back 👍 ended up using tumblr app more than i anticipated so i don't think i was as noticeably absent as i thought i would be 😅 (more under the cut for the curious)

wanted to show my rgg/je mutuals that i went as tomizawa for one day of the con :D my sister was chitose! it was a lot of fun to be matching... i understand how people get addicted to this stuff now.... there were quite a few majimas and kiryus around so we got a few pictures which was fun! got recognised by a few people despite it being a pretty lowkey cosplay. i kept a little notebook on me so i could give sketches to people who said hi! i think i might have to do that again...

touristy stuff + karaoke (my friend made sure to pick a spot where we could sing bakamitai!) my sister's pictures are a lot better than mine are 😅 so i nicked most of these from her. we got a bit seasick on the boat... the open sea really is no joke....

Yokai to Human Form Tidbit

Ok so there's human designs/ forms for Caspian's yokai friends 1, for fun, and 2, cause there's some situations where it's convenient/just better to have some in human forms (EX: Whisper coming to Caspian's choir concerts and conferences bc his parents are. fairly absent). Everyone has their own opinions on it and stuff and in this post I'ma talk about Baddinyan's!!

So fun little fact he does Not Like being human. This is mostly for body dysphoria adjacent feelings, like all of a sudden he has different hair, no fur, different ear placement, etc. The 'phantom limb' thing tends to happen with his tails, too, which is trippy and kinda uncomfortable. He also hates that a lot of his senses are dulled. smell, hearing, sight (especially in the dark), it makes everything feel kinda hazy and causes him to be a lot more stressed about everything.

Idk maybe I just think it's kinda funny to see a character thrown into a whole new form and reasonably be like. what. the hell this sucks. His easygoing (nice way of me saying his lazy ahh) and usually pretty chill/surprisingly level-headed mood is def worsened when he's constantly feeling skin that doesn't technically belong to him. A form he shouldn't really have.

As a result, he's oftentimes irritable and anxious in this form, with some days being better than others. He typically avoids having to use it unless he needs to though, and refuses to take his glasses off for anything. Has to be bribed with a Chocobar to enma forbid go out in public. He's also less used to it than most due to his extreme aversion to it. He just hates it and everything is physically gross and cloudy and nothing's in the right place and he can't explain why.

Badude, on the other hand, doesn't mind being human! It feels more similar to his body than it does for Baddinyan, and is kind of a fun change of pace every now and then. He's Baddinyan's like. closest friend besides Caspian in this AU, so he's typically who's convincing him to not kill everyone in the room and/or take off the stupid leaf in public lol. Their convos can sometimes go like

"C'mon, it's just until we get outta the store. Don't get your non-existent tails in a twist-"

"Shut up and do nyot remind me right nyeow."

"(Oh it's like. that kind of day whoopsies) Mbmb, we can ditch these nerds and go look at the candy isle or somethin' for a bit..?"

He stinks at comforting people or anything like that but tries. Sometimes. idiots

The world feels smaller somehow, contained within the walls of your apartment where Connor sits, angled slightly toward you, his gaze unwavering yet serene. He has that brooding, intense look—a mix of steel and tenderness—that you’ve come to recognize as uniquely his. It’s as though he’s carrying a burden, one he won’t let you see, and yet you feel its weight as if he’s drawn you into his orbit without permission.

“Connor,” you say softly, trying to break the quiet, “you’ve been… around a lot more lately.”

His eyes flicker, something shadowy dancing behind them, a vulnerability he usually keeps hidden. He doesn’t answer right away, just lets his gaze travel over your features as if memorizing every detail. The room feels charged, the air between you like the fine thread of a spider’s web—delicate and unbreakable all at once.

Finally, he speaks, his voice hushed but firm. “I just want to make sure you’re safe. Is that so wrong?”

There’s a faint, haunting cadence in his words, something raw and possessive yet laced with an almost tragic reverence. You feel the intensity radiating off him, a barely restrained storm beneath his calm exterior.

“Nothing could happen to you,” he continues, almost to himself. “Not on my watch. I’d make sure of that.”

You’ve always known Connor’s protectiveness runs deep, but tonight, it feels like there’s something else lurking beneath the surface. An edge, a quiet desperation that clings to the room, thick as fog.

“Connor…” you say his name with a gentle tone, hoping it might pull him out of whatever dark place he’s retreating into. He’s so close now, leaning forward, his hand reaching out as if compelled by some invisible force. When his fingers graze your cheek, his touch is featherlight, as though he fears you’ll vanish.

“If I could keep you here,” he whispers, his tone taking on a dreamy, almost poetic quality, “locked away from the world… I would. Not because I want to take anything from you, but because I… I couldn’t bear it if anything happened to you.”

It’s a confession wrapped in longing, and you see the truth of it in his eyes, where constellations seem to burn just for you. There’s something about his gaze that feels eternal, as if the universe itself has handed him the task of guarding you.

