Nerplex blocked me, here's the bean. Reblogs of blogger who nerplex didn't block
What did I do wrong? Telling you to sauce URL offends you?
Man, I'm gonna be canceled here. I guess this shall be the time we act now. Love you all, gamers, who still with me of course.
Wait!
It, gamers, if you're here, pls don't angry just yet. Actually, the story is funny. Uhh a blogger, nerplex yes, said your name and others, but without sauce URL. Plus that person blocked me and of course no reason given.
Look, I'm trying to save your clout... I mean make you popular! Idk what's the say here, point is, I want to be the good example of how to credit properly, when I am really lazy. Well very easy! As possible, attribute sauce URL! That's it at least.
Again, above picture's not mine, there's your sauce who drew this. You're welcome. You must act too, don't stay there! Spread that sauce to other friends!! I beg you. Artists deserves respect, and thefts (same reuploader but did not sauce URL) deserves.. You got the idea.
Here, my subsidiary are making changes, and they're in the process of spilling the bean. Actually this subsidiary was the outlying connector to one my division, Archive Division. Not to be confused with Archive.org, that's different story.
So from now on, if you see your art reuploaded here (even it's still live on the sauce), pls don't cancel me, I beg you. Look I promise I attach the sauce URL of it. even my own art, all has URLs to source SVG, Blend, etc. We are the company of Sauce, we want gamers to know where did you downloaded this file.
Okay, to disrespectful gamers. You. You block me, you left no choice. I wanted to reblog and that's it. I never wanted to talk to you, unless you asked for it, or whatever neverary. I just commented your post, And tried my best to not offend you in assumption of universal ethic settings as far as I know. If you had it here, we'll it's your fault. I wanted to reblog but [tumblr] says it's gone, and you're not deactivated. Peck you. I can't fathom why did you do that, when you could've only & exclusively block scam spam bots instead. Want to me stop? Just unblock me, and the trouble is over. That's all I want.
I don't know and I cannot know why I'm blocked coz that happens to be the social media common ethics (that's really flawed). So want it or not, blocking, ................ means provocation. Right?.. I.. Won't see why!! HUH?! If I was making social media, I make sure they tell the reason why. Oh, this account is scammer, so I may a look at it to confirm. Oh, I just hate this guy, and I can take a look at it and then... No, not ban. Maybe send that person to class idk. This is just concept, more need to design.
Ok back to you again. Yeah. I'm sorry. I lost all my sanity. Everyday, the world.. derails my mental condition, through this. Idk if they got hacked.. or just.. hate me?
yeah. idk anymore. what do you think?
Huh, Yeah?
isn't queen gambit method may cause trouble to yourself?
.. Who said I'm gonna often post that [tumblr] url here? Well.. perhaps I don't have to, instead. Scroll down. Ctrl + F keyword of "block". You'll see. Okay you may not see it now. Soon. and more soon.
.
That's all for today. I'm sorry if there is mistake or whatever wrong here. Got comment, let us know, idk.

Being resolved

I highly recommend watching Good Omens in another language because we're all obsessed and it's an excuse to rewatch it because hearing it in another language 1) helps you notice things you otherwise wouldn't have, and 2) brings in so much potential for different emotional impacts based on translation choices.
With that in mind, please enjoy some choice highlights from the Japanese dub of Good Omens, Season 1, Episode 5. This post focuses on point #2 — the translation choices that were even more emotionally intense than the original. For point #1, see my companion post on general things I noticed as a result of watching more closely.
The episode picks right up with the bookshop fire, and the Japanese dub opts to go even more directly for the jugular:
English!Crowley: AZIRAPHALE! For God's— For Satan's— AGH, for somebody's sake, where are you?!
Japanese!Crowley: O God— O Satan— AGH, anyone is fine, just save him!!
Aziraphale gives us a similar sucker-punch when Crowley chokes out that he lost his best friend:
English!Aziraphale: So sorry to hear it.
Japanese!Aziraphale: What I did was inexcusable.
The change in Hastur's line after he escaped from the answering machine and ate the humans in the call center really drove home that he ate the humans in the call center:
English!Hastur: I needed that.
Japanese!Hastur: That was delicious.
Inside the burning M25, we find Crowley putting his faith into the book Aziraphale found so important:
English!Crowley: Come on. There must be a way across it.
Japanese!Crowley: I'm counting on you. There must be a way across.
Over in Tadfield, the choice of farewell the Them use to say "Goodbye, Adam" (sayounara) gives a very "goodbye forever" vibe to it as compared to the many more casual options for "goodbye" you'd normally have expected from a bunch of 11-year-olds (ja na, ato ne, etc.).
The montage of Adam's life is also quite touching, as you hear his mother naming him at his birth: "Hello, Adam <3" in English, and "You are Adam" in Japanese — a rather fitting way of saying it in the context of a scene where he's having to decide that he'd rather be Adam than the Adversary.
Over with the four Horsepeople, we find Death using informal grammar, but not in the same way demons do. He doesn't sound like a gangster; he talks with a sense of authority and like he's so done with everyone else being so much younger and more impetuous than he is.
I rather like to picture the translators having had a drinking game for every time they had to translate a joke based around blasphemy, since swear words don't have the same tendency to be religious in Japanese. Still, they managed gamely whenever the plot demanded it. Just look at this masterpiece:
English!Officer: Who the hell are you?! English!Death: I am neither of Hell nor Heaven.
Japanese!Officer: Where did you come from--?! Japanese!Death: Asking where I'm from is the wrong question.
Some lines, admittedly, made me totally crack up with their choice of phrasing:
English!R.P.Tyler: It's probably because your stupid car is on fire!
Japanese!R.P.Tyler: It's probably because your car is on fire like a fool!
That one, however, inspired a shockingly touching 1k fanfic, though, so it holds quite a special place in my heart.

I can't reply on the post and don't want to reblog it again, but I'm not forgetting Daniel. Unfortunately the only thing we see of Daniel pre-deviancy is him saying hello into a video. It doesn't give us any sense of who he is as a person. That clip is about Emma's attachment to him because he's "the coolest android in the world", but all he does is say hello when prompted, with reasonably good cheerful affect. It contrasts sharply with what we see, which is him dangling Emma off the roof, and the game doesn't really go into whether that brief clip was the real Daniel or just an act provided by his programming.
We get a sense of what he wants, and what he values from his actions as a deviant, because apparently just the threat of being torn away from his family and discarded was enough to send him deviant. But the game arguably portrays his deviancy as a bad thing and him as a villain instead of it being a tragedy that he was driven to this desperation. (Mileage may vary on that one based on personal experiences; "you lied to me, Connor" is gut-wrenching, but it's also one possible ending out of all of them, requiring absolute success in manipulation from Connor, and the only ending that hits that way. In the rest of them, he HAS to die for Connor to save Emma so his death feels justified.)
Okay, that's fair, the clip doesn't give us a lot. I was just thinking about how what we learn from his words and actions paints us a picture of how he reached this point. And how he had some really strong personal opinions about his life and place in the world long before deviancy. Otherwise, his reaction wouldn't be this. 100% he's not the first android who got replaced, but he's the first one to get revengeful about.
And, him being a villain? Oh boy, you know me, I fucking love him being a villain. I disagree with him being only a victim in this, which is not to say his story isn't tragic (it is).
But it's his decision to go for a revenge instead of escape. It's his decision to drag Emma (who may not even know about the new android) to the rooftop and use her as a hostage with him being perfectly capable of going through with his threat and fall back dragging Emma down with him. Even though he supposedly loved her, his hatred and resentment is stronger. He thinks she deserves it. Because she (her family) hurt him, and he ain't gonna let that slide. It's not the fear of death that motivates him, not self-defence but pure rage. He took the gun and instead of escaping with it he goes straight to the person who wronged him and kills him when he isn't expecting.
And his rage and hatred extrapolates far beyond Philips family.
He objects to Connor helping a human that has nothing to do with Philips family and pose no threat to him anymore, so it's just a question of whether his life (one more to the list) will end as result of Daniel's actions. Daniel later says that he didn't want to hurt anybody, and yet here, when he has a chance for making his actions less murderous for the outsiders, he objects.
"All humans die eventually. What difference does it make if this one dies now?"
Ah, what a line! Compare it with Traci's words about how she only killed out of fear of being next.
When Connor pushes Emma away, what does he do? Once again, he chooses revenge, but this time aimed at Connor. Not even a human, but just another android doing his job.
Daniel story is tragic, but his actions, even though done in panic and shock are still his actions that he chose himself. And I think we should let him own them. He attacked first. When he was cornered he made sure to drag others with him.
Sorry, I dwelled away from original topic. Revengeful Danial is just my fave, and I prefer his actions to be viewed as his own choices and not something universal any deviant in his place would do.

OKAY I talk too much for the post comment character limit so bringing it back to your inbox: GOSH see so since you mentioned this, it is something SO INTERESTING TO ME that I think about every time I am thinking of this fic (so hearing you say that is lighting up every neuron in my brain atm. I could literally discuss this fic for years, I have so many questions and SO MUCH INTEREST) but re: the Ryou genuinely not caring thing. Is his not caring about it a lack of self-worth or at least what he thinks of as a lack of entitlement? Is he able to comfort/distance himself from it a bit bc tho he remembers it at his own experience, he knows rationally that it wasn't he - Ryou - who had made that choice because he literally didn't exist yet? It was Shiro, and he just got implanted with the experiences of another man? Or does it actually make it even harder on him, because he doesn't feel entitled to struggle with these awful memories because they aren't really "his"? Or is it a combination of both? One of the things that I find so fascinating about any Shiro and Kuro story that is and could have been is this struggle. Part of me feels like it would be so easy for them to hate each other, with so much Shiro self-loathing to go around, but equally easy to sympathize with each other because of how empathetic and generally nice guy he and they are. My Shiro stan heart forever ruminating on this. You have another fic that sticks with me a lot, where the Ryou verse boys meet the canon boys post S6, and they get so angry at everyone for letting Kuro die to save Shiro like he didn't matter, and I can't remember the exact quote, but someone questioning whether Kuro still is alive in Shiro or if Shiro just has his memories, and Shiro (exhausted and untethered and raw and recently back from an eternity alone, practical to a fault canon!Shiro) being like "Is there a difference?" and no one could say anything.
Ahem, sorry for rambling, your Shiro fic is forever among some of my favorite stuff in the fandom, I could fawn over it and discuss it for days.
Okay, so first of all: thank you SO MUCH for a chance to talk about my favorite thing to explain, which is Ryou Shirogane, my boy, my scrungly creature, my actual son.
Okay, so, Ryou's lack of caring on the subject of what Shiro did in the arena. Under the cut b/c this is long
So, Ryou remembers all of it perfectly. Better than perfectly, even. The memories were implanted into his brain through the nervous system connection in his arm. They're permanently etched.
