The last chapter was just ... the definition of perfection. Almost cried when Luca touched (ra*ped) him, how could he? when he was like that, and I have to say Tommy's reaction, the way you wrote that was completely aligned with his situation, his life and his character. You are such a talented artist. And Alfie the way he stopped himself, I also like to hear his point of view as well, the way he tried to be logical in that moment, when an angelic gift was in his hand, and he just did the best. And Tommy my God he deserves a love like that. He needs to see that. You and your storytelling are perfect!!!

I'm waiting for the new chapter and deeply want to know what will happen.

I feel like a broken record but I truly can't overstate how much it means to me that people enjoy this fic and take the time to reach out, particularly after a chapter like the last one❤️ That installment was so long and intense that it did leave me feeling somewhat burnt out for lack of a better term. Whenever I get to a part of the story where we get into something particularly dark, there's always a nagging fear that it'll be too much, even if I do write everything with the purpose of serving the narrative and moving the story in the intended direction. So it's incredibly reassuring to get a comment like this and hear that it does come off as I had hoped, as something terrible but still believable.

Tommy absolutely deserves the world ❤️‍🩹 The next chapter will be from Alfie's POV, and in the current version of the draft we do start on that quite fateful evening, so you might get your wish, depending on how things go.

The whole concept here is that something was happening at the moment, be it how they were laying in bed, how the hair pooled over the pillow, or how sokka was able to hold onto it.
