Bio: A conscript from a young age, Carter doesn’t remember much of his life before the Spartan program, or if he does, he certainly doesn’t talk about it. As far as he is concerned, Noble is his family and it is his privilege and burden to lead them.

Appearance: Short, close-cropped, dark hair, bright blue eyes, and blue armor, it’s hard telling what is underneath that armor because the man is, it seems, perpetually in action.

The worm-like collection watches the Spartan curiously, collective synapses firing as they begin to rumble. "Home..." They vibrate softly. "Miss home..."

A Spartan on guard duty means whatever needs guarding is nasty. Still, it hasn’t moved much, and it certainly hasn’t made a sound… ‘til now.

“The fu—what?” He turns from his post, one brow rising, invisible behind the visor of his helmet, but something in his body language conveys the bewilderment.

“Noble One to Hub,” he speaks, tapping his comm, “I think this thing just talked.”

“Impossible, Noble One; the worm colony inside that armor is incapable of speech. Maybe you should switch out with one of your teammates, get some sleep.”

“Negative, Hub. I’m good.” He switches off the comm before they hub can offer more “advice”.