But Ryou has a few advantages here. First and foremost is that Ryou did a lot of work in his own head to separate him from Shiro. A big part of that was the acceptance that the Black Lion was never going to accept him. He was never and would never be the team's leader - or, at that point, he didn't even think he could be a paladin.
That was a blow, because being Black Paladin was what Shiro used to separate himself from what he'd done in the arena. He's a good guy, he fights the very obviously evil bad guys who do evil bad guy things, the lion of being Responsible and Leaderly thinks he's worthy.
Ryou is not.
So at that point, Ryou said 'fuck it, if I'm not the leader, if I'm not a paladin, why hold myself to these ridiculous standards of perfection that Shiro expects of himself?' And he cut it out. He essentially literally took a hack job to his own personality. Fuck it. If he can't be a leader, he won't act leaderly. He won't care about the big picture, only about his people. The universe is full of terrible shit and pain and disappointments, but he has a family and he's going to protect them.
THAT is the start of the Yellow Paladin personality, actually: These are my people they are mine and no one can hurt them, because that's all I have in the universe. No role, no greater purpose, because I wholeheartedly reject the thing I was literally made to do.
From there, Ryou and Shiro did not expect to like each other. And honestly, my goal wasn't even to make them! Just to get Shiro comfortable enough with Ryou's existence to keep them from being at each other's throats. Because it IS easy for Shiro to hate Ryou. He's a physical manifestation of how he was abused by the Galra, and he represents everything Shiro tries to hide about himself: the damage, the parts that aren't nice, aren't leaderly, aren't buttoned up and perfect.
Except Ryou refused to feel the same way. He looked at Shiro and went 'literally no one understands you like I do, and I don't give a shit about your posturing. You're suffering. I remember how you're suffering. You need help. I am going to help you.'
And thus, Shiro became one of Ryou's People. It's only later that Shiro met him at that same place.
But that's why Ryou doesn't care. Because it's sad that the kid died, but it's not actually Shiro's fault. He knows how Shiro feels, he knows why Shiro feels that way, but he can also see him from the outside. And Ryou doesn't care because Shiro is more important. That kid would have died no matter what. Shiro was being abused and starved. He survived. Nothing else matters to Ryou. Shiro could slaughter whoever he wanted if it meant he came home.
Ryou loves Shiro.
Ryou protects Shiro.
That's all that matters to him, at the end of the day.
#Ryou is cracked in so many ways that aren't immediately obvious because he makes jokey jokes and smiles and puts on a lil jester hat#I love him for it#BT Memes#DLS verse#Don't Let's Start Verse#Don't remember which is my tag lol#I am also glad that you love Two Street b/c I LOVE that one

Second Chances - Faceclaims
@noesapphic asked me to share my fancast for my series Second Chances (a Modern Desire and Decorum AU), so I'm sharing the ones I have (I do not have one for every character and for some of them I have two or more faceclaims I draw inspiration from and use on the social media edits).
Since it will be a long post, there will be more after the cut, and a little explanation about my choices. Click the images for better resolution.
I'm starting with the main character Elizabeth and her romantic interest, sorry, I mean, her friend Hamid.
Before I started writing Second Chances, I knew Débora Nascimento, a Brazilian actress, would be the faceclaim for the OC Elizabeth. She's got the right hair, the bright expressive eyes and her acting inspired me for this character.
Hamid, on the other hand, was a tough choice. I had other faceclaims before, but since @princess-geek suggested Şükrü Özyıldız, I've found my perfect Hamid. This Turkish actor has got all the perfect smiles, nice hair and watching the him playing different parts has given me a lot of inspiration to write Hamid.
For Ernest Sinclaire, I'm going with @princess-geek's choice. I considered Tom Hughes (and got pictures of him in my Pinterest folder) because of the hair and sideburns, and I keep hearing Sinclaire speaking with Collin Firth's voice, but this time I'm going with James Norton. He's got the hair and is the one who reminds me the most of him.
For Annabelle Parsons, I have different faceclaims, but my favorites are Ella Balinska and Naomi Scott, the first matches the height and how strong and vibrant a woman Miss Parsons is, while the second also reminds me of her because of her looks and the fashionable way she dresses which matches my headcanons for Annabelle in the modern AU (and maybe her performance in Aladdin helped just a little).
I also had other faceclaims for Luke Harper, but Ronald Epps just has the perfect smile and energy and there's no one else ever since I've found his picture while browsing Pinterest last year. He's the perfect Luke Harper for Second Chances.
Briar Daly is also another character I have multiple faceclaims for. For social media because of the bangs and the sexy selfies, I sometimes use Cindy Kimberly as suggested by @noesapphic (even though she's not British), but my favorites are the Indian actress Banita Sandhu (we never got Briar's backstory, but her mother's name gives us a hint of their possible ancestors) and Jameela Jamil just inspires me for writing because of her energy and humor (she's my older version of Briar).
And finally, Chambers and Konevi. Mathew Lewis just gives me the right energy, even though they do not look alike, and Barış Arduç is such a handsome Turkish actor, and has the perfect smile for Yusuf, and I've picked him ages ago. And I think they'd look awkward and awfully cute together.
That's the cast for now.
---------------------------
I must say I'm not very good at picking faceclaims for the side characters, and I'm truly undecided (and even to do this list I have changed more than once the ones I've picked) and for some I never found a perfect faceclaim.
For instance, I never found the perfect Edmund Marlcaster, though I do have a picture of a model from a 90s' advertising from glasses saved on his Pinterest folder. And for the others I have just random inspiration, like sometimes BIll Nighy just vibes with Professor Richards... sometimes he doesn't (and I find it hard to associate the actors I like to characters I dislike lol).

Fun challenge for you based on your recent tags: Explain to me, someone who has never watched a single episode of the 100, why you ship Bellarke? I am curious, and I'm hoping this is entertaining for you to do lol
Oh gosh ok you asked for it, the flood gates have been opened. Sorry this took so long to answer but I wanted to explain it in the best way I could (or at least try to). I’m going to do a short version and a long version so people don’t have to read my entire explanation lol. Also I’m only going over the plot as it relates to their story, so there will probably be some holes.
Clarke Griffin and Bellamy Blake are soulmates, plain and simple as that. The growth that they have had since the first season till now has been a long and winding road. They were enemies then became co leaders then best friends and now are (hopefully) on track to admitting that they love each other. The amount of parallels the show draws between them is insane and they both have such a profound understanding of each other due to their shared leadership role and constantly being the person that the other one goes to when they need someone to comfort them. Time and time again they choose each other, even during some of the most difficult decisions they will ever have to make. Their growth almost always comes back to how they influence each other to try and be better people. Canonically, they make better decisions when they are together: The Head and the Heart. They cannot exist as their full selves without each other in their lives because their lives have become so intertwined with each other that they are fundamentally different people when they’re apart. No matter how often they’re apart, they always find a way back to each other. And if nothing else, the gazes and longing hugs that they give each other just oozes love and understanding.
Ok that was the short version. Here’s the Long Version🤪
Ok so Bellamy and Clarke definitely did not start off this way. From the very first episode they are at each other’s throats. Clarke is trying to be the practical leader to get these kids to survive while Bellamy is the dynamic leader inspiring these kids to “do whatever the hell they want”. They don’t see eye to eye and Bellamy even says he’s willing to cut off Clarke’s hand to get what he wants. This doesn’t change until 1x03 when Bellamy sees Clarke mercy kill Atom, another kid on Earth.
This girl, who he thought was a pampered princess, was able to make this tough decision while he couldn’t. After that they begrudgingly try and coexist together. Then “Day Trip” happens and Bellamy and Clarke go off on their own and almost die by a rogue delinquent. They kill him and while they’re recuperating Bellamy wants to run away from all the hardships and mistakes that he’s made. Instead of holding it against him, Clarke gives him forgiveness (“if you want forgiveness, I’ll give it to you ok, fine you’re forgiven”)
For the first time they are truly vulnerable with each other and make their first decision to lead together. This is the turning point. From then on they co lead together, sharing the burden and responsibilities of leadership and being the person that the other depends on. They don’t always get along but they learn to rely on each other. The season ends with them separated at the end of their first big battle. Clarke closes the drop ship door to save her people from the enemy and she thinks he didn’t survive the blast outside
S2
Bellamy and Clarke are separated (a common occurrence that you will soon find out) Clarke is trapped in Mt. Weather and although the rest of her people are comfortable there, she is determined to get out and find out if the rest of her people -cough cough Bellamy- are alive. Bellamy likewise also starts to look for Clarke. Angst and drama ensues, but the important part is that we get our first ever Bellarke hug and man is it a good one (and an absolute fan favorite)
Like Bellamy is so stunned by the way she RUNS and wraps her arms around him and slowly after the shock hugs her back. But this hug cements just how important they’ve become to each other. From here on out they protect each other. Bellamy saves Clarke from being poisoned, he volunteers to go into Mount Weather and Clarke (originally) violently opposes it saying that “She can’t lose him to” in reference to losing the boy she loved, among other things (imo this is when Bellamy starts to develop real feelings for Clarke). Finally towards the end of the season when they face off against the “big baddie” they have to make the choice to kill hundreds of innocent people among the guilty to save their own people. An impossible choice, and Clarke being the self sacrificial puppy that she is wants to “bear it so they don’t have to”. But Bellamy won’t let her do that, they’re going to share that heavy burden. And they pull the lever together
So they return home, people rescued and the guilt hanging high above their heads. But for Clarke the guilt is too much to bear and she tells Bellamy that she has to leave. And Bellamy BEGS her to stay, even repeating that same line that she said to him in the beginning of the show. However, she leaves him and her people behind, which would lead them both down a path of hurt.
S3
And hurt they do. Clarke leaving didn’t fill the hole of guilt in her heart, and Bellamy was left to (try lol) and heal his broken heart on his own. I will also say that both Clarke/Bellamy get their own significant other with Lexa/Gina respectively and this is because (imo) they both go down paths where the other is not in the picture I’m so certain that if they stayed togehter, they would’ve been together and that’s why they’re always separated. But then for the first time in the 3 months since she left, Bellamy finds Clarke, while she’s being taken captive and literally DROPS EVERYTHING to rescue her. When he finds her it is the most tender thing.
This is soon interrupted when Roan (her captor) comes back and Clarke BEGS him to save his life, saying “I’ll do anything. I’ll stop fighting just please don’t hurt him.” Bellamy gets stabbed in the leg and and Clarke and Roan get away. Unlike a normal person, Bellamy Blake is hopelessly in love and devoted to Clarke so he STILL TRIED TO GO AFTER HER WITH A HOLE IN HIS LEG AND WE GET THIS BEAUTIFUL SCENE RIGHT HERE
Cut back a little while later Clarke is safe in Polis with Lexa, trying to unify their two clans and Bellamy finds her again. He tells her to come back to Arkadia (their home) but she says she needs to be here (in Polis). This breaks his heart and is what sets him literally down a VERY DARK PATH of murder to try and justify a war (complicated stuff, what matter is he fucks up). Clarke eventually does come back to Arkadia only to find a very angry and heartbroken Bellamy who tries to justify his actions (You Left Me). They have a very Bellarke™ talk full of emotion and love.
