There weren't many things that brought much joy to the old brute anymore. Paulie carried a lot of baggage and sorrow on his shoulders that continuously weighed down on him. He hated every aspect of his life, his job, and his crappy apartment. He so desperately wanted an escape. Anything that could possibly take him away from all his misery...the bottles of booze and endless gambling no longer sufficed. Something had to give and soon.

As if his long-awaited prayers were finally answered, you so miraculously entered in his life. it was something out of some kind of romance movie. really. It all happened when you were moving into your new apartment building. Trying your utter best to get up the rather inaccessible steps with your walking assistant when you unfortunately misstepped, causing yourself to become unstable and fall backwards. you braced for the impact of the cold, disgusting concrete ground but was surprisingly swept up by large arms.

"You okay there, missy?"

His amused voice asked while helping you get back onto your feet. You took a second to regain composure before looking up at him. shinning an aloof yet cute smile at him, you thanked him for saving you from your certain demise. A short but friendly conversation took place where he welcomed you to the building...offering his assistance whenever you needed it. Thanking him and exchanging names, you went about your way, not thinking much of the interaction.

For Paulie on the other hand..it was all he thought about. Oh how cute your smile was or sweet how your voice and manner were. But what he couldn't shake was how perfect your meeting was. It had to be fate..no? If he hadn't walked in at the time he did, you would've been severely injured. everything about that meeting consumed him and he was so eager to see you again..

From that day forward obsessed. You'll find that he was just always there,, I mean you lived in the same building but he was somehow always in the hallway when you'd come out of your apartment or at the same places you were. He's so friendly and energetic too, you gave him a new sense of life.

You didn't mind it much though, Paulie had a heart of gold and you became quite good friends. He never judged you for your leg issues and was far more helpful than anyone you ever met. He'd bring you food and items you needed during your flare-ups and you returned the favor when he worked late. You could speak to him about literally everything, he was funny and quite charming. You loved being around him and so did he..just in a different way...

His "innocent" questions are really just him poking to find out your interests, likes and dislikes so he can put them into use later. Especially the ones about your ideal man. He'll do anything to become your perfect mate. Any traits you expressed disinterest in him will change. He's already stopped smoking and gambling plus started to keep himself up more...just for you my dear. Any compliments he receives from you drive him wild and fuel his delusions more. He's convinced he is on the right path to be yours very soon. I like to think Paulie wouldn't be straight up about his feelings at all tho. He's had so many heartbreaks and rejections that he's far too scared of your response if he comes straight out about it. He doesn't want to scare you off or make things awkward so he plays it slow...

You, on the other hand, are oblivious to all of this. He's like the older coworker you've somehow become besties with..nothing more. You didn't think of him that way. Unbeknownst to you, you'd be making a horrible mistake because of this. The next time you saw him, you gushed over a guy you had met at the library. You went on and on about how he was perfect, handsome, and everything you dreamed about. You asked Paulie for advice on pursuing your newfound crush, only earning a cold and stoic "idk" from him before going into his apartment. you brushed it off as him just having a long and bad day from work but in reality...Paulie was heartbroken. Another woman he thought loved him back was actually just interested in someone hotter, younger, and better than him.

he tried his best to convince you out of being with him, that you should be careful of the men in this city. How did you know that he truly accepted you and wouldn't make fun of you? You should just stay safe with Paulie,,,trust him. He know best...please..this is eating him alive right now.

but that devastation quickly turned into anger when each day that passed, a new set of flowers and gifts were found at your door. it was like fate was rubbing it in his face that it was never truly meant to be. His obsession with you was far too deep to just be let go. He invested so much time, and Paulie knows you better than that little crush ever could. Sure, your admirer might've been more romantic but he knew what makes you cry and what makes you happy...even your deepest darkest secrets.. Paulie actually knew you and loved you. He could love you so good if you'd just let him.

You ran up to Paulie as he was walking in the building and practically jumped in his arms in joy. You could barely contain your excitement and you handed him the note you just received. His smile faded as he read the words on the paper.

"well- isn't this great Paulie!? I think we are officially going to go steady"

Maybe, he shouldn't have drunk so much heavy liquor and maybe he should've told one of the guys what happened so they could've talked him out of it...but he went to the restaurant. The image of you being so happy over this other guy festered in his mind. You were slipping away from him...soon you'd completely forget about Paulie for your pretty boy...no. He can't lose you too. He can't go through this again. He's getting old. Paulie needed happiness and a quiet life with you so badly.

