she went through a few variations: some brown ones, a few spotted ones, and quite a few head ideas. i saved a few and added them to this. they were the first passes for her design.

I finally got around to actually giving my RP characters some form of reference. Not going to share the full spread, but I will share their individual sketches.

Queen Anne’s Lace for Haven - Myrtle for Love, Duty, and Home

Spider comes from a nomadic group, and that group unfortunately disbanded due to some natural disaster. So, she seeks out a haven for safety then turns to find a new home, the reasoning behind her flowers.

Dog Rose for Pleasure and Pain - Lily of the Valley for Sadness and “Death” - Wild Tansies for “Declaration of War”

She was from an old rp that’s not active anymore. But, she was from a clan who lived for strength and power. So, her flowers represent that as a cat who had a negative influence and her “pleasure” in being loyal to them.

“Foxtrot” - still unnamed

Apple for Healing, Love, Strength, Temptation, and “Represents a Choice” - Butterfly Weed for Sad Remembrance, Hope from Sorrow, and “Let Me Go” - Lobelia for Love and Devotion

She doesn’t have a full backstory yet but it verges on her trying to move on from her past. “Foxtrot” made a bad choice and it costed her a lot. Now, she’s learning to live with it and move on towards a future filled with love and healing.

so spidermask needs some explanation. the markings on their face are supposed to mimic the eight eyes of (most) spiders. the banding on their legs and tail is similar to that of many english spider species! im really unsure of this, anon, and i really hope you like it!

bet! it’s not entirely fleshed out but they dont end up leaving the forest cause twolegs give up construction cause idk,,, activists r like guys stopppp- anyway- equipment is still lingering around the forest and some things are still damaged like the river and the trees but they’ve adapted and they know a bit more about twolegs than before! i kinda just made the au cause i liked the forest territory more and memories yknow- anyway- it sets up for all my inserts like voidice and spidermask and badflower- which are almost all windclan cats- because wc needs more rep! anyway this au focuses on spidermask/badflower (they’re technically the same character- just dont know how to combine them)
