Fun Space Riders Zeus and Jack facts
(Warning these might implicate past abuse or trauma)
Space riders au belongs to @onyxonline
Jack is as small as a mini critter & Zeus is three times his height
Jack has a missing eye and wears an eye patch.
Jack loves to go into a southern cowboy accent when angry but it makes Zeus migraine him seriously.
Jack had at least 3 hidden weapons on him.
Zeus has the mindset of a child though he’s like 20. Yes he is smart but certain things confuse him ( cult didn’t want him to get smart and want to leave)
Thanks to @missparamelontea Zeus’s weapon is a frying pan. Jack gave it to him cause Zeus is too scared to hold a gun or knife.
Zeus refuses to use violence against anyone due to growing up in the cult. ( trauma)
Zeus can stretch at least 15 feet with his long leg limbs.
Jack drinks alcohol but not infront of Zeus.
Jack is like a Chihuahua when angry.
Zeus is a sugar hoarder. He will hide candy and eat it all unless Jack stops him. Cause once Zeus has candy in him he’s bouncing off the walls.
Zeus has a fear of people drinking.
Jack will listen to your problems but won’t admit his own.
Zeus refuses to to admit something is wrong cause he doesn’t want anyone to worry.
Zeus has a stuffed animal as a comfort toy cause he has anxiety attacks and he can get aggressive if not calmed down ( thinking like mommy long legs rage)
Zeus sounds like a squeaky toy when he screams.
I will add more or do a part two later.
If you have any questions dm me or send me an ask.

A guide through Toby Stephens’ filmography for Percy Jackson fans.
If you’ve only just discovered Toby as Poseidon and want more than 10 minutes of that face, here’s where to start!
Tumblr media
If you’d be into Poseidon trying to make up for his absence and trying to win Sally and Percy back while fighting to survive in outer space, look no further! Watch Lost In Space on Netflix! It’s full of adventure, family, a but of angst and lots of DAD!
Tumblr media
If you’d be more into Poseidon going full Odysseus on Zeus for taking everything from him and then calling him a monster while Medusa takes revenge, do yourself a favor and watch Black Sails! Peak TV. Queer af. Made by Jon Steinberg. [Trigger warnings]
Tumblr media
If Sally and Poseidon pining is your thing and you love your Charlotte Brontë, watch the 2006 Jane Eyre with #RuthWilson and #TobyStephens! So much romance, angst and mutual eyefucking… warning: You WILL fall in love with a douchebag! Sorry for that!
Tumblr media
Shakespeare Poseidon anyone? A very young and extremely pretty Toby Stephens as Duke Orsino in Twelfth Night. Lots of pining, genderfluidity, confusion and sparks. SPARKS! And a bathtub that will rewire your brain. Something something LGBT will definitely happen to you!
Tumblr media
Finally if you love something face paced and modern with great teenage heroes, give Alex Rider on Prime a watch! Toby Stephens is a brilliant villain in S2 with loads of Elon Musk vibes. Poseidon the media mogul asshole? Maybe.
Tumblr media
Other highly recommended things from Toby Stephens’ backlist: Cambridge Spies, Photographing Fairies, The Tenant of Wildfell Hall, Mangal Pandey and Agatha Christie’s And Then There Were None.

You are magnificent and Your grace protects me in the face of evil. Mighty Thor, wise, compassionate Friend of humanity, look upon us and wield Your hammer for our protection. Gracious Sif, You Whose gentle touch causes the grain to grow, please nourish us, restore us, and grant us the fortitude to walk in alignment with the Holy Powers always. Through Your blessings, may we grow strong in faith. through Your blessings may we grow strong in devotion. Through Your blessings, may we always resist impiety, may we be nourished as the grain is nourished under Your caring hands. In times of peril, come to our aid, I pray. In times of desperation, I place myself under Your care.nHail Thor, Son of Odin. Hail Sif, His Gracious Bride.
To Thor
Son of Strength. I ask you to grant me that strength. That I may lift the weight of the day. Defender of Midgard. Grant me your skill in battle. That I may protect my family, my land and my kin. Bringer of Rain and Thunder. Grant me the ability to wash the weariness and pain of my daily work. That I do not break from the blows of misfortune. That I may not be crushed by the powerful. That I may be resilient and mighty like your own arm. That I may be brave to face the evil of this world. "It seems as if there's a problem concerning your Rider."
Tumblr media
"For some reason, the majority vote for RIDER was on corrupted Servant data that can't be properly summoned. I wonder how it got in there in the first place. For data to get that corrupted, something truly awful must have happened… but that still didn't understand why it was chosen. It had no statistics, barely enough there to salvage a personality and abilities for even a fractured Spirit Origin, remnants of Foreigner-class data… it was a mess by all accounts. This wasn't a usable Servant, I thought I had made that clear. Perhaps you simply wanted to sabotage the other Team? Giving them something so mangled is quite a cruel way of doing so, but I suppose you are practicing magi..."
Tumblr media
"It didn't make any logical sense, but after processing it for a moment longer, I understood. You weren't trying to pick the corrupted Servant data for usage, you were simply alerting me to its presence so that I could properly purge it. Brilliant work from brilliant Wizards! No wonder you successfully completed the Preliminary war, such aptitude is to be expected from skilled hackers and masters of the virtual space like yourselves. Well, my greatest apologies for assuming that you'd do something so reckless like wantonly choose data that was repeatedly said to be corrupted and invalid."
