It's been 9 years since I've opened commissions but my computer is 7 years old and losing her will to live and will not survive Dawntrail so!!

$100 USD painted portraits with up to 1 additional character for an added charge of $80 (totaling $180)

Full disclosure: I'm aiming for at least $2k and I don't know if I'm going to take a handful of these and close and come back with a better methodology and pricing or just keep doing these. I am developing as I go. Suffice it to say, between that and the unknown that is how long I can spend working on each comm, if I choose to do yours it might take me awhile to get to it. The plan is to send a message to chosen applicants to confirm you're still interested/have the money before sending the invoice, just in case. So please keep that in mind.

My terms are listed on the google form but to reiterate and elaborate on some points:

NOT First Come, First Serve so take your time when you're filling out the form because I'm going off both interest and which are best communicated and thus easiest for me to do.

I will be requiring visual references this time to work. They don't need to be terribly detailed but enough that I can finagle face depth for different facial features. This can be as simple as a picrew and a faceclaim, I don't mind.

My duo example is actually not a portrait but a full painting so keep in mind that heads in actual commissioned pieces will be kept more in line with each other regardless of height.

Backstory ~

Denebola never really liked humans empowered or not and she didn't understand how other daemons could grow to live with them.

however, at a more mature age, she was given a charge. it was uncommon however she was unaware it was requested by her steward.

The charge was a little girl named Drianne, she was gravely sick and wasn't expected to live past the age of 10.

Denebola would feed on her feelings of misery and sadness. while providing her with feeling of joy and serenity.

little did Denebola know the girl could see her. She found this out at the girl's 7th birthday. Drianne ran over and gave her a hug thanking her for the happy emotions and making her feel better in her sad situation.

and as she watched Drianne grow her distaste for humans changed.

By Driannes 14th she could no longer see Denebola; and because of that Denebola decided she was no longer needed. however, Drianne had one more gift for Denebola.

the nickname Dria.

Denebola was surprised by the act, and well that act changed her view of humans. and with that, she went to work at the department. she wanted to help kids like Drianne.

of course, when she went to work there she used the name Dria instead of her name given to her. She was proud to be a Starchild yes.. But Dria meant more.

Murakami family is one of the few Yakuza families that Tsuna has encountered in the mafia world. Unlike many other families, Murakami do not have a clear connection to Italian mafia, which means that having their young bosses meet could be beneficial for both sides, as predicted by Reborn. Murakami serve as additional characters that help Tsuna expand his understanding of the mafia world beyond what he already knows and add variety to his already unpredictable daily life.

3. What does your oc look like? Do you have any art of them? Picrew also welcomed! Ai art... Not preferred >:/

4. What are their relationships to other khr characters? Pairings you like with your oc? Adopted siblings and parents maybe?

Ichiro: It is evident that Ichiro shares a close relationship with Tsuna and frequently spends time with his inner circle. Ichiro's sociable and communicative nature is well-known to many at school and this includes Tsuna who sees him as a supportive and experienced senior who gives him guidance on life within the mafia (which makes his life more chaotic at times). Additionally, Ichiro has a good relationship with Yamamoto as he frequently assists various clubs in their activities.

Nadeko: Like Ichiro, she is a popular student in school because of her image as a perfect and impeccable student. She interacts frequently with the main cast, although she doesn't necessarily enjoy it. Nadeko appeals to younger children like Lambo and I-Pin because she is kind to them, and she also faces Hibari, who is one of the few people who can see beyond her facade as a diligent student. It's as if she is a predator masquerading as a herbivore.

Itsuki: Itsuki regularly interacts with the main cast primarily due to his relationship with Ichiro and Nadeko. He occupies a middle ground because he typically does not openly initiate communication and has difficulty expressing himself compared to the other siblings. While he doesn't have much interaction with Tsuna, he has formed a bond with Haru, first meeting her through Tsuna. Itsuki shows a knack for interacting with children, particularly Futa, and he likely engages with them more than with others.

5. Actually what's the family situation of your oc? Do they have siblings that's a background character perhaps? (example: sometimes I give Kusakabe Tetsuya a brother)

From their last name, it is clear that the three of them are siblings who share a less than ideal family situation. Raised by babysitters, tutors, and occasionally by their grandfather, their parents are either deceased or disinterested in their well-being. Among all their caretakers, Ryo, their current caretaker and literally everything else, in Namimori, is the most normal. Their grandfather did a fine job as a Boss, but as a parent, he is horrible. The only commendable thing he did was sending them to Namimori to experience a relatively normal life. Unfortunately, this didn't quite work out as intended.

6. Does your oc have a mental illness? Neurodivergencies? Other disabilities? At what age did they get these disabilities if they weren't born with them?