The clock read 8:15 and you guys had just been seated at your table. Paulie arrived shortly and drunkenly got out of the taxi. Though stumbling his way around the place, it surprisingly didn't take him long before finding your booth.

The two of you were at a table, exchanging flirtatious glances and banter when Paulie's body appeared, staring daggers into your lover. He hated how he looked at you, how happy each other appeared with each other. That should be him instead.

"...Paulie? what are you-"

In a jealousy-fueled rage, Paulie grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and began dragging him outside. Only muttering for you to 'stay put' while he handled things.

Of course, you didn't listen and followed them out of the building, shouting for your neighbor to stop and tell you exactly what was going on...Unfortunately, Paulie was far too gone and drunken to even register your presence. All he was deadset on was making your date pay for taking you away from him.

Taking your admirer to the back of the parking lot, he forcefully punched him down onto the rough gravel. a plea for mercy being cut short by the bottom of Paulie's shiny black shoes connecting with his face, slamming him further into the ground. Your body completely froze at the sight of what was happening. Suddenly everything clicked...the suit...the accent..the days he's come home smelling like gunpowder with bruised fists.. How could you be so freakin stupid? How could you be so naive to believe this man was just an "innocent" friend.,

Paulie continued beating your lover down until the amount of blood that pooled satisfied him. A sick pleasure overtook his body observing how ugly and limp he knew was. He hadn't any chance with you anymore, even if you still found him to be beautiful or perfect...he would be too scared to even come within ten feet of you.

A loud and sudden thud snapped Paulie out of his trance when he turned to find you. Your walking assistant had been left inside the restaurant and it was becoming increasingly difficult for you to stand any longer, so you dropped to the ground, falling back on your ass. The sight of you merely sobered him up. Burning guilt quickly overtook the pleasure. Your eyes were wide with tears trickling out of them, and you sat in a daze. Your body was still in shock and far too weak to move..

"no...no..no paulie, what did you do?" he regretfully spoke to himself, as he carefully made his way to you

You wanted to back away, scream, cry...anything but you just couldn't. You stayed as you were as he approached and sat down in front of you. One of his hands slowly came up to the side of your face, gently caressing it. Your body reactively began to tremble, terrified of him hurting you next..

"I'm so sorry-" his own eyes began to swell with tears. Paulie once again ruined something beyond repair.. He just couldn't;t do anything right. His addictions and temperament once again reminded him who's really king.

He threw his head down onto your lap, taking your hands in his and squeezing them tightly. His speech was a bit slurred and sloppy due to the alcohol still pumping through his system..

"please. please forgive me. I'm so sorry. I'll give you whatever you want, take you where you want. I just didn't want anyone else to have you. He was taking you away from me and I could love you so much better."

The pathetic cries of a lonely, desperate man flooded your ears. You didn't care for anything from him. He took the one thing you wanted away from you..you hated Paulie

I want to preface this little rant by saying that I am all for ship and let ship—at the end of the day none of this has any significance, and we should all get to enjoy our silly little ships to our heart’s content. Me personally I just want Elain to do whatever the hell she wants and be happy in the end. That being said, rn I just felt like getting something off my chest.

From what I have seen and understood, most of The Other Side believes that Azriel feels entitled to Elain. That he sees her as a sexual object, or at the very most as a rebound he doesn’t truly care for, nor respect; he does not think of her beyond what he can get from her sexually. They say his attitude towards her is toxic in its ‘possessiveness’; he doesn’t consider her an equal, for he sees her as a perpetual damsel in distress he must save; his attraction to her / feelings for her are a symptom of some twisted trauma response.

We know that they believe that. We’ve heard it. Over and over and over. Since 2021. Hell, everybody’s momma probably knows it, too, with the way that rhetoric is spread. But Elriels have made it plenty clear that we have a very different interpretation of the text and do NOT agree with those assessments of Azriel (nor half the things the poor man is diagnosed with, bless his fictional soul), considering what we do know of Azriel’s character and his relationship with Elain, based on the books--and yes, the bonus (see this, this, and this post). Otherwise—i.e. if we believed him an incel x fuckboy hybrid (probs the first of his kind!) who is only interested in getting her in is bed—we would obviously not be shipping them together: most of us (99% I’d say lol) care about Elain more than we do Az, or care about them both just as much.

