        there hasn’t been very many moments in kya’s life where she felt so helpless. her body is still sore and bruised from the attack on the temple , but regardless of her injuries , kya’s still wearing a bright smile.  ‘  it was brave , wasn’t it ? no need to thank me.  ‘  she jokes quietly , her hand reaching to grab tenzin’s and give a reassuring squeeze.  ‘  i told you from the beginning i love you and this family. i’m not about to let anything happen to it , neither is bumi.  ‘

      kya doesn’t want to admit how afraid she was in the moment. dangling off the edge with bumi , each second feeling like an hour leading to her ( guaranteed ) death. she remembers not minding it — that dying for her nieces and nephews and their culture is an honorable way to go. but she’s glad to still be here , and she isn’t done fighting.  ‘  hope you’re not too disappointed we survived. you’re still stuck with us.  ’

𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐀𝐁𝐋𝐄.  when  all  is  said  and  done,  she  is  still  human  under  all  this  wolf’s  fur.  there’s  still  a  broken  soul  behind  fangs  and  howls.  and  sometimes  -   sometimes,  there  is  only  so  much  she  can  take  before  she  loses  control.  a  sponge  can  only  absorb  so  much,  and  right  now,  she’s  at  her  maximum  capacity.  how  hard  she  tries  to  conceal  it,  fearful  emotion  was  considered  weak. the  northmen  don’t  look  to  weepy  women,  they  look  to  strong  and  powerful  ;   and  so  that  she  became  at  the  expense  of  sidelining  her  own  feelings.  

when  she  is  called  out  on  this,  she  hesitates.  this  is  not  his  concern,  though  for  a  moment  she’s  grateful  for  any  he  may  have  for  her.  sansa  simply  shrugs,  neither  confirming  nor  denying  what  tyrion  claims  to  have  heard.  he  is  smart  enough,  he  can  fill  in  the  missing  pieces  of  the  puzzle,  should  he  desire.  instead,  she  opts  to  discuss  the  topic  on  hand,  ignoring  any  redness  around  her  eyes  and  shake  in  her  words.       ❝  let  us  go  back  to  studying  the  battle  maps,  perhaps  with  a  fresh  mind  we  can  draw  up  some  more  plans.  ❞   with  that,  she  continues  to  walk  towards  them,  determined  to  focus  on  the  task  on  hand  over  her  vulnerable  moments.