Tumblr media
"Such a horrible blunder from me as an Administrator, I'll get to purging that disgusting data as soon as I can. Thank you so kindly for bringing it to my attention."
There was no fanfare. No alert. Simply the feeling of something becoming more and more lost. Not gone, but very much in danger of being forgotten.
Tumblr media
"It will take some time to fully sanitize and destroy the data, but it'd be cruel of me to simply throw away your answers. I'll consider this a 'redraw', redoing your poll with another Servant in the place of the corrupted data. Of course, as the results from your first poll seem to be going, you've firmly planted yourself on the Extra-class team, so consider this an advantage. Knowing the True Name and statistics of one of your enemies is quite the boon, after all. And even still, despite being enemies, you may be able to forge a bond with them."
Tumblr media
Alexander
The Prince of Macedonia, that would soon become one of the greatest generals known to history. He possesses a mount blessed by Zeus, a strong sense for tactics, and an indomitable spirit that would lead him to greatness. While not as strong as his adult counterpart, he's still a strategic savant with incredible potential and versatility as a Servant.

Weekend
Tumblr media
I always wake up to the mess on my work space and think to myself "I'll do it tomorrow" but then feel exhausted after the day ends and then I never do it.
Tumblr media
My family likes to steal the mandarinas when they are in season since we live in the fields.
Tumblr media
I went with my dad to sell of the recyclables. It pays out more than expected when we keep every single one until then.
Tumblr media
This is my dog, his name is Zeus. My dad made a shed that also doubled as his house so he sleeps there. He injured his leg recently because he was jumping on the fence while barking at another dog. He's not that smart.
Tumblr media
Some horse riders come by here and there around my house and my dogs go ballistic when they pass so we always keep the gate closed.
Tumblr media
I decided to walk on this road as a trip down memory lane so to speak. This was originally very torn apart but I guess the workers fixed that. This was also the same road where I crashed the truck into a tree back when I was newer to driving because it was next to a ditch.
Tumblr media
This was the ditch in question, it usually never looks this clean. Once when I came here with my sister, the entire surface at the bottom was covered in some white substance and we saw a dead possum on the ground. I was sad I could not find it again just to take the photo.
Tumblr media
My sisters and I decided to go on a trip so we went to Woodrow Park and I took some shots over there
Tumblr media
My sister's and I do not hang around together all the time ever since she moved out so it's nice to do things like this.
Tumblr media
Yes, my sister takes photos a lot. Every time a holiday comes out, she and my mom make me take like 80 of them.

Zeus Brundle Ch10 [6~10]
Tumblr media
resisting the urge to scold Lv.99 first! first! first!!! first listen to her excuse she'll accept the punishment obediently after that
So, Liz explained to him everything that happened: about Lucious, about him knowing about Zeus, about the brooch stuff…
Tumblr media
he's not cooperating even in this situation… don't do that……
Well, he did at least tell them about his earring and its ability to keep him from getting lost.
Tumblr media
As everyone's suspicions gathered in one place, Remb took out a picture book and another from his drawer. The picture book was 'The Prince and the Labyrinth', and the other book was…
Tumblr media Tumblr media
a history book of that sunken kingdom she saw underground it's definitely him but why is his expression so gloomy
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(some kind of magnificent sfx) well Luci was the prince but it didn't act as a big twist in the first place, so it didn't feel like a stab in the back at all if you want to stab me in the back more painfully, use your brain more Solmare
Tumblr media Tumblr media
huh this might be a little sad
Zeus said that the labyrinth itself is a simple structure, but you will eventually lose your mind due to the constant mental damage it inflicts. but when they met before, Luci didn't seem to be noticeably insane at least maybe he's not even allowed to lost his mind? it'd be easier for him if he lost his mind, so the curse made it impossible for him to even do that… something like that
As she was on the verge of tears, Zeus wiped her tears away with his thumb.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
erm what kind of remark is this I don't understand this vibe oi Mr. Brundle now is not the time to make a romantic scene like that, don't you think
Tumblr media
Anyway, Remb raised one question.
Tumblr media
also, how did he know that the Devil's Whisper was inside the brooch? was he able to sense it? is it true that Luci wants the Devil's Whispers in the first place? keep doubting ! !
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In the end, they had to run on the field. oh no
I don't know the exact range of the earring's guiding magic, but assuming it has a limited range, I suppose the fewer people involved, the better But if she simply returns after hearing all these stories, she (and I) will see herself as an inconsiderate free rider…
Tumblr media
I understand that she feels responsible, but well… is there enough space first there're three people excluding her: Al, Cae, and Klaus, is there enough space for three people to fit within one earring?
By the way, they both protest at the same time. huh…
Tumblr media
hmm you're P, right? no matter how I look at you, I don't think you're J at all
Tumblr media Tumblr media
oi Mr. Rembrandt you're talking as if they were experimental subjects, is it okay for a headmaster to say that
But Liz brightly shouted out her thanks to him. huh
Tumblr media Tumblr media
eh what wait what wait no way that's not what I think, right? that can't be true it's just a simple worry r i g h t ?
So they arrived at Illusion Station.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
um your tastes are quite bizarre…
Anyway, Cae, Al, and Hiro went ahead.