....Yes.... they have..... hahahahahaha.... Let's move on to the next question, otherwise if i take this one apart it's going to take a bunch of time

7. If they had a super power what would it be?

Tough question, there are a lot of superpowers I could give them..... Well, let's say:

Ichiro: Magma Manipulation

Nadeko: Flower Petal Manipulation

Itsuki: Telepathy

KHR Specific Questions

1. What's their flames? And how many flames do they have? One? More? None?

Ichiro: Sky Flame

Nadeko: Storm Flame (predominant); Sky Flame

Itsuki: Mist Flame

2. How do they use their flames? If they have one.

Ichiro and Nadeko infuse it into their weapons, but Itsuki lacked any conventional weaponry. In the future, he would rely more heavily on illusions. He may not be a professional illusionist, but the potential for growth is there.

3. If they don't have a flame, how do they fight? Do they fight at all?

Ichiro: He is proficient with the naginata and can swiftly adapt to using any available long stick as a substitute. However, his skills are not limited to weapons alone; he also excels in hand-to-hand combat, delivering painful blows with precision and force.

Nadeko: Although she is skilled in self-defense techniques, Nadeko's preference is to wield her cherished katana as her primary choice of weapon.

Itsuki: Among his siblings, Itsuki is the least combat-oriented. He only possesses basic self-defense skills, and lacks conventional weapons. In a critical situation, he may have to rely on his quick-wittedness in hopes of evading danger until help arrives.

4. If they can't fight for any reason, what's their preferred method of self defense?

Ichiro: Fight till the bitter end! He embraces the art of never giving up, and is willing to risk himself, even down to the last drop of blood. For him, giving up is not an option!

Nadeko: If she recognizes that her chances of winning are slim, she will attempt to extricate herself from the conflict with any means necessary. Winning is also an option if the situation allows. In the end, it all depends on the circumstances at play.

Itsuki: Prior to developing his illusion-based abilities, Itsuki is generally not inclined towards conflict and will typically avoid engaging in fights whenever possible. However, if the situation truly requires it, he may stand his ground and make use of his wits in an attempt to gain the upper hand.

KHR Character Questions:

1. How much does Tsuna want to protect your oc upon first meeting them? After knowing them a minute, is Tsuna now scared of them or worried about them?

Upon first meeting these three, Tsuna would likely exhibit a desire to shield them from the dark side of the mafia due to their unfortunate circumstances. Following a brief interaction, however, his perception of them would swiftly evolve. He would come to trust and respect Ichiro as a reliable senior, albeit someone who occasionally loses restraint. Nadeko would invoke both awe and fear in Tsuna sometimes, while Itsuki would be seen more as a calm and friendly individual.

2. Does Reborn think they're pathetic or does he have a slight respect for them? If he suddenly appeared out of a wall-hole, how would your oc react?

Ichiro: He has all the qualities that a good boss needs, and is able to help Tsuna grow. However, he still has room to grow and learn.

Nadeko: Takes on more than she can handle. A little pathetic.

Itsuki: Has a lot of opportunities for development and growth. Could become an important figure in the mafia world if he wanted to.

3. Would Hibari Kyoya be able to stand being in a room with them for five minutes? How long do they last in a fight against him?

Ichiro: He’s a pretty outgoing guy, but very aware of which people he shouldn't touch. But he'd love to get into a fight with Hibari. Unfortunately for the rest.

Nadeko: It's Nadeko, not Hibari, who probably couldn't stand it. He sees right through her, which annoys Nadeko quite a bit and he tries his best to provoke her into a fight. Nadeko holds out, but very poorly.

Itsuki: They just sit in silence.

4. Would your oc go off rambling about crytids with Gokudera? If yes, which is their fave cryptid?

Ichiro: Knows about cryptids from Miyako. Has no idea what it is, but would love to hear about it! Again.

Nadeko: No, Nadeko isn't really interested in that, and she and Gokudera have a... Strained relationship.

Itsuki: Not only due to his connection to Miyako, but also because of his personal interest, Itsuki proves to be quite adept at discussing and understanding cryptids and urban legends. Though his primary interest lies within Japanese urban lore, he is still eager to engage in conversations about the supernatural and mysterious topics.

5. Would Skull try to flirt with them? Would he score a date? Pity date or genuine interest?

With a date and flirt i think the answer is clear for three of them and it’s no 😭😭😭

6. How loud does your oc cheer when Yamamoto hits a home run? What if the ball hit them?

Ichiro: His overwhelming support for his friends and family could often make others feel awkward due to its enthusiastic and unabashed nature. Whenever Yamamoto took center stage, Ichiro would be right there in the first row, shouting encouragement with fervor and holding up cheering placards. Will the ball hit him? It's okay! He'll catch.

