This is a weird ass question but I'm on my period and I'm wondering do dungeon meshi women have periods? Do different races not have periods? Like I never saw it getting mentioned
-🐰anon
Well the short answer is: Probably? Considering the biology in dungeon meshi seem really similar to our own world's the other option would be an estrous cycle like most other mammals have. (That's also what omegaverse's omega heats is based on btw). The longer answer is that stories tend to just not mention bodily function in favor of staying in focus, dungeon meshi is an exception in this aspect cause it's 1 about eating 2 about biology. So they take the time to show every meal they have AND made a point to talk about how pooping in the dungeon works at least once. Plus this amazing extra.

Talking about menstrual cycles might have been a step too far for an adventure manga thought since it tends to be considered a taboo or yucky (even tho it shouldn't) I don't doubt Ryoko Kui has thought about it tho.
If you're interested here's a random article I found that shows some old timey menstrual products (I only skimmed thru it, I remembered seeing some of those old products before and wanted to see them again)

Idol games are annoying as hell because they do queerbait but then they also have intentional queer subtext and no matter which one of those it is they’re probably just doing it to get your money.

most damning thing anyone has ever said to me since my therapist called me a “cynic” who does “the mental/emotional equivalent of repeatedly punching a wall”: “i think you’re a red-coded person who tries very hard to come across as blue-coded :)”

i do remember a fair number of sites being like "what is your email address (optional) (WARNING IF WE DON'T HAVE THIS WE CAN'T DO PASSWORD RECOVERY)"
i think probably admins got tired of people losing their passwords and complaining that they can't recover them and just made the email mandatory to cut that off
do y’all remember usernames??? from back when every fuckin website didn’t need your email phone number home address social security number just to join/sign up for something?? when you could make website-specific accounts that weren’t linked to literally anything else??? they tried to boil us like a frog slowly switching to “username/email” and then just asking for your email. but I remember. I remember usernames.

The way TV Tropes just lumps works manga, light novels, anime, and sometimes even visual novels into a single page even when the adaptations havs multiple noticeable deviations from the source materia annoys and confuses me
Like, imagine if instead of having seperate pages for A Game of Thrones and A Song of Ice and Fire, they put it all under ASOIAF and just listed differences between the two under each trope

theres literally no better feeling than when ur learning about a thing for the first time like a fandom or something (specifically like one with a fairly expansive universe (think like. comic book shit like uhh marvel or dc or something i guess. yeah)) and seeing 1 (one) tidbit of information or noticing one tiiiiiiny detail about a character and thinking to urself “hey i think this guy might have [specific mental illness/disorder]” but then immediately assuming ur just projecting bc u have that same thing THEN you get to the detailed information about the specific character and u fucking see that u were RIGHTTTTTTTT i feel so fucking powerful right now im smarter than god i fucking knewwwwwwwwwwwww it i knew this shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (totally not because the bit of behavior i noticed reminded me of myself ahahaha definitely not)

Hi, I can you shed some light into what happened with the third edition of nobilis and the DeviantArt art? I ask out of genuine curiosity and confusion, as my first impression with nobilis came through tvtropes and the vague posting happening inside the article talking about stolen art, and frankly I never heard a comprehensive anything, from any traceable source. Thanks.
Mm. The gory details aren't really my story to tell (and I'm given to understand that the game's author doesn't like to talk about it, so please don't go pestering her on my account!), but in the interest of heading off the rumour mill, the short version is as follows:
Nobilis 3rd Edition was originally funded via Kickstarter under the banner of Eos Press – who, to be clear, were merely the game's publisher, not its creator.
When the game's preview edition was released to Kickstarter backers, folks noticed that some of its illustrations looked awfully familiar. Several pieces were quickly identified as having been traced from Touhou fanart published on DeviantArt and elsewhere.
The preview edition was withdrawn, and new art obtained to replace the plagiarised pieces. Eos Press made no statement accepting responsibility for the fiasco, and some of the replacement art was apparently commissioned at the author's own expense, both of which are highly irregular; however, at the time, most people assumed it was just the usual small-press lack of professionalism at work.
Fast forward four years, and the owner of Eos Press gets caught red-handed misappropriating Kickstarter funds for personal use, albeit from a different project. In light of this, it's been speculated Eos Press' owner also pocketed the art budget for Nobilis 3rd Edition; that would explain both the low-effort plagiarism and the game's author having to pay for the replacement art out of pocket.
The author of Nobilis subsequently cut ties with Eos Press, recovered the game's publishing rights, and independently published her own version which replaces Eos' "contributions" with original material, produced at her own considerable effort and expense. This version of Nobilis 3rd Edition is the one that's currently for sale via DriveThruRPG and elsewhere.
Clear as mud?
