Ok #gearcheck done for the @freshtrailstracks backyard ultra #trail tomorrow morning. Just put in some #pepperspray cause theres some mean #squirrels in my #garden some money to pay for #trail access and #spaceblanket cause it may get #freezing at this #altitude of 27m asl 🤔😂 For the rest my trusty shorts, trucker cap, top and pack and @falke_sa socks and leading the way my @altrarunning lone peak 4s. Probably their last run as their support is shot and I ordered some #timp 2.0 yaaaay Will be starting at 0600 so my @petzlrunning Tikka rxp will light the way for the firat hour or so and then my #awesome @oakley Siphons will protect my eyes for the rest of the way! Emergency Blanket. I can not stress how important it is to have this blanket. this blanket will be an important factor in keeping you in good shape and out of the way of hypothermia  . if you are in wet cold conditions without the proper clothing this will save your life. and more over you can use it as a shelter to sleep under like a tent as well.

Cocinar en manta emergencia y papel aluminio. / Cooking in emergency blanket and foil. Es una utilidad que sólo deberíamos aprovechar en caso de verdadera necesidad. Consideraciones al cocinar sobre la manta de emergencia: - La manta está fabricada en plástico, no en aluminio, por lo que el calor del fuego puede provocar que ciertos componentes químicos de dicho plástico se desprendan a los alimentos, de ahí que su uso lo debemos restringir a un caso de verdadera supervivencia. - Otro inconveniente es que debemos ser extremadamente evitando que la llama sobrepase el nivel del plástico que alberga agua, ya que de hacerlo, ésta se derretirá de inmediato, y podrá perder lo cocinado y el fuego que tanto nos ha podido costar encender. - Para tener la llama controlada y evitar que ésta se derrita si la ésta sobrepasa el nivel del líquido, recomiendo cocinar con un fuego muy pequeño, mucho más fácil de concentrar en un punto concreto. - Si no la hemos recortado para preparar el recipiente, tras su uso para hervir o cocinar, podremos continuar empleándola como manta sin ningún problema.