“You mean a lot to me,” he says finally, each word slow and deliberate, as though he’s trying to etch them into your soul. “More than you know.”

In that moment, his love feels like an uncharted ocean—beautiful and terrifying, with depths you’re not sure you’re ready to explore. But his sincerity anchors you, and, despite the intensity of his words, you can’t help feeling safe, cocooned in the quiet power of his devotion.

okay. i feel like you and yuuji meet in a stereotypical way

yuuji is your best friend. you met when you guys were sat next to each other in school (classic case of quiet kid and loud kid) but yuuji is uber friendly so he naturally made friends with you. you guys always clicked. in a weird way. no one else could ever fully grasp it

but you just get each other. you have similar mindsets and find each other comfortable. so you grow up and into each other - and become best friends after a long while. he comes over a lot to yap while you study and while it looks one-sided - you often take care of and look after yuuji and make sure he's not carrying too much at once.

anyway . you have a really good relationship. you're not glued at the hip but it's like, you stick together so much people often ask where the other is when one of you is missing. you get older to around middle school and puberty starts to really . hit you know.

a lot of girls confess to yuuji in that time. it's normal. sure he's rowdy and loud but he's the kind of good guy you notice when you really talk to him. fundamentally good, and not crude and shallow like other boys your age. popular but not obviously. it's the first time in your relationship you are self conscious about being his best friend and just happening to be a girl

there's rumors and stuff. you and him never talk about it until some stuff happen (like yuuji seeing it cause problems) and then you talk. the gist of it is basically that - you're yuujis best friend in the world and nothing could change that. it doesn't matter who you are. he's just trying to show you he cares

and you realize right then you are in love with him.

years go by. you get a little older. you go through highschool much like middle school - with no boyfriend. yuuji dates infrequently but usually gets broken up with. this pattern repeats into college.

(what you don't know, because yuuji never bothered to ask - is that the girls he used to date broke up with him simply because he wouldn't shut up about you. everything he should've done with a girlfriend he did with you already. he even keeps pictures)

when you get into college and grow into adulthood, you and yuuji are still extremely close. you chose to stay home and so did he - so not much is very different. except now you're meeting all sorts of new people and having new relationships form.

you don't know how exactly it comes up. you're studying for an upcoming midterm, yuuji is talking about how he got turned out by the cute girl that he works with and he pauses and asks.

"you know, i know you study hard but you should have fun too," he says this laying in your bed like he owns it, turning his head to look at you where you're bent over your desk. "haven't you thought about getting a boyfriend now that you're in college?"

you are good at brushing this off. you've been doing it for years. you do not tell yuuji that you don't date guys even after you get asked out because you're in love. you just shrug and tell him straight.

"i already told you. im not going to think about dating until i'm finished with school and i've held my career for two years."

"but aren't you bored?" yuuji asks, sincere. he doesn't press you but he is being nosy. "i don't play around that much either but i don't know. a little is healthy. and you've always working hard. playing around with handsome guys might be fun."

"not gonna change my mind."

"don't you get i dunno," he lays on his back. "sexually frustrated, though?"

you pause. you flinch. you've never talked about this before.

you clear your throat a little. "don't be inappropriate. and i do the job myself just fine."

"i guess girls don't have to worry about losing their virginity as much as guys but,"

you try to move on as swiftly as you can from talking about this in relation to yourself. "you make it sound like you slut around, yuu-chan."

he laughs a little behind you. "well no but you know. it's nice laying with another person. only if we're together though."

"yeah, sure. good for you. stop pestering me about it then and go get a girlfriend."

"so mean," he replies, laying back on his stomach. "but do you really not care at all about losing it?"

you frown, swallowing the words explaining that you do care but not just anyone will do. you give him a half truth. a lie of omission.

you freeze. you're sure you're mishearing it. "what about you?"

"well... you trust me right? so i could help you with it until you do find a boyfriend,"

you turn around. surely not. surely you misheard. surely he did not tell you to have sex with him so casually. you turn around to verify he's fucking with you.

only to find the most blatant sincerity you've ever seen. he's never been entirely stupid but well. he has his moments.

"do you even know what you're saying? you have to get it up for me to do that."

you think at that point you're definitely losing your shit but no. unfortunately your guy is dead serious. and you know, yuuji is an idiot but he's not enough of an idiot to not know it's unconventional - but in the moment, in the second he asks, his reasoning is for good. he gets a weird little feeling thinking about you losing it to someone you don't trust you know?

you obviously debate with him on this. you refute him, even - telling him that there's no way he thinks that's a good idea. and you go back and forth and you stop him at some point. to just be like

"do you even think you could kiss me?"

and yuuji just stands to his feet, leans over your desk, and kisses you.

and well. after that, it's kind of like you can't keep your hands off of each other.

