🚨 BREAKING CASTING NEWS 🚨

EXCLUSIVE: the ROGUE CURL (Spider Man: Far From Home) will star in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, set to premiere in theaters next July.

The film, based on Homer’s epic poem, was green-lit by Universal and boasts a cast of stars including Tom Holland (Spider-Man: No Way Home, Uncharted) Holland’s fiancée Zendaya (Challengers, Dune) Matt Damon, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong’o, Anne Hathaway, Charlize Theron, and Jon Bernthal.

Sources on location in Favignana, Italy confirmed that CURL began filming recently. Said one source, “…everyone in the cast is gorgeous. I mean I t’s Hollywood, right? But when ROGUE got to set there was like a new energy that settled over us. My god have you seen it? Magnificent!”

Reps for Universal declined to comment.

Meanwhile, news of CURL’s latest project went viral on social media. Long-time fan @fsugirl1 was reportedly feral, unable to speak coherent words.

It was surprisingly the best nights sleep you had gotten in a long time. The cares and worries of the world melted away. You had Ava back in your arms.

You woke up, feeling her soft fingertips brush against your chest. The slight callus of her fingertips sent shivers thru your body.

“Morning” you manage to say with thru your grogginess.

“Morning” she mumbles back, a little smile on her lips. “I missed you so much”

“I missed you.”

The little peaceful moment was disrupted by the cries of your daughter from her crib. You and Ava bolted up.

“I got the bottle” she quickly says as if calling dibs. Just like the old days.

“I got our daughter” a small smile makes its way across your face. Our daughter. It was so surreal and yet it felt just right.

Ava kisses your cheek before rushing into the kitchen. Life in this dingy apartment was not easy for her and yet somehow she made it work.

Ava came in to find you gently rocking little Isabelle. Your daughter was gently cooing, her little cries had subsided. For the first time in a long time, Ava felt at home.

Ava eased the bottle into little Isabelle’s mouth, the baby gently took the bottle. Little coos and sounds escaped the infant. You and Ava shared a look of absolute wonder.

“My family,” Ava asks, “do they…miss me?”

“Every damn day.” You replied. “I have dinners with them almost every night. I think they were worried about me.”

“When this whole thing with Muse is over, I want them to know. About me. About Isabelle.”

“When this Muse thing is over, I’m leading you and Isabelle into that house myself” you kissed her nose, sealing your promise.

Ava giggled. She missed these little moments. And now she could share them with your little girl too.

That night, the New York Courthouse archives was broken into. Muse made his way into the archive room. Any resistance was taken care of and their blood used for a calling card left there.

His target? An old transcription of the Ayala v City of New York. If this White Tiger had any relation to the last one, a little bait would bring you and the White Tiger to him.

The next day was relatively calm. You were mostly adjusting to parenthood.

Ava couldn’t help but laugh. “You can take on a guy with robot tentacles but you can’t change a diaper?”

“I’m still learning” you bemoan as you finish changing your daughter and disposing of the ruined diaper.

A knock at the door spooked you. Ava grabbed a Tiger dagger and kept at a distance.

“You really gonna leave a blind man out here?” The smirking voice of Matt Murdock came from behind the door.

You rolled your eyes and opened the door. Matt greeted you with a hug and a smirk. His smirk dropped a little when he sensed her.

“Ava. Welcome back.” He hands you a file. “Here it is. A revision to the birth certificate for you and for Ava, a legal document showing that her death was ‘mislabeled’. Not every day you get to bring those two documents together.”

“Thanks Matt.” You offer him a pat on the shoulder, “you’re a really good lawyer”

Matt gave a nod and then turned and left.

Things felt like they were coming together for you and Ava. You turned to Ava and offered her a smile. The two of you were finally getting your lives back.

And then came the news report. The reporter frantically explained that a hostage video was just sent to the station by the infamous Muse.

On the TV, you saw Muse recording the video from a camcorder.

“I come with a little message for Spider-Man and the White Tiger. A little invite to my new art installation at the Kirby-Leiber construction site” his voice practically growled.

He turned his camera and your blood ran cold. The video showed the entire Ayala family tied up in chains.

Ava practically fell to her knees.

Muse grabbed the camera again, “be here by midnight tonight or their blood will make my masterpiece. My magnum opus will premiere at midnight”

The video shut down. You and Ava shared a look.

“Suit up” Ava runs over and grabs her White Tiger outfit. She loads up her knives and tiger claws.

Your eyes wandered to your tattered black and silver suit. It wasn’t in any good shape. You needed to make a pit stop.

You give your baby girl one last kiss as she sleeps, completely unaware of the danger. You would come back to her. That was your promise.

You make your way to Frank’s hideout. Surprisingly the gruff ex-military man stood outside, meeting you at the entryway as he loaded his jet black Ford mustang.

