Honestly the fact that he likes humans probably makes him more effective against them. I feel like the other demons don’t bother to figure out how humans work beyond knowing their more extreme baser urges, meanwhile Crowley noticed years ago how “being annoyed” works and realized he could exploit this.

i never get that last bit, if i had gone into the field i would’ve been *delighted* if a patient knew about whatever treatment i thought would help? like it saves me from explaining shit and they already have an idea of what to expect. everyone wins?

it’s the same with physical ailments so i can’t even try “maybe they think knowing ab the treatment will bias my brain or some shit” bc then you’d have to conclude that docs think a cast won’t help a bone mend if the patient suggests it

but at the end of the day so long as the doc puts the cast on right my busted arm will probably get better and once they take it off we’re done, but long-term health like a lot of psych stuff requires a relationship built on respect and not one smarty smart lecturing the slab of meat until their words of wisdom make the bad brain chemistry go bye-bye

AAH THANK I’m still wondering whether I’m going to wear it with black trousers or go way out of my original plan and buy a skirt, because I haven’t worn a skirt willingly...ever in my life, but a waistcoat and long skirt is Aesthetic as shit. Idk, there’s gender weirdness in there too. But I’m just happy it all arrived and fits at the minute :D