Tumblr media
eh what Klaus isn't following Hiro? eh what Klaus and Zeus are sticking together? oi Hiro!! come back!! come back and take him!!

Fruit Zeus likes Fruit Zeus
hai! Aruto jaaaaaaaaaa nai to!
(Aruto made a pun with Fruit Zeus in Kamen Rider Memory of Heroez, so yeah. XD That was when I realized that it could refer to a certain space god XD
to be fair, the enemy's name was Zeus Dopant)
...Everyone stares at Aruto in disappointment because it’s not even original anymore
Kouta is like “Wasn’t Fruit Jesus bad enough for you fuckers?!”

The second part of a request from TheLOAD from... a while back. The initial one was the Nix/Nokk/Knucker piece. This one took me a little longer for a few reasons. Mostly school reasons. And writer's block reasons,  which is why this is taking the place of the monthly preview. And because, for research, I had to re-read the entirety of Drakon by Daniel Ogden for information. For those not used to my pedantry, this is not an "in-canon" family tree of the Greek dragons, such as you might see in those huge Greek mythology family tree pictures that are on the internet (I've got a few in my favorites from waaaaayyyy back as well). Rather, this is a way of showing how the concept of the dragon came about throughout time and how other beings are related through those branching lines. Of course this is presented as a lot more neat than it probably should be. If it were truly accurate it would have interconnected lines all over the place and obscure the little lizards. Before we talk about what's on the tree let's talk about what's not on it. Though Odgen talks about every (and I mean every) slightly Draconic being in Greek and Roman mythology, I've opted to include a trimmed down version. Because some, like Medusa and Lamia, I personally do not consider dragons proper, and others like the goddess Keto are relatively obscure and probably only exist to explain the existence of a related being (like the ketea). Creatures like Chimera and Typhoeus are included because, while not usually serpentine or draconic, they are in effect dragons; horrible, vaguely reptilian monsters slain by a hero. Not every individual dragon is depicted, only the ones I thought pertinent to include. (warning: LONG)
To start with, a drakon is a snake. The Greeks used the word to refer to both huge monsters and mundane snakes. Drakon itself is derived from the word dérkomai and is believed to literally mean, "the one who sees". The hypnotizing power attributed to snakes is present in drakons, traditionally given the job of the sleepless guardian of treasure. Going back even further, we see that the drakon comes from two disparate cultural perceptions of snake, each of which is still present in its classical form.
Snake Goddess - One of the native precursors of the Greeks were the Minoans. They had more in common with their Egyptian and Near Eastern neighbors than the Italians and Balkans. From what little we can gather of their culture, it appears the snake was a symbol of the goddess. Whether or not it was any goddess in particular is unknown. This theme survives into ancient Greece, however. Athena often uses snakes as agents when acting with mortals, Hera uses them as well (the twin serpents who attempted to strangle Heracles and the Hydra), and Medea had a chariot pulled by snakes. Earth goddesses in particular are heavily associated with them. Python was a direct product of Gaia, and the snake was a divine symbol of Demeter, who also had a rad snake chariot. Even in mortal women, their dynamic with snakes and dragons is nurturing. Several heroines sing to snakes as their masculine counterparts steal the treasure they guard, fulfilling a nurturing role in comparison to the destructive masculine one. Here the snake is a guardian, a creature of the earth and everything beneath it, including gold and the dead. These dragons are usually not slain, but pacified by the presence of a woman. In addition, the beard is an originally Greek symbol associated with snakes, particularly those connected to the gods. This was quite possibly a signifier of their supernatural status above mundane serpents. The goddess depicted above isn't any one in particular, though her dress does pull from a statue of Athena holding a curled python.
Drakaina - One way in which the snake goddess has survived is in the drakaina. This word is simply the feminine form of drakon, but also encompasses the numerous beings characterized by having the upper body of a woman and the lower body of a drakon. Numerous beings in Greek mythology fit this theme, but the one I've focused on is the Scythian drakaina, a woman who intercepts Heracles during one of his labors and kidnaps some cows. She offers to return the cattle in exchange for a night of intercourse. And then Herc is off and we're told the three sons of that union go on to become kings of great renown in Scythia. Some authors interpret this as a Greek adaptation of a Scythian myth, with one of the key pieces of evidence being that the drakaina's name is Hora, meaning "Seasons". Regardless of whether or not this is a goddess, it is a story where the snake-woman is neither killed nor stolen from, instead given the prestige of being the founder of a line of kings.
PIE Chaos Serpent - From the Proto-Indo-Europeans up North, we get the dragon we're all more familiar with. Serpents of this breed, such as Apep, Tiamat, and Jormungand, are all enormous, destructive creatures allied with darkness and the unforgiving seas. They represent the primordial chaos from what order sprang out of, and often have a hand in trying to return the world to that way. One of the primary themes associated with them is the dragon slayer: a god or hero who fights a dragon to save something, be it a land or treasure or an Ethiopian princess.
Typhoeus - This guy, though significantly more humanoid and giant-like than any others, is the clearest example of a PIE chaos serpent in Greece. It does not get more typical than a giant snake (like) monster fighting a storm god. Typhoeus probably sprung from traditions where he was more serpentine, but gradually added other aspects. Such as his own storm god qualities. In Greece, gods associated with the winds are always given wings, save for Zeus. The two's battle is reflective of a battle between the terrible whirlwinds and lightning strikes and the calmer, helpful rain showers that enable humanity to survive.