Nadeko: Her approach to supporting her friends, such as Yamamoto, is somewhat more reserved and composed. She prefers to offer her regards and well wishes beforehand and may only engage in mild cheers during the actual event.

Itsuki: Like his sister, Itsuki tends to take a more peaceful approach to supporting others and, in this case, would simply offer his well wishes and observe the game attentively. Loud cheering isn't part of Itsuki's repertoire, and he doesn't always enjoy such events altogether.

7. Would your oc be able to last an hour watching over Lambo, I-pin and Fuuta? What if they all had sugar beforehand?

Ichiro: Of course! Ichiro, being the cheerful and fun-loving individual he is, would happily offer to babysit the little ones. However, the safety and well-being of the children under his care during such an endeavor is another matter.

Nadeko: The kids generally adore Nadeko, but her approach is a bit more disciplined compared to Ichiro. She's less likely to let them do whatever they wish, and Futa and I-Pin can usually be made to listen to her directions. However, Lambo can sometimes be a bit of a wild card, causing some difficulties when it comes to keeping him under control.

Itsuki: Indeed, Itsuki would also take part in entertaining and engaging with the children, with Futa especially taking a particular liking to him. He has a knack for finding activities to keep them occupied, even managing to engage the excitable Lambo in something other than causing mischief.

8. What food would Sawada Nana cook for your oc? What's their favourite food? Drink?

Ichiro: His relationship with spice is quite remarkable — he enjoys food that's so fiery it challenges even the strongest stomach. If you find your meal for him isn't spicy enough, don't worry! He carries his beloved hot sauce everywhere, ready to add an extra kick to any dish. Interestingly, the only exception is sweets — those Ichiro leaves unadorned with his spicy condiment. So yeah. Poor Tsuna

Nadeko: She harbors a deep affection for traditional Japanese sweets, particularly mochi, dango, and taiyaki. However, she isn't limited to just those options and would happily indulge in sweet cakes or cookies accompanied by a comforting cup of tea.

Itsuki: His true love lies in noodles — he enjoys udon especially, but would also happily consume soba or ramen. His taste isn't restricted to only one type of noodle. Itsuki doesn't have a particularly strong sweet tooth, yet he won't turn down a slice of apple pie. He also loves honey

Friends and mutuals, I am starting a new tag called #MeetMyMoots. Something I see discussed on here a lot is about how Tumblr used to have more actual community, less social-media-ness and I think community is cool and important. And I've been neglecting my Tumblr anyway. I was already making everything so different from ToA that it was practically an alternate universe already: redesigning Merlin, making Merlin and Charlie familiars, adding magical species that weren’t explicitly in canon, completely changing other characters… I still love ToA, but I’m not hyperfixated on it anymore. And that’s okay. I was so scared of letting go for a long time, but I’m happy with my decision.

My wip is now called The King of the Nameless!

Currently, there are five main characters, and tidbits about each of them will be a little further down. (Except for one guy. He sucks.) Their attempted designs will also be down there.

In some aspects, it probably hasn’t changed too much. I’m still basing it off of Arthurian Legends, and Merlin is still the protagonist. But I redesigned him. Again.

The deuteragonist is Charlie; he and Merlin are still familiars. I tried several different names for him, but none of them would stick for him no matter how hard I tried; so Charlie the dragon he stays. But he now has the last name Ambrosius to reflect that he and Merlin are found family as well.

The other three characters in this stage of the story are Igraine, Gorlois, and Uther.

Igraine is Arthur and Morgana’s mother in the Arthurian Legends, (which I did not know at first and was wondering how Arthur and Morgana were half-siblings because they have different fathers…) and will stay the same here. I couldn’t find any official last name for her besides Pendragon from when she marries Uther? (Which is not going to happen here.) So I gave her and her husband the last name “le Fay” to match their daughter!

Gorlois is Igraine’s husband, and like I said, is Morgana’s father. However, unlike some media, he’s not going to be portrayed as a jealous and abusive husband. He’s the epitome of the “I love my wife” guy.

Uther is… a piece of work, to say the least. He’s the character who’s going to have a separate post because of triggering topics that I don’t want in this post.

I’m also going to make a separate post for upcoming characters, which include Nimue, Morgana, Arthur, etc.

Bear with me on lore and designs though please (I’m still working on the lore and I’m not sure if these will be their permanent designs except for Charlie). Some of it might be just random babble until I decide on something 😭 You’ll definitely be able to tell which characters I think about most ahaha.

