I made a Noelle figure! Thinking of making figures of other deltarune characters like this one. Such as the fun gang! More info on the figure below.

This is my first time making something of this scale, but I think she turned out super cute!

I made this figure out of air dry clay. I started with a tinfoil/wire base to give it more structure. Finally, I painted it with acrylic gouache so it would have a matte finish. Still trying to decide what I want to use to seal it so the paint doesn’t get damaged.

This figure actually turned out bigger than expected. Not sure how I managed that but it looks cool! I had to scrap the original base which was shaped like a snow flake (see below)

This unfortunately was not going to support the figure. So I made a much bigger base that would have two points of contact with the figure. (Much easier to glue down)

Also she is approximately 9 inches or around 23 centimeters. She is just a little taller than this Miku figure!

Okay I JUST realized I never posted these on here—- BUT BASICALLY, about a year and a half ago I started doing these experimental black hairstyle posts that were threads long on Twitter, to give artists a source of inspo for their black ocs whose hair they wanted to try something new with! There’s more to black hair than just the selected styles portrayed in media, and I thought it would be fun to show people how much texture, shape, fades, length, and style can be combined when drawing black hair—-cause it’s a kind of manipulation our hair can do irl! The OG posts were lost with the hacking of my original Twitter account (@/bagels_donuts) but I’ve since reuploaded the whole thread to my new Twitter (@/ItsDonutsFR)! I've updated the designs of nearly everyone because I wasn't happy with the previous ones, sans Jax and normal Pomni (I.... still haven't started on Zooble but I already have a rough concept in mind)

Gangle is STILL giving me a ton of trouble no matter what AU the girlie is in because you can only do so much with a bunch of ribbons and a mask-

Overview of some topics when it comes to drawing characters who are burn survivors.

DISCLAIMER. Please keep in mind that this is an introductory overview for drawing some burn scars and has a lot of generalizations in it, so not every “X is Z” statement will be true for Actual People. I'm calling this introductory because I hope to get people to actually do their own research before drawing disabled & visibly different characters rather than just making stuff up. Think of it as a starting point and take it with a grain of salt (especially if you have a very different art style from mine).

Talking about research and learning... don't make your burn survivor characters evil. Burn survivors are normal people and don't deserve to be constantly portrayed in such a way.