And then we get to the drakon proper. Taking elements from both sides of the tree, the archetypal Greek drakon is an enormous, often monstrous serpent associated with both the underground and the waters in some way. They are agents of gods, most often goddesses, sent to battle heroes or guard priceless treasures. Sometimes they're killed, sometimes they're merely lulled to sleep by a helpful maiden. Rather than breathing fire (which everything from mechanical bulls to horses to giants do), they possess venoms and rows of sharp teeth. Mention of their terrible gazes is often made. This drakon has both a beard and a casque-like crown, common elements in drakon descriptions from Greece. Its face is much less serpentine, being modeled after a clay illustration of the Colchian dragon. This gives is a suitably monstrous look, as if it were being pealed from layers of mud.
Chimera - Despite its odd appearance, the chimera fits the pattern of a dragon terrorizing a countryside and being slain by a plucky hero. The chimera may in fact be the originator of the classical Saint George imagery, where the saint is depicted as towering over a crawling, pitiful dragon. A 3rd century mosaic from Imperial Rome may have started this trend. What makes her (because despite her mane the Chimera is a female) stand apart from all the rest is the sheer strangeness of her form compared to others. Especially the little goat that comes out of her back, like a rider. Which I had to cut for spacing reasons :(
Hydra - Another classical Greek dragon is the multi-headed hydra, who has given its name to a whole genre of creatures with more heads than they ought to have. In addition to having the attributes of a typical Greek drakon, the Hydra has two traits seen in Mesopotamian monsters as well. The first is the amount of heads. Having many heads is not as common in Greece as it is in the Near East, where the idea of an eleven-headed sea serpent pops up numerous times across several different cultures. The second is that the hydra, in its earliest mentioning by Hesiod, is said to have been raised by Hera specifically to combat Heracles. This same tactic is done by a few Mesopotamian gods. In their realm of influence, monsters are pawns of the gods, who send them out to do their bidding on Earth while they lounge in Heaven. Our Hydra may have been a later influence from Greece's neighbors to the East. Also, had to add in the crab that Hera also sends in to help the hydra. If this were a spec bio piece, I would make it a species of crab that evolved to clean the hydra of parasites.
Cetus - Sea monsters such as these are perhaps the furthest from the traditional Greek drakon, while still remaining core parts of the mythology. In form cetoi range from exaggerations of real whales and sharks to dog-headed serpents with frilly fins and ears. Or even animal-headed fish. Because they live underwater, they almost always function as tools of divine vengeance. Kinda hard to steal treasure underwater. Heavy metal tends to sink. While cetus was originally a word for any sea monster, it would eventually become the root of the scientific term cetacean: whales and dolphins.
But the tree doesn't end there. See, even after the culture we recognize as the Ancient Greeks and Romans faded, their dragons still lived on. Medieval Europe, with its glorification of Greco-Roman texts, derived many of their folk beliefs from their predecessors. Or, the people who they liked to imagine were there predecessors.
Draco - The Romans adopted the Greek drakon whole-clothe, like a lot of stuff. The only noteworthy original dragon to come out of the pre-Fall Roman era was the Dacian Draco. The Dacians used the image of a dragon as a standard during war-time, represented as a serpent with the head of a dog. When conquered, the Romans adopted this, possibly beginning the Western tradition of associating dragons with military power and identity. The dog-headed serpent would also survive to the modern period, showing up in descriptions of Balkan lamya.
Indian Drakon - Here begins a tradition in Greek and Roman literature that claimed that foreign parts were full of large, dangerous, and more interesting fauna than the mundane peninsula they were all stuck on. This is a common theme of humanity in general, where everyone you're not familiar with is teeming with exciting and ancient life. Just look at cryptozoology. India in particular was a favorite of Greek tall tales, being far away for journeys to be rare, but also rich and full of exotic animals. Philostratus populated India with three types of drakons: the lowly marsh, the silver hill, and the dazzling golden mountain drakons. They were typical in every respect, having enormous sizes, red crowns, beards, and guarding treasure beneath the earth. An interesting addition was that they were the mortal enemies of elephants. Being the largest land-animal (in real life), they made perfect prey for these humongous serpents. Feeding on them was fraught with peril, however, as the struggle between reptile and mammal could result in the death of either party, or both. To symbolize the foreignness of the drakon, I drew it as a sort of hybrid between the drakon and the Hindu naga.
Pliny's Drakon - This drakon is otherwise the same as the Indian, but is the start of another theme. As time went on, philosophers began taking more grounded looks at fantastical animals. While also perpetuating even more outrageous falsehoods. None was more popular than Pliny the Elder, hence the name. He believed that, while foreign drakons might be real, they were much more similar to the snakes of Greece than the monsters of legend. He scoffed at the crowns and hair they were adorned with. His Natural History was the first of many instances where the fantastical elements of the dragon were toned down to seem more palatable to a scientifically minded audience. It also introduced an interest into the life history of the dragons, treating them as real animals with lives beyond the myths. Our dragon up top evolved to resemble pythons, rather than the other way around to what probably happened in real life, where pythons were exaggerated to become dragons.