Anyways, in more good news, I don’t use Artbreeder anymore. I attempt to use Picrews, but sometimes they don’t have everything I want, so I also use character creators from video games. If I could use Baldur’s Gate 3’s, I definitely would, but I’d have to spend like $600-ish to get something to play it on and get the game. 😑 I could also play it with my boyfriend, but our schedules are so busy with both of us working that’s it not really a convenient option.

But there is a game called Dragon’s Dogma, and I’ve been using that one! It’s an older game, so it doesn’t really have many fantasy character options, but it’s good enough for human characters lol. I made Igraine and Gorlois with it, and a few other characters yet to be posted.

Merlin:

This is him at the beginning of TKN! Expect more art of him eventually.

• is still a cambion like in the Arthurian Legends (specifically half-human, half-demon)

• was supposed to be the Anti-Christ (also like in the Legends)

• is also a romance and sex repulsed, non-partnering aroace <3.

• usually excudes a regal, dignified presence, and his preference for flowing outfits helps

• may seem slightly formal with strangers, but on a good day where he can clock their personality, he’ll either warm up to them quickly, or distance himself, depending on the person

• has a strong sense of justice, which also makes him anti-authoritarian for the most part. (unless they’ve actually proven that they’re not just in their position for the power of it, or because of nepotism; and really do want to help people.)

• extremely loyal

• highly empathetic; cries easily

• has a lot of trauma, but is still kind because he’s not going to make people suffer just because he did

• adrenaline junkie in regards to flying with Charlie

• Doesn’t kill if not necessary.

• Is very punctual. If you tell him to come at 5 he’ll be there at 4:30. At most.

Charlie:

• 6' 6" (top of muzzle)

• the marking on his leg is his familiar mark!

• still nice, seems a little rougher around the edges than Merlin

• says the things that his wizard thinks but won’t say, and doesn’t hide that he stares people down while gauging their character. he sometimes won’t care that he sounds mean or very direct either

• very protective of his familiar and is intensely loyal to him. isn’t really willing to leave the latter alone with people they don’t really know because of people attempting to take advantage of his schizophrenia in the past, gaslighting him into thinking that their actions weren’t real and were things he hallucinated/imagined

• Do no harm but take no shit

• Far more willing to kill than Merlin

• “Hey do you want me to kill that guy for you? Because it sounds like he sucks and I will totally kill that guy for you.”

• (I guess he technically counts as an emotional support animal but like. he’s sentient so idk 😭)

• is an omnivore (most dragons are, but he eats more human food than them from growing up and staying around them.)

Igriane:

• 6' 5"

• a wizard!

• was originally a red head before I realized that oh yeah. Morgana has brown hair, and a ginger and blonde would definitely not for the most part have a brunette kid

• purple eyes (haven’t decided if I’m gonna stay with this concept, but I like the idea of all wizards having some type of heterochromia, or technicolor eyes to show that they have magic)

Gorlois:

• 6' 0"

• he doesn’t have any type of unique eye color yet because I didn’t have the concept of that for wizards yet, and still not sure if I’m gonna keep it so. blue eyes for now

• again I say he’s the “I love my wife” guy!!

• also a wizard (which is where Morgana gets her magic when she’s born. You have two parents with magic you’re like. guaranteed to have magic.)

• maybe not really much of a fighter? Would probably use some type of sword if he was.

arguably some of the characters I've included here are not main main characters but they mean a lot to me and they have important roles in the story ok

I will include a character grid for everyone this is the format of the character grid:

'eyes' just means vibe, jewellery is the main component of their.. jewellery because everyone here has their own unique magic jewellery (part of the magic system/worldbuilding) except Calen who has a crown only because he's king.

Teagan is my lonely human skrunckly goober losing her grip on reality<3 15 years ago her older brother got dragged from a cliff into the sea by a big scary sea monster lizard, her parents blamed mermaids and have been going out monster hunting in their boat for weeks at a time. she went with them until she was old enough to stay at home and now she's going slightly insane from lack of human contact and thinks the wind and sea are old lovers/friends/rivals. she lives in a weird amalgamation of cornwall/north devon/mid-west wales and she's the most ridiculous author insert you've ever seen. she's very nice, sort of a peacemaker figure, she loves rock climbing and the sea and her hair is perpetually crusty with salt/sand. arguably the second main character and the secondary pov character.