it's clumsy your first time. you have no experience. but yuuji is your best friend, and he's himself - so he's patient and gentle and sooo very helpful. he teaches you to kiss and breathe through your nose and open your mouth and all sorts of other things. he's big so it's kind of hard to put it in but he takes is time. the sex feels really, really good and is intimate - almost naturally because that's your very best friend in the entire universe.

and so like. you guys have sex. you dont really plan it or anything but somehow when you get alone - it just gets so, so tense and neither of you can seem to cool down.

and how could you, you know? you've always wanted to fuck yuuji and maybe, seemingly, he wants it too. he gets so red when you bend down on your knees and try to blow him and it makes you so confident. you just... start fucking all the time. and you guys have been so close that no one cares if you two are alone together or not.

you're kind of torn up about it, but yuuji is the kind of guy to not hook up with more than one person - so it's not hard to delude yourself into dating. he's already sweet and cuddly and thoughtful. and you know, you've always been so, so strict with yourself. you're really on top of your shit you know? so you reason with yourself, fine. ill just do this and see what happens. it's not like you.

so weirdly, in a weird way - you're kind of fine. you're a bit numb, a bit adjusted to it.

he never.... saw you in any other way. not even when other people kept assuming he did. you're a girl so he knew people would try to box you into that with him regardless but it was never like that. or at least, in his head it was never like that.

sure, whenever he dates someone - he is subconsciously compares them to you and sure, no matter what the person he has the most fun with is you but that's normal right? best friends is a big deal after all

you have sex for the first time and it's like. all of a sudden he's seeing all these aspects of you completely different. it's such a dramatic shift for him. like.

for what its worth, i do think you two end up together with a minimal amount of angst. but the amount of heavy ass pining...the months it goes on of you two getting insanely, unbearably intimate and then not talking about it. and like. yuuji tests the waters with you. kisses you before he leaves, and does all sorts of stuff but you always go with it. you both cover it up but eventually it all spills and i think that's mostly cause yuuji is so open ......

Summary: Like I said earlier, self-indulgent perfect boyfriend joel taking care of you after your IUD insertion.

I’m dying.

That was the notification that popped up on Joel’s phone while he was at work. He was confused, but mostly just concerned. You’d usually send him a message with an egregious amount of punctuation or emojis to emphasize your mood, so to see something so… bland was worrying. He didn’t think he would be able to sit patiently for a reply to a text and calls you instead “Baby, you alright? What happened?” His voice is soft but stressed at the same time, wanting to make sure that you are alright. 

And despite your current agony, he did soothe you. The low timbre of his voice, the way you could imagine his brow creasing, was more than any anti-anxiety pill could do for you. “I got my IUD put in.” you know he could hear just how pitiful you sounded, curled up in bed with your heating pad currently burning a hole into your skin “Everything hurts, I’m dying.” 

You were absolutely tugging on his heartstrings and he could feel his protectiveness taking over. “Oh sugar,” he coos into the phone “I’ll be over in a little bit, alright? You hang tight for me, I'm on my way.” He doesn’t even give you time to protest before he hangs up the phone and tells Tommy he’s taking an early day today, heading over to you as soon as possible.  The next half hour was spent with you curled in bed, trying to get comfortable and failing. You could barely stomach any food, the ibuprofen wasn’t doing anything, and your heating pad felt like it was barely on despite it staying at the highest setting. All of the lights in your room were off and you just wanted to curl into a hole, it was like your period cramps had gotten steroids and you were dealing with the aftermath. 

About forty minutes into your routine of deep breaths and groaning into a pillow you hear your front door open, and a gentle knock on your bedroom door. “Honey?” Joel’s soft voice calls out “Oh baby…” he drops the bags of goodies he’d picked up for you and moves to brush a few strands of hair from your sweaty forehead, laying a kiss on your skin. “That bad?” you all but manage to nod in response to his question, clutching the heating pad closer to your stomach. He pulls out a bag of chocolates he’d gotten from the store and hands you a piece. “C’mon baby, eat somethin’ for me.” 

You open your mouth and let him give you a piece of the chocolate, a smile finding its way onto your lips. “Thank you, Joel,” you whisper, looking at him like he’d hung the stars for you. “Y’know what I really need though?” you ask, taking a deep breath through the monstrous cramp that hit you “Boyfriend weighted blanket.” Joel can’t help but laugh aloud at your words, his hand running over your back in soft motions, rubbing at your hips to help keep the aches away from you. He would give into anything you asked of him in a heartbeat, and if you wanted him to lay on top of you to feel better, he would do it. 

“Alright, pretty baby. One boyfriend weighted blanket coming up.” He stands up and stretches out before he lays down, his weight practically smushing you into the mattress. You let out a sigh of relief at the constant pressure against your body, helping the pain and tiredness fade in the moment. You can see him rummaging through a grocery bag next to your bed through your peripheral vision, and letting out a snort of laughter when he pulls out a giant tub of Advil. 

