It was always easy to tell what goes through Hana's head -- or what she feels anyway, from what Wally sees. Her skin, her hair, everything about her just lights up whenever she's particularly happy; it makes his heart swoon to see such a physical manifestation of it -- kinda like seeing a puppy wagging its tail out of eagerness.

If he surprises her with her favourite snacks, she gets glowy. If he calls her sunshine, she gets glowy too. And if he kisses her cheeks and says 'I love you', she's practically beaming -- literally and figuratively. She stays in her glowy state for the rest of the day too; merely able to nod and smile if anyone on the team comments on the constant glow she's radiating

He's so lucky to have his own little glowbug that keeps his dark nights brighter

It's not 'screwing around,' it's 'practice.'

Well, maybe a little bit of screwing around. But if the boss asks, it's practice.

After @sirfrogsworth posted on his wide-angle lens earlier, I was like, "hey, I just got myself a wide-angle zoom lens, let's see what I get photographing tonight's lunch!"

So with the 17-35mm f/2.8D lens in place, and the flash on, I got some interesting results.

Camera straight on, flash straight on. I'm maybe six six inches away from the subject, if that. So close, the lens itself is casting a shadow.

Take 2, flash 45 degrees up. The overhang of the cabinets behind the subject provide for a surface to bounce off of. It'll become more noticeable later.

And 90 degrees. Maybe I should've tried the bounce card here, too.

Moving on to another view.

Straight flash.

45 degree flash. The cabinet turns the flash into a backlight.

90 degrees.

And from the other side.

Straight.

45 degrees.

And 90.

There's a lot of room to experiment here. Stay tuned.

Bruce is driving back from Metropolis, him and Dick just had dinner with Clark, he was still single at the moment. Bruce had a appointement, there, so even if Clark can fly to the manor at speedlight, it was not necessary this time.

B : You behaved real good. I'm proud of you, chum.

Dick is flexing his muscles in the mirror and says

D: He said he became this strong because his mom fed him a lot of meat when he was young ! I'm gonna do the same.

B: It was a joke, chum. He gets his strenght from the sunlight.

D: I'm gonna eat meat outside.

Bruce laughs and the conversation stops there.

The day after, Bruce don't go to bed after patrol, a few hours later, a very pretty asian lady comes in, she has several luggaes with her.

B: Chum! Come say, hello! This is Talia my...oldest friend from my training years.

T: What beautiful boy you have! What is you name, sweetheart ?

D: Dick. I'm Dick. Nice to meet you.

T: Why are you blaming yourself like that ? Do we need a pediatrician ?

B: No, no! It's a old fashioned way to say Richard. His parents were immigrants and wanted him to have a local name.

T: I see. I'm so glad to meet my beloved's child. We're going to be great friends!

Day after day Dick is constantly chewing on meat. Meatloaf, sandwiches, beef jerky. One day Talia as the audacity to say.

T: Hey sweetie, I made vegetables from my country, do you want to taste it ?

How dare she ?

Later, when Dick is trying to fullfilled himself with boeuf bourguignon, she's even has the audacity to say.

T : If you are full we can put it in the freezer for later, there is more than enough for next time.

D: You don’t want me to be superman !

T: Wha-

D: You're trying to stop me to become strong !

T: No I-

D: Good night!

And he ran dramatically to his room.

This came out way longer that I thout it would be.