Then, we get two foreign influences, which would come to shape the modern definition of the European dragon. Christianity's influence cannot be understated here. As Jonathan Evans states in Medieval Folklore, the dragon came to be confused with several other desert animals. In Jewish and early Christian belief, desert animals were themselves demonic, living in inhospitable regions devoid of human life. Later, texts like Revelations would specifically denote dragons as heralds of evil, and even harbingers of Armageddon itself. This is in contrast to the morally neutral Leviathan. In the medieval era, dragons were beings of evil, without a doubt. Bestiaries were full of on the nose fables about how the natural lives of dragons. Like how they could not stand the breath of a panther (a symbol of Jesus Christ). Or how they could not catch birds that nested in the Peridexion tree (the tree being the church and the birds being Christians, who are safe from the devil so long as they do not stray from the arms of God). This is represented by a typical medieval devil, being brightly colorful and made in mockery of God's creations, aka a weird hybrid with a snake coming out of his butt. Then, the Germanic dragon. This is seen especially in Northern and Western Europe. The Germanic dragon is otherwise similar to the Greek, except that it began as a character of evil. Lindworms and other serpents are almost always antagonists, and there is no heroine who saves them from their fate of death. They also had a stronger connection to treasure. Greek dragons guarded treasure as a job, but the very existence of Germanic dragons is tied with their golden hoards. In addition, in Greek myths, getting transformed into an animal is usually the end of one's story. With the Germanic dragon, it's merely the beginning. Transformed dragons act as antagonists and moral lessons wrapped in one; a lesson to all to not be greedy. Germanic dragons, represented by the lindworm, reinforced their role as antagonists and agents of selfish evil.
Which finally brings us to the medieval dragon. In a way, this creature is a mix of everything above. The dragon is an animal and demon in one, simultaneously a figure of evil who spoils the land around them and a living being with its own life and needs. The medieval era also introduces the origin of dragons, showing them as having nests and young, not simply coming into existence out of the earth or sea like before. They also developed some less reptilian traits, like wings and hair. This was probably because of artistic traditions among the monks who wrote bestiaries rather than popular legend, which continued to conflate them with snakes and lizards and even crocodiles. This particular line of the tree would develop a life of its own, spreading far and wide across Europe and eventually reaching beyond the seas. Our modern conceptions of dragons are a whole 'nother story.

Space riders Zeus and Jacks abilities.
Space Riders belong to @onyxonline
Zeus’s ability comes from radios sounds. Zeus can tune into the sound frequency and use it to sound like a radio. He can mimic radio waves and he can even make a VERY loud radio noise that can temporarily make you deaf. BUT it comes with a price of him getting very dizzy and if not careful he can go dead I just added this cause I found out that space riders have powers. Zeus’s ability comes from radios. Zeus can tune into the frequency and use it to sound like a radio. He can mimic radio waves and he can even make a VERY loud radio noise that can temporarily make you deaf. BUT it comes with a price of him getting very dizzy. mimic voices but that too makes his own throat hurt like hell. He hates to use this ability though for anything other than fun cause of umm….( cough) his experience in the cult and they know about this ability. It was the only reason he was kept around until he was 13. (Cough)
Jack’s ability is electrical current tapping. He can jumpstart a car or de power an electrical lock. But that makes him have a bad headache. Bunny big brother takes sone meds after 😂
But yah. I might write something for these two goobers. Angst or fluff hehehe.

Fate and Phantasms #108: Iskandar
Tumblr media
Today on Fate and Phantasms we’re making Alexander unlily, a.k.a. Iskandar! The Macedonian Macerator is beefy as hell, but he’s also a swell guy in general- possibly history’s first himbo. I’m just happy that I now I can finally watch Tulok’s video without having to worry about accidentally plagiarizing his build months later. To summarize: Horse. Army. Lightning weapons. Let’s do this.
You can check out Iskandar’s build breakdown below the cut, or his character sheet over here!
Next up: Could someone with depression do this?! *warps time and space*
Race and Background
Iskandar’s got some of that good old Zeus blood in him, making him yet another Aasimar Noble. Protector Aasimar get Darkvision, Celestial Resistance to necrotic and radiant damage, Healing Hands for hands that do a bit of healing, and the Light cantrip for the sake of anyone not lucky enough to be born part god.
Also as a noble, you’re good at History and Persuasion. You managed to get Waver’s vote, if nothing else. Also, you’re a part of history, so that kind of feels like cheating.
Ability Scores
Your biggest power is quite literally the men you’ve inspired along the way, so make sure your Charisma is as high as possible. After that is Strength. your second biggest power is being ripped as shit. Third is Constitution to keep down your wine, then Dexterity. You’re not super limber any more, but keeping your guns out means you’re wearing medium armor. Your Wisdom isn’t that strong because Alexander the Great is not Alexander the Well-Behaved. Finally, dump Intelligence. You are smart, but more in a wisdomy sort of way, not a Wavery sort of way.
Class Levels
1. Paladin 1: Much like yourself, you’re good enough at magically slapping people with weapons to earn the vaunted title of paladin at level 1. This gives you Wisdom and Charisma save proficiency, as well as Athletics and Intimidation. You cut a scary figure, what can I say.
You can also use your Divine Sense to hunt down Caster’s abominations more easily, or Lay on Hands for yet another way to slap someone back to life.