And just when you think everything is going to be alright, he handcuffs her to a chair lol. And they spend a good chunk of the season apart.
When the going gets tough however, they know that they need each other. And after episodes of not speaking to each other they have another one of their Bellarke™ talks and hugs where Bellamy says “I was so mad at you for leaving. I don’t want to feel that way anymore” And then they hug like this, like c’monnnnnnn platonic my ass.
I’m going to speed up for the sake of getting to more stuff. But they end season 3 as they always do, fighting the evil together. Other highlights include Clarke’s (brainwashed) mom using Bellamy as her 1st choice to sacrifice in front of Clarke. There’s also a cute hand holding scene hgngnghngg
For all the angst however, this is the first season when other people call them out on their feelings (mainly Bellamy’s tho) for each other well Octavia already called him out during the first hug but that doesn’t count because She knows him too well. His other friends call him out for not being devoted to his old girlfriend Gina (who died) and Murphy comparing his feeling for Emori (his CANON love interest) to Clarke.
S4
Ok, I know a lot of this post has been focused on Bellamy’s feelings and that’s mostly because Clarke has had a love interest in every season so she hasn’t had time to recognize her own feelings. However during s4, we get to see the extent of just how much Clarke means to Bellamy as well. There are a lot of moments in this season so I’m just going to try and focus on the big ones/my faves.
(This isn’t super important, but in the 1st episode of s4, Clarke is still grieving her gf Lexa who died and IMMEDIATELY AFTER, we get a cut to Bellamy like way to be subtle guys. no platonic explanation for this edit)
Ok basically what you need to know about s4 is that the world is going to end by a nuclear radiation cloud thingy called Praimfaiya and it’s up to Bellarke (along with some other peeps lol) to save everyone from it. So one of the things Clarke has to do is write a list of 100 people to choose for a potential bunker. So of course Clarke puts Bellamy on spot 99 but can’t bring herself to write her own name. So Bellamy who is sleeping on the couch wakes up because his Clarke is sad sirens are going off to tell her to put her name down. (If I’m on that list, you’re on that list) Still she can’t do it sO BELLAMY DOES IT FOR HER (because this boy needs her to be with him). and then he puts his hand on her AND SHE LAYS HER HEAD ON HIS HAND....so tender.
Ok so a few episodes later Bellamy (and Kane) get held hostage and Clarke has to sacrifice part of a large shelter that they need to escape Praimfaiya for them, it’s a tough decision but one that Clarke obviously makes. (Literally the only reason Bellamy was even taken was because Roan knew how much he meant to specifically Clarke). I can’t find a gif, but trust me it’s worrisome
Ok god next episode is when we start getting into that high stakes shit (THAT I LOVE). So basically Clarke and Bellamy are going to be separated AGAIN and right before he leaves Bellamy says this
LIKE IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO ARGUE THAT HE WAS NOT ABOUT TO CONFESS HIS LOVE TO HER LIKE CMON PEOPLE LOOK AT EVERY TROPE OF THIS EVER. Clarke of course was like “No, we will see each other again” but uhufhdjejdwkndwk he was going to say “I love you” in my book
Ok now towards the end of the season, most everyone in Skaikru is in this Bunker except for Octavia and most of the grounders (people on earth who survived the original radiation). I can’t believe I haven’t mentioned this yet but Octavia is Bellamy’s younger sister and throughout the show he has sacrificed so so much for her and risked a lot of things to keep her safe. So now when Bellamy learns that Octavia is alive and outside the bunker he rushes to open the door for her. But here’s the catch: if they open the hatch, there’s a chance the radiation is bad and everyone in the bunker (THE HUMAN RACE) would die. However, because Bellamy needs to save his sister he’s willing to take that risk. For Clarke, that isn’t though and POINTS A GUN at him. But Bellamy says if she shoots she’s “going to have to make it a kill shot”. AND SHE CAN’T BRING HERSELF TO SHOOT HIM. CLARKE CANNOT KILL BELLAMY EVEN IF IT MEANT SAVING THE HUMAN RACE. Of course it was fine but still man c’mon.
And then later in order to try and lighten the mood, when they’re trying to drive the rover, Bellamy makes Clarke laugh and IS SO DISTRACTED BY HER SMILE HE CRASHES THE CAR. ok moving on
OK HERE IS THE BIG LEAGUE MY FAVORITE BELLARKE SCENE IN THE SERIES. So Bellamy and Clarke have this big heart to heart cause Clarke thinks she’s gonna die and it is the softest scene ever. So Clarke, thinking she’s going to die says “You’ve got such a big heart Bellamy. People follow you, you inspire them because of this (his heart). But the only way we’re gonna make sure we survive is if you use this too (his head aka what Clarke represents in their relationship” AND TO THAT RESPONDS “I got you for that” IN THE MOST TENDER WAY LIKE THEY’RE SO IN LOVE. And also they have one of the best bellarke hugs of the show.
So Bellarke and like 6 of their friends head off to the space station to avoid the death wave. However, the satellite that allows them to get in isn’t working, so Clarke sacrifices her self to go and fix it while the rest of her friends can go to space. Bellamy makes the HEARTWRENCHING DECISION to leave her behind in order to save the rest of his friends from the death wave. So Spacekrew go up to the station to wait 6 years until Earth becomes habitable while Bellamy grieves Clarke’s death.
Except she’s not dead
Clarke has special blood called “nightblood” that made her immune to the radiation. She spends the next six years on the only available plot of green land left with her adoptive daughter Madi (who has nightblood and she found when she survived the radiation.) So for the next 6 years CLARKE CALLS BELLAMY ON THIS RADIO EVERY DAY. This radio doesn’t even work, but Clarke calls him anyways to keep her sane and (imo) this is when I truly think Clarke realizes the depth of her feelings for Bellamy, because I for sure wouldn’t call my platonic buddy EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. for 6 years (THATS 2199 DAYS) like c’mon
S5
Ok so 6 years have passed, and Clarke is waiting for Bellamy + Co (Spacekru) to come back to Earth. But before Spacekru comes back, another ship lands on Earth full of escaped prisoners who have been cryogenically frozen for the past like 150 years. So basically they come to Earth, capture Clarke and hold her hostage, while Madi (her adoptive daughter) escapes.
Literally a little while later Spacekru finds their way back to Earth and stumble upon Madi who tells them Clarke is alive, much to all of their shock but ESPECIALLY Bellamy (cause ya know the love of his life is back from the dead). So he goes to find and rescue her his wife from the prisoners. When he finds her they threaten to shoot him on sight, but he has leverage. He can send a signal back to the spaceship so, he trades 283 lives in order to save Clarke because of course he does.
Bellamy and Clarke finally have their moment to reunite 6 years in the making and it’s as soft and sweet as you could ever expect it to be and they have another one of their classic Bellarke™ hugs.
Ok so happy ending now for them right? They’re finally back together !!! Well NOPE because after Bellamy was done grieving Clarke he got himself a girlfriend :))))))) named Echo (context Echo was an assassin/spy the “bad guys” until end of s4, then she went up to space w/ them) but Bellamys whole schtick is forgiveness, which he learnt from Clarke COUGH COUGH . Anyways when Clarke sees them making out for the first time she is let’s just say ~taken aback~
and the second time she sees them she looks straight up heartbroken !!!
Now that Clarke has finally realized her feelings for Bellamy he’s with another girl :///// But Clarke still holds a very dear position in Bellamy’s heart and we see that when he confronts his sister. Remember Octavia? The sister who he would do anything for??? Well now she’s kinda lost her marbles and became an evil dictator when she was leading everyone in the bunker. So now due to ~plot~ Octavia wants Clarke dead. Bellamy CANNOT have this happen. I mean he just got her back !!! And he pleads for Octavia to save her life and Octavia says this
HIS SISTER WHO KNOWS HIM BEST (well besides Clarke lmao) CALLED HIM OUT ON HIS FEELINGS. And the best part is that Bellamy doesn’t even try to deny it. Then he says “I can’t let you kill Clarke , O” AND PROCEEDS TO POISON HIS SISTER. THE ONE WHO HE HAS RISKED HIS LIFE FOR LIKE FOREVER (she doesn’t die tho) Bellamy choses Clarke over her without hesitation, and that has come a long way my friends.
Ok while, we’re riding this high it gets kinda worse. So, remember Clarke’s adoptive daughter Madi? Well now Spacekrew wants to put this thing called the flame (ok sorry I glossed over it before but it’s really important to the show, I just hate it !) which all previous leaders of the grounder people had, in Madi’s head because she’s the ~destined~ leader (it’s confusing I know just roll with it). Clarke is like fuck no because she also hates the flame (queen) and doesn’t want Madi to become a leader and carry that burden. So Bellamy locks Clarke up to get to Madi, but then Clarke grabs Madi and leaves Bellamy to die in Octavia’s apocalyptic fighting pit to fend for his life.
Not looking great right? Bear with me for a moment lol. So flash forward to the end of the season and one of the prisoner dudes accidentally sets off a bomb that’s going to destroy the one green valley that was left. Bellamy is pissed at Clarke for leaving him to die, but Clarke was only trying to save Madi but doesn’t know how to fix this. Then Madi (our mini bellarke shipper) tells Bellamy how important she is to him. Like this girl probably watched her make these calls every morning, SHE KNOWS
And just like that Bellamy cannot be mad at Clarke anymore, because he realizes the bond and isolation and dare I say LOVE she must have for him to do that. So they all make it back up to space as Earth explodes for the 2nd time (RIP). So remember that prision ship with cryogenic pods? Yea so now basically everyone who is on Earth is going to rest in these pods until Earth heals itself. Except it doesn’t (at least not in the 10 years they had hoped for). So two of Bellarke’s friends and couple named Monty and Harper stay awake and spend their remaining years finding another planet to live on. And when they find one 125 years later guess who they picked to wake up first. You guessed it, the co leaders themselves Bellarke. So they have a tender moment watching the sun rise over this new planet
S6
Ok this is the last season before we’re caught up but my god it’s a big one for Bellarke. Ok so the season starts off on this new planet and everyone is distrustful of Clarke for what she did on Earth to protect her daughter and make ONE personal sacrifice when she sacrifices everything for everyone all the time god Anyways, on this new planet due to this like “red sun” they hallucinate on the surface and Bellamy says to Clarke “I don’t need you anymore Clarke”(remember this it’s important). After the red sun fiasco, the actual residents of the planet show up (they were descended from an earthship that came there like 250~ years ago).
(I can’t believe I almost forgot to put this but Bellamy tells Clarke about the radio calls before they hallucinate and it’s such a whole some scene and helps to bridge the gap between them once more)
So the people show Bellarke + crew their customs which includes a ceremony where they repent and let go of their past mistakes. Clarke uses this to apologize to Bellamy for her actions as she declares to him “Hey, you’re my family too. I lost sight of that. But I promise I will never forget it again” like boyo that scene brings me to tears like fuck !!! and then once again they have a classic Bellarke™ hug and god it’s a GOOD one.