So it is getting pretty tiring to see us shippers—the actual humans behind the screen—labelled as having a toxic/immature view of what love is, of being “too young/naive” to see the supposed red flags, of mistaking lust for love because we have not experienced a healthy relationship (?), of actually promoting toxic relationships & advocating for toxic masculinity (which someone told me on tiktok just now)(stay away from tiktok, folks). Those generalizations are wild to me, not only because they are wildly untrue and condescending, but because Elriels are a colorful bunch, you know—when you’re speaking of the fandom Villain™, you’re speaking of people of every demographic, speaking of daughters mothers grandmothers, depressed uni students (pardon the self-insert), etc... I need to get thicker skin, but those statements can get pretty hurtful in the long run. And I’m tired of feeling the need to justify myself as if we’re wrong for shipping two people who MUTUALLY want one another and lets be serious, no its not “just lust”.

I know I know, I am probably being dramatic. But it’s just weird to see a ship being so demonized and its shippers along with it, all because louder portions of the fandom disagree with our opinions and insist on toxifying ours. Just to be clear, I know that many have had unpleasant experiences/interactions with Elriels, just like many Elriels have had the same with Gwynriels and/or Eluciens. I condone none of the disgusting behaviour I’ve seen from some shippers, and in fact I abhor it. As everyone should.

To end this on a good note.

Elriels, I say we run with it. Az wants Elain for himself. He is jealous and his mind is plagued by thoughts of her. Her presence is too much to bear, for he can’t stand to be in the same room as her and pretend like he feels nothing. He is ready to beg on his knees for a chance to worship her, and it took Nesta one look to see it.

Being out of the dorms for hours on end was a usual thing for you. Always going to your classes, finishing tedious projects and furthering your education. It’s just what you did, what you always do. In order to be who you want to be you had to grind everyday to get closer to your goals, and that’s what Bakugou admired about you. Always hustling, always pushing yourself a little more each day with no resistance. If work isn’t getting done, you’re staying up until it’s finished.

And on the few occasions he sees you running around on campus, he can’t help but to notice your work ethic. It’s like you’re an engine that just never stops. While it’s very notable, he does expect you to take care of yourself properly. It’s one thing to be successful, but another to be healthy.

Since you both are so close it’s pretty much second nature for him to drop in a few times to make sure you’re not running yourself wild. He claims it saves him from having to hear you complain about how stressed out you are but of course it’s with good intention. He won’t say it out loud but he’d much rather let his actions speak for him. It’s more meaningful that way right?

On one particular night, he strolls back into the dorms after being at the gym for his daily workout. It’s about 8:45 PM when he gets back. Having already showered at the gym he shuffles to his room ready for a well earned rest. Well that is until he walks past your room and hears the muffled tune of your work playlist.

Yes, he can tell you’re listening to the same playlist you always play when working. It’s imbedded in his brain at this point because you’ve played it so much when you’re focused on a project. The music isn’t loud enough to bother him so he enters his room and finishes up the rest of his nightly routine (reading a few more pages of a book he’s been really into recently).

Just as he flips another page, he hears an exasperated sigh ring through the thin walls of the dorms. Of course, it’s you. It’s your signature Jesus-help-me-or-I’m-about-to-set-something-on-fire sigh. He checks the clock on his wall and sees it’s damn near ten o’clock. Not only has he spent too long caught up in the pages of his book, but you’re still working away in your room.

He bookmarks the page he was on and gets up from his seat, swinging his door open and moving to stand in front of yours. Rough knuckles rap at your door three times prompting you to open up. Your door swings open and the first thing he’s met with are your drowsy eyes and your head clad in the black hood of your hoodie. He stuffs his hands in the pockets of his sweats.

“What’s up?” Your voice is slightly deepened from not having talked in a while. His face is placid as he speaks.

“You apparently.” You blink slowly at him.

“Yeah well I got stuff to do. Why are you still up? You’re usually knocked out by now.”

“Got caught up readin’. You eat?”

“Had a twix bar earlier.” His face slightly turns up. A candy bar isn’t gonna do shit for you.

“Stop puttin’ that shit in your body. If you’re not gonna eat a full meal at least get a sustanant snack.” You rub at your eyes and let out a small yawn.

“Thank you for the prognosis Dr. Bakugou. I’ll be sure to follow your regiment.”

“What time you goin’ to bed?”

You shrug, body starting to lean on your open door. “Whenever I finish this assignment.”

“So the ass crack of dawn?” He grumbles and folds his muscular arms across his chest.

“If I’m lucky enough, yeah.” Sometimes he doesn’t get why you’re so nonchalant about a fucked up sleep schedule. You have a nine am tomorrow and the last thing he wants to hear is your bitching in the morning.

“Don’t be a hardass. Just go to sleep.”