You try to keep a straight face when he puts it on your side table, right in your line of sight, but you can't help the giggles that leave your lips. “That thing could cure a small village of aches and pains, honey.” you chew your lip in a half attempt to stay quiet. 

You can feel Joel shrug on top of you, pressing a kiss to the back of your head. “Wanted to make sure you were all good this weekend, I’m not leaving you for a damn second.” he murmurs against your hair “Got some soup on the way too, know you barely eat anythin’ anyway.” your heart was overflowing with how much love you had for this man. The one who had offered to take you to your appointment, to get a vasectomy so that you wouldn't have to go through the pain of this, your perfect man.

Seeing the new Azul OB panels just made me think about Jovie in book 3 and her reaction to his overblot because god this girl can't catch a break.

She spends the majority of her time in NRC during their first year trying to get close to Azul again, despite the fact he's changed quite a bit. All she can see is their childhood friend due to her clinging and being stuck in the past, not wanting to acknowledge that Azul has changed a lot.

She remembers how joyous Azul was with her when they were little, and she wants nothing more than to make him feel like that again because, in the end, he's the only person in her life (other than her mom and younger sister) who came back into her life. It gave her hope for something genuinely meaningful. (She was never good with making friends, and the ones she did have were pretty fake. So she basically said, "fuck it I'll be whoever I want to be, and anyone who doesn't like it can suck it.")

Jovie is known for doing whatever she wants around campus. For being someone who doesn't listen to others or authority and only seeks out her own entrainment and fun. But when it comes to Azul, they're willing to do whatever he needs because they are genuinely afraid to lose him again. She's uncharacteristically quite and calm around him because she fears sabotaging the one relationship she truly wants to keep, as shaky as it is. She doesn't want to be a bother to someone she cares to be around.

And, well, that is also the reason Jovie switches sides to help the Prefect destroy the contracts. Jovie hates the fact Azul tries to erasure his past in any way he can, but doesn't confront him about it in fear of conflict (and the one time she does after the scene in his VIP room, they drop it quickly as it wasn't going anywhere). She thinks this will help him, but it just ends with him over-blotting.

And, like, imagine you've been working hard to help this person who genuinely means so much to you (but you're unaware of what they think of you because they hide it), you've been preparing potions and spells to help them with their deals, with his restaurant- hell, she even personally helped him with his flying!

And in the moment when they genuinely need your help, when they need to be saved by you in their worst moment- you do nothing. Because the shock and guilt of the situation hit you like a train, and it makes you freeze still, unable to do or even think anything.

Doesn't help that during her shock OB Azul was able to snatch her magic, making her almost useless in the fight. Jovie's inactivity in that singular moment is what ends with her distancing herself post-book 3, and moving into Ramshackle. She feels like she's "betrayed" the one person she wanted to help the most, and just cannot even deal with facing it head on.

In her head, it's much better to leave first rather than be left once more.

The most frustrating thing about canon Nexus is how his morals, motivations, and goals seem to see-saw back and forth all the time. at first, he became how he is now due to Solar's death. he spiraled in his grief, identity-issues, and abandonment. but... now his motivation is to become an all powerful god??? while it's most likely that NSP is at play and affecting his thought process, it's... well, it's really hard to take him seriously as a villain because of it, lol. for an audience to enjoy, and even sympathize in some cases, with a villain, their goals and motivations have to be concrete. they have to be relatable, or at least understandable, but Nexus' whole thing is... not, Imho. and I know I'm not the only person who feels this way!!!

I see a lot of people calling Nexus "cringe", and the thing is, when it comes to canon Nexus, they're not really... wrong??? The worst thing Nexus has done so far is make Old Moon see his past victims, which is fucked up of him to do, but.. so far, that's kind of it??? other than that, his "villainy" consists of saying empty threats and cheesy evil one-liners. hell, he was supposed to kidnap Sun yesterday but instead spent the whole episode yapping and venting to him, chasing Sun around in the worlds darkest game of tag before getting some lead right in the face dkfjhsdfsd

Also, notice how he's only targeted Old Moon when it comes to actual physical violence? not Lunar, Earth, Solar, or Sun, but Old Moon? yeah, I did too. we already know that Nexus does everything because he's lashing out, but as of rn the only target he's gotten his hands on physically being O.M...? well. I think it says a lot. cause' yeah, he sure as shit scared the life out of the other Celestials, but he's never put his hands on them!! the only other one of them he harmed physically was Earth- and not only was he not aiming for her, she was just in the way- he felt immediate regret for his actions once in space, and has yet to even see Earth ever since that day.

So, I really have no idea if he's going to be "redeemed" or not. one second he's showing signs he might be, and the next he's falling further down the "pretty badly written villain" rabbit-hole. if he does get something akin to a redemption arc, he'll prolly mostly be accepted in the eyes of the viewers, considering a lot of peeps sympathize or at least understand where he's coming from, but I seriously doubt the other Celestials would take him back. the only one's who might see him as family/a close friend again are Sun and Solar, but even then, nothing would ever be the same.