“Saw the news.” Frank shrugs. “Good to see you again, Ava” Frank throws a high powered rifle into the trunk.

“Frank” Ava gives him a nod.

“We need your help” you tell Frank. The man tosses you your old red and blue uniform.

“The black suit’s too damaged” Frank smirks, “maybe it’s time for Spider-Man to step out again”

You look to the old mask and then to Ava. She gives you an encouraging nod.

The familiar tap of a cane catches your ear and muddies your thought process. Matt Murdock, decked in his Daredevil attire, steps out of Frank’s hideout.

“Muse has your family.” Matt states, adjusting his glasses, “you’re gonna need all the help you can get. I brought a friend, hope you don’t mind”

A tall, muscular man dressed in a black hoodie and yellow shirt stepped forward and shook your hand. “Luke Cage. Pleasure”

Tom Holland | ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ Premiere (2021)

The Netflex Marvel Universe (Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, The Defenders, and Punisher) originally started out as a separate pocket universe from the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe). After the cancelation of the shows, fans began to campaign for the return of Daredevil and even ran a billboard in Times Square in 2019. Charlie Cox, who played Daredevil in the Netflix series, was officially brought into the Marvel Universe in his Matt Murdock persona in Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021). This was followed up by Vincent D'Onofrio returning to his role as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin in the Disney+ shows Hawkeye (2021) and Echo (2023 - 2024). Disney announced they were going to do a relaunch of the Daredevil series. When production started, it was only going to be loosely connected to the Netflex series, Vanessa Fisk was going to be recast, and Foggy and Karen were going to be excluded. Not far into production, a new creative team was brought in, and it was decided that it would be an actual continuation from the Netflex series. Aylet Zurer was rehired as Vanessa Fisk and Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson) and Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page) were brought back. Also returning from the Netflex series besides leads Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio were Wilson Bethel (Benjamin "Dex" Poindexter/Bullseye), John Bernthal (Frank Castle/The Punisher), and Susan Varon (Josie). Daredevil: Born Again premiered on Disney+ with a two episode launch (Heaven's Half Hour/Optics) on March 4, 2025. The first two episodes introduced to the MCU Hector Ayala/White Tiger (played by Kamar de los Reyes, who first appeared in Deadly Hands of Kung Fu 19 - 1975) and Heather Glenn (played by Margarita Levieva, who was first introduced in Daredevil 126 - 1975 and committed suicide after a troubled relationship with Matt Murdock in Daredevil 220 - 1985). The title came from the story arc by Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli (Daredevil 226 - 233), where Karen Page sold Daredevil's secret identity to the Kingpin and the Kingpin then went about destroying Matt Murdock's life and reputation. In the TV version, Fisk already knew Murdock's secret identity, and Matt had given up being Daredevil after almost killing Bullseye, who had murdered Foggy. The first two episodes drew from a more recent story arc where Wilson Fisk became mayor of New York (Daredevil 595 - 2018) and made masked vigilantes illegal. This law remained in effect even after Luke Cage took over as Mayor and wasn't finally repealed until the events of Gang War (2023 - 2024). Disney Branded Television Saves ‘Hamster & Gretel’ Season 2 Airdate In September

Disney Branded Television’s animated superhero comedy Hamster & Gretel, created by Dan Povenmire (Phineas and Ferb) returns for Season 2 on Saturday, September 14, at 10 a.m. EDT, with two episodes weekly. Once Spider finally quites after his breakdown Quaritch asks, “do you want to sit up front with me.” Spider doesn’t know what to say to that, he’s so mentally exhausted, so he just shrugs. His dad takes that as a yes and ushers him to the passenger side. The seatbelt doesn’t have a child lock on it but the door still does. They quietly go on their way, Spider vacantly staring ahead, Quaritch giving Spider quick looks every few minutes as if he’s afraid the boy will disappear. He reaches over to ruffle his hair, “you're gonna be okay. You’ll see when we get home. The place still needs some work but I’m sure you’ll like it.” The place still needs work? He was already working on a place. Which meant he’d been planning all this for a very long time. The realization sends a shiver up his spine.

There has to be a way to escape without anyone getting hurt. The sun is starting to set. They’d passed through St.Louis and now were somewhere deep in the country. Nothing but farmland for miles and hardly anyone around. Crash the car, his brain screams at him. A small crash could give him the opportunity to slip out a broken window and run. Without a second of hesitation Spider grabs for the steering wheel, pulling it hard to the right. The car swerves dangerously, Quaritch attempting to correct it while pushing Spider away. He must have taken his foot off the gas because the car slows before coming to a complete stop on the side of the road.