“Trust me I want to, but in all honesty I gotta get this done man.” You can barely keep your eyes open. If anything it’s irritating that you just won’t give the whole act a rest. Fine then.

“If you wanna haul ass all day then so be it. Just know your performance is gonna be shit and you’re only making this harder on yourself.” He watches as your expression sobers up a bit at his harsh words. He takes one last look at you before turning on his heel to stride back to his room.

“But hey, what do I know?” You stand there, door ajar as you watch him leave. You have to admit, the fog of sleep is getting too thick to ignore. And with Bakugou’s obnoxious slap to reality you start to clean up your workspace and pack everything up for the night.

It’s annoying that he gets to you so easily because he makes you realize how hardheaded you can be when it comes to work. You’re grateful he’s real enough to tell you when you’re about to fuck up while still giving you the choice of free will. He doesn’t coddle you but he’s also not gonna leave you ass out. Mainly so he can say “I told you so” when you do fuck up. But it helps you make better decisions nonetheless.

So as Bakugou shuts off his desk lamp and climbs into bed, a victorious smirk creeps onto his face when he ceases to hear the sound of your music playing.

ADHD/ Neurodiversity rant, Ig?? (TLDR at the end)

I feel like I've definitely went through some character development over the years but especially when I learned more about my ADHD.

They don't really give you that much info when you get diagnosed, I feel (I got diagnosed pretty young at like 7-8 and started taking meds when I was about 9 years old, I think).

And I started learning more about it in, like, middle school and it was wild to figure out that I wasn't alone in these experiences I was having like RSD (AND THE RSD CHEST PAIN- I WAS LIKE "OTHER PEOPLE WITH ADHD FEEL THIS TOO?!?"), Sensory issues (I get pissed if I get overstimulated and it was a relief to find out that other people feel like that too), skipping lines when I read and getting headaches while reading even though I wasn't dyslexic (Convergence insufficiency), being uncoordinated (my handwriting always going upwards instead of in a straight line, having trouble with using keys, or getting food all over myself when I ate) , problems with emotional regulation, etc.

Shout out to people on tiktok/youtube who have info on ADHD like: Connor DeWolfe, Ethan Nestor & Markiplier (not really their main content but they both do have it and occasionally talk about it. Ethan has the hyperactive type and Mark has the inattentive type), Olivia Lutfallah (her ADHD simulators are SO ACCURATE- And she has AuDHD so she has some stuff about autism too, I believe)

I remember I felt sorta daunted at first to realize I was way different than my peers than I first thought

and I had that sorta grieving process that people get when they get diagnosed later in life even though I had already been diagnosed

Like, "Damn. If only my past-self had known that. Maybe I could've shielded her from getting hurt."

But also, knowing more helped me move forward with more of a plan, I guess

Can't accommodate to yourself if you don't know what to accommodate to, right?

Anyways, I'm saying this because I think it's so important that people be taught more about Neurodiversities

Kids, parents, teachers, etc. should all be more informed because it saves a lot of confusion and pain for people in the long-run

Cuz a kid won't know that they have a different brain because that's all they've ever known. Sorta reminds me of the quote:

“Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.”

But yeah, if it hadn't been for my second grade teacher who noticed that I was coming home with classwork and who didn't think I was just being lazy, I don't know if I would be here, today, to be honest.

All it takes is one person to notice the signs of neurodiversity and speak up to change someone's life for the better

which is why I always try to educate my friends on this kinds of things so that they can be more helpful and understand of people with neurodiversites and of themselves if they realize they have a neurodiversity

Also, I write about this because I used to find characters like Mable Pines and Steven Universe annoying until I realized they exhibited ADHD symptoms and there was probablyyy some internalized ableism in my mind as a kid. I was able to watch the shows with these characters in them as a teenager and realize how much they characters were like me! And I loved them for it! It's really cool to see how much my knowledge and acceptance for my ADHD has grown as I've grown!

Anywayssss, that is all. I'm on my meds rn and I had some motivation so decided to talk about this hehe. I gotta get ready for some babysitting rn lmao.

Brace ya self I am having HC/ opinion and might be speaking outta my ass lol. And oh I am very chaotic with my thoughts so there's that

In Poland we say "it's darkest under the lamppost", which means the most obvious things are hardest to spot. Mikey is perceptive to others emotions but kinda blind to his own until someone points something out. Like

"Mike, why do you keep flying on that board."