I hope he gets redeemed, or at least freed from the hold Dark Sun has on him and he's able to live his own life, I really do. at his core, Nexus is a good person. a good person who was crushed under the weight of the shadow of the man he was born under. and we know this because he used to be New Moon. sweet, dorky New Moon.

New Moon, who made inventions like sentient knives and whoopee cushions. New Moon, who had matching My Little Pony stickers with his best friend. New Moon, who bought a whole ass island-luxury-house for Sun because he wanted to make him feel better and give him the proper space to heal. and New Moon- the poor freshly-baked A.I who gave his all to make sure he could do everything that Old Moon could, but it just wasn't enough. he tried and tried and tried, but it wasn't enough.

So yeah, idk if he's getting one in canon, but to me, he more than deserves a good ending, for the life he was given. let him be at peace.

sorry for the late response anon, life got a bit busy (projects, responsibilities, getting sick, etc)

anyway, this ask has been haunting my narrative for so long and i really wanted to go ham with my answer, and now that i'm in bed rest (as per my doctor's advice) and bored out of my mind, i feel like i can finally settle down and answer your questions!!

1. how did Tyler get bit?

he got bit during the summer, specifically on a trip to savannah. okay, so in this AU the location is set to NY bc i really can't imagine spiderman being anywhere else lol, which means this AU is very different from the canonverse.

though the twins were still born in Georgia, they're now studying in NY with full scholarships (to get that 🤑🤑) they still make the effort to visit home every weekend if they can (for their mom)

which brings us back to how Ty got bit.. so during the summer, the twins spent most of their time at home, and on their way back to campus, they went to Savannah on a whim and that's where they came across the weird haunted house and Ty got bit by a radioactive spider.

(i don't really have much thoughts about the details, but the event was very wild for the both of them, hence why the two have a matching 'I survived my trip to Savannah' t-shirt lol)

2. Does Taylor know?

Yes, her sibling intuition was definitely telling her something was up after their weird trip to Savannah, and the more Ty seemed to change and keep away from her, the more she needed to know what was going on.

She finds out eventually, but the cost is very high... (referring to my last spiderman tyler art)

3. What are the others up to?

As of the moment, i've only ever thought about Ashlyn in this AU apart from the twins.

Basically, she's Ty's lab partner.

(i already have a fic i plan on writing for this, but it's not gonna be ready for a while)

Ty is still part of the varsity (for hus scholarship)

Tay is in the mechanics club (she ends up helping Ty with his spiderman suit later on once she finds out about his double life)

I try my bets to write around canon and be as much as possible canon compliant but mischaracterization and misinterpretation is always bound to happen so oh well....

BUT YOU ABSOLUTELY SHOULD! Just for the art and character design alone (which is why i started), it is GORGEOUS and it has such a distinct style that it's not typical furry fare. I can't show you much of the art without major spoilers as the most beautiful pages are later down the line but it is worth getting into just for visuals. Story could depend on your stance on true crime and murder and really heavy topics but it is well written and handled delicately but it's very interestingly told as the series is experienced through the eyes of a serial killer.

Unfortunately the nuance and the layered storytelling is undermined with ppl blanching out the protagonist (even the creator himself :() so do keep that in mind. The pacing is strange! But it's kind of grown on me though but it is noticeable on first read so beware!

BUT YES! YES! YES! DO TELL ME WHEN YOU FINISH IT BECAUSE IT IS BEAUTIFULLY WRITTEN AND MADE!!! I LOVE THIS SERIES AND ITS SUBTEXT AND WHAT IT IS ON ITS OWN AND I'LL SEND U THE PREQUEL WHEN YOU'RE DONE!! AAAHHHH!!!

I have a lot of stories I gave up on because I had too many (20 if I recall right), but the ones I've kept/survived from my middle school story purge were Two Over A Kind, and Shadow Killed. However I have other stories that came after those two after I entered high school such as Mandela's Requiem, Backyard Thursday, Never So Norm, Collidests, and Rose Burnt, (yes I have a lot of stories, but they're not lore heavy so they might seem short/fast)

Although the only official rendition of a comic out right now would be Mandela's Requiem but I want to re-draw it in a different format similar to my ask blog @ask-the-druggieverse and what Homestuck uses because it's easier and I can gather all the images I draw and upload it YouTube for people to read

As for old art? oh geez I have a LOT of old art....

