so this person on twitter apparently found matt duffer's pinterest account, which, if real, poses some SUPER interesting information about st5.

a list created 1 year ago with pins similar to what vecna's mindscapes look like titled "max world"?

a list created 1 year ago titled "st spinoff" with various vintage/50s inspired towns?

not to mention all these lists...

i am highly suspicious of the authenticity of this account because i doubt matt duffer would spoil some elements of st5 on a pinterest account literally called 'matt duffer' that is easily available to everyone and is super easy to find, but then again.... this account has been running actively for at least four years. i doubt someone wanting to impersonate him would keep the gag running that long. (that, and, it has taken a while to find this account. i think an impersonator would give up the shtick after they realize this is reaching virtually no one)

i think i have some evidence to back up that this is actually matt duffer though.

in 2020, around the time when they would have been starting production on st4, the account made this list called 'scar'

i have a feeling this could have been matt visualizing scars on fred, or maybe even victor creel. fred has a scar that travels along his left cheek, though it's not as dramatic as these pins.

could be victor because of the one with the eye though.

another pinterest account, michael maher jr, was also featured as a collaborator on some of these lists (the account follows matt duffer's as well) and has some interesting lists as well. i think it's worth noting that this guy is literally an emmy nominated concept artist that has worked with stranger things before. this is his official instagram, if you'd like to check it out.

i don't really want to delve into this guy's account because these lists could contain some inspo for other projects that he's doing but you're welcome to view it on your own.

this just begs the question: why would an impersonator go all these lengths to impersonate a concept artist ON TOP of matt duffer and run it consistently for four years?? it seems like too much work.

obviously, take everything you see here with a grain of salt. this could also very well be matt duffer trolling with us. but i think it's worth checking out!!!!

Buck holds Eddie tightly against his chest and wills breath into the other man's lungs. He wills the world to keep him safe and watch over him in a place that Buck can’t go. Buck’s composure is hanging by a thread when Eddie pulls away. The way his fingertips drag across Buck’s ribs as he steps back speaks to the reluctance that’s taken up residence in Buck's chest since he first laid eyes on the cursed iPad.

Reluctant to let him go, to watch him leave, knowing that he can’t do anything but that. Buck can’t be that selfish, no matter how much he wants to get on his knees on this wet asphalt and beg Eddie to stay. Because he knows that Eddie’s going for all the right reasons and Buck wants him to stay for all the wrong ones. 

Eddie needs to be with Christopher, Christopher needs to know that his Dad is there, when he’s ready, whenever he needs. God, what Buck wouldn’t have given to see that same unconditional, unwavering love from his own parents growing up. 

Buck fucked it all up. He is once again too late, too slow, too little, too much. Too in love with Eddie to stand to watch him go, too in love with him to force him to stay. Because he knows, this is the only way this was going to end. 

“Call me so I know you’ve arrived safely,” Buck says firmly, his voice as steady as he can make it. 

Eddie watches him with those wide, dark eyes and Buck feels caught. The corner of Eddie’s mouth turns up slightly. “I will.” 

“Okay, okay you better go before the rain gets worse.” Buck forces himself to take another step back. 

“Right.” Eddie’s still watching him. He’s chewing on the inside of his cheek, a nervous tick Buck knows means he’s thinking too hard about something. He opens his mouth like he’s going to say something and Buck waits with baited breath. Eddie shakes his head and licks his lips. “Okay, I’ll—. Right.”

“Drive safe.” 

Eddie nods and steps back one, two, turn, three, four, truck door, step up, turns the key, starts the engine, five, six, pulls away from the curb.

Buck forces himself to turn his back, he can’t watch the UHaul disappear around the corner. He forces himself to walk back to the Jeep, to heave his wet, ponderous self into the driver's seat and catches the smallest glimpse of tail lights in the review mirror and snaps.

A cry tears its way up his throat, fists, and forearms smashing against the staring wheel as the anguish builds, hitting the horn at random intervals. 

Briefly, he feels bad for Eddie’s neighbors—who aren’t Eddie’s neighbors anymore.

His forehead falls against the wheel as he shakes and wheezes and tastes the salty tears streaming down his cheeks. Sobbing and hiccupping he wraps his arms as tightly as he can around himself and forces breath into his lungs.

Of course there’s no way to determine the veracity of this “leak,” if it could be called that, but God I hope it’s true. I can’t watch 10(?) hours of television in one sitting!

