unfortunately i am drawing a total blank on specific posts ahah, it really is just something that floats around with consensus with no solid origin. and TBH i think i prefer it that way-- i love that everyone has different versions of what goes on!! that's why i would strongly recommend asking people about their thoughts or sources for their headcanons. everyone will have their own influences and their favourite fics and whatnot, it's a great way to discover troves of content

the only other advice i can think of is to read tesblr fanfic, bc a lot of people incorporate general fanon/their own specific ideas into fanfic. my fanfic blog has been going for seven years now so you can find god-knows-what in there fanon-wise, here's my tags for almalexia and sotha sil. here's kayd's writing blog, kendra's and sasha's (though kendra is primarily oc/daedra and sasha is primarily dwemer). here's the recommendations tag for my own writing blog again bc i'm sure i'm forgetting people. and i'm sure lots of people will have lots more recommendations

anyways yea, just ask people about the lore :) if there's one thing i know about people who like TES it's that they LOVE explaining lore/headcanons to people, so never be afraid to shoot someone an ask going "where did you get x/y/z about sotha sil/almalexia/nerevar/this character mentioned once in a lorebook", it's always a good time

a question to those who care: other than the 36 lessons what are some things to read to learn more about the tribunal and the first council? especially about almalexia and sotha sil since i already know vivec is the most promiment character in both the sermons and in the game. the way i see other people talk about them it seems like there's a whole bunch of in depth lore on ayem seht nerevar and dagoth that i just havent seen and id love to read it wherever it is

although id really prefer non-eso sources....nothing wrong with eso i just am more interested in the lore that was written by the people who wrote morrowid

But for those that have Sotha Sil X OC pairings that involve children, 100% Sil has a silent but agressive protective pull towards his family. He isn’t one to gush about his partner or even his children, but the moment he feels like you’re threatening them, even if it was just a joke, sorry but you aren’t leaving the room without being scared shitless by the tall metal man.

Oc Vestige x Verandis HC (GREYMOOR SPOILERS AND BAD ENGLISH) : Prior becoming a Vestige and even meeting Ver’drani, Liv meets Verandis Ravenwatch when she visits an aunt in Rivenspire (whom had married a Breton person). As she wants to save everyone and defeat the monsters, she offers her help to Verandis, she does not know of his true nature. Of course, she begins to develop feeling towards him and it’s really difficult for her to learn that he’s a vampire. But he teaches her monsters are...not always monsters. In a foolish moment, he even promises her to share a bit of his time when everything is over. Not need to say how much heartbroken Liv is at the end of the quest. She swears to Verandis she’ll find a way and he sadly smiles to her.

Later, when she is one of the Vestige (HC : Elvi is also one) and she can wander in Coldharbor, she tries to reach him but it is impossible. Even Cadwell cannot locate him, which is quite a bad news. It’s a huge frustration for her, they are in the same plane of Oblivion, but he’s still out of her reach. She is stubborn and does not give up, she has made a promise. She even asks for Sotha Sil’s help, but he is unable to give her what she wants.

And then she meets Fennorian in Skyrim and discovers about the Gray Host, she connects the dots and understands Verandis was a member. She has seen how to bring them back, she trusts Fennorian to find a way to bring the Count back too.

And whatever happens (go to hell ZoS if you kill him) in the next DHoS dlc, Verandis will be back and safe. He hugs her when he sees her (of course he also hug Fenn!) and finally those years of fighting for him are worth it. 

They enjoy a well deserve peaceful time in Auridia, where Verandis meets Liv’s daughter Nallia and becomes her second Dad.

C.) Do they serve the divines, tribunal, or the daedra, and please explain why?

Enal serves Magnus and the Magna-Ge. I see this does not fall under the three pantheons listed here (they are elven deities). He venerates these because they value the arcane and so too does he. He also, to a lesser extent, worships Syrabane.

Nu-Kinmune follows the steps of Phynaster, mainly. She does a lot of traveling and Phynaster, the elven "travel god" I suppose in a sense, lets Her walk with a shorter, yet perpetually longer, stride. (I also maybe picked it for the Elvenpath ability from Wintersun)

Ae is atheistic. But if anyone asks and he doesn't feel like explaining that, he'll just say Sanguine, because hey, Sanguine seems cool. If he doesn't feel comfortable with mentioning a Daedra (say when he speaks to people who frown on such things) he'll go with Zenithar. He does a lot of forging after all.

S.) What's their preference in terms of romantic partners?

Enal... doesn't do romance, really. Only a few people have ever piqued his interest and even then, they either died before he could get involved with them, or they declined him. Except for Sofia.