Anemone is the shy princess who was the first picrew I made and she has been the main character and number one pov character ever since. she has the biggest character arc and she is SO precious to me. she's not very magically powerful and is horrifically insecure about it which is not helped by the fact that when she attended magic tutoring (because she’s a princess and her family has historically been very magically powerful) her best (only) friend was the most powerful witch for generations. then Ane left really abruptly and they didn't speak or see each other for close to 2 years. precious baby Ane has spent the last 2 years rotting in her room combing her hair and staring out of the window and the story starts when her brother the king forces her to leave and go on quests to help the people because she's the most useless parasitic royal ever and this is when she decides she needs her best friend's help with quests and thus the story starts. she is very shy and very much a pushover at the beginning but her arc is becoming a confident(ish) strong selfless leader <33 she is also so sapphic she rivals the og poet

Selma is that super powerful best friend!! she is arguably the most important character in terms of how she influences the people around her. she is also simultaneously a big weirdo and very cool!! she made her own magic jewellery and teaches at the magic tutoring system. her special interest is the ancient mega-powerful witch so she's obsessed with the magic jewellery/books the witch made and with the witch's descendant. she is very passionate and resilient (sometimes to her detriment) and defeats (almost) all her enemies with the sheer power of her lesbianism and homoerotic girlbestfriendships. she was very hard to name and only got her name when 'Selma' came to me in a dream (I had a different dream beforehand where the name Olympia came to me but I don't like that as much)

Iolanthe is the last living descendant of said ancient witch and Anemone’s thematic foil. this is because she has similarly mediocre magic when she should be very powerful. unfortunately she is in denial about this and still believes she has yet to earn her magic (magic in this world is both inherent from genetics/chance and earnt based on strength/resilience. Ane is very privileged and emotionally weak so she doesn't have strong magic, Selma is much more emotionally resilient so she does have strong magic etc etc). this means Io spends all her time in her workshop paid for by her richass family trying to make the perfect piece of magical jewellery which she can form a conduit bond with (you can magically bond with a piece of jewellery which will massively amplify your power if you earn it, usually done by making it (like Selma, who Io is very jealous of and inspired to make jewellery by), finding it or buying it with money you worked for). then near the end of part one the questing gang (Ane, Teagan, Selma, Mel, Enith and to an extent Isther) show her the jewellery they've collected which was all made by her ancient witch ancestor. she becomes convinced that she needs these specific pieces of jewellery to become powerful, but obviously they're bound to various members of the questing gang. everything spirals from there. she seems really dull and a bit entitled but on the inside she's making such leaps to conclusions that she is my secret favourite

Melyde is a street singer who, at the start of the story, earnt a conduit bond with a necklace made by the ancient witch (someone threw it at her when she was performing). previously she had no magic (quite rare to have NONE most people just have very weak) but after forming the bond she became about the second most powerful witch after Selma. unfortunately she had precisely zero control over it and accidentally lured half the city to watch her perform and give her money, so Selma and the gang (just Ane and Enith at that point) had to step in and get her to join the gang so Selma could teach her magic properly. you can tell Mel and Selma are in love because their colour schemes make up the lesbian flag. melyde's whole shtick is being very brave and stubborn and while she may be the most pointless character of the gang she means a lot to me

Enith (with a VOICED TH) is the gang's navigator and the first person Selma and Ane recruited to join them. she is from the deep ocean and has an unfashionable haircut because she's making a statement! and I love her. she spent her childhood mapping out the cave system behind her house and when she was older she moved to the capital city to run a tour guide and map making shop because she didn't want to work in her parents' glass making business. she's also got no magic of her own. she's very kind and friendly until her parents are killed at the end of part one (spoilers) after which she becomes angry impatient and withdrawn. I got her name by misspelling enid as enidd, which my brain read as enith because of welsh phonetics. love her!!

Isther (isster) has I think the most duality out of the characters. she fluctuates between poor little traumatised baby and lying vengeful murderous little shit. the gang found her when they accidentally got into the huge sealed-off cave where all the sea monsters were imprisoned after the big attacks 15 years ago and for some reason she was imprisoned there too?? how odd. they freed her and she joined the group. she's actually the witch who controls the sea monsters though she doesn't know that until the end of part 1 and she wasn't born murderous.. unfortunately still a liar and she does end up being (one of) the actual villains even if she was manipulated into it a bit. she could've been ok. she could've been ok!! Ane could've fixed her honestly there's something a little jackieshauna about them (pink and green, homoerotic friendship ended by violent betrayal)

Calen is Anemone’s older brother and the king. he's not a main character but I feel obligated to mention him. he has Issues about his mother. probably the closest to morally grey out of all the non-villain characters because he ends up using child soldiers because he can't beat an angsty 17 year old and her 5-6 uncreative sea monsters

Audrey Amell: Audrey is a very talented mage and was quite popular in Ferelden's circle, often making friends easily. She was more than relieved to be recruited by the Grey Wardens, always dreaming of adventure. She loved travelling Ferelden and being outside of the tower, dark spawn aside. She's very cheerful and chatty, often striking up conversations with strangers on the road. She loves to laugh and goof around, and has no hesitation to tease someone for being an idiot (Sorry Alistair). She comes up with some sick burns, which is rather ironic for an ice mage.