To be fair I think the height insecurity easily relates to his other fears. He is the youngest, the smallest. He isn't as smart as Donnie and often says things others find annoying. He doesn't have "a great burden of leadership" like Leo, isn't the big protector like Raph. He is the silly one. He just wants his family together and have fun with them. Be with them. But he sometimes feels worse than them. Smaller than them in both height and purpose.

Maybe it was a mission that went wrong. While the other brothers were trying to run damage control Mikey didn't know what to do? His brothers' backs now so much taller and competent than his own.

I think first to notice something would be April. She is the most inquisitive - pros of being darn good reporter.

She notices how Mikey isn't cracking as many jokes as before. He spends a lot more time up in the pipes, not even flying around just sitting above everyone.

Mikey has always been an open book. He wears his heart and thoughts on his sleeve like 90% of the time. So a gentle push and a smile is all it takes for him to spill his guts and worries to her. Plus, how can he say no to April, his favourite human.

He wished to be taller, like Donnie. He could reach further, maybe go faster. Prevent bad things from happening. Help people better.

April reassures him or tries to and just hopes to get him to talk to his brothers. She promises she would be there with him to provide support. He's also her friend.

So she gets them all together. She gives Mikey the stage and he starts talking. Probably too much because now he's crying and the brothers just group hug him and just remind him of all the times he saved their hides. Yeah he's wild but being their wild card is good. He's so artistic, great at music and what's important he has so much compassion for others and emotions are so easy for him. Being the heart of the family doesn't make him less important. Without him the family is out of whack.

Raph probably remind him how being shorted than him has it perks because Raph can't get through narrow and tight spaces like Mikey can. And he's not as fast as Mikey.

Family isn't being uniform unit. It's their differences that make everyone work so well together - Splinter reminds them to cherish who they are and build each other up because of the differences not inspite of them.

Then Raph grabs Mikey and sits him on his shoulders. He wants to be taller? Then big bro can carry him around.

(I just noticed that I called it buzzfeed unsolved still even though they're their own thing now, oops,)

playing: fallowwwwwwwww. unless we count french horn. I got a new mouthpiece (it was half the price of the futon I got) (it's a cheap futon and a slightly expensive mouthpiece) and I am shocked and embarrassed by how big a difference it is making in my playing. you're telling me the dogshit no-name mouthpiece I stole from my band teacher in high school isn't cutting it??? crazy.

making: I made my cat a cat bed :) it's just two rectangles sewn together with a long rectangular strip as the side. I used some random canvas that I bought at some point for ? tote bag purposes ? I don't remember. the best part is I was FINALLY able to utilize the frankly ridiculous amount of fabric/thread/yarn/etc scraps/old clothing that's too fucked to get donated/etc that I've been saving specifically for stuffing pillows. worked really well, also put some plastic bag scraps in there because she loves lying on plastic bags and so far she definitely likes the crinkles of it. pictured in the photo is the weird I-think-polyester that was wrapped around my walmart futon when it was mailed that I shredded and used as stuffing.

my bird bowl emerged mostly victorious from the kiln!!!! I say 'mostly' because there's a weird spot on the rim where the clear glaze just didn't stick? so I daubed a little more on and put her back on the shelf. but yay. glazed two shallow planters that I'm not super sure what I'll put in yet because they are quite small but we'll see.

eating: made this NYT recipe of sheet pan miso chicken with radishes and lime but also added sunchokes with the radishes and no lime because I forgor. very yummy. will sustain me for the week and now I have more raw chicken thighs in the freezer for future cooking.

Kazuma Kiryu

He's very good with shy people as he's rather introverted himself. Very good at understanding personal space. Totally fine with ordering stuff for you if you get too shy. He's usually the one that answers the phone at home, since most of the calls are for him anyways, so don't worry about that either. He's the most reassuring, always telling you it's okay and that you don't need to force yourself to do anything.

Majima Goro

Is he the total opposite of shy? Sure. Does he give a darn? Hell nah. He loves his partner and that's all there is to it, it doesn't matter to him if they're shy or not, he thinks they're neat. Anyone who makes fun of you gets a swift kick in the pants as Majima is your number 1 defender. Says things like "Don't worry 'bout a thing babe, I'll take care of it" and his bumbling wild energy is infectious, even to you.

Akiyama Shun

He thinks shy people are just the darn cutest. Fair warning, he will totally tease you about being shy as he loves seeing you blush about it but he will absolutely respect your boundaries if you tell him to stop. Most of the time though, he's just neutral about the whole shy thing. He's a bit of an introvert in some ways in that he'd rather kind of just do his own thing, so it's very easy for the two of you to just sit at home, each of you occupied by something different and just sharing the space together.

