Rebirth making Cissnei a little quirky is so cute. It feels like she was given so much more personality somehow.

This girl is so emotionally unavailable and stupid 999.9 percent of the time you gotta spell out in big letters she is being to crude or harsh

On top of that, she USED to be able to feel and understand emotions properly , however after seeing @envicussin fall she retorted by going back to a more serious being.

She could not do anything to stop Leviathan from falling, and in order to protect herself from any other sorts of pain and agonies she decided to become more "unavailable" emotionally

She tried her best to be the best lover for Viola and Cupid but she was always worried she wasn't doing well enough and failing her lovers and not meeting expectations.

EXPECTATIONS:

Due to how she was created and how she was trained she believes she has to be a perfectionist at every little thing that someone wants her to do

When she cannot properly do it within the first shot she feels a unholy sense of shame and hates herself and will yell at herself when she is alone , she will ridicule herself and mention how no one wants a failure

PERSONALITY

She was conditioned since the day of her creation that emotions are useless and only lead to vulnerability, and vulnerability can get you killed

She is always giving off a facade of being a rough being one who is genuinely hateful and despises sinners and demonic beings finding them " blasphemous and disgusting "

This is because she has been taught nothing else. She has not been taught positive emotions and only taught disgust and distrust and how to be loyal

But coming back to that : she was slowly learning to become her own person prior to Leviathans fall, but after his fall all her progress halted instantly and she resorted back to her old way of being.

So lute is VERY different from canon , my interpretation is still in the works but here are things to know that are important

- she is a Homunculus she was created NOT BORN , she was made as a sickening experiment

- Lute has FALSE memories of "life" because if she is to find out what she really is and realize she was a creation it will definitely destroy her

- SHE DOESNT HAVE A SOUL!

- she has died before but was reconstructed and recreated, she has no memories of her death however. But on her back right between her wings is a permanent scar

- It would be hard to have a functional relationship with her due to her lack of understanding when it comes to positive emotions, it doesn't mean she is incapable it just means she will struggle

- She is NOT straight at all, she doesn't care what you have etc if you guys are romantic partners she'll respect whatever pronouns you use

- She will get sexual jokes but will probably call them disgusting

- She isn't afraid one one night stands. Everyone has needs even a Homunculus

My brain is racked with mixed emotions bc quitting a job apparently brought shamers out of people who I thought respected my choices. I've a thing, something legal-ish, to tend to regarding a previous employer, the labor office where I live, and possible "re-employment." It's not helping me escape into better thoughts bc I would rather feel secure in every way that I can muster for myself, and this is honestly some not very kosher at all bullshit.
