We finally know the full layout of the canon Frozenverse!

Thanks to this post (requires an account) by twitter-user ann_mochi and this tumblr-post by @sparebutton , we FINALLY have a full map of the known Fozen movie-universe!

Previously, we've seen glimpses of the general geography of Arendelle and the surrounding lands from Frozen Fever, Frozen II and in books and promotion material surrounding the movies and I even wrote a 3-part series about Frozen's geography back in 2021, but never before has there been a source showing Anna and Elsa's world to its full extent and in such detail!

Thanks to this image being framed and hung on a wall, the process of aligning it correctly was very easy! I used my ancient copy of SketchUp to edit and match the photo to a flat surface and with the help of Gigapixel upscaling, this is the result!

Note: north is to the left.

It looks awesome IMO 😍

For future installments, what we're missing are labels for other adjacent kingdoms, but it appears Disney never seems to bother with such trivial worldbuilding details.

Below, I've put together a quick overview of the areas visible on previous Frozen maps.

The Frozen Fever map mostly covers ocean. The northern half of the continent was changed in Frozen II.

Iduna's map from Frozen II map was the most detailed version we had for a long time and it added things like borders and names for the Arenfjord and the Dark Sea. It covers 3/4 the full map.

Technically, the whole map was also featured in the books "Frozen: The Saga - Anna and Elsa's Journey" and "Frozen II: Spirits of the Enchanted Forest" but it was impossible to attempt any sort of aligning because of the distorted perspective.

There is one more piece of the worldbuilding-puzzle (Weselton) that could be added, but I'll save that for another time.

It’s hard to believe we’ve had ten years of Frozen!

To celebrate, I participated in a collab with some friends in honor of the anniversary of this film so many of us hold dear to our hearts.

For my part of the collab, I drew Anna! :)

She’s always been one of my favorites to draw, I think it’s because I relate to her so much! It was so fun getting to work with other talented artists. Here’s to ten years and more of Frozen!

Additional book finds at Frozen Kingdom Fantasy Springs!

In this photo shared by @sparebutton in this fantastic post, you can see a book titled "Reindeer ventriloquism for fun and profit", a reference to a book that Kristoff reads in the short story "The Ice Games" which originated in the story collection "Spring Fever" in 2015!

Maybe Anna's book is hidden somewhere in the park as well.

Furthermore, the other two titles shown are old Swedish books:

The second book from the right is "Femtio års fälttåg Frälsningsarmén i Sverige 1882-1932" by Evald Malmström (1932). It's a recollection of the activities of the Swedish Salvation Army during 50 years time.

The last book is "Djurlivets under" (The wonders of Animal life) by Raoul Heinrich Francé, an Austria-Hungarian botanist and author (1940).

In another pic, also by @sparebutton, you can see a book called "Samlade skrifter Del 6-7" (Collected works Part 6-7) by celebrated Norwegian author Jonas Lie (1908-1911). The book shown is the Swedish edition.

Ok I read your headcanon and so prompt - Elsa and Anna swap bodies by mistake and neither one of them know why

I’ve already written a funny Frozen body swap, but here we go again coz it’s fun!

“This is horrible! This is terrible!” Exclaimed Anna, however in Elsa’s voice as she was using her vocal chords. “How the hell did you live like this? Every emotion I have make it buzz in my veins--” 

“Thanks for reminding a big part of my life that I wish to forget.” Sighed Elsa. 

Her sassy and grumpy tone sounded weird with Anna’s voice, and it made Kristoff think that if Gerda or Kai was coming in the room they had locked themselves in, they would totally see that something was up because they knew them since they were born. 

“Sorry.” Winced Anna - again in a very Anna way, that Kristoff recognized, and which really didn’t fit Elsa’s face - “I didn’t mean to be rude. Only... Damn, even when we talked about it since the Great Thaw, and despite all the details you put when explaining how difficult it is to channel your magic in your body, this is... Crazy. I never thought it would be like that.” 

Elsa puffed. “Well, now you know.” 

The man shrugged. “As they say, walk a mile in her shoes...” 

Anna shivered. “I don’t even need to walk to feel how insane that is.” She clenched her fists. “It took us 20 minutes to make me calm down and try not to freeze the room, and yet I can feel it roam in me like--” 

“It’s alive on itself.” Finished Elsa, saying the same thing at the same time. “Yeah, I know. But I’m quite proud of how you manage to control it. I’m figuring that your positivity helps, while my depression and anxiety on my side really made it all worse.” 

Anna bend her head with a sad expression. Elsa felt sad too and frowned. “Wait, did you just shiver? Are you feeling cold?” 

“No, no it’s fine.” Assured the younger. She then smiled. “Of course I’m not cold. Gosh, one more thing I totally get now that I’m in your skin. That’s so odd, it’s like I don’t even care about draughts... Anyway, I was just shivering because it’s really disturbing to be in someone else’s body. You’re shivering too, no?” 

Elsa gave a sad smirk, her already crossed arms closing even more. “That’s because I’m genuinely cold.” 

Anna widened up Elsa’s blue eyes in a snap. “Oh, right!! Because I made the room’s temperature fall! I’m so sorry...”

“It’s okay, Anna.” Giggled her elder. “You couldn’t know.” 

Something shifted next to her and when she turned, she saw that Kristoff had taken out his ice harvester coat and was quickly putting it around her shoulders. Elsa blushed and her sister grinned at the gesture. 

“Uhm... Thank you.” She murmured timidly. 

“That should be better.” He smiled. 

“Now that’s awkward.” Murmured Elsa even lower. 

Anna smirked - now that was something not too uncommon to see on the blonde’s face - and looked at her state. “What’s awkward? Kristoff’s care or the whole situation?” 

She received a grumpy look of her own eyes right back at her. “Shut up.”