So yay, they’re on good terms !! That means something bad is about to happen again per usual. So it turns out the leaders of this group of people have been alive for 100s of years using these “mind drives” to back their consciousness up and put into new bodies when their current body dies (fun!). And take a guess as to who has the special blood and can be a new host :))))))))))
Clarke gets stolen and *dies* so Josephine can take over her body. While Josie!Clarke fools everyone for like an episode, guess who is the first to think ‘hey that’s not really Clarke’ ofc our boy Bellamy. AND THEN THEY GIVE BELLAMY AN ENTIRE EPISODE TO GRIEVE CLARKE LIKE HE IS THE ONLY ONE WHO LOOKS THIS SAD THROUGHOUT THE EPISODE. way to be subtle JR
But then guess what !!! Clarke isn’t dead. She’s trapped in her own mind, but very alive. And you’ll never guess how Bellamy finds out. Josie!Clarke taps her fingers on her legs and Bellamy interprets it as morse code that translate into “ALIVE”. LIKE IMAGINE TRYING TO EXPLAIN TO SOMEONE THAT YOUR SUPPOSED DEAD WIFE BESTIE IS STILL ALIVE CAUSE SHE SENT YOU MORSE CODE, LIKE MY BOY I KNOW YOU LOVE HER BUT THAT’S QUITE A STRETCH.
Anyways, this sends Bellamy into overdrive mode, because goddamn it he is not losing her a 3rd time. Throughout the next episodes we see Bellamy prioritize Clarke over everyone, including his girlfriend Echo when she is in danger. He risks himself and even the lives of others to try and save Clarke to get Josie out of her head. And it all culminates to this masterpiece of a Bellarke scene.
Clarke’s heart stops and she won’t get up and Bellamy arguably becomes the most desperate he has ever been. He whispers, “the head and the heart” before LITERALLY BECOMING HER HEART AND PERFORMING CPR ON HER AND BANGING ON HER CHEST TO GET HER TO WAKE UP (HOW MUCH FURTHER CAN THEY TAKE THIS METAPHOR). Even when Octavia gives up, Bellamy yells at her that she’s not dead. “I need you” the first time he has openly admitted that he PERSONALLY needs her in his life. “You’re a fighter Clarke now get up and fight”. Clarke literally (in her mindspace) finds the will to get up and fight by hearing Bellamy’s voice. And like a miracle she wakes up and AN ICONIC AND BEAUTIFUL Bellarke™ hug occurs, even though it looked like she was literally about to kiss him !!!!!! Like tell me these aren’t heart eyes ?!!??!
So then for the rest of the few episodes Bellamy is still super protective of Clarke but they have to split up again because ~plot~. BUT WE HAVE ONE MORE GREAT HURT/COMFORT BELLARKE MOMENT IN THE FINALE. Clarke’s mother had just died, and who does she seek in a crowd for comfort: Bellamy...hopefully you know this by now. God they give each other such meaningful looks in this last scene and have another once again iconic Bellarke™ hug, but it’s a hug where they run into each other like from s2 !!!!! parallels
So they end s6 closer than ever and now we’re all caught up in the present to s7 and lemme be honest besides 7x11, it’s been a HORRIBLE bellarke season, but last episode has had things shake up finally god. So basically everyone assumed Bellamy was dead (including Clarke!!!), but *surprise surprise* he’s alive, but as they soon find out he’s been brainwashed by an evil cult. NOW IT’S CLARKE’S TURN TO SAVE HIM BY BEING HIS HEAD LIKE HE WAS HER HEART LAST SEASON (or I at least hope so). As of writing this post, Bellarke isn’t canon but I’ve been watching this show for 5 years and these two have such a hold on my heart it’s embarrassing, but I hope this explained to you why I and many others will be ridiculously obsessed when it comes to them hehe. Pray for us to be canon, we only have 5 eps left for this beautiful story to come to a conclusion.

Jess is the Gay Subtext Gilmores Gay Meta
Jess within the Gilmores Gay subtext is Rory’s mirror. He has a lot in common with Rory: a negligent father who left, a mother who relies emotionally on him or isn't able to deal with her trauma and can't express love in an entirely healthy way, who are both into reading as an escape and a career path, both of there parents get remarried and have another kid and there are also legally cousins. He's also gay in the subtext(link at the bottom for my mini post on that.)
I’m gonna talk about episode 6.8. In which Rory and Jess talk and he essentially awakens something in Rory that brings back a part of herself that she lost. He also meets Logan but that for later on.
In the scene Jess and Rory talk after not seeing each other for awhile:
JESS: Yeah, and I didn't think you'd believe it if I didn't show it to you in person. (takes out a book and give it to her)
RORY: Well, colour me curious. A book. (reading the cover) "'The Subsect'...written by Jess Mariano."
JESS: It's no misprint.
RORY: You wrote a book?
JESS: A short novel.
RORY: You wrote a book?!
JESS: And through a fluke, I got it to these guys that have a small press, and they read it. I don't know if they were high or something, but they decided to publish it.
RORY: You wrote a book.
Subsect sounds a lot like subtext huh? By this time in the show he's already kind of admitted he's gay.(ill put a link at the end of this for that) So he does reflect her.
But then he goes to leave and lo and behold they run into Logan. We already know that Logan is gay given other things(link down at the bottom) So we know all the people in this scene are gay so put that into context makes this make sense. I’m gonna link the clip here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QnTsSPKyzG0. Logan and Jess to put it plainly are eye fucking and Rory looks very umcomfortable:
RORY: No. Hey. When did you get back?
LOGAN: Couple hours ago.
RORY: Oh, I...I thought you were getting back tomorrow.
LOGAN: I thought I'd surprise you, Ace.
RORY: Well, I'm glad you did 'cause you get to meet my old friend, Jess. This is Logan, my boyfriend. Logan, this is Jess. He's in from out of town. (uncomfortable silence) Wow. That sounded so grown-up. We're at the age now where we say things like "in from out of town" and "old friend", 'cause when you're young, all your friends are new, and you have to get old to have old friends. (uncomfortable chuckling from Rory. Logan extends his hand to Jess)
LOGAN: How you doing? (they shake)
JESS: Okay.
RORY: We were just gonna go grab a bite to eat.
LOGAN: Great. Well, how about if we all go together. Is that okay?
JESS: Okay by me.
LOGAN: Good
RORY: All right. Good. We were actually at a loss for where to go, so you actually saved us.
LOGAN: Call me superman. (at Jess) Why don't you follow us.
JESS: Sure. (Logan puts his arm around Rory's shoulders and stears her to the passenger side of his car. Rory is a bit uncomfortable with the gesture)
Two things to note, Rory refers to jess as her friend, and Rory is in the script said to be uncomfortable. Which confirms my earlier theory.
They got to dinner and this shit gets gayer:
GAN: So...what do you do, Jess?
JESS: Oh, this and that.
LOGAN: Describe the "this". Describe the "that".
RORY: He writes.
LOGAN: You write? Impressive. What do you write?
JESS: Nothing important.
RORY: He wrote a book.
LOGAN: Oh, you penned the great American novel, Jess?
JESS: Wasn't quite that ambitious.
LOGAN: So, what are we talking here? Short novel? Kafka length or longer? Dos Passos, Tolstoy? Or longer? Robert Musil? Proust? I'm not throwing you with these names, am I?
JESS: You seem very obsessed with length.
LOGAN: I'm just trying to get a picture in my head, that's all.
RORY: It's a short novel.
The use of length is homoerotic. Despite Logan being classist Jess is still flirting with him.
More:
LOGAN: (at Rory) Any good?
RORY: I haven't read it yet.
LOGAN: Yet? Well, at least you'll have one reader. That's something.
JESS: Yeah.
LOGAN: You know, I should just write down all my random thoughts and stuff that happens to me and conversations I have and just add a bunch of "he said, she said"-'s, and get it published. You got a copy on you?
JESS: No.
LOGAN: You should send me a copy.
JESS: Sure. And where do I send it? The blond dick at Yale?
Ok so again the use of dick is very homoerotic.
Jess is upset of course:
RORY: Jess, wait. (he stops and turns to look at her) Jess, I'm sorry.
JESS: We shouldn't have done this.
RORY: He's just in a bad way lately.
JESS: He's a jerk.
RORY: He was. In there, definitely. I'm so sorry.
JESS: I read that guy the second I saw him. I should have begged off.
RORY: Well, I didn't want you to.
So he read him, implies that Jess know Logan’s gay. He’s figured him out sexuality wise.
Theres more:
JESS: No, no. I mean with you. What's going on with you?
RORY: What do you mean?
JESS: You know what I mean. I know you better than anyone. This isn't you.
RORY: I don't know.
JESS: What are you doing? Living at your grandparents' place, being in the DAR, no Yale...why did you drop out of Yale?!
RORY: It's complicated.
JESS: It's not! It's not complicated.
RORY: You don't know.
JESS: This isn't you. This, you going out with this jerk, with the Porsche. We made fun of guys like this.
RORY: You caught him on a bad night.
JESS: This isn't about him. Okay, screw him. What's going on with you? This isn't you, Rory. You know it isn't. What's going on?
RORY: I don't know. I don't know.
So Jess being her mirror is acknowledged when he says he's knows her better than anyone.
Jess leaves and Rory and Logan fight:
LOGAN: Look, I'm sorry I came back early. I really messed things up here.
RORY: Jess wrote a book. He wrote a book, and you mocked him.
LOGAN: I did not mock him.
RORY: He's doing something.
LOGAN: Good. Fine. He's doing something. Everybody in the world's doing something. More power to him.
RORY: I'm not. I mean, what am I doing? I'm living with my grandparents.
LOGAN: That's temporary. Have a drink.
RORY: Temporary can turn into forever.
LOGAN: You're not living with the Gilmore’s forever.
RORY: I'm palling with my grandmother and being waited on by a maid. I come home, and my shoes are magically shined. My clothes are magically clean, ironed, and laid out. My bed is magically turned down. I'm in the DAR? I'm going to meetings and teas and cocktail parties?
Rory is having realization about her life because of what jess said to her. The fights not over yet:
LOGAN: Again, temporary. Have a drink.
RORY: And wasting my time partying and drinking, just hanging out doing nothing.
LOGAN: Whoa, whoa, whoa. (he gets up) Don't pull me into this.
RORY: I didn't say anything about you.
LOGAN: Yes, you did. Don't make me feel guilty for your drinking and partying. That's your choice. I'm not forcing you. When I ask you out, you can say no
RORY: It's all we do.
LOGAN: It's not all we do.
RORY: It's all you do.
LOGAN: Well, it's my prerogative, you know. You're damn straight. I'm gonna party. I'm gonna do it while I have the chance because come June, my life is over.
