Y'know Woochul was also one of the first ships I got into, and I feel like their dynamic is such a breath of fresh air.

There's no tried and true rivalry, not (alot) of misunderstandings, just two dudes chilling out with each other.

Two people that are rounded characters on their own, but also make each other better. Whether it be by Jin-woo limiting the havoc he wreaks when he's fighting (and failing everytime because he's too damn strong) or the way Jin-chul subtly, but insistently, looks out for Jin-woo makes my heart fuzzy and warm.

I just think they're a ship that has something most other ships I ship don't- a mature understanding of one another and compromise. (I ship too many enemies to lovers ships man. Sue me I like red and blue)

I haven't talked much about Woochul/Chulwoo, but I like how they always seemed to just click together in the fanfics I've read. A progression of getting to know each other and subtly helping each other in their own way (Jinchul looking out for Jinwoo when Jinwoo is still weak while Jinwoo looks out for Jinchul when he becomes an S-Rank in return)

While my headcanons on their relationship vary since I haven't thought about them in a while, I do think they have a good understanding of each other, despite having different life experiences. I also think they would communicate fairly often but not actually say what they mean and instead, give hints that the other picks up on quickly. So they communicate well with each other but in their own way. I like to think that Jinwoo enjoys teasing Jinchul from time to time too (That one moment in the side stories where Jinwoo teased Jinchul about the drawing of Beru? Priceless)

I also like to imagine that their morals line up as well, which is why I think they're very compatible (Side note but in my mind, Jinwoo with Haein: Would save the world for her; Jinwoo with Jinchul: Would sacrifice the world for him)

I actually think all my top ships have a mature understanding of each other (Choibaek do understand each other, they just pretend not to sometimes, especially in public-), but Woochul/Chulwoo are one of the more popular ones that are like that. And you're good! Most of my ships start out as enemies to lovers haha I mean, look at my main one-

sniperspy give a little kiss kiss but then they look over and pyro is just….. staring at them. no soul behind those goggles. they kinda freaked out by this but then all of a sudden pyro starts following them around like a little kid and their parents.

Hi, yes I use procreate! (Sorry I’m literally answering this a month late…) But here’s a link to my earlier post about this!

It’s literally my entire main brush set. Every single artwork I’ve posted on this tumblr has been dependent on this set, including my comics, and illustrations regardless of how different in style they look. I do have other brushes which are specific to creating more realistic backgrounds, but I typically just use the traditional brush and warp it for texture. 😂

If you guys want my entire asset of stamp, and texture brushes that I’ve stocked up like a hoarder, let me know! I also recently got a watercolor brush pack I really like, and I can share that too!

But other than that, the one brush I use most is my sketching brush, which I’ve just labeled “Sketch Rough”. I’m not that good at line art (people who can do line art are incredible), so this brush has been a life saver for me! I work with more of a painterly style, and I prefer not inking my sketches or tracing over them again. (Unless I want them cleaner… 😭) I tend to just draw my sketches then painting over or under it.

(It’s also slightly texturized! It’s still pretty clean to the point where you can still recognize what shapes you’ve drawn, but the texture adds a nice touch.)

I've been a huge fan of your art of Seb and Clora here on Tumblr for quite some time now. Maybe a year? Idk time is weird aksbjs. Anyway, I'm an artist myself, and I was just wondering, put simply, whats your art process? Like how you shade and color and stuff.

DAMN youve basically been here since day 1 THANK YOUU😭 im glad you like my stuff!! and ur not awkward at all!!🥹💖💖 and i actually posted a timelapse of my process on twitter not that long ago, so ill post it here as well!

as you can see seb takes me the longest LMAOO hes such a menace for me to draw still...and i dont even think seeing my process helps since its just so much trial and error and warping until it looks right BAHAHA (this is from like a month ago and i ALREADY think seb looks off here too 💀) but my process is super simple, i just colour and cell shade on multiply and then i add a grain texture on soft light 10% at the end. i dont rly do anything fancy for colouring, bc i used to over-render my art and make it really complicated, but now im a fan of just having it look kinda...flat? if that makes sense LOL. i like it aesthetically AND its also easier. OH also something i add to the end of almost all my pieces is this auto-action from clip studio assets which basically adjusts the hue/saturation/brightness. here's an example of what the original flat colours look like vs. when i add this filter:

even if you dont have clip studio the same effect could be achieved with just manually tweaking with the hue/saturation levels afterwards, but i like this filter just cuz its easy and makes the colours more how i like them HOPE THIS HELPS💖💖
