Stir Crazy Au; Part: 1 - The Love Story For The Ages

Stir Crazy Au (Name pending idk thought it was fitting since oz is trapped here) But, with all great au's we get into the back stories of the characters within them. Why not start from the begin of it all? When Will met his wife, Amée.

Amée started off by being born in a small American town, the classic everyone knew everyone else type of town. I haven't decided which state but I want them to be deeply religious. Christians, obviously as it's the main religion in america that has grabbed us by the balls since the fuckass in the past wrote the declaration. Amée's character arc and story explores the feeling of being abandoned by your parents/community, ostracization, and looking for acceptance through romantic love. The story kicks off with Amée's boyfriend breaking up with her due to her lack of boundaries and inability to go anywhere without her with him. (As he should) This sends her into a spiral, one that only ends as she takes notice of a collage program that will send her off to England. (No clue where in England) She takes this opportunity without telling anyone, and the sad part about this is the fact none of her 'friends' nor even her parents question or even are aware she has left in the first place. (Friends is used loosely here it's more people she hangs out with not to be alone) In England, Amée's plans are simple. She plans on doing a bucket list, to do everything she never could in her small town before killing herself. (She doesn't have a solid plan on how to do this. Only must is that she wants to die in a secluded place where her body won't be found. She doesn't want her body to be sent back to her town, way to be fully disconnected to it.) One of the things you hear about often in England is about the pub crawls and THIS, this is where William comes in. Not as some suave shining knight in armor, or even a friend, no what Amée gains at the end of the night is a stalker. William basically falls in love with her at first sight, or well more like gets obsessed with her at first glance. I wanted his reasoning to be something painfully simple, realistic as well. Maybe she smiled at him in her drunken haze, or maybe she bumped into him an apologized. Whatever it was it was the one thing this desperate mf needed to cling like a koala. I'm hammering home that he's a pathetic stinky mess of a man like he's gross an doesn't know how to take care of himself. He hasn't learned how to mask properly either an is sooo awkward. Think of awkward smelly nerds that aren't aware of their bodies needs. Currently while William is in his own robotics course at his local collage he spends his free days following Amée around. From bars, to shops, to nature walks. Wherever she goes he follows. He starts taking pictures of her on day three of this, not wanting to loose even a second of her smiles. Granted he's left to wonder why they look so forlorn at times. There is meant to be this slow increase in his unhinged behavior the longer it goes on until he gets brave enough to approach her at a bar. (I was thinking their 'love' story all happens over a year at least, or two depending on how these things last. Yes I'm that bitch that has to look up details for small things like how long do over sea programs last etc) Will, of course, after having gone through her bookshelves and read the romance novels she has laying around decided to try to reenact a scene from her favorite one. He fails miserably. Both him and Amée get kicked out on the street. Manz starts tweeking because he HATES when things don't go to plan, only for Amée to start sobbing on his shoulder. She's tipsy enough to start babbling about her life, the break up, the loneliness all of it comes pouring out because at the end of the day she just wants someone... anyone to listen to her to see her as her instead of just another face in the background. Will listens to her, he takes in every detail so he can write it down for later (he has a whole document on her at his home) while he helps get her back to her apartment where she spends the night on the couch eating ice cream while he maps out the surrounding area an goes snooping around for easy access doors an such into her apartment.