Rhiannon Hawke: Rhiannon is most definitely a "purple" Hawke. She rarely takes things seriously unless someone she cares about is hurt. She's a fierce warrior one moment and a smart-mouthed buffoon the next. She learnt fairly young to laugh off pain, especially emotional pain, which she has had her fair share of. She has a good heart and wants to do what's best for the greater good of Thedas, but also understands that sometimes the most morally correct choice isn't always the right choice.

Juliette Trevelyan: Juliette was always very quiet and reserved and was considered a bit of a loner during her time at Ostwick's circle. She has impressive natural talent as fire mage, however is very insecure in her abilities and is terrified of drawing too much attention to herself. She's kind hearted and nurturing, and once she comes out of her shell a little, can sometimes be a bit silly. She'd much rather spend time horse riding and daydreaming than being Inquisitor, but pushes herself to step up because she knows it's the right thing to do. (and well, she doesn't really have a choice, does she?) She can sometimes be a bit immature and bratty, especially when it comes to her emotions because she was never taught how to properly express herself. For the first time in her life she makes solid friendships with her companions & advisors and with their support learns to trust not only others, but also herself.

I am still on the idea of HSR characters at NRC thanks to @enatopiaa, so I made more with picrew!

First, Misha!Yuu, from @lazy0bear

The little bellhop from the Reverie Hotel. He wears shorts with his uniform. He feels quite at home in Ramshackle and manages to clean it up pretty well.

He's clumsy AF! He can trip over nothing and everything all at once.

He's really good at cleaning (because he was a bellhop).

He also has a hard time saying no to people so he gets taken advantage of a lot by the other students, especially the bigger ones, and Azul and the Tweels.

Luckily, he has his friends who are trying to teach him how to say no.

Leona and Malleus both see him as a little squirrel or mouse.

Vil gave him the hair clips to keep his hair out of his face.

Next, for @sunrisei Natasha!Yuu

The new school nurse. She changes up her look in order fit in more and look more professional.

Half of the students and staff have a crush on her. Students will skip class or clubs to see her, even faking injuries to get close to her. She sees right through them and sends them off with a pat on the head.

Vargas repeatedly flirts with her while she works. She doesn't know what to think about that.

During Book 2, she nearly loses her mind over all the injuries. She nearly shots Leona's head off with her gun during the Overblot fight. After that, no one messes with her.

She does care for the students and is fastened by their Unique Magics. She studies them and asks the students questions about them when they visit.

This girl, is a menace to NRC. Everyone is fooled by her innocent appearance at first, but quickly learns real fast not to mess with someone who plans Russian Roulette.

She may or may not be the reason for some of the boys OB.

She likes to disguise herself as other students to fool or trick them. This leads to headaches (and heartaches) everywhere.

Rich girl with a heart of gold and brains to match. Despite her rich upbringing, she doesn't like to flaunt her wealth and is tired of the rich lifestyle.

She can relate to Kalim the most because they both grew up privileged. She helps him understand that Jamil has his own problems and worries outside of his own. And she teaches him to not spend so much money.

Her intelligence makes her one of NRC's most promising students. She starts/joins the Astrology Club.

She building her own telescope to see the stars better. The Shroud brothers are helping her and they get along well.

So this is them!

Her mother Lydia and father Argus

Argus' hair is supposed to be darker, but this is the best I could find in this picrew and I don't wanna spend hours looking for another picrew that lets you make a masculine-looking person with pink hair and pink skin

The way Argus died is that he just kinda went out one day and he just never came home. He had a notoriously bad sense of direction so it's likely he just got lost and ended up a bigger, stronger mer's meal.

I think, had Argus lived, he and Junia would've gotten along amazingly. He was also autistic, though like Junia he was never really brought to see a doctor about it.

I sadly don't have a lot to say about him because he and Lydia knew each other for a very short amount of time, and just never had the time to properly get to know each other.

And Lydia I talked a bit about in Junia's post, but not a lot

I haven't developed all the details yet, but she did not have a very safe life growing up. Her family was a bit more well-off than average, at least at first, but she was still a very colorful mer in the Coral Sea (both Lydia and Argus are Rainbow Parrot fish mer) so she and her family were 'easy prey' in a sense. I think their family were actually 'kicked out' of the safer parts of the Coral Sea when she was quite young, and with it their social standing fell quite a bit. So she still remembered the much better life she'd had when she was young, and wanted to return to it. And she had to watch a few of her family members die early on because they just couldn't adapt.

