A Soft Day with Souya

I’ve been writing a bunch of smut stuff, here’s one of my few pieces of fluff I do have!

Souya cuddling you and stressing over the fact that you might be tired of ramen and therefore tired of him and his cooking as that’s what he mostly makes, only for you to ask him what ramen he’s gonna make next and start ranting about how you used to detest ramen cause that’s all you could eat as a broke college student but he’s made you love it again with all the cool concoctions he and his brother has made. This, moments like this are when the both of you start falling for each other even deeper.

When the love spreads so far and wide that your whole apartment is covered in it, but while it spreads it also sinks into Souya, into his pores, his muscles, his brain, and especially his heart. It reminds him that you’re not with him because he’s a good fuck, no you’re with him because you love him, love his character, love his actions, hobbies, way of speaking, mannerism, everything. You love him and you wouldn’t hurt him or throw him away over things you don’t like, I mean you’re ranting about ramen he makes even though you used to hate it! Cuddling more into you he nods along to your words glad that you are who you are because in the same ways you love him he loves you, and he’ll fight you to the ends of the earth about who loves each other more.

souya being such a shy individual in front of pretty strangers like you at the gym; it’s funny because his physique does not match his personality at all, such a great contrast. his eyes—like the skies above, avoid your own when you converse with him. the way his fingers fidget with the hem of his shirt, the way he bites the bottom of his lip in nervousness, and the way he stands almost perfectly still which makes him look a tad awkward. but it’s okay, he’s cute.

although, cute isn’t the word you’d go for after you’ve seen his physique. you eyes never seem to leave his line of direction after he’s taken his hoodie off to reveal his toned arms, and the way his shirt rests against the expanse of his chest—the silhouette of his muscles leaving no room for imagination. it intrigues you because under all those layers of muscles, souya is just a shy man who can’t seem to hold your lingering gaze. nonetheless, that’s what makes him interesting.

Damn, you felt sore. Almost every part of your body ached. Last thing you remembered was, you were behind the school because you've received a note to meet someone there, just like the many you got like every other week. It's always the same corny love confession, and you always respond with the same answer,

"Oh, I already have a lover. Thanks for the thought though." You say and walk away.

But this time, it was something you never would've expected. It was a girl this time but that wasn't the new part, you've had even girls confess to you. It was she started talking about,

"You just think you can do whatever you fucking want just because you're pretty." She said in a spiteful tone,

You grimaced knowing what type of girl she already was. She was a bitch, not the good kind. She was green with envy of any girl who tried to outshine her. You snickered,

"You think I'm pretty, why thank you <3." You dropped the smug remark, rolling your eyes playfully.

You started walking away, not wanting to waste your time with some girl who has nothing to do then shit on other women who are living their lives. Jealousy really is a disease, and an ugly one. But suddenly you stopped in your tracks when she shouted,

"YOU THINK YOU COULD JUST STEAL HIM AWAY FROM ME, YOU BITCH!"

Turning to her, annoyance bubbling up inside you as you spat back at her,

"What the hell are you talking about, steal who?

Taking a deep breath before wiping the small tears in the corners of your eyes,

You felt bad for her, she was trying so hard for this guy's attention to the point of coming at other girls. That's so...pathetic. You saw how her malice expression faded into a sadistic smile, then you caught the sound of a twig snapping behind you. You gasped at the realization, turning halfway when you felt the sharp pain in the side of your head. One of her friends had snuck up on you then at the moment you put your guard down, she struck you with a metal pipe.

You weren't sure how long you've been knocked out for, but once you woke up it was night time. And you were met with two afros you were oh-too-familiar with.

"Hey Souya, it's alright. She's opening her eyes, there's no need to cry." His older brother, Nahoya, tried to comfort him.

Souya hasn't stopped crying ever since they got the first glance of your almost lifeless body on the floor. He never ran so fast to check up on somebody, pulling you into his arms and light shaking you to wake up. Begging you to.

"Hey Soso, baby, you're kinda squeezing the life out of my ass right now." You managed to gasp out,

Tears were running down his face, Nahoya had warned you about Angry's tears. No matter what, don't make him cry. You cupped his face, catching him off guard. You took a good look at him before gently wiping his tears away and leaning in and kissing his wet cheeks, You giggled a little at the small blush that became visible on his now hot cheeks. He was such a kind soul. He was one of the rare people who truly had a good heart. You weren't sure how hard you fell for him until now.

"Why are you crying dummy, I am literally right here in your arms."

You feel relieved once you see his tears stop running like a speeding river. You continued by kissing his hands,

"I told you before, your tears are precious to me, baby. Mm, I love you so much." You whispered, your voice sugarcoated as you pulled him into your arms, holding him lovingly.

He sniffed and struggled to talk because of his constant gasps,

The walk home to patch you up was sweet. Souya offered (demanded) to carry you all the way to your house. It was relaxing, he smelled nice, and he was warm. You wrapped your arms around his neck getting more comfortable when you pulled him closer resting your head on his shoulder.

"Souyaaaaaaa, I love youuuu. You're so sweet and make me so happy." You whispered, dragging out some of your words.

He was glad you weren't looking at him. You would tease the freak out of him if you saw the way he blushed hard at your harmonious voice. You raised your head, facing him. You snicker at his flushed face,

"You're so cute when you blush." You purr, biting your lower lip a little.

You moved your face closer to his, brushing your lips against his. It was a deep and affectionate kiss. You lost yourself in his warmth, treasuring the sensual moment. Pulling away to take a shaky breath. You sunk back into his arms, a smile tugged on your swollen lips, and let your eyes rest, getting sleepy.

