Woke up to Larry gone. My brother is still sleeping in the livingroom, though, so I have to assume Larry has done a Dissapearing Act, and my brother is never gonna step foot in his room again 😄😅😆

This gentleman is Larry. The picture doesnt do him justice but he's about 4 inches wide (maybe 5 if he stretched), and he's living above my brothers bed. I woke up to my brother asleep on the couch in the living room this morning XD

OKAY, PIDW-MONSTER TALKING: what would you find more creepy:

a) A hairy, gnawing spider that gnaws wood for replenish their "silk" reserves by making silk from wooden threads that can be used for multiple purposes. The spider is generally the size of an adult hand, but it can change size.

b) A spider that appears to be made entirely of wood; it lays silk eggs from which hundreds of tiny, impossible-to-kill (only with fire) spiders hatch, made entirely of silk. These silk spiders gnaw wood like termites to feed and grow like hundreds of wood spiders.

Behold! My latest d&d character, a drider lady by the name of Genius Weisheit IV!

She wields a sniper rifle, has adorable heart shades, and has a drinking problem...specifically a coffee drinking problem!

Her name literally translates to "Genius Wisdom", and it's great because she's got an impressive Wisdom score of 9!

...Her intelligence is 19, though, so at least there's that!

Chaos Is A Ladder 3 / ?

Trigger Warnings: Manipulation, disturbing themes, gore, and use of hallucinogens.

-) Spider intercepted a secure RDA transmission and subtly rewrote a single command line. A squadron of soldiers received what appeared to be a legitimate emergency evacuation protocol, only it redirected them into an area filled with sturmbeest herds in heat. The aggressive animals trampled half the squad, while the survivors stumbled back to base bloodied, grieving, confused, and enraged. When questioned, each soldier blamed a different officer for the order. Spider left behind a fabricated message log to further implicate the squad leader in intentional sabotage. Almost immediately, the base unraveled with suspicions of corruption and internal assassinations.

-) One time, Spider poisoned a small water reserve using a hallucinogenic compound that the scientists back at Hell's Gate extracted from Pandoran plants. Over a dozen RDA grunts began experiencing vivid hallucinations. Some saw burning forests, others relived moments of battle trauma, and some saw dead squadmates. One officer opened fire on his own team, convinced they were Na’vi in disguise. Spider waited until just enough died, then slipped in during the chaos to steal some intel. By sunrise, the entire base was dead.

-) Spider used Pandora itself as a weapon. He tricked a patrol into a dense area known for its reactive plant life. Then he played Na’vi chants at a distance to give the illusion of being surrounded. They panicked, ran into traps Spider had set: tripwires, sleeping darts, hallucinogenic pollen. One soldier died clawing out his own eyes. Another tried to climb a banshee nest for safety and was torn apart. The rest were never found.

-) Spider created a fake handwritten diary, claiming to be from a dead RDA scientist who had grown disillusioned with the military and had attempted to aid the Na’vi. He left it behind in a newly made base. When it was found, it sparked a division within the science team. Some saw it as heroic, others a betrayal. One of the junior researchers, inspired by the false diary, tried to smuggle weapons to a Na’vi group. She was caught and executed, which sparked tensions between the soldiers and the scientists that soon erupted into violent physical altercations that ended with one of the scientists mistakenly unleashing a chemical gas that blinded everyone.

-) At another base, Spider found out about a soldier’s scheduled birthday celebration, a surprise arranged by his squadmates. Spider, posing as a courier, delivered a case of “synthetic beer.” It was laced with a mix of Pandoran spores and low-level neurotoxins. The celebration descended into hallucinations and paranoia within an hour. One soldier gouges out his friend’s eyes with his thumbs, convinced he was wearing another’s skin. Another jumped from a high tower, thinking he was flying. By sunrise, the camp was a slaughterhouse. Spider took one souvenir: a party hat, sparkly and blood-soaked. Happy Birthday, Jimmy.

More sgraffitoed medaillons! Here are 1) bugs, invertebrates, reptiles, amphibians, and creatures with too many legs or not enough hair, and 2) artificial stuff.

Plus a couple variations on the same pattern. I'm not quite sure the two stylizations of pillbugs and the ladybugs should count as the same pattern, but I'm not sure either they shouldn't.

arachnophobia

arachnophobia is the most socially acceptable mental illness to leave completely untreated and unaddressed. if you cant look at or be in the same room as a spider and want to kill it for no reason get some fucking therapy. im not trigger warning fucking nature, thats stupid. im seriously not about entertaining arachnophobes. spiders are everywhere, you do not own any space.

this phobia is at its stupidest in the uk. there are no dangerous spiders to justify any kind of fear. yet we allow arachnophobes to just impose their fear onto everyone? i love spiders, and i still harbour some irrational concerns. you know why? because arachnophobes create arachnophobes. we as a society permit this debilitating disease to spread because its okay to hate an animal if its a bit spooky! fuck off!!!!!!!!!! fuck! off! i hate everyone who accepts this as something that doesnt need to be fucking fixed or at least addressed in some way. ARACHNOPHOBES GET SOME FUCKING HELP PLEASE