Yeah he breaks into her apartment more times then not just to be around her scent. Probs finds a drink of her in the fridge an drinks after her an gets flustered like 'omg.... an indirect kiss' like god you gross freak I hate his ass!!!! So, of course this has been building up for a long time, over the months he and Amée get closer there's this connection that's undeniable. She finds his awkwardness super endearing, adores how he rambles on about his work shares every piece of information, doesn't treat her as an idiot when there is something she doesn't get instead he excitedly explains it all. He adores her creativity, her determination, and willingness to learn about things she doesn't understand. She's open minded. Yet, at some point this sweet connection starts to sour. The time for her to go back to america is getting closer thus is her date to commit. So, she starts to push him away, ignoring calls, the knocking at her door as she gets herself ready to the best of her ability. She starts to feel guilty that she even befriended him in the first place she knew her plans from the start. She knew where this would lead, but she couldn't help herself. His attention, his adoration, his gaze that made her feel warmth bubbling up in her chest. She didn't want to fall in love with him and ignored said feelings but he had been chipping away at her. As you can guess William has put the pieces together that she planed to kill herself. Gets PISSED, (she's HIS she belongs to him ALL HIS SHE CAN'T JUST LEAVE HIM) kidnaps her and places her in her room. It's her room to the extent of it's things that he had taken home from her apartment an pics of her are plastered all over the wall. Amée is ofc scared shitless not knowing whats going to happen to her, then sense of betrayal from William until he starts going off on his crazy little ramble rant about how they are meant to be, that she can't see it but their souls belong together, that she needs to open her eyes (ironic because he has her blind folded rn) She's kinda losing her mind during this, shaking and shivering an not as scared as she should be. The more he talks about wanting her, needing her the more she starts to soften up, but she tries one more weak attempt to scream at him. (cuz i mean yeah duh) kick, an thrash only for him to take her blind fold off sending her into this shocked still silence. Pupils blown wide, frantically looking around the dim room, shadows hiding some of the pics that are hung up on the wall but she knows they are her. They are all of her.

She breaks.

Her tears are silent, her chest heaving, Williams gravely voice nothing more then white noise to her. This isn't her being left in some horrified shock. No, she is confused, in a sense of disbelief because no one. No one has ever gone through the effort to even get to know her. So, the fact that William put so much effort, and time into her without her knowing? Breaks down that last wall she had up. Her tears turn from silent to loud bawling which William kinda expected and is petting her hair telling her no one can hear her only to be smacked in the face with the words "I love you too!" So now man looks like he's been stunned locked, this wasn't the reaction he expected out of her. Doesn't let her go so there's this bit of back and forth for a few days of him taking care of her needs and her just being utterly smitten by him. Which only baffles him more until he's like "okay what are you playing at." then they have a serious conversation her about how she's amazed that he cares enough about her to do all of this and him being like well why wouldn't I etc etc. The time for her to go back to america is getting closer and by the time he believes she's not going to run she's more then late getting back. They fuck in the picture room like wild animals an they both come out of it looking like they had a fight with a bear. (Freddy fazbea- no.)

They are spiritually married, (not officially paper work that happens later) Amée doesn't care where they go or where they live as long as she's with him. William well doesn't like England very much, bad memories and his parents may or may not have been physically/emotionally abusive I haven't decided. But he does like america, why? Because his best pen pal buddy Henry is there!!! Henry Emily from good old... "insert any of the states around Utah" because I don't see Henry wanting to live in the place he grew up for the rest of his life like that's wack shit man. William reads the most recent letter, writes to Henry about how he's gonna get married packs his shit up and leaves to go meet him an introduce his wife to him. Henry and William have some kinda fucky relationship going on that's very queer but not Wirly style. They do not get together this is not poly happily ever after lmao.

So, with this we close out on William showing up at Henry's doorstep with Amée nuzzling into his arm in the middle of the night banging on his besties door (a bestie he has NEVER met in person I might add) while he's like "Hey Henry this is my wife!"

Chaos ensues.

Writing For My Faves

Note ; Getting back into the swing of things and all (both writing and now reading the series itself), I thought it might be nice to start off by writing about some of my favorite characters! These guys are gonna be from all over the place, so bear with me here-

>> GORDON AGRIPPA

Yeeeah like this one was even a question-

I don’t think I really spoke about it much before my hiatus(es), at least not on here, but he’s part of the reason why I really caught interest with the series. Yes, probably one of the quietest characters that (so far) hasn’t had much screentime has lived in my head rent free since I started. My brain really looked past the popular, flashy characters and went ‘ah yes, this one’. Am I mad about it? Definitely not <3

Literally the sweetest mf to ever exist. Even if Gordon’s not too well-versed in relationships and is more than a little awkward overall, it’s obvious that he’s trying. His methods of showing affection might be a little unconventional, but that’s kinda the charm of it right? 

Remember the little part where it’s revealed that he makes tiny dolls of the rest of his team? Yeah, you’re going to be joining that collection. 

It’s pretty likely that Gordon’s going to be at least a little self-conscious if you two go out together. It’s nothing against you, there’s no doubt that he adores you, but his family doesn’t have the best reputation. It’s easy to pick up on the whispers, the eyes that follow you both. It’s unnerving for him, so please, bring him back down from that anxious spiral. 