So this would obviously instill in her a strong sense of self-preservation. And as a smaller mer and with way less physical might than most others you'd find in the more dangerous parts of the sea, she had to learn to rely on her few remaining relatives to keep her safe.

And eventually she managed to marry Argus.

I don't think they knew each other very well, if at all. It was a political marriage in every sense of the word.

Argus did try his best to get along with Lydia, and even wanted to try 'dating', for lack of a better term- basically he wanted to try to make things work romantically too.

But alas, he died just a few month after the wedding. The parts around where they lived had also started to become way more dangerous, hence why the marriage happened in the first place.

And Lydia, having just found out she was pregnant, basically said 'fuck this shit, I'm out' and took the risk of moving all the way to the Queendom of Roses. Basically all by herself. Argus' family stayed behind, since they weren't close with Lydia at all, and still believed Argus would come back (he never did)

But, even though the Queendom of Roses was a lot safer, and she had all she really needed, she still held onto the dream of going back to the glamorous life of her youth, and already had plans of, just like she had, working her way up in the world through either achievements or marriage. So she was going to either raise her child to become skilled enough to obtain a good position at court, or she'd try to marry them off to a suitor of the highest social standing she could find.

Meet the cast! (aka my OCs!)

Finally time to introduce my OCs! I'm sure I'll be making more in the future and will keep this updated. You will notice I have a lot more to say about my fantasy OCs - this is because I've been working on their universe for some years now and though I'm very indecisive and there's a lot of changes, a lot of back-and-forth, it is much easier for me to develop these ones I'm familiar with. The Vampire OCs were created like a week ago - they're still very early in development! We will surely be learning about them together :) I hope you enjoy them regardless! MY FANTASY WORLD

Eldwin Wishtmane (he/they)

(Neka)

Age: 22-24. An illegal sorcerer free from the governments grasp and a "warlock" - someone who has conspired with demons - Eldwin fled home at a young age and was captured and sold to the Black Syndicate, the most powerful criminal organization in the country. Naturally he has many enemies, from the court of law to the dregs of the underworld; an Unmarked mage is a rare and valuable thing, and a warlock is a sinner who threw away their humanity the moment they made a pact. 

He is 5'4 with a slender build, a little underweight due to high stress and poor eating habits and a youthful face with soft features. He has pale silver eyes and short-to-mid length black hair that develops streaks of white. He has a tattoo-like sigil on the back of his right hand which is the mark of his demon pact with a scar running through it, a brand on the right side of his neck that is a mark of the Syndicates ownership, and a crudely carved scar below his left collarbone. He favours formal clothing in dark colours and hates showing much skin. He wears gloves to hide the sigil. 

He is very stoic and reserved, unwilling to get close to people or show any vulnerability. He develops some very unhealthy coping mechanisms.

Destrian Advyre (any pronouns)

Age: 22-24.  Half wood-elf, half Dragonkin, an ancient race descended from the Goddess of Dragons. Both elves and dragonkin possess keener senses than humans.. Destrian is the deputy leader of the Supernatural Detective Agency, or the SDA, a private mercenary agency that deals with anything from private investigations, fighting monsters and retrieving rare items from dungeons. 

5'6 with a lithe build. Has brown hair with a russet undertone xe wears in a braid that falls almost to his knees, and golden brown eyes. He has gold-coloured horns and smattering of golden spots rather like scales across his arms, shoulders and neck. The gold on her face is facepaint worn for ceremonies. She typically wears sturdy but comfortable clothes in brown and purple tones, but loves dressing up for occasions in elegant clothes in rich colours, namely reds, golds and purples. 

She is a kind and gentle soul, seemingly carefree but harbors growing feelings of guilt and inferiority inside. She always puts everyone else before herself, and buries her own feelings deep in order to not cause trouble for others.

Ancassius Lailicci (he/him)

Age: 24-26. He is part-selkie - his maternal grandmother was selkie and the children and grandchildren were blessed with exceptional swimming and diving ability, can hold their breath for about 30 minutes, and can tolerate cold better than most humans. Despite that his favourite countries to visit are warm ones, and he never spends a winter in Aenora if he can help it - he refuses to be seen without his tan. He doesn't like to spend too long in one place anyway; his heart longs for the sea and he's never happier than when he's on his own ship surrounded by a loyal crew and sailing the ocean making new discoveries and riches. 