2. Paladin 2: Second level paladins get a free fighting style. Grab Dueling for better one-handed stabbing. You also have a pike but that’s for later, because right now you’re also getting Spells. You can prepare and cast them with your Charisma, and right now you only have level one spell slots. Sadly none of the smites you get right now come with lightning damage, but at least it’s something. If you’d rather not worry about magic, you can spend all your spell slots on Divine Smites instead for raw radiant damage.
3. Barbarian 1: You’re charming, but you’re also buff as hell and not completely reasonable, so this isn’t that strange a mix. First level barbarians can Rage as a bonus action for extra damage, advantage on strength checks and saves, and even more damage resistances. You also get a bit of Unarmored Defense that we won’t be using.
As an Aasimar, this is the level your Radiant Soul kicks in, giving you a flying speed and extra radiant damage once per turn for a minute. You can use this once per long rest. I know technically the horse should be flying, but we’ll take it where we can get it.
4. Barbarian 2: Second level barbarians get Reckless Attacks; gaining advantage on your weapon attacks in exchange for giving advantage as well. You can also use your Danger Sense for advantage on dexterity saves.
5. Barbarian 3: As a third level barbarian you can summon the beginnings of your Ionioi Hetairoi thanks to your Ancestral Guardian subclass. When you rage, you can summon Ancestral Protectors that make it harder for creatures to target anything other than you. They target the first creature you hit each turn, and any other creature that takes damage from them has resistance to it. You tend to be the center of attention, after all.
You also get a bit of Primal Knowledge for proficiency in Animal Handling. You’re a rider, you should know how to... y’know, ride.
6. Paladin 3: Third level paladins also get their subclass, and if you remember your childhood the Oath of Glory should be nothing new to you. Your Divine Health makes you immune to disease, and you get to Channel Divinity in two ways, once per short rest. You can either become a Peerless Athlete for advantage on athletics and acrobatics checks, a doubled carrying capacity, and an extra 10 feet of jumping distance; or you can make an Inspiring Smite, spending a bonus action after using your divine smite to hand out some temporary HP to allies (including yourself) nearby, divided however you like.
You also get fancy new oath spells- Guiding Bolt for more things that really should deal lightning damage and Heroism in case you don’t have enough healing yet.
7. Paladin 4: You finally get an Ability Score Improvement at level 7, so use this one to grab the Mounted Combatant feat. This gives you combat advantage against any creature smaller than your mount, the ability to redirect attacks against your mount to you instead, and mount evasion. You’ll notice you don’t have a mount yet- we’re working on it, promise.
8. Paladin 5: Fifth level paladins get an Extra Attack per attack action for more stabbing. More relatedly, you also get second level spells, like Enhance Ability to give an ally advantage on one kind of skill check- strength, dexterity, constitution, intelligence, wisdom, or charisma. It also comes with little bonuses for those first three. You also get Magic Weapon for fancier stabbing.
While Find Steed isn’t an oath spell, it does let you find a steed that’s smarter than most horses, and your spells that should affect only you affect your horse as well. I know Radiant Soul isn’t a spell, but c’mon hypothetical DM. c’monnnn.
9. Barbarian 4: Use this next ASI to bump up your Strength for even better stabbing. It’s pretty straightforward.
10. Barbarian 5: You don’t get an extra attack this time, but you do get Fast Movement for an extra 10′ of movement. You’re usually on a horse, but it’s nice to have a little bit more speed regardless.
11. Fighter 1: You didn’t really think we were done multiclassing yet, did you? Fighters get yet another fighting style, and Great Weapon Fighting will make your pike damage a little more consistent. You can also take a break as a bonus action to use your Second Wind to heal yourself. A good king fights hard and rests harder.
12. Fighter 2: Second level fighters can use an Action Surge to put even more stabbing in their turn once per short rest. Again it’s pretty simple, but effective.
13. Fighter 3: You’re good at riding, and so are Cavaliers. This makes you proficient in Insight so you can read Waver like a book, and you’re also Born to the Saddle. You have advantage against falling off your mount, you land on your feet even if you do, and you can mount/dismount a creature for only 5′ of movement. You can also put an Unwavering Mark on creatures you hit until the end of your next turn. While they’re within 5′ of you they have disadvantage on attacks that aren’t aimed at you, and if they still try anything funny you can make a bonus action attack against them that deals extra damage next turn. You can only use said attack a number of times per long rest equal to your strength modifier, but you have no limit on marking creatures. Most of the benefits of Ancestral Guardian, without the rage.
14. Barbarian 6: Speaking of, we almost missed out on the guardian’s next feature, the Spirit Shield. While raging, you can use your reaction to block a bit of damage heading to nearby creatures using the sheer numbers of your soldiers.
15. Fighter 4: Use this ASI to round up your Constitution and Charisma for more spells, health, and another special bonus next level.
16. Paladin 6: It’s been a while, huh? Your new Aura of Protection adds your charisma modifier to any saves done within 10′ of you. Yours, your horse’s, other people’s, it’s all good. You tend to bring out the best in others.
17. Paladin 7: The auras just don’t stop with you, do they? Your Aura of Alacrity gives you and allies within five feet of you an extra 10 feet of movement speed. I’m not saying your horse is inherently better than other people’s, but yeah, that’s exactly what I’m saying.
