Rip me we move in three days and forgot to list a shower curtain as a priority. But on the other hand, my favorite spearmint and eucalyptus Epsom salt is about four times cheaper than a curtain so 👀

Also my mom opted to buy us the pots and pans instead of the silverware, which isn't the worst because we could just use plastic cutlery until then, but we belatedly realized we have nothing to actually stir or flip things in said pots and pans so...oops.

really good grilled cheese

supplies:

small to medium sized pan

small bowl/ramekin

spatchy spatch

ingredients:

2 slices bread (your choice)

2 slices cheese (again your choice but something meltable and flavorful

4 teaspoons mayonnaise

garlic powder

onion powder

salt

pepper

meat (optional)

tillamook sharp cheddar square (optional)

instructions:

place pan on stove. turn stove on to medium (4 ish). put mayo in a ramekin along with seasonings to taste. coat each side of each slice of bread in fun mayo. fill with cheese and meat, one slice of cheese per bread with topping in the middle. toast each side to preferred brownness. watch over while cooking. serve with original ruffles and a little debbie snack for best results.

they take turns being the big spoon. being in ANBU is hard ok they BOTH need to be held

itachi confessed first but it was full of some long winded, fake deep bs and shisui just laughed and smooched him and went "same" (i hate them). anyway neither of them are very good with their words, so itachi shows his love with gifts while shisui shows it with touch <3

itachi first knew he was in love when he saw shisui and sasuke "training" together the first time. sasuke's chasing shisui around with a lil stick. and then shisui flickers behind him and sNATCHES him up and sasuke's LOSING HIS MIND.

meanwhile SHISUI first knew HE was in love when he saw itachi in battle the first time. he was all bloodied and his hair came loose and shisui went "haha i hope this doesn't waken something in me :)" (itachi, meanwhlie: "you should'a seen the other guy")

they have a little spot in the forest behind the uchiha compound that they call THEIR spot. nobody else really knows it exists but it's where they train and have quiet time and don't have to be shinobi. and they can just be shisui and itachi.

absolute GARBAGE at cooking. he can boil water and like, pour milk, and that's IT. his role in the kitchen is to hold the spatchy spatch and stir (it's an important job)

normally very self-sufficient since he pretty much raised himself, but he becomes absolutely HELPLESS when he's sick. he only gets sick like one day every year but it falls around the same time every year. everybody draws straws to see who has to take care of him this year.

He only liked your physical appearance didn't care about any other thing. You stuck to the schedule which was a bonus.

He's only ever made himself a PB&j and he's darn good at it. Goodest boy at making PBJ. Didn't really expect you to go full chef on him when he was living in the walls. Even when it was frozen in the freezer it still tasted fresh.

It reminded him when his parents had a personal chef for them each day. That ended quickly when the whole fire started and they had to cut down on the staff. In order to keep their secret a little secret.

You are literally the only person who can prepare a vegetable well enough that he would gladly eat it. He's not totally against his vegetables but certain things that just taste gross he will throw a tantrum if made to eat them.

His absolute favorite dish is a spaghetti dish that's kind of like a hot dish or casserole. It has been a staple for your household ever since you made it. It's literally a bribing tactic now.

He also likes the ability to have a variety for breakfast. The pastries you make are amazing to him with the variety of muffins, biscuits, souffles, and breakfast cakes.

Whenever you're in the kitchen he tries to be your little sous chef with his spatchy spatchy in hand ready to stir something. Makes an amazing taste tester but not too much to spoil his dinner.

You eventually had to assign your own apron and special hat for whenever he assists in cooking. The doll has to have one as well in order to complete the schedule. Speaking of schedules he has to incorporate that.

He's not even mad on leftover day because every food he has before coming out of the wall was a leftover. Each leftover taste as if it was just made. He has no complaints.

Lastly he will throw a tantrum if he doesn't get to assist in any way with the preparation and/or cooking. Even if it's just a stand there and hold the cookbook he's gladly the best cookbook holder in the world.

I saw this on Pinterest and it said “Me watching my husband cook a bomb 4-course meal while I stand there with my spatchy-spatchy ready to stir something” and I immediately thought of Harry it was also a picture of baby yoda holding a spatula

STOP I JUST SCREAMED

“Oregano, please.” 

You pass Harry the oregano.

“Barley.”

The little plastic bottle slides down the counter into his awaiting hand.

“Paprika.”

You walk over with the last condiment, handing it over into his open palm, his eyes trained on the sauce simmering inside the pot as his other hand slowly mixes all of the ingredients together with a wooden spoon.

You lean over, peeking inside to see how everything’s going, getting a whiff of the delicious aroma that is gradually starting to fill the kitchen. “God, that smells really good. Where’d you learn how to make this?”

Harry uncaps the paprika with his thumb, tapping at the container with his index finger and sprinkling a decent amount into the center of the sauce. The corners of his lips twitch into a satisfied, self-assured grin at your praise. “From a friend those couple of weeks I spent in Italy.”

“You can practically open your own restaurant now.” You quip jokingly, resting your head on his shoulder as you watch him fold the spice into the thick liquid until it dissolves completely.

Harry turns his head, planting a quick kiss to the top of your hair. “Yeah? Would you be my sous-chef?”

You snort in amusement. “You know I can barely cook for shit. Unless you want Mac n’ Cheese to be the only dish on the menu, I suggest you find someone better qualified.”

A spontaneous giggle bubbles from the pit of Harry’s tummy and you can feel him smiling against your scalp. “Oh, c’mon, don’t be so down on yourself like that. I bet you’d do just fine.”

“Harry, I’d set the kitchen on fire.”

He shrugs lightly. “It’d give the food that genuine smokey flavor.”

You draw back, giving him a knowing look.

Harry arches his eyebrows nonchalantly, taking a swift glance back inside the sauce pan and then back at the teasingly disagreeing cinch in your brows. “Here, mix this for me for a bit while I go get the pasta.”

You gingerly take the wooden spoon from his grasp, stirring in gradual circles the same way he had. Harry disappears into the pantry, leaving you alone with the bubbling concoction.

“How do I know when it’s done?” You call out over your shoulder.

His voice chimes back, somewhat muffled. “When the mushrooms are soft.”

Your head recoils a bit at the guideline. “Am I supposed to just...take one out and, like, squish it?”

“Take one onto the spoon and if it’s dark and kinda soggy-looking, then it’s perfect.”

You obey his directions, leaning forward instinctively and squinting at the chunk of vegetable. “I think it’s good.”

“Alright, turn it off and move the pot onto a cool burner.”

You do as told, standing over the dish with the spoon still submerged and your eyes watering a tad at the steam.

Harry returns with a box of penne pasta, shaking it in the air for playful emphasis. He then glimpses at the sauce, nodding approvingly. “See, that wasn’t so hard, was it?”

You narrow your eyes at him pointedly. “It was basically finished when you let me have it.”

“And did you burn it?”

“No...”

“Told you you’d be fine.”