1st: Amari Feng, She's from my given up story called "A Fantasized Beginning", I gave up on this story because I had too many stories and this one just had too much stuff going on (In short: It's basically RWBY and MHA mixed into one, kids go to school to become pro-hero's in outer-space because an evil group known as "the dark entropy" were colonizing/taking over planets and the heros had no idea how they kept doing it, and then BOOM!!! PLOT FUCKING TWIST!!! the number 1 pro-hero was the one conducting the evil groups plans all along and the hero get's stopepd by the MC's, although the colonizing and taking over doesn't stop as more villains pop up and hero's continue being hero's but this time the hero's have a easier time saving everyone) I made this story when I was in middle school along with many others, although after I did my story purge the only two stories that survived were Shadow Killed and Two Over A Kind (TOAK had a massive story overhaul and is not like it's OG plotline) I don't have plans to go back to this story, however I might if I complete all of my stories before I die, which I'm sure I will because I'm shortening a lot of them, and if I do I will DEF shorten AFB by a lot because middle school me planned like 16 something seasons (jesus.) (Also Amari was not the MC but an antagonist that later becomes an MC and was heavily inspired off of Himiko Toga(Can you tell?))

2nd: Heh... My first attempt at lineless art.... This is also back when Blipthyn was blue and was named Blueprint, I do not like TOAK's 5th rendition of a story as I was going through a hard time and heavily trauma dumped the shit out of that specific rendition of TOAK and just scrapped a lot of it, only a few things I liked survived in the current 6th? 7th? version of the story and I plan to keep it that way unless it becomes too long in my eyes

1st: Laim! he's also from another cancelled story called 12-15-22-5, or also known as 12-15-22-5 Project: Life this story was a romance between a resurrected angel heading and a human, the resurrected angel's goal from the company he was revived from was to find a way to break someone's heart/love to the point of dying so that they could kill a god (for some reason?? my middle school self never really specified why) However things backfire as the resurrected Angel falls in love with the love interest (heh... not straight BTW...) and other resurrected angels are sent after him and his friends because it'll "sabotage" their plan, I never planned an ending for this story but I do remember that this story was inspired off of HXH and Four Leaf on webtoon

Deku + Maltipoo

• Maltipoo is a hybrid breed resulting from the mix of a Maltese and a Poodle. And who was born quirkless but got a Quirk transferred? Deku! Which to some extent makes him a hybrid too. Both are highly intelligent and friendly breeds, which suits Izuku very well!

• Izuku radiates Crusty white dog energy, there's no way to deny it, and this breed is part of that group. He has a sweet, caring and friendly personality, but he is also VERY emotional. Cries a lot, he can't help it. Maltipoos also have very fluffy fur, which matches Izuku's green hair.

• This puppy boy was practically protected and pampered by his mom; Inko always brushed his fur after baths! However, just like any other Maltipoo, Izuku adapts easily to any environment and challenge. He also has quite the intelligence and memory, making him the perfect puppy boy for almost any task. Appropriate, considering Izuku is progressively learning to control all his powers and molding himself to the needs of his missions.

• Did I mention Maltipoo puppies befriend practically anyone? *ehem* Just like Izuku befriended [insert list of pretty much any student at U. A]

• Oh, you want to put a doggie collar around his neck? Go ahead! Even when the skin of his cheeks and ears get all red with embarrassment, he loves it. Push a little further, and you'll even be able to hear him whine for attention.

“Are we gonna hang out today?” Izuku asked, tail wagging effusively at the promise of an evening by your side. You smiled apologetically, excusing yourself. “Sorry, Izu, today I have some work left to do. Maybe another day?”

The puppy in front of you pouted, begging with a pleading face. “Please, please, please! I- I brought my favorite All Might DVD,” Izuku said, his hands gently tugging your shirt. Sighing, you gave up; how were you supposed to win against someone that could quite literally pull puppy eyes on you? “Maybe we can binge-watch it while I work.”

Izuku's lips stretched in content, yapping a sweet “Thank you!” as he walked by your side. “We can lay on the couch, and I'll make sure to recap everything you missed while you weren't paying attention!”

Todoroki + Siberian husky

• I had some trouble deciding which of these breeds fitted Shoto more. On one hand, he could be a Doberman like Dabi, after all, they come from the same dad (like it or not). Enji would've cut his ears and tail too to make him more imposing, and dominant-looking (trying to mold him to his image), leading to Rei burning his face and, well, Todoroki trauma. On the other hand, Siberian huskies already have plenty of traits in common with Shoto.

• Siberian huskies have a stern and serious aura around them, specially at first glance. Their deep gaze and icy blue/light gray eyes manage to allure anyone, not to mention is one of the breeds that has more common cases of heterochromia. We all know how Shoto debuted as a “I'm not here to make friends” character but, in the end– just like this breed –Shoto proves to be friendly and silly with the right people.

• He has very soft big furry ears, and a fluffy tail curled upwards; the fur is white and brown/reddish and matches his hair almost too perfectly. Shoto also has massive canines that he tends to bare when he is truly pissed off or stressed.

