"sugaya painting everyone during chapter 107 is illogical!": an explanation

OK so I am trying to answer a question from... Literal years ago, where people were puzzled on how Sugaya could have had the perfect spray paint hue to cover all of 3-E backs, making them blend in the background, against the wall of Reaper 2.0 cell.

Here is my theory: Sugaya didn't have one hue in the spray paint bottle, but rather cans full of blank solvent.

Then, the exact hue could be picked from five pigments: red, blue, yellow, black and white. With an artistic eye, Sugaya probably figured out a ratio (70% white, 20% yellow, 5% blue and red,...) to match the surroundings.

It also makes sense they would have a lot of materials, as the class had planned a whole rescue mission for Irina.

Here, in chapter 98, spray paints are even seen used with expertise to aid the sniper duo!

The outfits are also noted to have a "camouflage ability" but to be honest I'm kind of confused as to what it means. Are they easier to blend in to begin with? Is the fabric easy to spray? We saw Sugaya's efforts, so it might also refer to the construction of the garment, having less area of shadow.

BONUS: My actual estimate of the wall color from the anime, using trycolors dot com! Keep in mind there'd be a need to counter the original blue-ish dull color of the uniforms, probably prompting more use out of opposite, warm tints.

Let's do Sugaya for the ask game! The last post about the science guys inspired me to think of him.

I’m not sure which askgame you want me to do so I’ll include both ^^

First impression: he didn’t really show up too much in the show. But he does art so I immediately like him

Impression now: he’s cool. I love the artsy characters (except for one) however this one isn’t too contributive to the plot of the show and didn’t have too many moments but I do like him!

Idea for a story: hm idk. He isn’t in my top favorites. Maybe some more art trio dynamics

Favorite moment: I like it when he says “let’s just make a scarecrow in total silence no big” after they defeated the assassin XD. You totally couldn’t tell if he’s destroying the mood lol

Unpopular opinion: I’m not sure if I have an unpopular opinion of him. He’s very underrated that’s for sure

Favorite relationship: I’ve seen some people ship him with Nakamura and I’m curious about where it came from! I also like his friendship with the art trio who are also his good friends.

Favorite headcanon: I haven’t created any for him yet, but to start off, he’s talented in all forms and media of art but he says he’s only good at some of them

Title: Perverts Fluff No Warning

You flipped a page in your book as you occasionally glanced at the guys talking about Itona’s tank. They had clearly forgotten you were there since they were talking about looking underneath girl’s skirts. You were able to disappear easily, and everyone typically forgot about you. You shook your head going back to your book, though you were intrigued. They would honestly do anything for smut as they began to advise how they could make it better. Even Sosuke had decided to help and paint the tank to make it classroom camouflage. You were annoyed because you actually had a crush on Sosuke, but he was just like the rest of the class. A pervert. Your eye twitched slightly as they decided how to make it better and you, not so subtly, shut your book loudly. Everyone jumped, eyes turning to you and you gave them a forced but disappointed look.

“(Y/N)!?” All of the guys besides Nagisa and Isogai yelled.

“That’s my name. You guys forgot I was here? You didn’t want me listening in on your perverted plans?” You said and they began to sweat profusely. You looked over at Sosuke, and he was blushing and he looked like he wanted to say something but couldn’t.

“How long were you here?” Maehara asked and you stood up packing your bags.

“I never left. So I know...everything. I am definitely texting the girls so they are prepared.” You said and the guys tried to beg you not too, but you shot them all a glare. Sosuke was quiet but it soon ended when he watched you go.

“Wait (Y/N)~” Sosuke jogged up to you, grabbing your hand.

“What?”

“I...”

“Don’t you have a tank to paint to look up girls’ skirts?” You raised your eyebrow at him, and he fell silent.

“Please, I am sorry.”

“Why are you apologizing? It has nothing to do with me... you are just like the rest of the guys in the class.” You said pulling your arm away and walked away. He frowned slightly and he slumped his shoulders.

“I like you (Y/N)... a lot. Really.” Sosuke said, you froze mid-step before continuing to walk, not acknowledging his confession. Sosuke felt his heart crack a bit, since you didn’t say anything.

“Yikes, how did none of you know she was here the entire time?” Muramatsu asked and everyone shrugged their shoulders.

