Okay, hear me out!

Bucky has to work through all the trauma and memory stuff from being the winter soldier for so long. But also has to work through being gay in this new century. Lots has been written about these things.

But I have this headcanon that Bucky would get really into Lucky Love’s song Masculinity. Like, it would really speak to his issues around being gay, being masculine, expectations in the past vs today, his memory issues, being hurt by people, body image issues with his scars and arm. Plus Lucky Love only has one arm! I just can’t help seeing Bucky absolutely vibing to this song!

Not only the lyrics, but the music video! I would like to think that Bucky comes across the song without the visual, on a streaming app or on TikTok or even the radio or something, and he's hit in the fucking gut by the lyrics but then he sees the video and he, he's... he's speechless. Not only do the lyrics scrape against his bones, they know him too well, understanding him, but the visuals do too (particularly 0:36-1:10), and, as if that's not enough, the way the artist represents him. Embodying him. An amputee existing and making art and taking up space in their own way.

(Also, ngl, I didn't read the entire ask, just the first sentence and paragraph before going to check out that song (I was excited, lol) and I was on the FLOOR when that shot of Lucky Love with a prosthetic appeared. It's too perfect for Bucky. Oh, baby, he would be inconsolable in the best way--complete catharsis.)

This is another 911/Marvel crossover I'm playing with. Currently the only ship I'm set on for sure is Phil Coulson/Clint Barton. I also don't know how to count.

"What happened to you being the one with it together and I'm the walking disaster?" snarked a voice from the doorway of Buck's hospital room. He looked up in surprise at the voice.

"Clint? What are you doing here? How did you even manage it with all the mess? Isn't there some evil guy to stop from destroying the world?" he tried moving to face Clint better and winced slightly.

"Yeah, well I had to check on the baby Agent that felt it would be a good idea to try fighting a Tsanumi. Something not even Thor does." Moving quickly Clint helped adjust Buck's position with minial pain. Clint was no stranger to similiar injuries. "Did the head injury make you forget the rescources I have at my fingertips?"

"You mean the resources I have at my fingertips and allow you to use on very rare occasissions?" A man in meticlous suit that both drew the eye but also made you write him off as not a threat entered the room giving Buck a smile even as Clint pouted. "Good to see you mostly in one piece Mr Buckley."

"Hey, Phil, it's good to see you too. Even if you had to bring him with you."

Clint sticks his tongue out at Buck while Phil hid a small smile.

My 2018… well, it has been full of ups and downs, adventures and unexpected turns. Anyway, I like to remember the little things, the moments. YES! :D 

Actually if seasoned properly it tastes mainly of curry and cayenne. :) The potato is thickener and the almond butter makes it creamy. (You can make almost any soup better with a few spoonfuls of nut butter.)

I have. I tried a couple, and I've tried some general online courses a few years ago through my old university. But I always have more trouble with them. I like the interaction of classrooms and the discussions and weird tangents you can get off on. Not to mention, I would LOVE to have a reason to get out of the house and socialize with people. Being a hermit gets tiring after 3+ years.
