Hey there lovelies. I hope you know just how much you mean to one another. One of the big things that came from people leaving twitter and joining other platforms, is how much love that's been going around. I've seen quite a lot of people mentioning just how much OFMD has meant to them and their families in case they couldn't find folks on other platforms, and it's been so very heartwarming.

I've also seen some pretty scary things... and people banding together to help each other. I know sometimes it's hard to see when we're in the thick of it-- but we really are stronger together. Even if everyone doesn't always get along fandomwise-- you all step up when things are tough, and that's what crew is all about, and it's beautiful.

You're beautiful.

As someone who hates marvel, I'm not thrilled either... mainly because I think those movies do not showcase whatsoever the actor's talent.

I also have an observation to make: I don't know if I'm the only one who noticed but when the cast went on stage at sdcc and answered the questions, the people pretty much didn't clap when Joe spoke whereas with Pedro the crowd was going wild

The play was written by Tom Ratcliffe who is friends with Freddy - he was at Oxford Drama School with Freddy, as well as starring in "The Wars of the Roses" (Rose Theatre) with him in 2015.

CIRCA was first performed as a sell-out research & development showing at the Old Red Lion Theatre, Islington in November 2015. After that a crowdfunding campaign was started to raise money for putting on the world premiere of the play in Amsterdam.

10 minutes of CIRCA were also performed as part of Wildcard Theatre's Christmas fundraiser December 1st 2015, with Freddy playing The First Love and Tom Ratcliffe playing The Young Man, and Jamie Jackson directing. Photographer: Ali Wright

The Amsterdam performance happened 8th January 2016 as part of Festival Contact at the Theater de Meervaart. Some behind the scene shots + some more from the performance itself (EDIT: the lefthand side sofa pic I'd included is actually from the 2015 London performance instead - the righthand side one is the Amsterdam set).

Following Amsterdam, another crowdfunding campaign was started to raise money for the plays UK première as part of 2016 Pride in London. Here's pics for the readthrough, rehearsals & preview show. Freddy plays The First Love and The Younger Man.

The play ran June 21st-25th, directed by Joe Allan, performed at The VAULTS, Waterloo. As mentioned by a londontheatre1, the actors changed into dark clothes to double up as stagehands like in pic 5. As far as I can tell there's no public recordings of the play, just a very brief insta reel of applause for one of the shows.

CIRCA had another run in March 2019 - for 4 weeks this time - again at The Old Red Lion Theatre, with a smaller cast of 5: Antony Gabriel, Daniel Abelson, Jenna Fincken, Joseph Rowe, and Thomas Flynn. Maybe CIRCA will return sometime potentially but it seems unlikely it would be with Freddy again. I very much wish I could see it tbh but I'll probably have to satisfy myself buying the script sometime.

For anyone curious about the play more generally, Tom Ratcliffe has interviews about the 2019 run linked on his website under 'Press' further down on his writer's CV page. There are reviews for the 2016 Vaults performance here. CIRCA is also published, and there were some quotes from the play released as part of promo tweets - they're behind the read more.

Lol I'm thinking about how everyone in his dating pool would have an opinion on his ex and head cannoning him getting a fake ID and telling people his name is John Smith, a stock broker who can't talk about work because it's boring and he deals with high profile clients and portfolios so can't say much and then when it's ~true love he takes off his Clark Kent glasses and confesses he's Joe, an actor and if they want to continue their relationship they need to have a meeting with his pr people and watch a slideshow of the worst of swifties to Explain why their relationship needs to be the type that isn't on insta. Which is very sad in reality but as a thought experiment, a funny thought

Speculation: Bullet Farmer Recast

As of the time of this writing, we don't know who will be playing the Bullet Farmer in "Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga." We don't have hard confirmation that the character will even appear, but since we're seeing a younger Joe and a location that could be the Bullet Farm, I think it's reasonable to speculate that our dearly beloved bandolier-clad warlord could return. And speculation can be fun, so let's dive in.

Who would be playing the Bullet Farmer? Glancing at the cast list on IMDB and some leaked photos, something stood out to me. I think it's possible that David Collins is our new Kalashnikov.