18. Paladin 8: Use your last ASI to bring your Strength up even higher. I mean look at you, you’re pretty buff.
19. Paladin 9: Ninth level paladins get third level spells, giving you Haste and Protection from Energy as oath spells. You can now have a horse moving at 420 feet per round if you really wanted to. You also finally get Elemental Weapon, for a spell that actually adds lightning damage to your sword. You could get by with radiant if you really want to, but there’s just something special about shocking people.
20. Paladin 10: Your capstone level gives you one last aura, the Aura of Courage. This prevents friendly creatures within 10′ of you from being frightened. Waver’s a big bundle of nerves, he really needed this.
Pros:
You can make your horse go more than 400′ in a turn, and you’re pretty fast yourself. On top of that, being able to cast haste on you and your horse is pretty cool, if just for the extra actions it affords you.
You also have plenty of options to make yourself the center of attention, protecting your horse and squishier teammates from physical attackers. Mix in your almost 200 HP and rages, and you’re pretty well set as a tank. That’ll be especially useful in case your wizard master needs to retreat from a fight.
You’re good at inspiring people around you without really doing much directly. Your auras power up their saves, speed, and nerves. Beyond that, you also have plenty of ways to buff them magically or with temporary HP.
Cons:
You’re not as married to your horse as other riders, but using it still makes things more complicated than they have to be. Not to mention it feeds right into your next problem.
Despite your speed, the short range of your auras means making use of your speed leaves your team without those buffs you give them. Also, being on a horse shuts everyone but the horse out of your aura of alacrity.
You have a ton of defenses, but none of them really matter to spellcasters. You should be fine as long as you don’t run into anyone who specializes in ranged magical attacks, though.

Asian Herritage Month Character of the Day: Amadeus Cho
First appearing in Amazing Fantasy #15, Amadeus Cho is a brillians Korean American teenager who won a contest designed to discover 7th smartest man in the world and title of Mastermind Excello, originally held by a World War II genius superhero Bill Everett. However, this discovery and admission of his intellect made him target and after someone bombed his house, killing his parents, the boy found himself on the run.
His paths crossed with Bruce Banner, changing his life forever - seeing a lot of similiarities to the Hulk in himself, Amadeus became his biggest fan. To the point that when Hulk was sent to space and came back pissed, in Incredible Hulk #106-112 (which does not seem to be on ComiXology) Amadeus assembled team of heroes not to stop him but talk him out of his vendetta andprove to the world Jade Giant is a misunderstood hero after all. This went downhill and Amadeus ended on the run again, but now with new pal and sort of a mentor figure - Hercules, Prince of Power, Son of Zeus.
In Incredible Hercules #113-141 and as members of the Mighty Avengers in issue #21-36 the duo had many adventures, but they ended in Hercules’ heroic death. In follow-up series Hercules: Fall of an Avenger and Heroic Age: Prince of Power Amadeus, now titled new Prince of Power, embarked on a quest to bring his friend back and later the two of them had one last glorious adventure against multiverse-threatening Chaos King in Chaos War.
After going separate ways with Hercules, Amadeus found himself advising to Hulk when he founded a whole team called the Incredible Hulks, showing up in issues #613, #617, #620 and #626-635. He tried to manipulate other heroes like X-23 and Arana to start his own superhero team, feeling it may be a glimmer of hope world needed during Cul the Serpent’s attack on USA in Fear Itself: Home Front #5-7. He showed up again to help Wolverine in Savage Worlverine #2-5. Overall he started fading into obscurity, with many thinking his alternate universe self from 2014 Battleworld Runaways series may be the last we see of him.
And then came the Totally Awesome Hulk. In this book Bruce Banner was dying after saving people from nuclear explosion by absorbing all its radiation and Amadeus could only save him by taking all his power for himself, becoming new Hulk and freeing his friend. Amadeus embarked to be a Hulk with a smile, avoiding his predecessor’s misteps. He was even somewhat succesful, joining the team of young heroes wishing to save the world without repeating their predecessor’s mistakes, the Champions. He reunited with his lost sister Maggie and teamed-up with all kids of heroes from Domino in Domino #1-3 to fellow genius Moon Girl in Moon Girl & Devil Dinosaur #2-4 and #12-18 and even briefly his pal Hercules again in Civil War II: Gods of War #1. He did his part in a homage to New Fantastic Four with Laura Kinney as Wolverine, Silk and Robbie Reyes, new Ghost Rider in Ghost Rider #1-5. He was part of crossovers W.M.D: Weapons of Mutant Destruction and Avengers & Champions: Worlds Colide
However, all good things must come to an end and for Amadeus it was when his book changed title to Incredible Hulk - having found himself on the same alien planet Bruce was once shoot to, Amadeus ended up losing control over his own Hulk who promptly went on a rampage back on Earth. his story ended with him having to confront and accept his darker impulses and merging with his Hulk, becoming now permamently in slimmer gamma form. But that did not stop him from continuing his heroics, taking the codename of Brawn. When Champions book relaunched he was featured in issues #1-4 and #9-10, as between them he had come to conflict with Ms. Marvel and quit. He has ended finding new allies in a new incarnation of Agens of Atlas in miniseries War of the Realms: New Agents of Atlas, Agents of Atlas and Atlantis Attacks (last one on hiauts because, well, a fucking global pandemic struck). He also showed up in Immortal Hulk #26, which is basically one long speech Bruce Banner gives him, trying to convince Amadeus to join his and new Hulk’s crusade.