“(Y/N) is literally the queen blending in man. You would think she would stick out in a group of guys being a girl and all.” Teraska said and everyone nodded.

“Hey Sosuke, are you okay?” Isogai asked and Sosuke shook his head.

“No... I really do like her.” He admitted with a slight blush on his cheeks and everyone fell silent.

“Maybe, make it up to her and show her you are serious about you liking her?” Nagisa said and Sosuke nodded his head slightly.

“I am gonna head home. See you guys tomorrow.” He said walking out of the classroom, everyone felt bad for Sosuke since you were so cold. That was actually one of your specialties which was being cold despite being very bubbly, and sweet.

The next morning you walked in to see all the girls yelling at the guys, and you realized you forgot to text them. You were so upset about the guys though you were intrigued that they didn’t notice you. You walked to your desk to see a picture of yourself, that was drawn as well as flowers and chocolates. You blinked surprised before seeing a note from Sosuke. You looked up at him, and he was avoiding your eye contact. You read the note and you blushed slightly, your shoulders relaxing a bit.

‘Hey (Y/N),

Listen, I am sorry. I really do like you, a lot. Please forgive me. My feelings for you are real, and I swear if you forgive me I will never ever join in those things again.

I love you... err like you... no love you...

You couldn’t help but giggle at the awkwardness you felt through the note. How could you not forgive him, after all he was a boy. It didn’t excuse it, but it wasn’t like either one of you were dating. You walked up to him, and kissed his cheek. He blushed slightly and looked at you in shock.

“I will forgive you this time. Just don’t do it again.” You pouted slightly and he had a smile grace his lips and pressed his lips to yours. Almost instantly the sound of camera snaps were heard, you blushed slightly and looked down after he parted and he blushed as well.

“Sorry I forgot for a brief moment where we were.”

“It’s okay.”

“Will you be my girlfriend?”

“Yeah, of course. I would love too, after all I like you as well.” You said and he wrapped his arms around you just as Koro~sensei walked in. You all took your seats you smiled widely at him before sitting down.

Assassination Classroom headcanons: mostly about siblings edition

Maehara and his sisters jokingly argue that the others took all of one thing so now they don't have a specific trait.

Oldest sister, at least 5 cm shorter than the two of them: it's not fair, how come you two got all the height genes??

Middle sister, the only awkward and quiet one: at least you can make friends easily, why did both of you take all the social skills??

Maehara, the only one who gets scores lower than 80%: was it really necessary for you to take all the braincells??

They're all actually slightly bitter, insecure, or jealous because of their lack of social skills/braincells/height. All of them know it, all of them are treating their own insecurity as a joke.

(maehara and the oldest both think the middle is lonely when she’s just the only one who’s fine with not constantly having someone’s attention. the middle is the only one in their family who knows how insecure the oldest is about her height and feels guilty for being taller.)

Oldest loves crime K-drama, middle likes romcom or slice of life K-drama. Both make Maehara watch with them. The only thing they've (willingly) watched all together is Hotel De Luna. Everyone said it was good so the oldest wanted to watch it, Maehara and the middle think IU is awesome.

Sugaya is pretty laid back. His older sister? She acts like it, but she really isn't. She's got quite a few justified fears, since she somehow has most of bad luck between of the two of them

Examples: when she was six and accidentally locked herself in her room for over half a day, when she went on a field trip to the zoo and a monkey stole her fries and scratched her arm, when a goat ate her hair when she was five and she thought it was trying to kill her, when a spider crawled onto her arm while she was trying to sleep and it was really dark, ect.

While Nakamura is a very open person and enjoys talking, her older brother is a lot more quiet and reserved, and lets Nakamura take over the conversation when the talk. She sometimes feel like he doesn't really care about her

That being said, he does have her, back though, he just  doesn't really show it much when he doesn't feel the need to. Once Nakamura had a really bad day and just sat down on the couch next to her brother while he was playing video games and started crying. He noticed and talked to her until she stopped crying. And then the two of them teamed up in a shooting game and absolutely destroyed all the other players.

Hara’s little brothers both think that Hara’s really good at cooking, so Hara offered to teach them. The youngest picked it up pretty easily, and Hara was super proud. The older was honestly kinda sad about it, because he couldn’t get it and gave up because he felt bad about being worse than the youngest. 

A month or so later, he asked Hara if she would help him try to learn how to crochet. It took a few days, but he got the hang of the basics and made a little octopus friend two weeks afterwards.

