1) my muse’s initial impression of yours Intense - hella intense. As someone who gravitated towards the support group without a lot of knowledge of prior survivors and their dynamics and realistically just looking for answers, the sudden interest that Lawrence displayed in her was a mix of intensity and surprise. She wasn't scared, as some might have assumed - she was just startled and then considerably curious.

2) my muse’s favorite physical attribute of yours Honestly, the eyes play a big, big part - they are so incredibly expressive that Melissa isn't immune to falling under their spell. Of course it helps that she comes to idolize and worship Lawrence in unhealthy ways, but he could probably manipulate her through looks alone. His hands come into a very close second - she enjoys watching him do anything to do with them because of how skilled, nimble and precise they are. They cure and they take; it's one of his most godly traits.

3) my muse’s favorite personality attribute of yours His determination and iron-clad will to see his vision through - as the heir to the Jigsaw legacy and the person who rescued her from what would have been certain death otherwise, Lawrence always seemed to know what he wanted and to fight viciously for it. It's a significant contrast to her way of life before Lawrence, just drifting without a purpose and concerned with trivial matters.

4) a moment that made my muse realize how much they care about yours Melissa realized that she was somewhat protective of Lawrence before the botched trap - particularly when her regulars tried to pick on him given the obvious disability or implied something terrible about him as a person. However, it wasn't until her recovery at the hospital that she probably realized how much she cared for him - not only because of the life debt, but because of the guilt. Melissa was both astonished at and guilty of the burden she represented to him during recovery, and did not want his career to suffer any setbacks. He was just too important and the idea of anything coming to pass to him (and harming Lawrence) became too much to bear.

5) something my muse never found the words to say to yours There is nothing she hasn't really said to him - Melissa doesn't believe in keeping secrets or anything bottled down in relation to Lawrence. There is, in fact, an alarming lack of privacy and boundaries in their relationship, but she doesn't see it that way - he's everything to her: savior, husband, god, lover. Even during the few moments where they disagree or she needs to protest, she does it carefully - but she still says what needs to be said. Melissa is quite simply incapable of hiding anything from him (short of the harmless stuff like Christmas gifts or a surprise birthday party, of course).

6) something my muse wishes they had never said to yours There is almost nothing, really - perhaps before their bond solidified and Lawrence's true identity was revealed as the Jigsaw heir, Melissa sometimes struggled to understand his goal with their relationship - more than once she told him that she wasn't worth his time or attention, which generally was met with sharp disagreement. But other than these fleeting moments, she has almost never said anything that would need recanting.

7) something your muse does that makes mine feel safe Honestly, his overall presence is the biggest thing he can offer - but she does appreciate the classical reminders: holding her by the waist, keeping a hand on the shoulder, squeezing her hand, etc. All these textbook signs of possessiveness from Lawrence towards Melissa are translated as assurances and she seeks it them unconsciously. Even when they bruise - she still fails to see these things as red flags and instead wears each mark as a badge of honor. He would kill for her; she is sure of it.

8) something your muse does that makes mine smile There are a number of things that Lawrence does which will please Melissa - from letting her handle the finances of their family with no questions asked to the way his accent sometimes slips. However, out of everything, she's truly delighted when he compliments her after a job well done for the games - there is no moment where she feels as special as when Lawrence acknowledges her hard work not as his wife or mother of his children, but as a worthy disciple and ally of his identity as Jigsaw. If Lawrence is a god, then she surely is his most devoted priestess and basks in the glory of that blessing.

9) something my muse wants to protect yours from It's frankly a mixed bag here - the physical discomfort that his injury will create sometimes makes Melissa wish she could take part of it away. She understands the meaning of the missing limb, though - and while she would never want for Lawrence to be without the loss that shaped him the way he is, she does try to protect him from the excess through whatever means available. There is a lot she learned over the years to deal with the abused flesh and scar tissue that she applies to their routine as often as she can.

10) ways my muse says ‘i love you’ without saying those words First of all - she says it; Melissa isn't afraid of uttering these words at all, particularly in private. Nevertheless, she does practice it often - in addition to taking exemplar care of Lawrence's injury, there is a lot about her that changed to embrace his preferences: dressing in his favorite colors, learning to make the food he enjoys, raising their children to be the perfect legacy to the Gordon name, honoring Jigsaw by serving as an accomplice and supporter... The list goes on. Melissa fundamentally lives for Lawrence and their children; the 'I love you' moments are hidden in everyday actions.