RORY: Oh, yes, your horrible life. Let's hear about it.
LOGAN: Got a week?
RORY: You have every door open to you. You have opportunities that anyone would kill for, including me.
LOGAN: No one's stopping you from making whatever you want happen. Go into journalism. Go into politics. Be a doctor. Be a clown. Do whatever you want.
RORY: It's not as easy when it's not handed to you.
LOGAN: Really? It's all so easy for me? (getting upset) I don't want that life. It's forced on me. You talk about all these doors being open? All I see is one door, and I'm being pushed through it. I have no choice. You try living without options.
Logan is stuck within a heterosexual playboy idea of himself that isn’t him. And so he parties to cope.
RORY: How hard are you fighting it?
LOGAN: I didn't tell you to quit Yale. You did that. I gave you one month, you went beyond that month, and it had nothing to do with me. It was all you. Now, you want to change? Change it, but don't blame me. Don't you dare blame me. You know what? Why don't you go off with John, Jack, whatever his name is?
He's not claiming responsibility because he's an asshole, but also he doesn't know how to be a boyfriend because he's gay. He's uncomfortable with Rory relying on him emotionally because he's viewing it as romantic and the gay guy in him doesn't like that. Rory's comment about him fighting is the text is noting his struggle with compulsory heterosexuality. Rory leaves and as we know she does break up with him and jess comments to her bring her back to herself.

I reread your bit about rin in the last chapter and oh my god im crying. You did my girl justice. I'm so proud of her and i'm glad she had fun. I love the thought that she's helping him in little ways. ;') and oh my god. i love the myers siblings. Do you mind if I ask for hcs? because oooohhhmygod. need more
Awww thank you so much! I really liked the Adam-Rin segment too. I wanted to talk about Rin, but being an Onryo made it so I just couldn’t feasibly in the bulk of the story. Really glad I still got to give her her moment in the sun. : ) Adam’s such a great dude too, and I’m so happy he found meaning the way he did and keeps up such an active and deep relationship with someone who’s passed on. It’s not an easy thing to do, but I think it’s kind, and meaningful. And sure! I’m not sure if you mean Laurie and Mikey or Judith too since I got a few Judith asks yesterday, but ima assume this is ILM related and you’re looking for post-fic Laurie & Michael (sorry if that’s not the intended ask TuT). I did more but this is already a lot so I didn’t post them all haha. Here you go!
Laurie would be very unlikely to make the first move in a romantic relationship. She’s so used to prioritising survival, even when she’s okay again her brain is always, “keep homeostasis” as her directive, and adding a relationship does not fall under that listing. That said, she definitely still develops feelings, and would want things to happen. But I think it would be slow. I think with Laurie, she’d be going to lunches and having long talks and drinks and staying up and falling asleep on the couch together, in and out like each others’ presence belongs in their respective homes, come to each other for support and with hard days and for life advice, go to the theatre together and let them buy her a drink like they always do without being asked, brought back a nice gift from a trip, she waits up for them to get home to greet them, for like 1-3 years solid before one day they just take her hand and kind of smile and she realises she’s been in a relationship for two years and they just never said it, and maybe they won’t now, maybe not for another two years, but they know it, and she’s so happy.
Michael never cuts his hair short, but does not mind Laurie making him let her give him ponytails when they’re working on something, because it does get in his face.
Laurie softballs Michael for a while, since, well, she’s trying to help him reintegrate into society as a human being after having had a childhood that was basically just a 15 year stretch of psychological trauma, and being kind and supportive is a must. But after a few years, she’s gotten much more comfortable and sibling-ish in her interactions. She’ll definitely still be serious and supportive if anything happens and he needs it, but she’ll also give him shit for eating her food or not getting up off the bed she’s trying to make. He enjoys annoying her and does it for fun. Will hold eye contact and eat the cupcake she was saving just to watch her flip, like a cat batting an orange off a counter (or, you know, a sibling who’s feeling /that/ vibe rn.)
Laurie is 99% of Michael’s impulse control. If he and Quentin do something together without her, it /will/ be a disaster, because where Laurie inflicts neutral levels of chaos on the group w her lawful, Michael will almost instantaneously get Quentin to swap from lawful to chaos if she’s not there. They will both be fine, but there /will/ be something on fire when she gets back.
Laurie, walking into the house and seeing then throwing objects into a burning wastebasket in the living room: I don’t like what I’m seeing. Bring me up to speed.
Quentin: So, we maybe have illegally destroyed a car—but it’s okay! We had a good reason! Plus, we destroyed the evidence. Let me explain. So, this guy-
Laurie: :/
Michael: *gives her a ‘what’s your problem?’ gesture*
Michael and Laurie physically fight for nostalgia’s sake sometimes (for fun-get exasperated and performatively MMA. They would not actually injure each other).
One time, Laurie and Michael were walking home together from a movie and a guy drove by and whistled at Laurie and said something vulgar, and Michael stepped into the road and smashed the front of his car with his foot. It was beautiful. They did have to flee the scene but Laurie was /gleeful/. The dude in the car saw his gd life flash before his eyes and rethought some life choices.
It is a long time before Michael is willing to take any kind of meds for his psychosis (very understandably), but when Quentin eventually graduates Med school, six or so years later (bless u Jake for forging him some credits), he is willing to try a few given by him. It is not a good or easy couple of months, but he does it.
Michael gets along surprisingly well with the survivors. Most of them are pretty intimidated, but he’s genuinely chill, and they’ve been through weirder shit so 🤷🏻♀️ it’s like “Welp. This might as well happen.” and accept him in. Meg is a big thot. She’s into Susie and would never cheat and Susie knows this, but Meg will still flirt like crazy with Michael bc it’s her personality, and Michael, who’s never had this ever happen, is /beyond/ confused. Every time she says something stupid like, “Damn you’re tall. If I wasn’t a married woman, I’d climb you like a jungle gym.” He gives her the exact look Sam gives Gollum when he’s dissing potatoes in lotr.
Since she knew his and his family’s whole names and his wife’s face, Laurie tracks down Sujan’s family and tells them everything she can about what happened and how good he was, and what a difference the first person in the realm who was kind to her made.
Michael really enjoys traveling. He’s been cooped up his whole life. Spent 15 years in one little white room, and then 40 in reproductions of Haddonfield in the realm. Really, except for his solo journey from Wisconsin to home, he’s never left the state of Illinois. He goes with the survivor squad on their group trips, once he’s comfortable enough, and is consistently amazed. He’s not a very visibly emotive person, and can’t physically be bc of his psychosis symptoms, but his eyes will get big seeing the northern lights from a platform, and he’ll grab Laurie or Quentin’s wrist & point to make sure they’re seeing it too, and Laurie has never been so happy. After his first trip, he very much looks forward to the annual event.
Dr. Loomis is the only thing Michael as an adult has ever feared. (Obviously all humans feel temporary fear, like if a car comes at you or someone with a gun. But past instantaneous shock-fear, I don’t think Michael has ever been afraid of anyone else). This is based off of canon, because to me Michael reads as scared of him, especially in Halloween 2. He pauses and then retreats from Loomis in the first film, and when he sees Loomis running down streets looking for him in 2, he hides (I actually really love the Michael pov in Halloween 2 in the open. It was very humanising). Then, at the end of 2, when he’s blind and Laurie and Loomis have filled the room with ether, and Loomis tells him it’s over, he stops trying to find and kill Loomis and freezes. I genuinely think because he was scared of Loomis and has been for years (after that treatment constantly in isolation as a child, how could he not be?) and has known since he was 6 Loomis wants to kill him, so when he basically says “I’m about to kill you,” he believes him and it scares him. It’s the axe that’s been waiting to drop since he was a kid.
Laurie goes to cons with Nea, Quentin, & Min occasionally, and has dressed up as all three OG Star Wars protagonists like the lovely huge nerd she is. Has also made Michael sit down and watch all the movies w her.
Michael and Laurie go visit Judith a lot. They’ll pack a picnic lunch and talk with her and about her at her grave. It was very hard the first time they went there, especially for Michael, but after a while, it helps. It’s a way to deal with what was done in the past that makes it seem surmountable. It also helps to deal with the loss of someone they both cared for. When they go, Laurie always gets Michael to tell her something about her older sister she hast heard yet. David tracks down an old high school album from 1963, and is able to get three pictures of Judith colorised and they’re able to have a nice full-color photo of her to hang up in the house.

I read your post about Marlon surviving and joining the delta. I'm super curious about how Louis would react to this, especially the part you wrote about him being the one to cut his finger off. And what would Marlon's reaction be to seeing Louis in a relationship with Clem?
Well.
This gets wild.
Sorry ‘bout that.
-
Their relationship would become incredibly strained once Clementine and AJ entered the picture, and eventually hostile depending on choices.
In the beginning, there are several instances that show how close Louis and Marlon are; the photo in Marlon’s office, Louis being referred to as “Marlon’s lap dog,” defending Marlon and making excuses whenever he gets angry, Louis sharing a story with Clementine about him and Marlon when they were kids and how Marlon stepped up when no one else would, as well as more scenes of them standing together in the background and conversing.
However, the closer Clementine gets to him, the more changes you see in their friendship. It becomes clear that Marlon feels a bit possessive of Louis and their history together, and with him planning on giving Clementine and AJ away to the delta when the time comes, he’s afraid that Clementine will break his heart.
It gets to the point where Marlon takes Clementine out for a hunting trip and asks her intentions with him. Regardless of your response, the next morning when Clementine’s going to Marlon’s office, she hears arguing before Louis leaves. For the rest of the day, Louis keeps his distance and it’s clear that it’s Marlon’s doing, further telling the player how much of an influence [or rather, control] Marlon has over Louis.
And when the final confrontation comes and Clementine turns to Louis, it goes down about the same with some extra dialogue showing the true strain of the lies forming around their friendship.
Now, as I said, depending on if you attack him or not, Marlon will survive and be put down in the basement or AJ will kill him. For the sake of this, Clementine attacked him and got the gun, preventing his death.
The next morning comes and after Brody’s funeral, Louis and Violet, as well as the rest of the group, argue about if they should kick Marlon out.
Violet argues that he murdered Brody and is still a threat to everyone, while Louis argues that Marlon will die out there by himself and that he can atone by helping them against the delta.
Clementine has the choice to side with either of them and when she agrees with Louis, he’s incredibly thankful to her.
But, in the end, the majority vote is to kick Marlon out. This leaves Louis upset and unable to face his longtime best friend, but expresses his gratitude to Clementine for her support, even though he can see that she doesn’t truly agree with him.
Clementine and AJ lead Marlon out into the woods.
During this time, Marlon asks why Clementine would vote for him to stay. Clementine responds that she did it for Louis, which upsets Marlon. Then, they run into Lilly and Abel, they take Marlon, and Clementine and AJ are saved by James.
Back at the school, Clementine explains what happened to Louis and the others, and they prepare for the attack.