Quaritch is radiating fury as he kills the engine and gets out of the car. Spider scrambles to undo his seatbelt and climb over to the driver's side to escape as the passenger door is flung open. Quaritch grabs his legs pulling him closer but not totally out of the car. Spider’s stomach is flush with the seat, he’s clawing at the center console to get away despite his dad’s firm grip on him when a sudden slap to his behind makes him yelp in surprise. “ARE- YOU -CRAZY! DO- YOU- HAVE- A -DEATH-WISH! YOU-COULD-HAVE-GOTTEN-YOURSELF-KILLED!” Each word is punctuated with a powerful hit. If Quaritch is holding back any of his strength Spider can’t tell. (He is. Quaritch doesn’t want to leave any bruises. It’s just hard enough to sting)

It doesn’t take long for the poor fifth grader to start sobbing all over again. He’s never felt pain like this and all the yelling is really freaking him out. When the tears start the spanking stops. “Now tell me son, why did you deserve this punishment,” his dad asks with deadly calm.

“Stop! I’m scared,” Spider whimpers between gasps, “I’m scared!”

To his surprise his dad gently scoops him up and holds him, Spider’s arms wrapping around his neck out of instinct. Dad’s rubbing his back as he walks back and forth. “I know you are. Change is a scary thing. But I promise you’ll love our new home. We’ll be happy there.”

“You just hit me,” Spider chokes out.

“I spanked you as a punishment for your bad behavior.”

Spider buries his face into his dad’s shoulder, “because I could have gotten us hurt.”

“Because you could have gotten us killed.” The gravity of what he’d just done sinks in. He could be dead right now.

The realization makes his sobs intensify all over again. He clutches onto his dad tightly, the man hugging him harder in return. “There y’a go. Y’a learned your lesson. We’re all good now.” His dad holds him and paces around with him until he calms down. Then he gently places him in the backseat, buckles him in, and makes his way to the trunk of the S.U.V. He comes back with a child sized backpack. He pulls out something that makes Spider’s eyes go wide.

He’d had a stuffed puppy since as far back as he could remember. Apparently he’d been brought in with it and he had cherished the toy. Until about a year ago when a mean older foster brother had stolen it from him and cut off its head right in front of him. His foster mother had thrown it out despite Spider screaming bloody murder. But now here it was, perfectly intact and clean. “Do you remember this,” dad said, waving the toy in front of him. Spider nods, reaching for his plushie. His dad smiles warmly and gives it to him. Spider hugs it close, while his dad pets his hair. “There’s more toys in the backpack. You’ve got art supplies and books and action figures. Should keep y’a entertained until we stop for the night. Y’a want anything else?”

“What else do you have?”

“A whole bunch of stuff. Y’a want some snacks? Or a blanket and a pillow.” Spider vacantly shakes his head yes. When they drive off again Spider is in a cozy nest in the backseat, his prized stuffed animal in the crook of his arm, coloring on a sketch pad balanced on his knee, occasionally munching on peanut butter sandwich crackers and sipping a capri sun. Quaritch looks in the rearview mirror every few minutes smiling at the sight of his son.

Spider falls asleep a little after sunset. Quaritch takes it as his que to find a place to sleep for the night. After a few more hours he finds a local inn located in a super small town. He’s carrying his sleeping son with two duffel bags slung around his shoulders when he checks in. The receptionist coos at the tired child. It makes Quaritch smile. This all feels so normal. So right.

Quaritch is actually really impressed by the room. It’s all old hardwood furniture, plush embroidered blankets, and Persian rugs. He lays Spider down, gets himself cleaned up and into fresh clothes then makes up a bath for Spider. Gently he shakes his son awake. “Junior. Come on son. You’ll feel better when y’a get washed up.” Spider is so drained from the day that he won’t even remember taking a bath, getting into his p.js and being tucked into bed. But a feeling starts to sink into his subconsciousness. A feeling of content and safety that spreads through him as the weight of the plush sheets is tucked around him, a calloused hand smoothing back his hair, a kiss being placed on his forehead. He snuggles in with his plushy and falls into a sound sleep.

When Spider wakes up in the morning he’s instantly alert, everything from the day before a stark contrast to now. He’s in a room fit for a king, laying in one of two queen sized beds. He spots his dad sitting at the writing table quietly talking on the phone. “…didn’t make the news? ..Not even the ten o’clock?…… Wow. Well that’s good for us. ….Yeah. ….Yeah. …Oh he’s adjustin’ but I have high hopes for today….. Yeah…..yeah we should get there a little after noon. We’ll start the climb but probably end up campin’ out. I’m not about to be climbin’ in the dark. But by noon tomorrow Fike I’ll be sitting at the kitchen table eatin’ lunch with my son. And I’ve got you to thank for that.”

Spider sits up rubbing sleep crusted eyes. His dad smiles at him, “well good morning sunshine.” He crosses the room to him. Spider looks up at him blankly as he starts smoothing out his son’s bed head. “I’ve got uncle Fike on the phone. He really want to talk to y’a and see how your doin’.” Spider shakes his head. “Oh don’t be like that. Here.” Quaritch forces the phone into Spider’s hand and positions it by his ear.