• Like many huskies, he is smart and has a lot of stamina. You need to keep this particular puppy mentally/physically stimulated by either showing him new tricks (e.g. Simple science experiments or DIY tutorials) or burning that energy (e.g. Teach him how to play Just dance!)

• Sheds, a lot. Help him brush his fur because otherwise you'll be dealing with random dog hairs in your room. Oh, he also has trouble communicating in general! Which is funny considering how Huskies don't bark like normal dogs, they kind of howl and cry.

• Shoto is a very odd puppy, but a great listener if you ever need to talk.

“And you're supposed to put your left hand on a red circle. Like this!” You said, bending and twisting into a rather uncomfortable position over the Twister mat. Shoto had been aching to play with you for a while, begging - in his odd way (which was standing in front of your bed until you noticed him) — to learn. “I see, so the cardboard thing dictates which limb you move and where you put it.” He said, kneeling to your level as you plopped on the mat.

“Yes, exactly! The last one standing is the winner,” Shoto heard you add, nodding at tour words with seriousness. “Just make sure to keep your tail tucked, we don't want another sneezing accident…"

Shoto unconsciously whined, dropping his ears like a scolded puppy. “Sorry, I didn't mean to make everyone fall with my fur.” The first time he had tried to play, his tail and ears tickled everyone's nose, making the complex knot everyone was tangled in collapse. “It's OK, Sho, it happens.” You smiled sympathetically.

Shigaraki + Rottweiler

• It was suggested that Shiggy could be a Corgi by the lovely @shionancientsblog , and while it would be a cute idea (specially when he had one as a kid), I think Shigaraki's evolution as a person makes him fall under the category of a “problematic breed”. Rotties are great family dogs in the right environment, they are friendly, caring, and playful; sadly, we all know this puppy boy didn't have a good family. Shiggy was neglected and abused as a baby, and he eventually bit the hand that was supposed to take care of him! So, like many dogs when they bite, he was cast away and tagged as a danger. A kind puppy turned into a crazed dog by the hand of the wrong handlers.

• He has short floppy ears with black fur, matching his original hair color. The tail is black as well, but it was cut by his father to “avoid accidents”. Shiggy's fur, however, changed in color the same way his hair did.

• Wears a spiked collar, a gift granted by A.F.O to avoid using his quirk on the skin of his neck. He doesn't like it, but knows it's for the best.

• Rottweilers are also known for acting on impulse and being childish (borderline being messy or confused as aggressive) when they have no guidance. Shiggy had the same behavior when he first started his villain life, but with the right training, he learned to focus his energy on a specific target. Trained to bite on command.

• When he gets involved with you, however, you slowly but surely start filling that emotional void he had. It took a lot of trial and error, specially when he growled at you with those large canines of his, but patience turned out to be enough to ease him.

• Much like Dabi, Shiggy grants you scary dog privileges, but he is less controlled about it and will target anyone who may be “trying to take away his owner”. He won't call you owner, by the way, but in his heart you are part of the very reduced group he likes and follows.

“I don't like the way he is looking at you!” Shigaraki growled, unconsciously trying to hide you from Dabi's gaze. The latter had been sending you cocky smirks here and there, pissing Shiggy off. “Calm down, he isn't doing anything,” you assured him, allowing your hand to pat his head. The frown on Tomura's face softened, but he still didn't like the idea of another person laying eyes on you. “What, you like him better?”

You knew that the child inside him was speaking, so you indulged. “No, Shiggy is my favorite.” Tomura heard you say, feeling the warmth of your lips on his cheek. “W-what was that?!" He yelped, “Are you trying to embarrass me?” You shook your head. “Just making sure you know how much I like you”.

I havent sent any asks or comments in a while because I was fully burried by uni but here I am finally🥳 (I should be studing pharmacology at the moment but who wants to do that? Not me🫢)

AWW I HAVE SO MANY THINGS I WANT TO SAY. First everything you write is still amazing. I read everything as soon as I could. So many spectacular stories. Both the search verse and the new fic. I got to the point were I check immediatelly in the morning if you uploaded anything.

The GP and Max relationship is amazing in both and they are both so different but similar at the same time.

Im so excited for the deep dives you plan to do here. I think Im gonna separate my thoughts so its more manageable.

I didnt expect to enjoy fopa as much as I did. I was surprised how interesting and enjoyable their side story was, looking forward to reading more about them.

GP and Max’s relationship is beautiful. Max learning to trust GP and slowly realise that he is not a burden. Admit to himself that GP was the one who raised him and tought him not Jos. Realise that this is how it should be, that parents shoud care and listen to their kids. Aww soo good.

Charles’s and Max’s relationship is amazing as well. To see their teenage selfs (mostly Max) be oblivious while everyone expects them to get together in the future. Loved GP’s comments to his wife about the personal drama

Also I loved the last chapter. Max working through his trauma and telling Charles about it. Beautifully written.

Amazing how you write their relationships different but still very similar. Max is not the same person because he grew up in a loving home with GP but still he is the same in all things that matter.