She and Louis have a quiet moment together in their graveyard where Louis goes more in-depth into his guilt about leaving Marlon to take all the responsibilities and how he noticed something going on with him, but always turned away from it. He always wanted to believe in him, and a part of him still can’t comprehend that Marlon killed Brody and gave the twins away.
The piano scene goes down the same [EXCEPT I get my piano mini-game!!! If Violet gets constellations then Louis gets a duet!!] and so does the fight, except Lilly mentions Marlon in hopes that someone will come forward.
Fast forward to the boat, we see Marlon for the first time weeks, and he’s fucked up. I’m talking his head is shaved, he’s got healing bruises all over him, his eyes are sunken in, and he speaking much differently. He’s clearly been subject to the delta’s “training methods” and it’s made him damn near a new person.
And here, he replaces Dorian, telling Clementine to not try anything or else they’ll hurt Violet more. Lilly shows up with Minerva, they chat, Minerva confesses to killing Sophie, and Louis freaks out. Marlon tries to calm him down, but it’s too late.
Lilly orders Marlon to pull Louis out of the cell, to which Louis and AJ try to stop him, but ultimately Louis ends up on the ground with Marlon on top and ready to cut off Louis’ finger.
AJ bites him, and Louis is dragged back into the cell. Marlon’s left to watch the others while Lilly drags AJ away, and here’s where we see Louis completely come apart.
Up to this point, we’ve watched Louis slowly come to terms with all the fucked up shit Marlon’s done and realizes how he manipulated him into avoiding Clementine all out of selfishness. And here, after Marlon did this to him- his best friend?
You thought Louis screaming “FUCK YOU!” at Minerva left you shook? Oof. OOF. Double that you and you’ve got his heated argument with Marlon while Clementine escapes.
Louis gets out of his cell and fucking tackles Marlon off of Clementine. Louis isn’t as physically strong as him, so Marlon kicks Louis off and goes after Clementine with a knife. Louis crawls to grab Marlon’s crossbow and shoots him through the shoulder.
Realizing what he’s done, Louis goes into shock, but instead of going to Marlon’s side and apologizing, he turns his back on him and grabs Violet out of her cell.
The group leaves Marlon lying there.
Back on land, we’re left with a split second choice: Do you shoot Minerva or Marlon? Whoever you shoot gets killed by walkers while the other only gets bitten.
Marlon gets bitten, and we’re left to think he died as well.
Now, depending on if Tenn or Mitch is alive, they’ll travel with you, Louis and AJ to the bridge. For the sake of this scenario, we’ll say that Mitch is with us.
Marlon corners us on the bridge. He’s even more fucked at this point, dragging his feet and talking to himself. When he sees Louis, he begins to reminisce about them when they were kids, apologizing for not being a good friend. He apologizes for killing Brody, for giving away the twins, for betraying everyone. He knows that Louis likes Clementine, but she’s not worth it. She’ll get him killed. Marlon begs Louis to leave with him, saying he’ll protect him, completely delusional about how near-death he really is.
He says that it’ll just be the two of them, no Clementine, no school. Louis tries to talk him down, and it’s a jarring contrast to their previous seen together. It’s quiet, with only the growing groans and growls of walkers closing in on them and Marlon’s sobs echoing.
Clementine and the others try to quietly sneak across while Louis keeps him distracted, but Marlon catches a glimpse of Clementine, causing him to break down. He shoots the gun off, brings the walkers to full attention.
It plays out very similar to the Minerva route, but here Clementine [her leg fucked] and AJ are both across, but Louis and Mitch are left trying to escape.
Marlon wrestles Louis to the ground, choking him until Louis finds the strength to claw at Marlon’s eyes, kicking him off and into the walkers. Louis, coughing and holding his bruising throat, watches in horror as Marlon is ripped apart and eaten alive by walkers.
Mitch tries to help him up, and this is where he gets bit.
They both make it across, and Louis is just…. a mess. His best friend [his brother] is dead, he can barely breathe, Clementine’s hurt, and now Mitch is bitten because of him.
In the end, Louis still makes a marker and grave for Marlon, burying some of his belongings in place of a body and he says his final goodbye.
This is just the basics.
I really wish the game had an extra focus on Louis and Marlon and the conflict Clementine brought to their relationship for several reasons. This whole “AU” I’ve created, I guess, is just what I would’ve loved to see.
More Louis, more Marlon, more tragic conflict.

I will always maintain that Dabb's finale's titles are incredibly meta and foreshadow the coming events. Given that this finale was titled Moriah (and I'm going back and forth on whether we got Jehovahjireh in the form of Sam), I can't help but speculate that S15 is going to be the transition from Old Testament to New Testament. There's a good reason why we never got a Christ figure before S13.
Hello from my inbox circa three weeks ago... >.>
(sorry I’m so far behind, but I’m still randomly spelunking through older messages and trying to reply as I can)
I had to google what Jehovahjireh meant, and I... don’t think that’s what we got in the literal sense of the term, but maybe something along these lines, from this article: https://www.gotquestions.org/Jehovah-Jireh.html:
The account of Abraham on Mt. Moriah thus becomes more than a dramatic illustration of faith and obedience. It is a presentation of the Lord’s eternal grace, continual provision, and all-encompassing wisdom. Jehovah-Jireh is not “The LORD Did Provide,” but “The LORD Will Provide.” In other words, the name does not simply memorialize a past event; it anticipates a future action.
With the highly ironic twist that God himself literally engineered this entire encounter in the first place. Which, again, is yet another nod to the spiral narrative, and this story that Chuck’s been telling and retelling literally forever. All of this has happened before, but Sam, Dean, and Cas have just leveled up and seen that bigger picture. And yay, I get to haul out one of the three gifs I’ve ever made, from 8.12:
Well, TFW just finally found a parking spot and stood their ground. Chuck did provide, and if they demonstrate faith in his instructions, he will provide all of this again-- all of this suffering, this horrific “I did what I had to do,” “I didn’t have a choice” moment where they must sacrifice everything to save the world again. And again and again and again...
Team Free Will, who have sacrificed so much over and over again in the name of preserving humanity and free will for everyone else, have never truly had it for themselves. Thanks, Chuck, for keeping them trapped in this narrative loop for the sake of drama, for the sake of watching his favorite characters reenact his favorite plot and never letting them enjoy any of the rewards for a job well done, you know?
That said, to me, Dabb’s season finale titles are more about pointing out this spiral narrative than they are about foreshadowing. Because seriously, what even is the point of foreshadowing within a cyclical narrative? Dabb didn’t NEED to foreshadow anything on the grand scale, because it’s all happened before, and it will all happen again... Let me explain.
Alpha and Omega. Dabb’s first season finale, in a season where he quietly took over the showrunner reins from Jeremy Carver somewhere shortly after midseason (and an argument can be made that he was already aware this shift was imminent when he wrote 11.10, even if it wasn’t official yet, seeing as how he began steering the narrative around this point...). This was arguably the culmination of one round of this Grand Narrative, hitting all the major plot points Chuck has included in every round-- sacrifice (Dean volunteering to “be the bomb,”), everyone working toward the common goal and all of them willing to make the ultimate sacrifice in the name of saving the universe again.
Alpha and Omega is “the beginning and the ending.” Or “the first and the last.” It’s referenced in the Book of Revelation. And 11.23 is an ending in many ways... the ending of that particular chapter in the mytharc of Supernatural, the ending of Chuck and Amara’s separation, the technical ending of the Carver Era, the end of s11 itself. But it’s also full of beginnings... the beginning of Dabb Era, the beginning of the next chapter in the mytharc of Supernatural (with the introduction of the BMoL and the unfridging of Mary Winchester that had begun the original era of Supernatural in 1.01, so in a sense Mary’s reappearance is both a Beginning AND an Ending... it’s spirals all the way down, my dudes). And it was narratively the beginning of TFW’s era serving as the “caretakers” of the Universe in Chuck’s supposed absence... that worked out great, right?
But this was always the story Dabb wanted to tell. His intent was always to point at the curtain, to draw our attention away from the Big Scary Glowing Head with all the smoke and mirrors and begin nudging us all to recognize the curtain over in the corner of the room where you could see some dude’s feet down at the bottom. He’s spent his entire tenure as showrunner effectively teaching us all how this entire story functions. More on this in a second, but first let’s look at 12.23:
All Along The Watchtower. There has been so much meta written about just this title alone, going back to even before the episode aired:
https://mittensmorgul.tumblr.com/tagged/all%20along%20the%20watchtower/chrono
https://mittensmorgul.tumblr.com/tagged/*all%20along%20the%20watchtower%20plays%20in%20the%20distance*/chrono
I’ve begun refiling all these posts under this tag:
https://mittensmorgul.tumblr.com/tagged/it%27s-spirals-all-the-way-down/chrono
but I got derailed somewhere around 11.05, so there’s a gap... I need to get back to that retagging project someday >.>
I don’t know if you’ve ever watched Battlestar Galactica, but (spoiler alert), All Along The Watchtower was literally the magical key that unlocked the entire narrative, on pretty much every level-- in story, the notes of the song itself functioned as the “magic spell” that unlocked the Heroine’s Journey for the character of Kara Thrace, the narrative structure of the entire series which (surprise!) bore out to be a Grand Loop of a Spiral where the ending of the old story was simultaneously the same beginning of the same story, and the overarching structure of the divinity of that entire universe:
https://mittensmorgul.tumblr.com/post/184126770915/justanotheridijiton
And I think that’s why Dabb chose this as his title here. He couldn’t possibly have chosen a more on-the-nose title, honestly... for an episode full of endings and beginnings, a window (or portal) onto a “failed world,” the birth of possibly either hope or destruction (or both simultaneously) with Jack, Castiel’s first True Death (wingprints and all!), and yet another revolution of the Same Story, the same song sung over again. Which brings us to
Let The Good Times Roll: Heck my dudes, for whom did any good times actually roll in this episode? For Michael? Who defeated “his Lucifer” over in that “failed universe,” finally getting another chance to “do it right?” Wherein his idea of “doing it right” was simply to change a few elements like customizing Ikea cabinets with different drawer pulls and maybe the oak finish instead of the cherry? His goal was always still the same, you know? Even if his methods were different simply due to circumstance (no angel army in this world, so he picked monsters instead). For Dean? Who thought at the beginning of the episode that they might finally be getting ahead of the game and maybe were reaching a point where they didn’t have to shoulder the burdens of the world (talking about “toes in the sand” again at the beginning of the episode before Michael and Lucifer broke back into this world), and then by the end had finally lost everything that Cas had been fighting against since he first rebelled in 4.22, giving in and saying Yes to Michael, and then losing his free will entirely, completely overridden by Michael in a way that even Dean revoking his consent couldn’t evict him again? For Jack, who had his grace torn out by his father and was sent on a crash course in humanity, loss, sacrifice, love, and death? I mean, this was just a rolling around of the narrative again, forcing everyone to face this Worst Case Scenario of the apocalypse finally jumping back on the tracks again, even with Lucifer dead and Michael having killed him. Because Michael never wanted anything different than Lucifer did-- the end of the world, by whatever means necessary. There is no paradise on Earth, merely destruction and rebirth in an endless cycle that Michael wanted to bring to an end.