I am starting think that maybe the jealousy we’re gonna be seeing from Buck won’t be over Eddie having a new friend, because it had kinda been established last season that Eddie does socialize outside of Buck (the secret poker night Buck didn’t even know about). I think it might be more likely he’s jealous cause he thinks Eddie’s interested in being Tommy’s partner at work. Tommy encourages to join him in air rescue, Buck lashes out during the basketball game, & the episode ends with Eddie reassuring Buck they’ll be partners no matter where they work or who they work with.

I will forever keep dunking on Scarlet/Violet's graphics because it is just that bad when you look at it from the perspective of development.

The Wii had only 88mb of ram and we still got Wuhu island/Wii Sports Resort.

The Wii U only had 2GB of ram and we still had BOTW (which mind you was originally developed for the Wii U, and this is specifically a screenshot from the Wii U version)

The Nintendo Switch has only 4GB of ram and the Witcher 3 still looks great.

Gamefreak needs to stop crunching out releases every year and give a single game the time it needs. But as long as they keep making a morbillion from game and DLC sales, they'll just keep the train going. It's straight up abusive to their employees and a spit in the face to the people who enjoy Pokémon.

The carvings—could they be counted as carvings yet, if she’d only traced them back twice, or were they just deep cuts?—on his skin stung with the circulating air of the ambulance, the hospital. There weren’t very many, really, in comparison to the others. She’d seemed– well, he suspected if they’d shown up any later, the situation would’ve been very different, worse, fatal. All he had was a few shallow cuts on his face and down his chest and arms, a couple on his thighs, calves, hips– Okay, maybe more than just a few cuts. But they’d heal, scar maybe, leave a permanent imprint of her on his skin, one he could never wash off. It’d seemed almost like she was tracing his features with the knife, etching into him, cutting along his cheekbones, his nose, his collarbones, his biceps, his– No, he really didn’t want to think about it, any of it. She’d– no, no, he couldn’t think about it, couldn’t go back there. He was out, he escaped. But god, he didn’t feel free. How could he be out, safe, but still feel so utterly trapped?

The ride to the hospital was– well, Buck didn’t really know. He knew he was led into an ambulance, knew it wasn’t Hen and Chim who checked him over, prodding at him, but his brain just didn’t want to process what was happening. The only thing he could focus on was the feeling of Eddie’s hands grasping his so tight that it felt like he was trying to ground them both and not just Buck. Everything else felt hazy, distant, muffled, even as he was lowered into a wheelchair at the hospital and led towards the exam rooms. He knew the hospital must’ve smelled like every other one he’d ever been inside, knew the smell of antiseptic should’ve been burning at his nostrils, but he just couldn’t smell it, feel it. His entire body felt numb, in a weird sort of way, similar to how he’d felt after the tsunami, like his limbs weren’t his own. It’s the trauma. Buck wanted to disagree with the voice in his head, the logical, first responder part of his brain, but he also knew there was no way that he could.

The adrenaline that had been pumping through his veins for—how long had it even been?—faded, draining out of him the further he got from her, from that house, from that car. All of the energy he’d managed to gather to slip her phone from her without her noticing, to walk out with Athena, to talk to Eddie, left him almost instantly. He was grateful for the fact that he didn’t have to walk anywhere, anytime soon. Even sitting in the wheelchair and then the exam bed, his bad leg felt like it was on fire, molten lava churning under his skin, through his bones. Every one of his limbs felt like they were made of lead, weighing his very body down, almost impossible to move, to feel. God, he just wanted to lay down and never get back up again.

It's really interesting to me that they've changed the wording around the DAD protagonist from hero to leader. It could be as simple as wanting to diversify things, like

DAO = Hero

DA2 = Champion

DAI = Inquisitor

DAD = Leader?

Though I'll be curious how we get there, especially with the theory that (this implies the Rook from the leak is the PC) Rook is a multifaceted name. The chess piece, the corvid, a shortened form of 'rookie'.

Varric said in one of the previous teasers that they need someone Solas doesn't know and will never see coming, so I wonder if "Rook" is going to be a total nobody at first. A rookie in that we might not be tied to any organization at first, because by DAD, Solas would be familiar with all of them. Granted it'd be just as easy to be a rookie of any of the teased groups that will be important.

With the Crows, you could be a (relatively) new recruit with very few jobs under your belt. With the Wardens, it's possible we could be put into a Thom Rainier/Blackwall situation. Or a brand new Lord of Fortune with designs to become a famous treasure hunter.

I kinda gave up on my lim spec thingie due to hyperfixation on it wearing out but!! I *knew* honami or emu were going to be the wedding lim- I didn’t expect both though!