Loved to dutch accent bit sooooo much. At first I didnt notice that he was speaking and then I went back to realise that the first thing GP heard was the word dad😫😫

Also Max and Charles still being connected by racing even tho Max cant race🤯 Him supporting Charles through is carrier, Charles wanting him on his team in F1 ahhhh so good. Charles immediatly recognising Max when he saw him driving.🥺 The hand massage🫠🤭

writing the Max and GP relationship to be just as meaningful but still different shaped on their experiences has actually been kind of hard, but I'm enjoying the challenge.

Alice knows all the redbull drama. all of it. she remembers it all too, that women is a treasure trove of embarrassing little gems for the entire team. everyone gets scared when she's at a team event because she knows it all.

showing Max a little bit softer in Famiglia has been fun! on the one hand, he's still got some of those concerning mindsets from when he was a kid, but he's much more open about his love and his family than he is in Search History.

the Dutch accent is so funny, because poor Max has been in the UK for like seven years at this point, he signs in BSL, he thinks in british english, but when he speaks he's got a dutch accent still 😭 him and GP keep getting startled by it. (max also keeps not expecting his voice to be as low as it is lmfao)

charles could NOT figure out MP until he saw him in the kart and then he was like -_- "are u fr rn verstappen"

opinion on different ships involving wotbc? (that you know of)

ALL of them?? Deranged ask, muting you on the server for a thousand years, no trial. Jk of course but :O!! I have gotten asks about ships before, plus I did a silly lil ship bingo that I may have to bring back- But just for YOU, joyous one, I will simply summarise and link things! Put it all together!

Starting within the Black Circle itself:

There is no ship combination between them I'm inherently against, I say boldly and bravely. Could probably write for most of them too, even if they're not my absolute favourite, because again, I don't straight up dislike any of them.

Of course I do have my personal top dogs cough cough cough- Like at this point it's no secret I'm a very normal and casual enjoyer of Ogron x Gantlos (gantlogron? ograntlos?? I like gantlogron better ngl). Maybe it's the way I personally enjoy writing Gantlos, but it's just so easy? To make them work?? And if you're not a fan of easy, you can always take the more angsty route and make them. Slightly less equal. They come in multiple flavours!! I think this might be my favourite ship for both of them currently, but I'll elaborate on that in a sec.

Next is my other top dog, Duman x Anagan (DUMANAGAN 🦅🦅). I feel like I've talked about them way more than I actually have?? Maybe it's hidden in reblogs and tags but dang sjsksk, either I should tag better or yap about them more. It's probably gonna be the latter. There's just something about their 'decently normal guy x the HORRORS he keeps inviting everywhere' that does something for me idk, in a platonic way as well. I just really appreciate them as a duo, in whatever dysfunctional form their relationship comes in. Frequently bought together ass couple smh.

About both Gantlos x Anagan (anagantlos? GANAGAN!!!) and Ogron x Anagan (????anagron?) I can be kiiinda brief. Haven't seen a lot of Gantlos x Anagan, but it's fine, why not. Ogron x Anagan is slightly more interesting to me, but maybe that's because I personally enjoy making them clash a bit. Probably still doable though.

Now- Not to slut shame Duman, definitely not during pride month, but this man gets around in a way the others don't and it must be said. Maybe it's his adaptability but DAMN. Ig that's kinda the point of him though. To me. Just the age old question.. Duman is every wizard's favourite, but who's his favourite? Nobody knows. If it's between Ogron x Duman (..dugron?) and Gantlos x Duman (dumantlos) I probably like Ogron x Duman slightly more? They both have angst potential though. Is something I've noticed. Duman gets around but at what cost? Maybe I should just read happier fics.

Actually NO it's Duman's fault there's so much angst around him, that's what he gets for canonically dying and having ties to envy. Dumed Doomed from the start fr.

Moving on to?? There being ships with three of them?? Which is extremely funny to me. Exclusion. Some of these I've only heard about, some I've seen actual content for- Ogron x Anagan x Duman, brought up by someone in the server unironically, Gantlos was NOT invited. Ogron x Gantlos x Anagan, ah yes, sometimes a family is three husbands and the weird pet they found that's their son now. Ogron x Gantlos x Duman was just angst, and Gantlos x Anagan x Duman gives me dumanagan convincing Gantlos to mess around with them vibes I'M SORRY. This is really taking me places.

Y'know you could always just have them all date each other at that point. Affectionately nicknamed 'dumanagantlogron' right here right now. Don't see it a whole lot, but that's probably because it gives you less group dynamic wiggle room. Understandably not for everyone because of that, but there's nothing inherently wrong with it. Me personally, I could be convinced. Be wild be free. Also imagine being at a bar or whatever, one of them comes up to you and goes "Hey, me and my three boyfriends just love your vibe" what do you do where do you go from there bye