It’s spirals all the way down, and the archangels just... don’t even have the ability to recognize that, let alone consider defying it.
Hello, 7.21: DEAN: Oh, I don't know, man. What can I say? You've been chosen. And it sucks. Believe me. There's no use asking "why me?" 'Cause the angels – they don't care. I think maybe they just don't have the equipment to care. Seems like when they try, it just... breaks them apart.
Because in Dabb era, it’s kinda clear that that should’ve been the angels’ goal all along.
So instead of an ending (despite several things ending-- like Lucifer and Dean’s free will), we also have a fresh beginning. Welcome to Apocalypse Again.
Which finally brings us to
Moriah. More beginnings, more endings, but more importantly, the first actual transcendence of the narrative spiral by the characters themselves. TFW finally managed to throw back the curtain and see the weaselly lil dude standing behind it. And this has always, ALWAYS been Dabb’s endgame gambit. Every turn of the narrative up to this point has been leading up to this moment of syzygy where every character, every plot element, finally aligned for them to look through all the narrative loops and finally see the truth at the center of the story.
Here’s where I start detouring for the sake of clarity. Bear with me while this becomes murky as pea soup before finally coming back together. This post I wrote five days after 12.23 aired basically called this out:
https://mittensmorgul.tumblr.com/post/160988290690/12-while-i-do-not-ask-this-to-be-negative-at
And used this graphic in that post to explain shifting the viewer’s perspective on the narrative structure in order to understand the bigger picture of what the show is telling us with the narrative:
And this is what I mean by narrative syzygy. TFW-- inside the story-- have finally found themselves standing at the correct angle where all the plot points have lined up, and they can now see the universe looking directly back at them, quite literally. They finally, in story, have the full picture of where they stand versus God and the Universe.
And it’s unsettling!
But back to the point I abandoned before this detour. If you’re thinking of Moriah only in relation to the Abraham/Isaac story, you are missing fully half the relevant reference. You only need to look back to the very beginning of Jack’s life, and 13.02, to recall the other specific biblical reference relevant to Moriah: Solomon’s temple. (yes, I recognize that David built an altar there, and other temples have been built there, but Solomon has specifically been connected to Jack from the start, so we’re gonna go with his construction of the temple... but it is relevant to bear in mind the cycle of sacrifice, death, destruction, rebirth, and rebuilding all associated with Mt. Moriah, too).
The Big Reveal in 14.20-- everything from Jack’s “stop lying” and the ensuing chaos to Chuck’s hand being forced when his guys threw down the gun and refused to act out this specific sacrifice in a graveyard-- literally a place filled with monuments to the dead, including a statue/fountain of Mary and a rusted fence surrounding a tomb that looks suspiciously temple-like:
Birth, Death, Sacrifice, Faith, all in a never ending cycle. The characters have been trapped in this loop since the beginning of time, or at least since 1.01, unwittingly living out the same story over and over again, but each time leveling up in some way, and gaining perspective on another element of the narrative on each go-around. Each time through the loop, they may have faced the same Big Picture-- the current iteration of the Big Bad, the family dynamics, the struggle for personal growth, and their understanding of the universe in general and their places in it specifically. This is the Grand Story of Supernatural, on every level.
But now, in this final spiral of the story, the circle has finally been broken, and our guys are now aware that that gif I used above from 8.12 is literally the story of their entire lives, and they have confronted the source of that fact and finally broken free from it.
Cue the zombies. Because heck Chuck is mad they broke his story, and it looks like he doesn’t accept defeat graciously...
TFW only has one more Big Bad to defeat-- the story itself.

Your Queen!Rhaenys looks very interesting, it changes so many things. For example, does Tywin push for a marriage between Viserys and Cersei? Are Viserys or Aegon considered for Rhaenys'husband? What happens to the rebels ? I'm sorry, I have a lot of questions but I love AUs.
Oh thank you! It’s just a little AU to dabble in between working on A Tale of Sand and Smoke, but I’m having fun with the implications of it. So many different paths to take!
Also I put this under the cut because it got rather long. XD
Tywin does push for a marriage between Viserys and Cersei, and both of them are utterly miserable for it. Viserys is someone who wants power, who will never be satisfied without it, and who likely will always feel cheated. As much as he disliked Rhaenys he felt like he should have married her and been made king. He probably contemplated trying to deligitimize Rhaenys by saying she wasn’t a real Targaryen, but he would have had Aegon to deal with (who is very obviously Rhaegar’s son) and so it would have gotten him no closer to the throne either way. So he feigns loyalty and glowers and secretly calls Rhaenys “the Queen of Sand” as an insult to Cersei who has zero patience for her husband and is just as bitter as she’d have been marrying Robert. She knows how to manipulate Viserys though, he’s easy to control in his own way, so she has the run of Dragonstone while her husband mopes.
Luckily Dany is sent to King’s Landing to be a playmate and confidante of Queen Rhaenys growing up so she doesn’t have to deal with Viserys much except when she goes home to visit. She and Rhaenys get along swimmingly.
---
I think Tywin would have considered having Viserys and his mother killed, just to tie up any loose ends where the Targaryens were concerned but decided against it in a grab for solidifying his power. He would never have considered Viserys for the throne, though, not when the boy had showed at such a young age that he was incapable of listening to advice and rotten to the core.
As cruel, callous, and scheming as Tywin Lannister is, he wants there to be a competent ruler on the throne. In canon he was stuck with Joffrey and tried to make the best of it and likely didn’t mourn when Joffrey died and he was able to mold Tommen as he saw fit. So he would have taken one look at Viserys, who was coddled by his mother and the Mad King, and realized that he was already ruined as far as kingship went.
And Rhaenys listens. Rhaenys is good at listening to advice and using it, and being fair-minded without letting herself be manipulated. She has a mind of the military and the big picture, and Tywin would be impressed despite himself. Rhaenys was no his first choice, obviously, he’d have wanted Aegon on the throne, but when Elia had reached out to him with this alliance and plan, she had made it clear that Rhaenys would be the heir.
Tywin quickly made it clear that Rhaenys would not be marrying a Targaryen for several reasons. First, it quelled any fears of another Mad King scenario. Everyone knew that the inbreeding between the Targaryens had caused the madness, and no one would have been welcoming of the idea of more of the same. Regardless of what side anyone had taken during Robert’s Rebellion, all of them had feared the Mad King and his cruelty.
Second, it opened up the possibility for alliances through marriage to the majority of the great houses of Westeros. A chance to have any of their sons as a Prince Consort meant many were more than willing to bend the knee when they’d been uncertain before, or to change sides during the Rebellion and pledge fealty to the young queen who was being reared under the tutelage of Tywin Lannister.
Third, it solidified Rhaenys’ position as THE Queen, as opposed to the wife of whoever she were to marry. Tywin had made a deal and knew that the only course of action to solidify his new position and power base was to make certain that Rhaenys was considered the true and rightful heir to the Iron Throne.
Fourth, it made certain that Dorne would fully support the throne.
---
The Rebellion went...poorly for Robert’s side after Rhaegar’s death and Rhaenys’ coronation.
Tywin was cutthroat in his culling of the rebels. Dorne fully joined the war at that point under the banner or their new Queen, and several of the houses that had stood with the Baratheons now secretly pledged loyalty to Rhaenys Targaryen, and Tywin Lannister planned for the final battle of the Rebellion.
The battle at the Tower of Joy never happened, because the members of the Kingsguard had returned to King’s Landing upon learning that the Mad King and Rhaegar were both dead, and their new queen Rhaenys demanded they return to bend the knee.
The heavily pregnant Lyanna Stark was sent to Sunspear as a hostage, per Tywin’s orders. Tywin sent out a decree that Lyanna would be returned to the North if the Starks withdrew from the battle and swore fealty to Rhaenys, and that all the noble families that swore fealty to Rhaenys would be pardoned...save for Robert Baratheon, who would be executed for killing Rhaegar, and Lyn Corbray for killing Lewyn Martell (per the demands of Dorne), but their families would be spared.
The Rebellion fractured at that point, with many of the noble houses leaving the Baratheons as they saw the tide changing, and figured that Rhaenys would be a far better queen then the Mad King.
Eddard Stark, who had rushed to King’s Landing per Robert’s orders upon the death of Rhaegar, was held there to “make a decision and rest from his arduous journey”. He was informed of Lyanna’s fate as well by Ser Arthur Dayne...and of her pregnancy.
Robert refused to bend the knee to “Rhaegar’s little bitch” and demanded Lyanna be returned to him. When he was denied, he mounted one final attack. It ended poorly for him. Eddard Stark and his main host were being held in King’s Landing, and many of those that had pledged their service to him had fled while he’d recovered from his injuries at the Battle of the Trident.
Robert rushed to Storm’s End, to end the siege and gather his forces with his brother Stannis.
The final battle was a bloodbath. While initially it seemed that Robert Baratheon would pin the remaining loyalist forces against the walls of Storm’s End, he was not prepared for an army of Dornishmen from the west...for the one to learn the news was Jon Arryn, who was betrayed by his bannermen of the Vale, specifically Lord Lyonel Corbray who felt that his father and brother, Lyn Corbray (who slew Lewyn Martell) had betrayed their oaths to their true king and were fighting a losing battle...and who was also promised the Eyrie in exchange for his loyalty.
Lyonel Corbray and many of the nobles of the Vale unfurled their new banners, those of Rhaenys Targaryen, and joined forces with the Dornishmen and slaughtered the remains of Robert’s army. The Seige of Storm’s End promptly ended, and the remaining Baratheons were forced to surrender.
Robert did not survive the battle, nor did Jon Arryn. Lyn Corbray was sent back to King’s Landing in chains to be executed, and Stannis Baratheon was called to King’s Landing to bend the knee.
Eddard Stark, upon hearing of his friend’s death and that of his mentor Jon Arryn, and fearing for Lyanna’s safety, pledged his loyalty to Rhaenys. It is said that his decision was made when Elia Martell expressed her sadness over the unjust way that his older brother and father were killed by the Mad King, and little queen Rhaenys had said, “my grandpa was a mean man. I’m sorry he was mean to your family too. I promise I won’t be a mean queen.” and the sincerity of her childish vow moved him.
The full fallout of the rebellion would take another post entirely, I think. XD But Eddard goes to Dorne to take Lyanna home. He is with her when she dies in childbirth, when she makes him promise to look after her child. Tywin Lannister allows Eddard to name him and claim him as a Stark, with a signed decree from Queen Rhaenys that legitimizes the boy as a Stark and not a Targaryen. He will, however, become a ward of Casterly Rock before he will be sent to King’s Landing to be a playmate of the young prince Aegon when he is old enough, and his true heritage cannot be known to anyone.