He also really enjoys quiet nights with you! Whether it’s both of you doing something together or you two are working on separate things in the same room, spending time like that is really nice. 

>> DOROTHY UNSWORTH

For someone who was quite literally asleep for a majority of what I know of the series, I’m a little surprised that she grew on me so fast. While I don’t know her backstory (if it’s even revealed in the current story) her powers and upbeat, playful attitude weren’t what I initially expected. 

In a relationship she probably wouldn’t act too much differently. It would be pretty often that she naps leaning against your shoulder or holds your hand, sleeve, or just you in general when there’s somewhere you both need to be. Dorothy is perfectly capable of guiding herself when she’s sleepwalking (or whatever it would be classified as), but she finds it nice to have someone there.

Other dates and hangouts consists of both of you spending time in that dream realm she has. What better place to spend time than somewhere that can literally become anywhere? 

Still, though, it’s also good to actually go do something instead of slipping into dreamland. In that case Dorothy would prefer something a little more mellow - something like a walk around the forest trails or simply window-shopping. Also nap dates, nut, y’know, staying active is also important-

>> SOL MARRON

I recently got to the point in the manga where Sol first shows up and I’m legitimately so excited to see her pop up again in the coming arcs. Her magic is super interesting and her backstory/reasoning for joining the knights is really compelling imo. 

She’s your own personal cheerleader - loud and energetic, Sol’s all too happy to encourage you whenever you need. 

I could see her showing off a little here and there. Sol knows she’s strong, of course, but watching your reaction to a particularly impressive spell of successfully pulling off something equally stunning gets her a little bit giddy. 

Is also super protective of you. If anyone even thinks about giving you trouble Sol’s right there to help you. Even if she does occasionally go overboard, the only thing that matters to her is that you’re okay. 

Sol is also pretty physically affectionate! It’s all too often that she had an arm around you, or a hand in yours. She’s also a fan of surprising you with cheek kisses. Overall she’s pretty spontaneous with her affection, so be ready for that-

>> RADES SPIRITO

Honestly Rades is a difficult one to pin down. Overall he’s a bit of an asshole, very cocky and more than a little selfish, but under all that is probably someone a little softer. He’s obviously pretty beat-up over being vilified for his magic, and while the concept is definitely… morally wrong at best, he definitely has power. 

Around you Rades doesn’t act too different on surface-level. However, he’s a little softer with you in private. He’s loud and confident in the presence of others, seeming to always be like that, but in the presence of one of the few people he trusts, Rades is more vulnerable. 

Just like he brags about his own abilities and power, he’s just as likely to show you off. I mean this both in he’ll literally do so but Rades also has a habit of boasting about his lover’s abilities. Even if your magic isn’t all that impressive, he’ll find a way to make it sound like it is. It doesn’t stop there, either. If you have another talent he’s also not going to shut up about how good you are at that.

Hiiii can I get a sfw of manager headcannons? Of maybe all the guys crushing on their manager and how each guy would be as well as how they would deal with literally THE WHOLE GROUP liking you? The manager is bubbly and affectionate with them so it’s what makes them love you. Could it be inarizaki and fukorodani?? (Pls mention my boy konoha hes always left out 😔🤚) thanksss

i’d say that collectively, the boys are pretty discreet in comparison to the other teams’ behavior. they’re much more chill with you mostly because of the fear that they’ll chase their adorable little manager away.

and god knows they wouldn’t be able to replace something like you.

everything you did was just so god damned cute. the way you brought them little snacks to enjoy before and after their games, and how while you did care for them as a team, you also cared for them as individuals.

and that’s exactly what put them in their current positions.

at first it was weird, all of them realizing around the same time that their affections for their manager went much deeper than they probably should have.

and on top of all that? you were completely oblivious to it. they considered this to be both a blessing and a curse, as while they could get away with a lot, it was just so frustrating how you never seemed to pick up on their advances.

atsumu was the most bold of the group. he’d have no shame, commenting on how “your hair smells nice today” and how “those bottoms make your legs look so good.” it never failed to tank your once overly bubbly self down to a flustered mess, thanking him before dismissing yourself.