Let's start with some basics. Collins is a 54-year-old Australian comedian. Richard Carter, the OG Bullet Farmer, also had a background in comedy. (Hoping this means we get some more deadpan snarking and hammy moments in the film.) Also, Collins' facial structure is vaguely similar.

A degree of likeness is no guarantee, of course. However, there are some leaked set photos and social media posts that have me wondering about the nature of Collins' character. Mad Max Bible, a fairly reliable source for leaks, has speculated that Collins could be playing the Farmer. (Again, just speculation.)

Let's see how Collins will look in the movie.

These are images he posted on Instagram. Seems like his character will have long-ish hair and a beard. Not very Kalashnikov, so who knows. Now let's look at some leaked set photos.

Interesting goggles, wish we could see them better. Here's another look.

...Interesting headgear. The headgear, goggles, and overall outfit are kind of giving Kalashnikov. Kind of like a stripped-down, bullet-free version of his usual look, with the baggy combat fatigues seen below all those bandoliers.

It's also worth noting that Collins was flown to the set along with Matuse Paz and CJ Bloomfield, two guys who would look fantastic as Bullet Farm imperators. These three seem to be hanging out a fair bit, based on what Collins has on his Insta page.

And again, it's entirely possible that we haven't seen the Bullet Farmer yet. Or that the character won't be in the film. Collins could be playing someone completely unrelated. But hey, no harm in speculating, especially if we acknowledge we're just taking shots in the dark. Pun intended.

while i do not condone going onto his family and friend's pages to comment about this (he's a grown man who knows what he is doing, he does not deserve better), i do think that public professional profiles like Joe's insta and the PR firm are fair game for calling out.

with all that said, if he cancels a con that's on him. the money should be enough of an incentive to follow through, i mean who doesn't want to clear 5 to 6-figures in a weekend?? for example, in Philly after the whole passport thing - is it possible he really wanted to see as many fans as possible out of the goodness of his heart? yes. is it also possible that he wanted to get through so many people in one day as to mitigate the amount of refunds requested and to salvage the money already made? also yes.

I think he's contractually obligated to do at least one more.

Am I the only one that found it VERY weird that he posted that studio Polaroid to his IG account? You'd think something like that would go on the official Dojo account to create some hype for the new people following him because of EOB, but instead 'Corey' posted to his own account? I know the Djo account is mostly used for merch announcements and albums promo, but could've been at least a story, no? It's what those powerful PR agencies/people do. During the Depp-Heard trial, the PR witness pretty much detailed how the Hollywood's inner workings regarding publicity for talents. This includes "cleaning damaging information", censoring information or buying bots to increase the number of followers ~ nowadays, parts are given to actor based on their popularity/influence. This is one of the reasons why in 2022 Joe got the role in AQPD1 and continue to be casted because he gained 8M followers in Insta (not sure how many followers he has now, though). I am not surprised that information such as the coke binge was foiled from coming out, especially if Joe is with CAA, which is a big, influential player in Hollywood. They do not want to damage their cash cow. I bet Curtis Brown's strategy when Joe got into ST was to hire a publicist, ask Joe any information that may damage his image and do a cleanup. He is an industry plant, after all. Why do you think Victoria, the publicist, followed Alicia? Hollywood is like the CIA nowadays.

Joe posts most things way after the fact - that’s how he uses Insta. He likes doing photo dumps. He doesn’t use it regularly and then he posts a dump in his stories and/or his grid. That’s literally just how he uses that app. He likes rando ass emojis and photo dumps.

Maybe she asked him to go on the red carpet with her/to the ceremony and he said no idk these people but given things weren’t going well at the time on her end (given yk the Matty of it all???) I’m not sure him walking the red carpet would’ve saved the relationship lol. It would’ve just made shit messier.

Yup! I loved Chris Evans. He constantly said he wanted a "normal" girl who wears sweatpants and a ponytail. Someone who would challenge him in life. He dated her for a whole year before they went public. Looking back now I definitely feel like he played up the hometown boy from Boston who just wanted normalcy because the girl he married was none of those things. She's 25 and beautiful. I can't imagine she challenges him on much either.

Oh and fun fact, people called her racist for some pics she took and she had to delete her insta for a couple months because she "accidentally" uploaded an inappropriate video of herself dancing in the shower with a white see through t-shirt. Fun times!
