i'm fairly new to the gl scene, i watched GAP as it aired and, ahem, HATED it. so i wanted to ask, ive been scrolling through the gl tags i see alot of this 'chao planoy' person and i want to know what exactly they did? from what i understand they wrote GAP and shouldn't we be glad? given that its the first fully fledged GL series, however bad it was. like is it a jkr situation or what??

I appreciate the kind words, really (you have no idea how much) but I just gotta say... I'm not the person to come to with a blanket statement about hating GAP. I know you didn't mean anything by it, so this isn't being directed at you specifically ... but there's just a lot more to the series that was pushed aside for what was seen as boring/problematic.

i have 40 years experience on meeting doctors. ~35 of meeting gynecologists.

In 35 years, no doctor ever took me serious when it came to period related problems, be it pain, blood loss, depression or swelling.

I've had doctors tell me, at age 30, that they would not let me have a hysterectomy. Or tie my tubes (which i didn't want - who needs the bleeding when you can't get pregnant? Never understood that.). At 33 i was hit with "but what if you meet the man of your dreams now and he wants children?" - after i nearly died giving birth, had postpartum depression with attempted suicide, a scar from the surgery that showed i had been cut open wrong and stitched together wrong, had permanent nerve damage from the emergency sectio and permanent nerve damage from the pregnancy, and trauma so bad i can't remember 90% of that pregnancy and get physically unwell being confronted with the topic.

I had a therapist "abandon" me, because she became pregnant and slightly knew about my issue (and apparently knew enough to realize that watching her being pregnant would fuck me up mentally).

And i was still told that i would not get the treatment i wanted.

I had doctors prescribing me painkillers slightly below the "cancer treatment" stuff because i asked for a prescription of Buscopan (cramp relieving med which we use up approximately a package a month which costs a fortune and has no generica) because this person, who has studied medicine, did not know how to properly treat menstrual pain.

If you think it is "easy" to get taken serious, you are dead wrong. If you think people can just switch doctors, you are wrong. If you think, you can just easily walk in some other dr.'s office to get a second opinion, you're wrong.

Yes, people should not experience high level pain regularly. Yes it indicates something is wrong. Yes one should insist on better treatment. But. It is not "easy" as that.

I am 17, but I don't post anything rated more than 18+ (very explicit nsfw for example). The only "suggestive" art I did were scout torture posts and sex jokes that happened like 4-5 times in total (poolverine post, speeding bullet sketches from last year, and that one nana redraw). All of these things are rated 16+

Unfortunately, yes, people see these sex jokes and ultimately become very horny and start leaving very explicit comments about my art. But I ignore them. It's that simple. If they make me feel really uncomfortable I will ask them to stop. If I don't set my boundaries at any gven moment still doesn't mean I don't have them

People on the internet became very open about their horniness about characters, and while it does raise my suspicions I just ignore it when it becomes too much. I learn to ignore things I don't like

I will never post anything explicit on public, maybe even after I turn 18, and I will try to minimaze/maybe warn when I post 16+ artwork. I hate bringing that topic up, but I really am holding everything suggestive I do to MYSELF and never post it, even tho you guys will close your eyes about it in 6 months

idk i’m just insane about these two in a very non shipping way. sometimes it just feels like whenever people just make them friends while their big siblings are beating each other to death, they’re glossing over a huge chunk of kit’s character. kit is just as angry at tails as surge is at sonic