“Hi kid, how’s it going,” Fike asks. His tone is nervous and apologetic.

“You lied to me.”

Fike sighs, “I know I did. And that wasn’t right. But I did it to give you the home you deserve.”

“What about what I want?”

His dad scoffs, “You're a kid. You don’t know what you want.” Spider glares at him.

“I heard that,” Fike says, “and while I don’t agree with your dad I will say you're just a kid. You don’t have perspective on things yet. When you're older you’ll look back and be so grateful for all of this. Your dad is a good man. He’s always taken good care of his squad and I know he’ll do even better for you.” Spider said nothing. He bucks against his father’s hand to signal he’s done with the conversation. Quaritch takes the phone and says some parting words with Fike then hangs up.

“Let's have a talk,” dad said, getting on his level. “The unknown is scary and I know you're pretty scared. So I’m gonna lay out the whole plan okay. I’ve been building a place for us in Colorado high up in the mountains. That’s where we’re goin’. We’re gonna live there for a few years just to make sure the heat is off of us but it sounds like no ones really lookin’ for you anyway,” his dad chuckles at this. Spider’s heart sinks, “if you're good we’ll move after that. Find a little farm in a small town to live on. You’ll go to school, make friends. We’ll have a normal life. How’s that sound?”

Crazy, Spider thought, but also picturing the end of his dad’s plan, a normal life. It seemed really nice. “What if I don’t want to go?”

Quaritch sighs, “we’re not negotiating kid. This is what’s happening. You can either get with it or…” he let the implication hang in the air, “come on kiddo what’s the point of fighting it? No one is looking for you. Because no one wants you but me. I’m offering y’a a good home with a father that loves y’a. So what do y’a think tiger? You want the easy way or the hard way?”

Spider doesn’t have to think for long. The truth of his father’s words settle into his stomach like a stone. No one wants me. No one cares. It’d be better for everyone if he just went with his dad. “the easy way,” he answers sadly, tears pricking at his eyes.

His dad gives him a bright soft eyed smile and ruffles his hair, “that’s my boy.” Then he holds his arms open, “bring it in.” Spider hesitates. He can count on one hand the amount of times he’s been hugged in his life and the thought of getting one makes him uncomfortable. But his dad is looking at him expectantly. So he awkwardly hugs him back. The moment he’s in his arms Quaritch wraps him up in a bear hug. For Spider it’s really nice and he finds himself melting into the hold. When he’s set down his dad says, “Now go get dressed. They’re servin’ breakfast downstairs. We’ll eat then hit the road.”

Spider’s duffel bag is in the corner. It’s the same one he’s had for years. He never really unpacks it so it wouldn’t have been hard for Fike to put in the few items Spider had taken out then slip it into the car to later hand off to Quaritch. Seeing it makes him sad but he comforts himself by thinking, this is the last time I’ll have to live out of a suitcase. When we get home I’ll actually unpack it. He’s still unsure of all of this. This whole situation is just insane and the emotional whiplash he’s had over the past twenty four hours is overwhelming. At the same time though the hope of finally having a home, a chance at a normal life, makes him giddy.

He dresses then goes into the bathroom to brush his teeth. His dad follows him, wetting a comb to attack Spider’s wild mane of curls. The boy gives him an annoyed glare in the mirror. Quaritch isn’t even paying attention as he neatly parts and brushes the hair back, the curly strands just touching the collar of his shirt. Spider scowls at his reflection. He looked like he was about to be forced to go to church. His father sees this and sighs, “yeah I know. Maybe there’s a barbershop we can swing by real quick and get this mess taken care of.”

“What!” The alarm in Spider’s voice is unmistakable.

“What? Why’d y’a make that face then?”

“Because you made me look like a dork!”

Dad looks surprised and maybe even a little hurt, “I did the best I could…”

“Who asked you too! I like my hair how it is!”

“Pff, how could you like having hair this long. You're a boy with hair like a girl.”

“And that’s bad because?”

“Because boys are supposed to have short hair and girls have long hair.”

“If that’s true then why doesn’t my hair just stop growing at a certain length? Or how come girls aren’t born with long hair?”

Dad groans, “you're too smart to play this dumb. You know what I mean.”

“No I don’t.”

“It’s just what’s right!”

“Says who?”

“Says me!”

“But why?”

“Because you look homeless!”

“But I’m not and I like my hair like this.”

“Well I say you're getting it cut!”

“But why?”

“Because I said! I’m your father, you do what I say!”

“That’s not a good answer. That’s just what adults say when they don’t have a good reason, they just want to force you to do what you don’t want.” His dad growls in frustration and storms off, leaving Spider to laugh at him as he leaves.