Nu-Kinmune has no preference of any type; anything goes with Her.

Ae is gay. Very, very gay. Especially for mer.

X.) Have they ever tried Skooma?

Enal has, and uses it during meditation sessions and whenever he needs a burst of inspiration. Though, he usually smokes moon sugar instead of drinking skooma, which is (I think) stronger than skooma.

Nu-Kinmune only dares to touch the stuff during court parties and events in the Summering Isles in which others are partaking of it. She limits herself and doesn't drink much of it, but, if She just gets back after a long fight with a spectral Numidium apparition, then you bet She will do the skooma.

Ae, well. If you see Ae not on skooma, there's something wrong. He's been doing it for so long that it doesn't negatively affect him (much) anymore and he carries at least three bottles and/or moon sugar and a pipe with him at all times.

On second thought here's Varyn, too!

Varyn serves the Tribunal. He may have killed two of them, but hey, at least one was nice to him. Almalexia gave him gifts before she turned on him; Vivec let him kill Dagoth Ur (and taught him many things); and Sotha Sil's city is his home now. He loves ALMSIVI. Even if they're dead.

S.) What's their preference in terms of romantic partners?

Varyn is aromantic. He does enjoy the company of lovely (humanoid) fabricants though.

X.) Have they ever tried Skooma?

Varyn... may have. To be honest, he mainly did skooma while being a cratehead, and that part of his life seems to warp and remake itself, so who knows. The moon sugar pipe in the bedroom of Fyr Manor may attest to him, at one point, doing skooma, but he claims to not recall.

HOW LARGE DOES THE AGE GAP HAVE TO BE TO MAKE IT UNCOMFORTABLE? :

Lorelei is chronologically 227 and physically in her late twenties to early thirties, so anywhere under legal age is where I draw the line at shipping romantically. That goes for both mental and physical age. Idc how old your immortal child is mentally or chronologically; if their appearance doesn’t match my limit at the least, I won’t be comfortable with it, sorry.

ARE YOU SELECTIVE WHEN SHIPPING? :  

It’s sort of a yes and no for me. On one hand, I definitely ship based on chemistry. If our muses don’t click well, it simply won’t work, and I’m not going to force it to. On the other hand, if I read up on a muse before interacting with them, and I can already sort of assess a pretty good potential for something shippy, I'm not afraid to contact the mun and plot something out along those lines. Sometimes you just know. And it just tends to happen with Lorelei more often than I initially anticipated, especially because she tends to be rather emotionally unavailable due to circumstances regarding her canon.

HOW FAR DO STEAMY MOMENTS HAVE TO GO BEFORE THEY’RE CONSIDERED NS/FW? :

When it becomes implied that nsfw content will be taking place, that’s usually when I put it under the cut. Inappropriate touching/groping/grinding or even just an outright “do you want to have sex?” ---> “yes, please.”

WHO ARE OTHER MUSES YOU SHIP YOUR MUSE WITH? :

Canon muses tend to be pretty obsolete, minus Martin. I guess I also slightly ship her with Legate Rikke because that’s who she married in her first Skyrim file, lmao. I am currently plotting to test the waters with a ship between Lorelei and @mechanicosmia​‘s Sotha Sil because I adore him and it’s something I see potential in, surprisingly. Oh, yeah and @grimhymns​ and I have a cute little ship between my bab and Serana as well.

With oc’s, there is only one ship that I’ve extensively plotted with @grimhymns​, and that’s if she’s still on board with creating Remliel (an Aureal/Golden Saint oc). There have been brief mentions of others, but nothing really developed. I’m always open to welcoming more.

Now, crossover ships? Oh, now I have plenty of those that I would love to write at some point, if I can find willing muns to write them with me. One of my dream crossover ships is Lorelei x Aloy (from Horizon Zero Dawn). I’d at least love to write a close friendship between them if one isn’t willing to write a romantic ship with them. Lorelei would stan Aloy SO MUCH, you have no idea.

ANY NOTPS? :

Not particularly; there aren’t any ships that I’m so much vehemently against. Typically, I’m pretty open to the idea of trying out anything, so long as it makes sense and I can see the potential there. I mean, I definitely can’t see potential in Lorelei being with anyone who represents the opposite of her morality. I feel like there are probably some people out there who ship the HoK with Mehrunes Dagon, for example, lmao.

DOES ONE HAVE TO ASK TO SHIP WITH YOU? :

Well, yes, of course. I’m pretty oblivious af, so unless you ask me directly, I probably won’t pick up on your intentions unless they’re explicitly implied ic or something. And I’d feel uncomfortable if someone just outright decided/assumed that a ship will take place without consulting me about it.