Tanimura Masayoshi

Also thinks your shyness is cute but he's a somewhat meaner tease than Akiyama. However, if someone else tries to tease you about it, he gets all protective and tells them to watch what they say next time. Confuddling boy, our Tanimura. Also has a tendency to pat you on the head, especially if you do something out of your comfort zone like make an important phone call. He's a silly goose.

Saejima Taiga

He is ALSO shy so you two can just be shy buddies. A lot of "No, ya go first" with Saejima. This goes with just about anything, from who walks into a room first to if you both speak at the same time. In the same beat, he will not hesitate to chew out a guy who says something rude or tries to be inappropriate with you before immediately speaking to you in the softest, quietest, and nicest voice. Most people wouldn't believe Saejima is actually shy himself.

Ryuji Goda

Like a human shield and a protective blanket all wrapped into one person. You're shy? No problem, big boy Ryuji's got your back. He's actually the best at encouraging you to slowly step out of your comfort zone and cares more about seeing you be able to do well on your own than trying to protect you from any potential threats. Also the MOST supportive boy, for example if you ace a job interview you were super nervous about, he's going to celebrate by picking you up, spinning you around, and loudly singing you praises like "See, I knew ya could do it!".

Nishikiyama Akira

Out of all the boys, he's the worst at handling his significant other's shy moments. Nishiki has never been shy in his life so won't intuitively understand what you're feeling but he will be able to immediately pick up on the fact that you're feeling uncomfortable with something. In that sense, he's good at saving face for you, for example if someone on the street tries to tell you something and you're too shy to tell them to stop pestering you, he'll step in and say things like "Hey buddy, they just said they weren't interested so why don't you stop bugging 'em?". His best skill is swatting away people trying to take advantage of your shyness.

Daigo Dojima

He seems very calm and collected but actually he's prone to anxiety so he relates to you a lot. You both provide each other with a lot of support. A very gentle partner. In the beginning of the relationship, he'll probably be more shy than you are just because dating is such a foreign concept to him. Once he settles into the role, he's a great supporter and the best at comforting you if you get anxious.

Mine Yoshitaka

King of overcoming things. Best person to go to when it comes to panic attacks. He knows all kinds of ways to calm you down, like breathing exercises. Mine is introverted but not shy so he helps pick up the slack when it comes to social interactions, especially with strangers. If someone is heckling you for being shy or not speaking up, he's totally the type of guy to be like "They said they want extra ketchup on their burger!", like in those memes.

1. What was the first part of your wip that you created?

probably the concept of a god of the forest saving a villager from the wild hunt. i didnt have loifa or rowan created, mind, just the vague idea of a god interrupting mischievous fairies who were about to kill/kidnap/do gods know what to a village boy who made a very stupid mistake. the whole scene is now an interlude in fantasy romance wip.

2. If your story was a TV show, what would the theme song/intro be?

no clue, honestly. shout out to queen's deception from the destiny soundtrack though, it'd have a similar vibe.

3. Who are your favourite characters you've made? Why?

from fantasy romance wip? im risking being obvious here, but its between loifa and rowan. probably rowan, i think. the boy is just trying SO hard and loifa is just SO much to deal with. tbh he has older sister energy and i sympathize with that.

4. What other pieces of media do you think would share a fan base for your story?

that's a very interesting question. my wip is mostly inspired by the fifth season and ffxiv, but in very different ways, so it's hard for me to say that ppl who liked both would like it. bc you know... fantasy romance wip is a romance (allegedly!)... and the fifth season and ffxiv aren't...

lots of animals!! or beasts in general. good honest folk (cows, horses, sheep just minding their business and being slaughtered for no good reason by Things) and the mischievous crowd (carnivorous deer, three eyed owls, said Things), etc. no little guys to speak of so far, though.

7. How do your characters get around? (ex: trains, horses, cars, dragons, etc.)

on foot. there are only like two horses left in the marrow (the village) and they are working horses, so they arent used for travel/getting around.

8. What part of your wip are you working on rn?

- In every life she has, she’s Beedle’s sister, and they’re almost always besties!! While they often have different lifestyles they still make time to hang out

- Ethie and Link have some kinda soulmate thing going on, whether it’s just as friends or as something more romantic. In every timeline though, Ethie crushes on him hard

- Sometimes she’s more stereotypically domestic like in the Windwaker or Skyward Sword timelines, but oftentimes she winds up being devoted to a craft of some sort!

