, individuals can achieve personal growth, spiritual evolution, and a deeper connection to the cosmos.
"The Kybalion" also delves into the concept of mental transmutation, which is the process of consciously shifting one's thoughts and emotions to create a more positive and harmonious life. This idea is particularly relevant in today's world, where the importance of mindfulness and the law of attraction is widely recognized.
However, it's important to approach "The Kybalion" with an open mind and a willingness to contemplate its teachings deeply. Some readers may find the ideas challenging or even contradictory to conventional beliefs. Yet, therein lies the beauty of Hermeticism—it invites exploration and introspection, encouraging individuals to question and seek their own truth.
In conclusion, "The Kybalion" is a profound and enlightening work that has the power to transform the lives of those who delve into its pages. It serves as a timeless guide to understanding the mysteries of the universe, the power of the mind, and the path to spiritual awakening. Whether you are a seasoned seeker of esoteric wisdom or a newcomer to Hermeticism, this book offers a valuable and life-changing journey into the heart of ancient philosophical teachings.

One good thing about becoming ill, I think, is that I've been forced to slow down, uh, everything.
I'm better at editing and beta-reading my own work, I think. Or, not better at it, but I - am better at noticing the little details because, at my new paste, I can't just zoom through. I'm going sentence by sentence, paragraph to paragraph. I gotta take breaks in between chapters to rest so I can keep going.
Anyway, just giving The Seal at bit of a polish. I remember wishing I could forget my own fics so I can read them to get a better feel, and, wish granted! Haha I don't remember the words anymore, so I'm going along reading and going, "oh! that was a fun! but this sentence structure flows better... OH! that worked well!... oh shit, that was me :0"