Quaritch tells himself that his son is just going through a phase. The boy will eventually get tired of his long locs and want them gone. After he takes a moment to calm down he yells back, “fine wear it however y’a like. But you’re taking care of it! If it starts gettin’ all matted and dirty I’m cutting it off y’a hear me!”

“Sir yes sir,” Spider says, brimming from his victory.

They walk down to breakfast, Spider still made to hold his father’s hand so he can’t run away. Now that they’ve calmed down they actually have a nice time together talking and joking around. Then they hit the road again. His dad starts telling him all sorts of stories. Stories about Spider’s mom, about his time in the military. “….my call sign was Papa Dragon. We used to….”

“I’ve heard you call yourself papa,” Spider interrupts.

Quaritch looks incredibly confused, “well yeah. I’m your papa.”

“You're my dad. Papa sounds weird.”

Quaritch seems hurt by this, “it’s not weird. And it’s what I want you to call me.”

“Well I want you to call me Spider and you don’t do that.”

Dad rolls his eyes, “because your name is Miles….”

“But you don’t even use it all the time. Sometimes you call me Junior. Which is a nickname. Like Spider.”

“Well then I’ll use your nickname Junior.”

“Okay dad.�� Both father and son simmer in their anger for a moment before Spider yells, “what’s wrong with Spider!”

“It’s a bug! A pathetic bug!”

“Well your nickname is an imaginary animal so…”

“Papa dragon is a call sign not a nickname.”

“What’s the difference?” His dad has no answer for that. Later on they make one last stop at a gas station before getting to the mountain. Spider runs ahead of his dad, desperately needing the bathroom after hours in the car. “Spider,” dad calls after him, “slow down! Wait for me!” Hearing his dad use his chosen name makes Spider stop short in surprise. When his dad catches up to him he smiles at him and ruffles his hair. Spider feels warm inside.

The trip up the mountain is long and difficult. Both father and son have as much as they can carry strapped to their backs. Everything else is secured to a wheeled cart that Quaritch tethers around his waist to pull like a sled dog. Spider enjoys climbing the different cliff faces and for the first few hours he’s loving it, especially after all the hours spent in the car. But at a certain point the boy gets tired. His dad carries him during the stretches of walking before they reach the next cliff to climb. When the sun starts to set they make camp for the night. They have a bonfire, roasting hot dogs and marshmallows. They stargaze, the sky mesmerizing Spider. He’s never seen so many stars in his life. The beauty of his surroundings makes him feel a peace he’s never known before, a smile coming to face as he thinks, this is my home now.

Around noon the next day they finally reach the cabin. On the outside it looks super cozy and inviting. There’s a huge garden out front that’s starting to burst with spring fruits and vegetables. A woodworking table is off to the side ready for the next project. And there'll be a lot more projects because when they go inside, the place is nearly empty. The plumbing is hooked up so the kitchen sink and everything in the bathroom works. The kitchen counter tops are built but there’s no stove or fridge. There’s a fireplace in the living room but absolutely nothing else. But when his dad shows him his room it’s nearly done. There’s a wardrobe, writing desk, end table by the bed. The only thing missing is that the bed frame doesn’t have a mattress on it. “When summer kicks off my squad will come up and help us finish this place quick,” dad says, “one of my men will fly a chopper up here with everythin’ we can’t make ourselves. In the meantime though we’ll work on it.”

“We” is really just Quaritch though. He has Spider watch him woodwork sometimes but he never lets him handle anything not wanting his son to get hurt. He mostly sends Spider off to play. As long as he comes back for meals then Quaritch is never worried. Since neither of their bedrooms can be slept in, father and son typically camp outside at night and Spider loves it. If it’s raining they set up their sleeping bags in the living room, his dad lighting the fireplace.

Spider doesn’t hate it at the cabin. It’s a little lonely with just his dad but Spider is also used to being alone so the feeling doesn’t bother him for long. His dad is really kind to him and it all feels so normal and right. Spider typically forgets the circumstances that brought them there and imagines they’re just a normal father and son on a summer camping trip.

It’s the start of June when their first visitor shows up. Uncle Lyle. He brings with him a ton of stuff from Quaritch’s old house. Mostly family keepsakes. Spider’s smiling the entire time as him and his dad hang pictures of the times before Spider’s mom’s murder. His dad tells him the story behind every one. Even without furniture the living room starts to feel more like home.

Next to show is Mansk bringing with him a backpack incubator full of chicken eggs. After a few days Spider watches them hatch. He loves taking care of the chicks and watching them grow. His dad says they’ll eat them one day but Spider vehemently protests.