- She’s tiny, like, even shorter than Link. Gets mistaken for a child a lot bc of this (just like me fr)

- Super strong!! Always!

- Loves nature, loves bugs, doesn’t always love fighting but is very good at it anyway. More into light swords than anything, but is very good with a bow and arrow too

- Her horse of choice (if she has one) is usually named after a food, not keeping a consistent name like Epona

BotW:

- Ethie is a blacksmith! She lives in one of the Bolson homes in Hateno (although the layout is a little different in my HC)

- She travels often, making deliveries all over Hyrule rather than having her customers need to come to her. She enjoys it, especially loving being able to explore for ores/materials and stay at the cozy stables

- She has a horse named Parsnip, because her color scheme matches one (She tames Zelda's old horse, thinking it's just another random wild horse lmao)

- Her parents are farmers that also live in Hateno, and she meets Link while they’re ogling over the Hero of Hyrule coming to their little village (her dad instantly recognized him, but her mom was skeptical and had to warm up to the idea of it really being him a bit)

- They hit it off as buddies and travel together, since Ethie usually has deliveries to make wherever Link is going anyway

- She’s small and angry and easy to tease, like a chihuahua, but like she has to be if she wants to get by looking like an easy prey for monsters and creeps!!

- Because of this, when she starts having feelings for Link, she gets tsundere about it. Because of course she does!! She feels scared and vulnerable and she’s never rly been the romantic type

- Speaking of which, in BotW times, Link and Ethie never “get together” (they don’t do anything beyond hugging and holding hands sometimes), but they’re both crazy about each other. They’re just fucking idiots and can’t see that the other reciprocates

- When Link goes to fight Ganon, she goes with him. After, Zelda offers for Ethie to be her personal knight as well, given how good of a fighter Ethie is (and also just wanting some female companionship rather than being stuck with Link all the time again lmao)

- Ethie declines, but agrees to go on more important/dangerous trips with Zelda and Link when need be

- Ethie goes with Link and Zelda the day they “disappear.” Didn’t fall in the hole with Zelda, watched awestruck as Rauru just suddenly appeared to save Link

- She waits on the Sky Island for Link to wake up/Zelda to hopefully come back. At this point she and Zelda are close friends, so she’s just as worried about her, but is mostly focused on making sure Link doesn’t literally die

- Rauru obviously helps Ethie learn how to live (without a cool hand or magic or whatever) on the islands, and even helps her find or make her own cool Zonai clothes to wear

- They become close friends!! Rauru actually enjoys her company a lot more than Ethie realizes (he’s mostly excited to have a friend that isn’t dead or a robot though fkdkvemdkw)

- When Link finally wakes up, she helps Rauru teach Link how to get by. When they’re back on mainland, she accompanies him the whole journey to find Zelda, putting her smithing duties (aside from experimenting with ancient weapons she learned about in the sky) on hold until further notice

2. When I think I truly started to like them (or dislike them, if you've sent me a character I don't like)

Kenjaku: After I started posting about them. At first I thought they provided enough material to joke about, but now I genuinely enjoy their character. The thing is, I binge read most of the jjk manga so I didn't get to fully process a lot of things until I was forced to slow down.

I enjoy brainiac characters who like testing the limits and think outside the box. If they were a better person, they'd be my type hahahah

Sukuna and Uraume: I don't feel strongly about either of them. Naoya and Mahito make me feel more mad than Sukuna, so yeah, he could definitely be less of a basic villain. Uraume is his saving grace in my opinion. I like them better

Yuuji: Immediately. The baby boy is too good and pure for this world, definitely didn't deserve all that crap happening to him.

11. What’s the first thing you think about when thinking about the character?

Kenjaku: "Mastermind"

Sukuna: "Heh, you could do better worse"

Uraume: "Simp"

He's a genuine friend to everyone he's ever befriended, so it really depends on the other party. While he and Megumi have their moments, I think Megumi is still way too stiff around him, so Yuuji and Nobara

18. How do you think they were as a kid? (Like, were they shy, noisy, wild, etc)

Kenjaku: too curious for their own good. Probably had shown signs of psychopathy early on but has learnt how to hide them and adapt to their surroundings as they grew up

Sukuna: bratty, noisy because he wanted attention, maybe misunderstood, kinda cruel

Uraume: that weirdo in the corner that watches your every move and is very obvious they are judging you despite their blank expression. Very quiet, nobody hears them getting closer so when people finally notice Uraume it scares the crap out of them. Basically could serve as an inspiration for those weird kids in horror movies

20. A weird headcanon

Kenjaku: Boy, can they walk in heels. Can do some competitive acrobatics level shit in them, no joke. However, they see their skill as nothing special and are confused by those who are mesmerised by it. Kenny still prefers flat footwear

Sukuna: Heard rap music while being in Yuujj body, liked it, could rap super fast if he wanted to. Spoiler alert: he doesn't

Uraume: they know how to knit and do that as a stress reliever. Whenever someone dares to tease them about it they just stab them with one of the needles (or both).