He is about 6'3 with a strong, board build with hazel eyes and dyed-red hair that he keeps long, either loose or in a low ponytail. (His natural hair colour is brown). Curiously, he also appears to have slightly webbed fingers. He is rather vain and takes great pride in his appearance. He tends to wear open shirts and grand jackets with equally grand hats and favours gold jewellery - lots of jewellery.

He is boisterous and passionate, and tends to make friends wherever he goes. He claims to be a pirate and while he does sometimes plunder some wealthy merchant ships, most of his time is spent travelling the world looking for treasure and smuggling illicit goods - maybe attack a slaver ship or two. But just because he's not overly violent doesn't mean he isn't to be respected - he went from a deckhand to the feared pirate queen Shao Yijun to a Captain in his own right. He can be just as ruthless as his mentor when necessary.

Age: 30 by the time she meets Ancassius. A Selkie. An adventurous young woman, she met a human man on the shore and he stole her skin and made her to marry him. He was kind at first, but then he turned cruel and forced her into slavery. She longs for the sea, but without her skin, she cannot go home, and she has no idea if she'll ever find it.

She is 5'2, with green-grey eyes and long black hair that reaches her thighs. She will not let her past control her, and remains a cheerful and optimistic person. She is very gentle and nurturing, and also very strong-willed, refusing to let herself be taken advantage of again. After being freed by Ancassius' and his crew, she joins up with them, her thirst for adventure and desire to see the world never fading. But she still waits for the day she finds her skin, and can return home.

Alistair Farewell (he/him)

Age: 50s-60s. The patriarch of the Farewell family and Head of the Black Syndicate. He will do whatever it takes to protect his family and his city. He is well-respected by city residents for his fairness and charity, but he is calculating and is not above cruelty if he has reason. He's lonely after the premature death of his wife, spending most of his time out of public eye.

He is about 5'10" with a heavy set build, deep blue eyes and strong features with greying brown hair kept neatly combed back. He's never seen in casual wear, always opting for a full suit or tux everywhere, excluding the privacy of his own room.

Clyde Farewell (he/him)

Age: 35. The heir to the Farewell name and the Underboss of the Black Syndicate. A man used to getting what he wants. He alone made the decision to purchase Eldwin, and considers him his greatest prize. He is very possessive and dislikes when his father takes an interest in Eldwin, but cannot speak against the man who's word is law... and who controls his inheritance. He is a volatile and arrogant man, but knows how to turn on the charm when he needs to. He expects to take over the Black Syndicate someday, though Alistair believes he is unfit for the job.

He enjoys exerting his power over others and will find any excuse to punish Eldwin. It is his abject cruelty that leads Alistair to consider him unsuitable to take over.

He is 6'1 with a very similar appearance to his father, though slimmer with younger, softer features.

Nels Barbary aka The Handler (he/they)

Age: 41. Clyde's right-hand and most trusted confidant. The man in charge of training Eldwin, he is a firm believer in cruel punishment and is harsh in his teachings. He's not someone who tortures for pleasure, however; He only inflicts suffering in the name of training, punishment, or as part of the job. He doesn't delight in it, but he won't lament over it either. He does like the feeling of control that comes with it.

6'3 with a large, muscular build, brown eyes and rather unkempt blond hair. Being the muscle of the Syndicate, he can get away with looking a bit unkempt. He has a large scar on his face, and on his neck like someone once tried to slit his throat.

Liana Coleman (she/her)

Age: 27.  A struggling freelance artist. It's a cold winter night when her car breaks down in the middle of nowhere. Faced with either freezing to death in her car or potentially freezing to death on the road trying to find someone who can help, she makes the trek and ends up at an old manor house...

She is 5'7 with a rather average build and black hair that falls to her shoulders in springy coils. She wears casual, comfortable clothing and favours a more neutral palette.

She has a curious nature and a habit of getting involved in business she shouldn't - but she does have everyones best interests at heart. She's friendly if a little awkward and clumsy, and keeps an active social life.

Adelia Morgan (she/her)

Age: 210.  She lives in an old mansion with other vampires, lead by the Elder. When a shivering human woman arrives at her door one stormy night, Adelia has a decision to make. She was turned into a vampire in 1844 at the age of 30. She was an aspiring writer and had a husband and three children. When she was turned she murdered her family in uncontrollable bloodlust and facing persecution, fled to her vampire clan where she lives to this day.

5'9 and slim with dark hair in tight curls around shoulder length. Her brown skin holds a vaguely unhealthy complexion, her eyes are a deep red and she has dainty looking fangs. She typically wears glamorous floor-length gowns in deep colours, usually black or red, and is also fond of jewellery. Except silver. 

A once loving woman, over the years her heart hardened, haunted by the guilt of what she did to her previous family and trapped under the thumb of her master, the Elder who turned her.