After a moment you heard a small chuckle. You open one of your eyes, staring up at him,

MITSUYA sits in front of you and when he turned around to ask you if you needed any help you basically threw your sketchbook. he narrowed his eyes and picked up the book from off the floor, smiling when he seen your amazing drawing of him. “this is really good, y/n”, you sat there in embarrassment as he endlessly praised your beautiful artwork.

KAZUTORA sat across from you allowing you to admire his features as you sketched him out. he was taking notes so he didn’t realize you were drawing him, but when he ran out of led he looked up at you asking if you had any or a different pencil. “ouu, whatcha drawing?” he asked and you slammed the book shut. he took the book out your hands and held it up out of your reach. “you don’t get it back until i can see your drawing”, he said teasingly. you gave in, causing him to open the book. he was speechless, admiring himself and your sketch.

For a moment, Kokonoi let himself watch you, your mind gone from where you sat and somewhere deep in thought. Asking for something twice wasn't something Taiju was good at, nor was it something he wanted to do. When he asked you to go and grab him something and you didn't even respond to him, he was nearly thrown for a loop. You always responded to him, you were always alert to the things around you.

It was weird for you to stare. You hated when people stared and it bothered you even more when people were staring at you. It was confusing as to why in the world were you sitting at the lunch table, staring at Souya?

You then suddenly pulled out the stick, as Mistuya cursed out loud, as he bent down, one hand on his knee, while the other cupping his nose, while chuckled, soothing his back.

Mitsuya straightened one more time, breathing heavily before you pulled out the other stick as well, as Mitsuya groaned, as you disposed off the sticks. Your magic seems to do the trick as his sobbing once again calms and eventually fizzles down into exhausted, heavy breathing. „Souya?“ you try once again, picking your head up from his, being careful to not to be too harsh with him. „Hmm..“ it was a discouraged, sore grunt he gave you, but at least he responded. Cradling his head in your hands, you lightly shift his neck to angle it upwards to look at you.

„Look at me Sou.“ you say softly to him when he refuses to open his eyes. „There you go. Hi baby.“ your voice is saccharine as you pull his eyes into a trance with your own. Completely calm, head spinning from your scent (and perhaps the heavy crying), and eyes wet and puffy, Souya looks at you as if you hung the stars in the sky.

„Wow.“ Takemichi breathes silently, his spectating position not too far away allowed him a prime viewing to the scene that unfolded all to beautifully before him. „Yeah.“ Chifuyu, who sat next to Takemichi, replied, just as enchanted as he was. „Is she always that good?“ Takemichi whispered as not to break the trance. „Yeah, she‘s amazing.“ Chifuyu nods back and the two sit in comfortable silence for a few moments. „They‘re perfect.“

if you got caught up in a dangerous area

• Sweet lil bean who would care too much.

• After every fight, Souya would be the one to check on all their squad members to make sure no one is injured too heavily.

• If you were in the area and he happened to notice, he would approach you with his signature pissed off face and angry demeanor. "It's dangerous to hang out here." He would say, in an oddly kind and wholesome manner.

• Souya would be awkward and a little hesitant to talk to girls. He doesn't talk much to anyone in the first place, but in his interactions with girls, he'd be worse than Hakkai. He would not say much and would avoid looking into their eyes. "I don't want to make them uncomfortable or intimidated..." He'd say.

• You'd run into him in an electronics shop. A bright smile in his direction would earn you an awkward nod from him. He'd be surprisingly knowledgeable about a lot of things related to computers, gadgets, games, and such. You'd feel like he's a lot easier to talk to than you thought earlier.

• Then a few days later you would see him on the ground next to a vending machine, beating the hell out of some guys. Blood dripping from his knuckles and a teeth fallen on the ground beside his victim while his other opponents flee the scene. He would seem so different with a crazy smile on his face, a malicious laugh you'd never imagine coming from him. You'd notice the change in his hair colour, a bright orange instead of the blue you saw the other day. "Did something happen to him?" You'd wonder.

• "S- Souya-kun," You'd carefully approach him despite being warned against it by others who were terrified to see a fight in broad daylight.

• When he'd turn around, he'd smile at you brightly, no hint of recognition in his eyes. "Ya need something from me?" His orange hair and blood-covered face would feel unfamiliar and you'd look at him in confusion.

• A warm hand would wrap around your wrist and pull you away from the scene. You'd look back and forth between the person holding your hand and the guy beating up some delinquents on the sidewalk.

• Souya's hold would be firm, yet gentle and would make you feel safe. He wouldn't even hurt a girl by accident. Turning around, you'd see the same blue hair and green jacket you remember from the last time you met him. He'd take you into a quiet alleyway so you can talk. "Why are you always looking for trouble? I told you this area is dangerous." He'd ask, with the same grumpy voice, yet you'd easily notice the concern behind it.

• "I thought you... near the vending machine..." You'd struggle to form words with Souya's hand still holding yours. Souya would nod in understanding. "Ah, that's Naoya, my brother. Don't mind him, he's not a bad guy." He would reassure.

•When Souya would finally realise that he's been holding your wrist for a while now, his eyes would go wide and he'd immediately let go. "Sorry.." He'd say, barely audible. "Earlier... were you scared? Too much blood..." You'd shake your head in response and tell him that you were just surprised and not scared. "I'll take you home. Stay here, don't go, I'll get my bike." And he'd jog back to retrieve his bike so he can safely take you home.