Then Auntie Z shows up with more supplies and a border collie puppy. Spider is ecstatic but his dad is pissed. He can’t say no to Spider though, knowing that he’d break his son’s heart. So Cupcake, as Spider names her, stays. One by one the squad appears bringing with them all sorts of things. Little by little the cabin goes from empty and echoing, to homey and cozy. Then the helicopter shows up, filled with living room furniture, kitchen appliances, a ham radio, an old t.v and plenty of other odds and ends to complete the place. Prager is the pilot but Fike is riding with. Fike is definitely nervous to see Spider again after what he did but is quickly put at ease when Spider runs up to him and gives him a hug. “Thanks for everything Uncle Fike.”

Fike hugs him back, “anything for you kid.” The squad spends the whole day putting the house in order and the whole night having a party to celebrate.

Spider and Quaritch stay in the cabin for all of Spider’s middle school years. They have typical father son spats every once in a while when Spider doesn’t clean his room, or pick up after his dog, things like that. Most of the time though they’re really happy. Quaritch goes all out for every holiday and birthday, making sure Spider feels happy, special and loved. They have school five times a week but Spider doesn’t hate it the way he hated public school since the lessons are all tailored to his learning needs.

Over the years Spider becomes bedridden twice, one due to illness, the other time from a pretty big growth spurt that left him in so much pain he could barely move. When he was sick his dad was never far from his side, giving him medicine when he needed it, getting him ice packs to cool his burning forehead, making him chicken noodle soup that Spider barely had an appetite for. Spider was so miserable that even though he felt too old for it (he was about to turn twelve) he asked his dad to hold him. Quaritch was more than happy to oblige. Spider was still a little awkward about accepting physical affection so for him to ask for it felt like a huge step forward.

When Spider recovered a week later his hair is all matted up in the back and it makes him feel sick all over again knowing that his dad is going to cut it. It was the longest he’s ever grown it too, just passed his shoulders. When he tries to brush out all the knots himself the comb breaks and gets stuck. When his dad sees him though he doesn’t go for the scissors instead sitting Spider down in the living room to try and work through it. Quaritch gets most of it untangled but they do have to snip out a piece of the comb. To Spider though it’s no big deal. He’s just too happy with his dad’s change of heart.

Spider is thirteen when he has a major growth spurt making him ache all over to the point he can’t get out of bed. The same thing happened to Quaritch when he was that age so he’s not too concerned though he does call Ja and explains what’s happening just to be sure. His dad brings the tv into Spider’s room to keep him entertained through the pain. Quaritch attempts to braid Spider’s hair so it doesn’t get all tangled. It’s sloppy but it does help protect his curls. His dad brings him heat pads, massages his painful limbs, and makes him epsom salt soaks. It all helps a lot. Spider can’t even imagine how he would have gotten through it if he was still in the system.

The summer before Spider’s freshman year of high school it’s decided that it’s time to move. Following his growth spurt Spider looks a lot different, significantly taller with less baby fat on his cheeks. Even if Spider’s missing person poster were to get all the way across the country it’d be hard to recognize him. So the family finds a little old ranch about an hour's drive from the mountain and twenty minutes away from the closest town. Team Deja Blue once again helps them move. They get the place remodeled, start up a new garden that’s more of a mini farm, and get some more livestock - a dairy cow, some goats, a horse and a barn cat that was only adopted to be a mouser but Spider takes her into the house. His dad disapproves but by this point Spider knows he has his dad wrapped around his finger and simply has to flash his puppy dog eyes and beg a little for the cat to stay inside. The cat and Cupcake both sleep in Spider’s bed and Spider thinks it’s the best thing ever.

Spider thinks school is okay. He learned more being homeschooled but he does get to make friends now. The town is so small that there isn’t a lot to do other than go to school football games and party. Spider goes to the football games even though he doesn’t care about them. He just has a good time with his friends. His dad will let him go to parties as long as there’s no drinking or drugs. “I will drug test you in a heartbeat Miles Quaritch jr if I even smell any of that shit on you and that’s a promise! You read me?”

Spider mock salutes, “yes sir.” So he mostly hangs out in basements playing video games and watching stupid movies or bumming around parking lots skateboarding.

Quaritch has plenty of money. Before having a wife and child he really had nothing to spend his paychecks on. He was never a frivolous spender and never took vacations and so all that money just went into his savings. Following his wife’s death he was awarded quite a large settlement though it felt like an insult that the court could put a price on her life and pretend like that made everything okay. Collectively Quaritch was a millionaire, and he had all of that money hidden in cash around the house in fire proof safes. They didn’t need to work another day in their lives but that didn’t mean Quaritch wouldn’t. And he most definitely would make Spider work. That’s a big reason why he bought a small farm and not a house closer to town. It was a constant job for both father and son.

They both love it though. Spider loves being outside, taking care of the plants and animals. Quaritch feels at peace when he’s working the land. On the weekends they go to the farmers market to sell their excess produce. Spider insists that whatever doesn’t sell gets taken to the local food pantry. It’s an hour drive away but Quaritch doesn’t mind, too proud of his kindhearted son to ever say no.