aran figured it was better for him to show you rather than make an attempt with words. always helping you when you struggled to lift something that you should’ve known damn well was too big for you. ushering you away from tsumu when his compliments became just a bit too overwhelming for you. he was like your hero.

suna decided to take a much more slick approach. making and sharing playlists with you with multiple love songs that he could only pray would get your attention, only for you to complain that you needed something “more upbeat.” he even offered you an earbud to listen with him on the rare occasion that he was able to snag a seat next to you.

osamu was also more of a shower than a talker, as his brother already did more than enough of that. his favorite thing was to bring you gifts. foods and maybe even small knickknacks that he claims he picked up because “they reminded me of you.”

and kita, while relatively quiet with you, decided that the best approach was to simply hold his silence with you. he worried you’d become overwhelmed by the others, especially with the team visibly doting over you more and more everyday, so he saw no problem in letting you seek comfort in his silence. besides, you took up most of the time running your mouth to him anyway. not that he was complaining.

while there were some minor disagreements and rare arguments over you, there was one thing they all seemed to agree on. all they wanted was for you to be safe.

which is why they were so protective over you. they couldn’t let their poor, sweet manager get her heart broken by some jackass just looking to manipulate them and toy with their heart! she was just too precious for that.

they didn’t do much directly. not immediately, anyway. if they saw someone seemingly flirting with you, they would wait until they went away to pull you aside, calmly encouraging you not to engage with that person again.

and how could you not listen when they all sounded so certain? it’s not like your favorite boys would ever steer you wrong.

i’d also say that this team is also pretty discreet about their little crushes on you.

except for one of them.

“bokuto koutarou” and “discreet” don’t exactly belong in the same sentence.

but for the most part, everything was fine. you kept them all on track, and were even there to help bokuto through his mood swings better than anyone else. you were like a gift sent to them by the gods themselves. and, on top of all of that, you were so sweet and considerate. your energy brought light into the darkest of room. it’s like you wanted all of them to fall for you as hard as they did.

akaashi attempted to show his feelings by putting an effort into caring about yours. he was there to make sure you didn’t overwork yourself, and offered you such kind and reassuring words after a particularly hard day because god he loved the way your smile looked when he did. and even more, he enjoyed being the cause of it.

bokuto was much more straight forward. or, he was trying to be. but somehow you always seemed to brush it off without even realizing. he was always rushing up to you with a “you look so cute today, y/n.” “i’m so glad you’re our manager.” and you just couldn’t resist smiling and giggling at the walking ball of sunshine in your day.

and konoha— well, he pretty much just assisted you in brushing off bokuto. tugging him away whenever he kept bothering you for just a bit too long, and always jokingly reminding you to focus when your eyes wandered around the room too much.

as for other people trying to approach you? and with the intention to flirt? don’t expect to experience much of a reaction at the time, rather, they’d sulk in the realization that none of them can control you or tell you what to do.

still, they avoid this happening as much as they can. sending blank stares at those who look at you for too long. throwing “casual” arms over your shoulder in public while sending a sharp warning glance. even bokuto showed a bit more ice in his veins at the potential threat.

they wouldn’t be in denial about it either. they wanted you for themselves. you were too sweet to let anyone have, including each other. they all knew they shared the same feelings

they just never spoke on them.

these mfs? zero chill. and zero shame or remorse about it either. it’s like a constant battle for attention.

even kenma craves your attention.

it’s literally a fucking wonder and a mystery how you stay oblivious to all of this when they’re literally always smothering you.

how could they not? you were so nice and patient with them, allowing them to bother you all day like that. it wasn’t a job many would be able to handle. but you genuinely enjoyed their company!

kuroo would compliment you constantly. got new shoes? he’s first to point them out. dyed your hair a slightly different color? you bet he noticed. oh, and if you ever need help with even the tiniest thing in any subject? you bet your ass you’re getting trapped in a tutoring session. but that’s okay! you were so thankful for him. the way you remained so positive and patient with him nearly melted him on the spot every time.

kenma attempted to show interest in you by doing exactly that. he paid so much attention to you as well. which, while it doesn’t sound like much, it was always a shocker for the people constantly around him to see just how much attention he showed towards you. it wasn’t to the same extent as kuroo, but it was enough for him to learn your favorite snacks and share them with you after he “accidentally” got too much for him to handle by himself. he could even be caught deep in conversation with you about a game you have never and probably will never play. still, he loved seeing how your eyes lit up as he shared his favorite things with you.