Fuwa is a huge fan of manga, and her brother is just as big of a fan but with books. When Fuwa had started getting into manga, their parents basically decided that fandom related messes should preferably stay in one room, so they would have an easier time looking for things.

They cleaned out a spare room so now Fuwa and her brother do all their fan things in their. They have a little recording area (aka a laptop, a headset, and a microphone) for dubbing manga, or reading out their favorite chapter, or even making a podfic or two. The walls are covered with little notes and red string for their fan theories.

The two of them are making a huge crossover of one of Fuwa's favorite mangas and her brother's favorite book series. The outline includes 7 multi chapter fanfics and 3 one shots, and if they finish it without running out of motivation and patience, they might make a podfic for it too. They have a good pair of parents, who are very proud and supportive of them working together and their huge project. They do remind them not to overwork themselves and to still make at least a little time to study.

Kanzaki and her brother both take piano lessons. Kanzaki's much better than him, and does enjoy playing the piano a little. Her brother absolutely hates it because he's horrible at it. He probably cries over being bad at piano more than he cried about virtually anything else. The fact that his little sister is better than him makes it hurt even more, though he won't admit that. It's not her fault he sucks. He still won't quit the lessons though, since their mom likes piano.

First impression: I think I was neutral to him when I first got into AssClass. But at some point, I loved him! I had a whole Group 2/Art Trio phase, and really paid attention to him a lot.

Impression now: Sugaya is so great!! I really should write him more because he’s an absolute joy. He’s like half chaotic enabler, half relaxed chill dude.

Favorite moment: It’s a tiny scene in the baseball episode when he tells Sugino to keep throwing good pitches, because “he and the guys sure as hell can’t catch.” Honestly he’s a hilarious mood

Idea for a story: I can’t think of any right now tbh, besides maybe some general Art Trio fluff in some way.

Unpopular opinion: Ngl I lowkey think his art talent is a bit exaggerated in canon lmao. Like yeah a 14 year old can be an art prodigy ofc! But some of the stuff he does really makes me ?? 😂 This is a minor thing though, it doesn’t annoy me at all.

Favorite relationship: Mimuraaaaaa. Honorable mention to Chiba!

Favorite headcanon: When he gets older, he turns into a stoner. It’s so common to see him casually smoking a blunt while working on art.

Sosuke x Reader

Title: Cater To You Fluff No Warning

You held the bagged lunch that you made Sosuke, and you bit your lip shyly. You had a huge crush on Sosuke, and you wanted to tell him. You weren’t exactly shy unless he was talking to you directly. That’s when you became a stuttering, and blushing mess. All you wanted to do was cater to him. That is why you decided to make him lunch. You began to walk to him, and tapped his shoulder. He turned his attention to you and looked at you surprised.

“Hey (Y/N)...” He said and your hands began to shake slightly as everyone’s attention was now on you. You held the lunch up to him, and he was shocked.

“I-I made you lunch. I hope you like it.” You said and he took it, which made you smile widely as he seemed grateful.

“Thank you (Y/N). You didn’t have to though.”

“I wanted to, I want to be the one to cater all of your needs.” You were blushing as everyone fell out of their chairs. That was not how they thought you would confess your feelings for him, but Sosuke couldn’t help but smile at you.

“I want to do the same for you.” He said kissing your cheek, and held your hand slightly. He had a slight blush on his cheeks but led you out of the classroom. You happily followed behind him, so you guys could get away from the prying eyes.

“Well that’s one way of confessing...” Kaede said, and the girls nodded their heads.

“Leave it to (Y/N)...” Rio hummed and Maehara was sulking slightly.

You were curious as to where Sosuke was taking you but you didn’t question him. You only wanted to be with him, and you were happy. You laced your fingers with his and he looked at your hands before at you. You were avoiding his eyes because you were blushing, and he knew it but he kept quiet about it.

After walking for about fifteen minutes, you both arrived at his home. You blinked shocked but followed him into his home.

“Why am I here?”

“If...we go anywhere, the class will follow. We are safe from prying eyes if we are in one of our homes.” He admitted rubbing his neck and you nodded your head slightly kissing his cheek but he turned his head so you kissed his lips.

“I am glad you like me back Sosuke.”

“Of course, I always liked you. Though why did you make me a lunch?”