This is how they live until Spider’s junior year when a new family moves to town. The Sully family. Their eldest son Neteyam had been nearly killed when some dumb kid trying to be cool brought a gun to school. The kid wasn’t planning on using it, he was just showing it off trying to look like a badass when it miss fired, shooting Neteyam in the chest. By some miracle the bullet just missed his heart. Doctors still weren’t sure he would make it initially but he pulled through. Even months later though he still wasn’t 100% but he was getting stronger every day. Following all that the family just couldn’t stay there. Too many bad memories. So they started over on the other side of the country in the middle of nowhere.

Spider became fast friends with all of them. Neteyam had skipped a grade so was in most of Spider’s gen eds. Quaritch pushes Spider to be in all honors and advanced placement classes. The workload drives him nuts but him and Neteyam become study buddies. It really helps them get through it. Spider takes every art class he possibly can and so does Kiri. The two are instant best friends. You would have thought they’d know each other their whole lives. Spider doesn’t share classes with Lo’ak. The younger Sully brother sits with them at lunch and once again Spider and him become best friends. They mainly hang out after school, skateboarding in the parking lot and getting up to some light trouble.

The adults don’t really know about these friendships. Of course the kids talk to their parents about each other but Quaritch would never think that his son’s best friends are the children of his worst enemy. Jake is a little more suspicious. He remembers his best friend Norm being a social worker for a boy nicknamed Spider. Norm had told them a lot about him and Jake and Neytiri had even talked about fostering the kid themselves. But then he’d run away never to be found. Norm had alway suspected that something was up, believing that Spider would never just disappear like that. Now it had been five years without a trace of him.

There was no way this was the same kid though. From what Jake knew this Spider was a farm boy living on a ranch with his dad. His mom had passed away when he was little, a fact that he and Kiri had bonded over. From everything he’d heard Spider sounded like a really good kid, though he had yet to meet him. Maybe we should invite him and his dad over for dinner. It would be good for the families to get to know each other.

So yeah maybe I have a part 5 in me at some point. We’ll see. As always I love hearing from people so let me know what you think!

Showing my tiny Spider-Man shrine because why not? I just love it. And yes Miguel has an Eevee in his lap, his new buddy. 🥺❤️

Also, I want to tell you guys how I got most of this stuff because…I don’t know just want to. I want people to get to know me or something like that.

I found that Peter figure at a playground. No one was there to get him back so I thought fuck it and took him home. And sometimes his arm falls off but oh well, I still love him the way he is. I just call him little homeless Peter ever since.

I got the plushie from a friend as a Christmas gift recently, and way back then I got the Lego car and that little Miles figure as well from that friend. And the mug was given by my bf ❤️.

That tiny Miles figure is from the cinema cup I bought when we went to the premier with my bf. That was the best day of my life, because the premier in Hungary was on the same day as my birthday, June 1st.

I got the Spider-Man 2099 comic at a tiny comic festival which was held in the city I live in. It’s actually translated into Hungarian and I love this comic a lot because it has that iconic Gabriel art in it with the big ass gun. My second best boy.

And the Miguel O’Hara figure was purchased by me. Because I really loved that figure so I got it.

This little shrine is very important to me, it holds many great memories.

5 Non-MCU Characters I'd love to see in Deadpool & Wolverine

Superbowl Sunday saw the return of everyones favorite Merc with a Mouth Deadpool in the trailer for his upcoming new movie Deadpool & Wolverine.

And as usual, Marvel hooked me.

Some fans have seen it as a return to form for the MCU, others as business as usual for Ryan Reynolds, and some just couldn't get over the little bit of Wolverine we got.

Myself, I was mainly focused on one thing. Aaron Stanford.

For those not in the know, this clip from the trailer shows Aaron Stanford returning as minor villain and asshole Pyro from the original X-Men Films. He was a sidekick to Magneto, and has a rivalry with Iceman in those movies.

The return of Pyro from the X-Men films confirms what most fans expected: we will see old heroes and villains from the Fox era, not just Wolverine.

And while a few have been already revealed through casting news or set photos, there are plenty more in store for us, I'm sure.

This got my head gears turning, so I decided I'd look back on the old Fox films to see who I want to return, even for the briefest moment or cameo.

None of these have been confirmed officially, so you are spoiler free from here on out. But I must warn, once I put this ideas in your head, you may be mad if they don't show up.

5. Animated Deadpool Voiced by Donald Glover

*sigh* The project I wish existed.

In 2017, Donald Glover was in development and given the green light on an animated Deadpool show. The show was to premiere on FX in 2018. However, for unknown reasons it was cancelled, and never debuted, leaving fans and Donald Glover displeased.

After the success of films like Spider-Verse, and Glovers involvement with Marvel, having him come in for a scene where he fights with or against Ryan Reynolds Deadpool could be a fun nod to the fans and maybe give the project the boost it needs to somehow come back.