Amadeus has also showed up in cartoon Ultimate Spider-Man, an alternate universe version of him who is a tech-based superhero Iron Spider. Which adds one more legacy to an already impressive list of Mastermind Excello, Prince of Power and Hulk to Amadeus’ resume.

Ok, so @askrikkaiandhyotei asked for Micchi/Kouta and a romantic kiss, and because I’m very clever, I mashed “answer privately” instead of “save as draft” when it was half-done and had to have them send it back to me via submit. Go me! Thus the lack of askbox format. Anyway, I feel like this is sort of a tricky ship, because it feels very one-sided, but also I would so love for Micchi to have some kindness in his life.
Micchi’s had this dream before.
He’s in the garage, and the whole space is as it was before–before everything. The same furniture, the same decorations, just Gaim’s space and not the strange Beat Rider common area that it’s become. The garage is as it was, but he’s the person he became, in the dark suit he can no longer even look at while awake, his hair hanging in his eyes.
He’s lucid enough to know that he’s dreaming, but not quite enough to change anything, only enough to know what happens next. Next his teammates will come, Mai and Kouta and Rat and Rica and Chucky, and Yuuya will arrive with a basket of fruit and eyes the color of oxidized copper. He’ll try to tell them to stop, but they won’t listen to him, because he’s already lied to them too many times. Crying wolf, too late for anyone to care.
He waits for the nightmare to repeat itself.
It doesn’t.
Kouta walks into the garage alone, hands in the pockets of his orange vest. One of his eyes is gold. The other one is red. He says, “Hey, Micchi.”
So it’s the other nightmare. He swallows hard, frozen to the spot, waiting for the vine around his throat, waiting to be torn apart. It’s only as much as he deserves, really.
That doesn’t happen either. Instead Kouta frowns, but in a worried way instead of an angry one. “I felt something, I wanted to come see you. Are you ok?”
Slowly, Micchi says, “Kouta?” His voice is a croak. “Is that really…you?”
“Yeah. Weird, I know. Here, come on, you look like you need to sit down.” Kouta takes his arm and tugs him over to the little swing, sitting down next to him on it. It’s a dream, so everything feels unreal, but Kouta’s presence is incredibly real, the side of Kouta’s leg warm where it presses against his. “Were you expecting someone else?”
“Normally when I dream about you you’re killing me.” He’s still croaking. He wishes he could make his voice work properly. “I have so many nightmares.”
The rest of the garage swirls indistinctly around them, becoming the makeshift shelter of the final days of the invasion, and then Helheim Forest, and then the garage again. But the swing remains solid, and Kouta remains solid too as he puts an arm around Micchi’s shoulders and pulls him close. “Yeah, that…that makes sense. I’m sorry. But this is really me, I promise. And I’m not going to hurt you.”
Micchi stares up at him for a moment, overwhelmed by the sheer reality of his presence, and then hides his face in the orange vest and cries.
It goes on for…time. An amount of time, indistinct in whatever dreamworld they’re inhabiting, wherever Kouta’s brought him to that looks like the inside of his own head and smells like orange blossoms. He cries, and Kouta sits there holding him and says, “I’d never hurt you,” into the top of his head.
“I wouldn’t blame you if you did,” Micchi mumbles into the vest. “I kind of fucked up everything.”
“I mean, maybe a little, but what good would hurting you do? For you or anyone else? That doesn’t fix anything.”
“I guess not.” Micchi shakes his head to clear it, considers sitting up straighter, and then doesn’t, because Kouta’s arm is still around him. “Why come see me, though?”
“Because I care about you?”
Micchi finally looks up, into one golden eye and one red, and drowns in them.
“You don’t deserve to be hurt. And I’m definitely not going to do it.” Kouta tips his chin up with one hand, thumb brushing over his cheekbone. “Got that?”
Maybe there’s a version of the story, Micchi thinks, where Ganymede begs to be taken to Olympus, instead of Zeus swooping down and snatching him from Earth unawares. Kouta doesn’t seem very Zeus-like, and anyway Micchi’s not sure how to indicate that snatching would be welcome if he’s inclined. So he presses against the hand on his face for a moment and says, “Got it,” and then leans up into a kiss that fills his lungs with the scent of orange blossoms.
The swing is still as present as ever, but the dreamworld swirls again, the garage shifting and mutating into a version of itself that’s been overtaken by vines and flowers, twisting around support beams, spreading out to hold up the ceiling, carpeting the floor. It’s beautiful. There’s also a distant noise, shrill and irritating, and Kouta blinks and pulls back to say, “I think that’s your alarm, Micchi.”
“Probably.” Going for another kiss seems more important, though, and Kouta doesn’t stop him, pulls him closer.
Obnoxiously, the alarm continues, and finally Kouta pulls back again and says, with a laugh in the back of his voice, “I should probably let you wake up, yeah?”
“Will you come see me again?”
The golden eye gleams; the red eye burns. “If you want me to.”
“I’ll always want you to.”
“Then sure.” One last kiss. “I’ll come see you again. But right now…”
“Yes?”
“No more nightmares.”