“Well, I couldn’t think of a birthday gift... so I decided to make you a lunch... and confess.” You said looking down shyly.

“Today isn’t my birthday...”

“Huh!?” You looked up at him and he couldn’t help but laugh slightly covering it behind his hand.

“What do you mean?”

“My birthday is October 25... what made you think my birthday was today?”

“K-Karma and Rio... I wanted to confess but didn’t know how they said do it today since it was your birthday...” Sosuke wrapped his arms around you in a tight hug and you hugged back unable to believe that Karma and Rio lied to you. The longer you thought about it, the more you realized they were the class pranksters. Of course they tricked you into confessing so they could have blackmail material.

“I am so embarrassed.” You said into his chest before hugging him back and he set his lunch you made on the table before pulling you to your room.

“Yeah, Karma and Rio tricked you completely. I still have a few weeks before my birthday. I am glad you confessed, though. I can now cuddle you, and kiss you.” He admitted as you both walked into his room. He then pulled you on top of him while he lay on his bed, yawning. He always seemed to be so tired, and you couldn’t help but adore that. You then noticed a picture of you on his wall.

He followed your eyes, before realizing he still had that picture he drew of you on his wall. He began to mentally freak out as you looked up at him.

“You drew me?”

“I couldn’t help it, you are the most beautiful person. I just had to draw you, I promise I am not weird.” Sosuke said but you only kissed his lips shyly with a small smile.

“I think it’s sweet.” You said sitting up to walk closer to the picture. He followed close behind before wrapping his arms around you as he placed his head on your shoulder.

“You got...every detail.”

“Yeah, I can never miss a detail when it comes to you.” He hummed and you looked at his desk and it had several different carvings, paintings, and drawings. Majority of them were you. You picked the carving up and it was of you.

“You are amazing Sosuke...”

“Thank you, I was going to give you that on your birthday. You weren’t ever supposed to see these, but I guess it’s too late now.” He said with a small smile and you looked up at him.

“You know when my birthday is?”

“Yeah, I was able to ask the girls.” He said turning you so you stood in front of him. You set the carving down and wrapped your arms around his neck with that beautiful smile that he fell in love with.

“Sosuke?”

“Hmm?”

“Can I be the person you draw all the time?”

“I would love to draw you all the time.” He said with a wide smile, a smile that you haven’t seen. That triggered your own bright smile and you couldn’t help but giggle softly as he showered your face in small kisses. The kisses that you both shared were so sweet and innocent that it filled you both with happiness. He held you close as he moved his repeated pecks to your lips and you kissed him back stepping closer to him.

You let a small sigh out against his lips as he gently led you back to the bed. He sat down pulling you into his lap. Once you pulled away you cuddled into his chest kissing his exposed skin, which wasn’t much just his neck and face. He smiled nuzzling your hair as he rubbed your back gently.

“I love you (Y/N).”

“I love you too Sosuke. So much.” You looked up at him and he smiled setting you on the bed before blushing brightly.

“I do have something for you... I carved it and decorated it for a moment that I could give it to you. I wanted it to be perfect...” He said reaching in the drawer.

“What is it?” He held up a pair of matching wooden rings that were beautifully decorated and smoothed out.

“Promise rings... I didn’t want to buy something when making it by hand can actually show how much I care for you. I promise I will never hurt you... or break up with you.”

“Oh Sosuke~” You clung to him laughing as he placed it on the right hand ring finger instead of your left hand. You knew why he did that and you didn’t mind, and he placed his ring on his.

“Wait...does it have our initials?” You asked looking at the beautifully designed wooden ring and he nodded his head. It also looked glass on top of the ring but it wasn’t, it was just painted to look like a flower was inside of glass. You were obsessed with it and wondered just how long it took him.

“I love it... Thank you so much Sosuke.” You said and he smiled and relaxed glad you liked the design of it. He had spent practically the entire year working on it in hopes at one point you both would end up dating.

“I am glad you like it, I wanted something that wasn’t so normal...”

“This is so perfect, different. I can tell you worked so hard on it... and put a lot of heart into it.” You said and he pecked your lips as you both went to cuddle on the bed. You couldn’t stop looking at the ring and you looked over at him. His was similar except it was a picture of you holding the flower that was designed on your ring. You looked up at him and he pecked your lips multiple times.