yamamoto was just what you’d expect from him. clingy, forward, and perhaps even creepy if you weren’t so sweet about everything. always giggling and pinching his cheek like a baby. you were going to be the death of him.

lev was just annoying. at least, anyone else would probably find him annoying. but of course not to you! he followed you around all day like a stray cat, finding comfort in the way you treated him so nicely and refused to scold him like the others. your words of encouragement only sent him spiraling in adoration for you. so you best believe your ass that if you asked for literally anything, he was more than happy to take care of it for you.

and yaku? he plays your white knight. always there to pry off yamamoto kuroo and lev, only to plop himself right into their spots. it was a constant game of tug of war and you barely even acknowledged it. it was almost painful to witness.

and even though there was lots and lots of bickering amongst the team over you, all of that was thrown out of the window at the idea of someone trying to take you away.

perhaps they were a bit dramatic, but that guy’s hands were a bit too low for their liking. why were you going around hugging bozos like him anyway? so like the feral pack they were they wasted no time springing into action, tugging you away for “important team matters.”

while you were naive, you weren’t a complete idiot. you scolded each of them quietly and sighed as they lowered their heads in shame. you ruffled lev’s hair as he stood in front of you.

of course you forgave them. which is why the same thing kept happening. over and over again.

late 19th century!! somewhere in dusty ass texas!! geoff works every day at the saloon with pianist awsten knight keeping him company most nights while geoff works the bar. his favorite patron is one of awsten's friends, an artist named jawn who's been saving money up for one of those new kodak #1 cameras that are everywhere now.

it's a fine life - predictable, but fine. geoff only gets the feeling of wanting to leave when he's alone at night, dreaming of what's beyond, maybe to the north. he's heard good things about chicago, but he knows deep down he'll never leave. the highlight of his day is the people he gets to meet, though most are familiar faces at this point. otto is so far from a familiar face that geoff has to look twice when he sees him, otto sidling up to the bar and being awfully charming, even calling geoff "darlin'" in a way that makes his head fuckin spin

8. Casey   |   casey is our snake boi as we like to call him. he has his human form but he identifies as a snake-humanoid thing... honestly i’ve never asked him in depth about that. he prefers being inside but when he comes out he’s suave as hell. people seem to like him more than they like most of us. he’s one of the few in the system whose origin we actually know of. he has his own blog though he honestly doesn’t use it that much. - alec & Aesh (Image source here.)

Celyn   |   he’s one anxious mf but he’s also outstandingly good at social situations. like better than i could ever imagine. he’s sweet but he’s a fighter. i wouldn’t call him most likely to throw the first punch out of us all, but he’s resilient for sure. he has his own blog that he’s just starting to use again. it took them forever but for a long while now he and our system mate tyler have been together. - emery & alec (Image source here.)

Eden   |   as far as aesh and i know eden’s the only system member we have that split directly from another system member...? bailey was driving a car and witnessed a car accident that she nearly got into one day and eden came about to help with driving responsibilities while bailey was out of commission. his full name’s “charles eden morgan” and if any of you play video games you can probably imagine what fictional universe he came from. he’s still sort of developing as far as personality goes but he likes singing and driving, and he has an affinity for cowboy aesthetics. he’s made us listen to old town road so many times. - alec & Aesh (Image source here.)

Dakota   |   we’ve had some problems with dakota in the past because he tends to get overwhelmed and just sorta spiral out of control, but he’s a good guy, really he is. we call him ‘daddy’ or ‘papa’ dakota pretty often because he tends to fill a father figure role with a lot of our system members. in fact we named his personal tumblr account ‘daddy garcia’ and i’m pretty sure he hasn’t changed it yet lmao. - alec & Aesh (Image source here.)

Reaux   |   xir full name is despereaux, and xe’s a fae. xe has an animal form which is a mouse, this being because xe’s actually a fictive from the book the tale of despereaux. because xe’s a fae xe doesn’t subscribe to gender in any way. xe’s definitely unique. xe’s probably the most optimistic and bubbly person we’ve got in our system. absolute sweetie, we rate xem 5 out of 5 stars, follow xir blog for social justice and memes. - alec & Aesh (Image source here.)
