Raptor has a lot of daydreams about Spada, and in a side special she dreams of kissing him. Spada is very protective of Raptor and only wants the best for her. Spada often tries to play off his protectiveness as looking out for her but he becomes very flustered when he sees her in possible romantic scenarios with other people. Raptor also cries on Spada and they declare that they want to continue to live for each other. They come across as being in love and it's very teased but they never say it directly. Well Spada literally yells he feels "paternal" towards her (she is 3 years younger but he is 28) and then later we literally have their team members pushing them together. In the big battle scene they "die" together, and they're the only straight couple that do? Everyone else that dies together is in a gay relationship (although oddly enough, also organic/nonorganic) FOR SOME REASON this is just like. madly slept on in the toku fandom??? There's like 5 fics in there? Like for sure, BALANCE AND NAGA. But come on! Spada and Raptor are so cute together! The poetic injustice of Spada being the greatest cook in the universe vs Raptor who cannot eat?? The fact that Raptor wanted to be a hero SO BAD she made SURE the prophecy included her through sheer force of will?? The ORIGINAL prophecy too! She was the ninth! Battle couple!!