Kenjaku, Sukuna, Uraume: Kenny will show up only to annoy the other two.

Ok besides, you know, I think he has a hard time talking about his emotions. He processes them on his own and then brings up the conclusion he's come up with, for example that he has to die, or that he can't go back to jujutsu high after everything he (sukuna) has done. He doesn't speak of his loneliness, or how scared he is or whatever he feels in general.

Speaking of which, I doubt he'd be able to speak about liking someone/being in love too. Maybe with Nobara, but only if she's suspicious and really presses him about it.

28. The most unnecessary thing they ever did?

Kenjaku: There's plenty because: 1) they are old and 2) they have the 'let's fuck around (sometimes quite literally) and find out' attitude from time to time. But knowing them, they probably got someone pregnant and later realized it was for nothing (them and their pregnancy fixation smh)

Sukuna: waited for Yuuji to switch back after he defeated the finger bearer lol

Uraume: Gave their best to prepare a meal for Sukuna that he didn't want to eat. I can't imagine Uraume doing anything other that because they are very efficient and wouldn't want to waste time

29. How do you think they would be as a parent? (and if they are a parent, how do you think they would be if they weren't?)

Yuuji: the most loving, supportive (and confused) dad ever. If he had a daughter and she gave him the puppy look, he'd be a goner in mere seconds. He'd be strict very rarely and in that scenario his kids would have know they really fucked up. Like "we made dad mad... damn". Yeah, I headcanon that he'd have more than one kid for sure. He'd be forgetful (not saying he'd forget one of his kids somewhere lmao) and wouldn't be able to multitask for the life of him. But his children would prefer his cooking over their other parent's.

Basically crimeboys are humans who were abducted into space and eventually like escaped. the kidnappers were less evil than in other aus ive read like they treated them like ppl would treat like lab animals i guess but like. they discovered they were sentient or smrh and still kept them and taught them to speak their language instead of letting them go like ppl. Anyway so bc of that they have a bit of an advantage existint in space i guess.

the actual story starts with them both staying in a random persons house bc thats basically what theyve been doing since they escaped. also the random person in this instance is eret. an uhhh they have also stolen like illegal documents ir smth like thag in an attempt to try snd get back to earth and eret finds them and is like Omg im harbouring criminals ! and fucking gets them arrested (haha get it its like when that happened in . lmanberg. or smth haha)

Anyway uhhh so they are in JAIL!!! uhh fuckin idk i guess they hid they were human somehow so they were shitting themselves bc they dont know how theyll be treated? i guess idk anyeay tommys cell has an escape and is like Omg wilbur ill come back for you king and so he leaves and breaks into erets house and confronts eret while hes there and also explains fhe situation and erets like OMG SHIT IM SORRY so tommy takes his shit and leaves .

uhh wikburs stilll in jail and jack manifolds also there and he keeps going on about how his poweful friends will come get him out Yeah yeah weve all heard that before. anyway a spaceship breaks into the jail and saves jack LOL. SO I spent $180 and saved $130 which is honestly not that great in my opinion but could have been worse. I once got a pair of American Eagle jeans for $0.01 and I’ve been trying to achieve that high ever since.

It was so nice (except in the snow/rain) but when it was nice it was cool everything was close by and walkable (I grew up in a rural-ish area so you had to drive to get anywhere).

I wasn’t full blown tomboy but my dad instilled Boston sports in my blood. I played soccer, softball, and volleyball for major periods of time in my life. Soccer was my favorite but ruined my ankles :( I loved fielding but hated batting in softball. Volleyball was by far the most fun but I wasn’t very good. I enjoyed back row. I love watching most sports 💕 I can cheer on any team the bar has a consensus of rooting for when I go out 🤣

I’m dying about the nose. But I love that for you 💕 I hope you get to see him more in the coming week. I think I would swoon if he walked by me during class being attractive AND smart. I used to be a TA actually. I don’t think any of them thought I was hot but to be fair who would ever like the weird math nerd 😂 I used to make them review sheets with math puns (Sum-things to Know was how I reviewed the chapter on summations)
