Raptor has a lot of daydreams about Spada, and in a side special she dreams of kissing him. Spada is very protective of Raptor and only wants the best for her. Spada often tries to play off his protectiveness as looking out for her but he becomes very flustered when he sees her in possible romantic scenarios with other people. Raptor also cries on Spada and they declare that they want to continue to live for each other. They come across as being in love and it's very teased but they never say it directly. Well Spada literally yells he feels "paternal" towards her (she is 3 years younger but he is 28) and then later we literally have their team members pushing them together. In the big battle scene they "die" together, and they're the only straight couple that do? Everyone else that dies together is in a gay relationship (although oddly enough, also organic/nonorganic) FOR SOME REASON this is just like. madly slept on in the toku fandom??? There's like 5 fics in there? Like for sure, BALANCE AND NAGA. But come on! Spada and Raptor are so cute together! The poetic injustice of Spada being the greatest cook in the universe vs Raptor who cannot eat?? The fact that Raptor wanted to be a hero SO BAD she made SURE the prophecy included her through sheer force of will?? The ORIGINAL prophecy too! She was the ninth! Battle couple!! Kyurangers react to suddenly seeing Raptor's dreams about the boys (Lucky, Tsurugi, Spada, Stinger, and Shou Ronpou) confessing their love to her in various states of dress AND lack of clothes.

I know Koutaro would just leave right then and there.

Cue everyone's souls leaving their bodies from horror + shock

Kyurangers Vs. Space Squad.

I love the fact that they realized that Hammie was a very underdeveloped character, in fact the whole Kyuranger story really did not give her a chance to develop, when even Spada had bits and pieces of development scattered here and there.

In fact the only piece of development I remember for her was hinged on her being a fan of a male idol.

Hence why we got her betraying everyone, under duress, in Vs. Space Squad.

I just think that Balance, Garu, Kotaro, and Spada were given a chance to develop here as well. Among the twelve Kyurangers, there five, Hammie included, were the most under developed characters in the whole series.

One could even argue that Kotaro had the most development among the five of them but it’s nothing compared to the development Raptor or even Naga went through.

Good on them of realizing Hammie need more story beats in order for her character to develop.

Yeah, I got a fascinatingly large number of prompts with...women at all...compared to my usual. Apart from Kiriko/Shinnosuke and Akari/Takeru, I also got prompts for:

Gotou/Date/Satonaka

Spada/Raptor/Lucky

Obviously they aren't all strictly M/F, but still, more women in general! (And one F/F prompt from someone whose brain must be absolutely massive and wrinkly, which I'm not revealing here because I want to work on it today and have it be a surprise.) I may not write all of them, because in general I am not writing every single smut prompt I got, but it was definitely a surprise.