But alas, I'm still hoping Spider-Verse will bring back Spectacular Spider-Man, so what do I know?

4. X-23

If there is a character ripe for a spin-off from the old X-Men universe, it was definitely X-23.

It's surprising to me she hasn't been revealed as a main member of the cast. She's a character I think few people talk about anymore, but was a crucial part of the film. I'd say Logan is up there and one of the best superhero movies.

Dafne Keen and Hugh Jackman made Logan such an impactful moving film. I'd love to see where the character has gone since Logan, and see how them reuniting effects the film.

Not to mention if she fought Deadpool, it would be one hell of a good (and kind of funny ) fight.

3. Apocalypse

Do I like this character? Absolutely not.

Do I want him here just for the Moon Knight jokes? Yes.

I actually think theres a good Apocalypse in Oscar Isaac somewhere. Having Deadpool and Wolverine at one point face the X-Men's Thanos sounds pretty cool, and Isaac is a great comedic and dramatic performer who deserves another shot.

I wouldn't mind a CGI version that looks more comic accurate, like Beast in the Marvels.

But again. I really just want Deadpool to say "So are you Steven or Marc?"

2. The Human Torch

Similarly, I want the Captain America jokes.

But if there's one thing we can all agree on, it's that Human Torch was by far the best part of those Fantastic Four movies.

There's just so many things you can do with it!

We can have him in the frosted tips, in a new Fantastic Four uniform. Maybe even have him fight Pyro, stop a fire guy with a fire guy. Or have him come out from behind a train like Captain America in Infinity War, but it's Johnny.

Having Evans play across Reynolds even for a bit would make so many fans happy and get more cheers then No Way Home.

Besides Evans has done a cameo in a Shawn Levy film starring Ryan Reynolds once. He can do it again.

1. Legion

The rumored main villain of this film tends to have a very particular vendetta with Charles Xavier. So why not use his son to acquire power?

Legion is the acclaimed show from Noah Hawley starring Dan Stevens as David Haller, a mutant with schizophrenia and basically unlimited power.

Dan Stevens is incredible in this show, and I think bringing in such a powerful X-Men character would make for some fun interactions and extreme stakes. Not to mention the insane visuals, all while delving deep into the psyche of both are protagonists.

While I doubt all of these characters show up, if one or two do, I'd be extremely happy. We'll just have to wait and see.

Deadpool & Wolverine is set to feature some unexpected reunions aside from the titular characters. One of them was just revealed in the final trailer, as Dafne Keen was officially confirmed to return.

Keen played Laura/X-23 in 2017's Logan, and she will reunite with Hugh Jackman after seven years in the upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine. Following the news, Hugh Jackman just shared a "now and then" post on Instagram, showing a selfie of him and Dafne Keen and also a video of the two from Logan. The actress was 11 when she starred in the superhero film.

Two days ago, following the release of the news, Keen posted a photo of the comic character saying, "I want them to see the Wolverine coming." She tagged the upcoming film, writing, "Let’s f*cking gooooo!" Jackman liked the photo, sharing the same sentiment as Keen's caption in the comments.

Rumors about Keen's return to the superhero world started last September. However, the actress played coy when asked about her participation in Deadpool & Wolverine. "What goes through your head is, first of all, how cool that something is that big that it seeps and it bleeds into other projects," she replied when asked whether she was in the film. She noted "how cool it is that I got to be a part of something that had such a huge legacy that, almost 10 years later, I'm still being asked about, and that just feels pretty huge." Rather shockingly, the ever-secretive Marvel Studios decided to give away the secret of Laura's return in the film's final trailer.

Dafne Keen Credited an MCU Actor for Keeping the Marvel Secret

Marvel is famous for trying to keep many secrets and allowing fans to discover them in theaters. Many actors spoke about the pressure of keeping secrets, and some, like Mark Ruffalo and Tom Holland, often fail not to spill the key elements in the films. Others, like Andrew Garfield, could write a PhD on keeping secrets.

Speaking about keeping her cameo in Deadpool & Wolverine secret, Dafne Keen noted, "I had a great time keeping it secret. I had to do a bunch of press for a job that I just finished," Keen explained, referring to her role on The Acolyte, where she plays the Jedi Jecki. "I got asked in every interview, and I just got to lie, which was really funny."

She also credited Andrew Garfield for inspiring her to keep the secret. The actor appeared in 2021's Spider-Man: No Way Home after repeatedly denying his involvement in the film. "All the inspo comes from Andrew Garfield," Keen says. "He is the master at this."

Keen is far from the only actress to cameo in the highly-anticipated superhero film but fans will have to wait until Deadpool & Wolverine comes out in theaters worldwide on July 26 to find out who else will be joining the Merc with a Mouth and Wolverine.