Eddard agrees, and the only ones who knew that Lyanna was with child were Tywin Lannister, Eddard Stark, and the three members of Kingsguard who had initially been tasked with guarding Lyanna by Rhaegar (Ser Aruther Dayne, Ser Oswell Whent, and Ser Gerold Hightower). The three members of the Kingsguard, now a part of Rhaenys Queensguard, were told that both the mother and child perished in Dorne.
Thanks for the ask! I love answering questions like this!

I have seen Civil War only once because I hated it so much, haha. So I can't hang with your take, I honestly don't have the memory for it. But I'm interested in what you think as an unbiased party seeing the fued between Cap and Tony, what are your thoughts on the accords and the fallout from Civil War?
I’m sorry it’s taken a while to reply to this! My inbox is a disaster.
[ Re: this response I wrote to a piece of MCU meta that crossed my dash ]
Makes sense! I saw it twice, I think, because I ended up watching it again with my dad, but I wasn’t too broken up about having to see it again. My favorite character is Bucky, and since he is—at best—a ghost of a shadow of an implication in most other Marvel movies, it was a treat for him to share some major screentime in that one. I can understand why you wouldn’t want to go back and rewatch it, though! It’s been years for me, so my memory is not the freshest, either! I owe any freshness of memory to my discussions with @monkeysatemylastrolo, who loves Tony and is super amazing, and deserves the credit for any coherence in this trash-fire of a response.
(As for the start of your ask… To me, it’s pretty clear to me that Tony, in his grief, did a few things that were unquestionably lethal. A repulsor beam to the skull seems kinda like a no-brainer re: lethality. However, it was also clear he calmed down as the fight went on. But that’s not what this post is about, so…)
In short: I am the farthest thing from knowledgeable about the franchise or its characters. I have never read the comics. I will try my best to answer, but please bear with me.
Okay, so.
What do I think about the feud between Captain America and Iron Man?
Honestly? I think it was inevitable. For both of them. And I don’t really think it was as much about the politics as it was about their own personalities and experiences. I’m not trying to excuse anyone, but I also can’t really criticize either of them, because it’s hard for me to imagine them making any other choices. Of course the politics played a role, but if that alone were the case, I think they had enough of a friendship under their belts to reconcile their differences without violence. So, deep-seated fears and insecurities it is.
Cut for length. Some of this I’m making sense of as I type it. Sorry in advance.
To me, it seemed like at least part of the reason that Tony felt so strongly about the Accords was his past experiences. He had been made to doubt himself and his own decisions. He has been betrayed. His good intentions have—through no fault of his own—turned against him. It makes sense that he’d agree with the Accords, because there is security in having many voices. Guilt and shame and trauma led him to associate his (and the team’s) individual choices with death and destruction.
To Steve, I think his history pushed him inexorably in the opposite direction. Way back when he was actually young, before he went in the ice, he was already a contrary fellow, but the war only pushed home his mistrust in government authority and oversight. I mean, Hitler. I don’t really think I need to say much more about how living in that time could instill a mistrust of authority in people. But that’s not nearly enough, of course, to justify his position. Enough to explain…. maybe. But then he comes out of the ice and helps to hold off a massive alien invasion as part of a government sanctioned group of enhanced individuals. Then the next Cap movie was all about how the organization he trusted and allied himself with was pretty much 90% Hydra, an organization that was still very much alive and well and which had kidnapped his closest friend, brainwashed him, repeatedly destroyed his memory, and forced him to kill. And ooohhhhhhh boy, the individualist streak is back. Anyone could be Hydra, and probably everyone is working for their own gain, anyway, with secret agendas from here to Mars. He withdraws. He only trusts himself. And you know, maybe that’s still not enough to justify his resistance, because the Accords were signed by so many countries and were supposed to really help things (though… I’ll get to that). Honestly, I can’t say that I see Steve as a terribly chilly, rational person. He’s hot-headed, and he does what he believes to be right, damn the consequences.
But honestly, forget everything I said above, because while those probably had something to do with it in the beginning (and reasonably so, since I think our experiences do shape our perceptions and are difficult to change or unlearn). It probably wasn’t about any of that, and I doubt he could have expressed it if someone had asked. I think it was largely about Bucky. As soon as Bucky became a target, Steve was out. The Greater Good or whatever the flip might have been a footnote at the back of his mind, but
a) his only link to his past and his closest friend was being falsely accused and targeted
b) he didn’t know that it was unrelated to all the other stuff going down
c) since when has he been a cool-headed decision-maker?
So, honestly? Both of their positions make sense, just based on their personalities and experiences. Based on the fallout from some of their very major battles (though with battles of that magnitude, the damage doesn’t necessarily fall on them, because it’s most often driven by malicious forces), Tony’s position makes sense. They need permission. They need oversight. They do not have the right to just invade and destroy. It’s disgusting and disrespectful, and Tony has enough to have nightmares about.
But for Steve, the Accords likely seem like red tape. Bureaucracy and hemming and hawing about things have, in his experience, not often led to good things. It’s what meant the division his friend worked with—captured, tortured, and imprisoned—didn’t mean enough to save. To the absolute detriment of the big picture, he focuses on people. (See: Infinity War. Killing one man could have stopped or delayed everything, but he couldn’t justify it to himself. To him, the people he cares for are the universe. It warps his sense of scale.) So, as he is wont to do, he said, screw all of you, and he went off to free Bucky’s unit. Once again, in Civil War, the “greater good” came (quite indirectly) at the cost of Bucky. …I can’t say his actions surprised me, considering his history with the perversion of authority and government.
What did I think about the Accords?
Honestly? They sounded like they could have been very good. I really can’t speak to them, though. I genuinely can’t, because the movie told us nothing of their particulars. Their detractors are citing weaknesses that are not explicitly there, and the supporters of the accords are touting benefits that are also not explicitly present. We know many countries signed them. We know they’re pretty hefty. We know Wakanda signed them, which is a big point in their favor, though—crap. Actually… pre-Black Panther, Wakanda was a very insular country, denying outside influence. That could have affected their position. Anyway! The sheer amount of support they got means that the Accords likely seemed pretty solid to the majority of countries (if not necessarily the majority of the world, because there are a couple countries that hold a bit more sway, population-wise. I dunno if there’s a list out there of countries that signed, so let’s just assume the majority of the world).
Honestly? It sounds like, as long as there were provisions in place for emergency action (like in the case of another alien invasion) and some Mutant voices on whatever committee made decisions (crap, enhanced human? Are mutants a thing in Marvel? I know some characters weren’t allowed to be Mutant because of some weird dispute with Fox or something, so they just ended up enhanced in Marvel movie canon, but I don’t know if Mutants are a thing in this universe)—anyway. It sounds like they could have been good.
But honestly, I don’t know. And since that one really moustachey guy—was his name Ross??—was a) a jerk and b) the unofficial chain-yanker in the movie and the emblem of the limitations that would be placed on the Avengers, the accords didn’t get as good representation to viewers as they should have, and it became clear that, regardless of how amazing they were, there were already people set to take advantage of them. (Inevitable and irrelevant, I know. Just because there are people who will take advantage of a good thing doesn’t make it bad, but it wasn’t a beacon of reason to change Cap’s mind, either. It only drove home his presuppositions about authority.)
The actual content of the Accords didn’t get much representation at all. So honestly? I can’t say anything about them. They could have been awesome. They could have sucked. They could have streamlined the process wonderfully and made taking action easier and safer for everyone… or tied the Avengers up in red tape and prevented them from apprehending Really Bad Dudes.
I don’t know, and I don’t think I can confidently say one way or another.
Also, it has become apparent to me that I really need to watch all of the Avengers movies, but I just don’t have the motivation.

I'm glad you guys enjoy my idea. tbh, I didn't expected you to write reference from L.A. Noire since I saw them as Sherlock and Watson, lol. Here's my another idea: Kyoko Phelps & Shuichi Bekowsky and the Mystery of Twogami. Souda was looking for Twogami and thought he was lost (but in reality, he was disguised as different person). As Souda give a pic of Twogami to them, it was Byakuya. YES, BYAKUYA HAVE TO GET INVOLVED THE MESS AGAIN.
Well then @cryptidcondiment , you know who to thank for this! Also, I will use every chance available to me to spread the good game that is LA Noire.
Thanks @aelichan for the ask, and I hope you and the others will enjoy!
THE DR CASES
THE IMPERSONATOR’S DAY OFF
Kyoko Phelps walked down the hallway, looking at a notebook she had been writing in.
(Kyoko) “I don’t get this at all…Somehow this book keeps filling in itself whenever I ask someone questions. Not only that, it somehow fills out the info I don’t even know about the person yet hyper accurately, and that’s not even getting to the face drawings…”
(Shuichi’s Voice) “Hey, Phelps!”
Kyoko looked up and saw Shuichi wave to her as he was talking with Kaede.
(Kyoko) “Hello Bekowsky. I take it this is the lucky lady?”
(Shuichi) “Yup. Kaede, this is my partner, Kyoko Phelps. We serve in the same desk, Traffic. Right now we’re off duty so that’s why we’re at school as of recently.”
(Kaede) “I told you to call me sweetheart Shui-…Um, hi there Kyoko! It’s nice to meet you!”
Kyoko shook hands with Kaede firmly.
(Kaede) “You’ve been treating the love of my life good haven’t you?”
(Shuichi) “K-Kaede!”
(Kyoko) “Of course. We’re partners after all. Besides, SOMEONE has to give him relationship advice-”
Kyoko turned to Shuichi with a playful smirk.
(Kyoko) “Don’t want you to end up in the doghouse after all-”
(Shuichi) “PHELPS!”
Kaede laughed heartily, before turning to Shuichi.
(Kaede) “I’m glad she has a sense of humor!”
(Shuichi) “I…don’t think that’s very funny-”
(Soda’s voice) “BYAKUYA! BYAKUYAAAAA!!!!!”
Soda frantically looked around the hallways, frantically searching for Byakuya Togami. He basically looked like a psychopath, shouting his name so loud to the point anyone could hear him from the cafeteria downstairs.
(Shuichi) “Isn’t that the Ultimate Mechanic?”
(Kaede) “Yeah, what’s he calling Byakuya for?”
(Kyoko) “Hm…Bekowsky, let’s check it out. Until next time, Kaede.”
(Kaede) “Yeah sure thing! See ya guys!”
Kaede hugged Shuichi fiercely, then waved them goodbye. Shuichi readjusted his hat, and turned to Kyoko.
(Shuichi) “You REALLY had to make that joke?!”
(Kyoko) “Oh come along my intense protege. Have a bit of fun once in a while.”
Kyoko and Shuichi walked up to Soda while displaying their badges.
(Kyoko) “Phelps and Bekowsky, LAPD. What seems to be the trouble?”
(Soda) “Oh thank god, the cops! Listen, a friend of mine has gone missing!”
(Kyoko) “You mean Byakuya Togami right? We heard you shouting his name.”
(Shuichi) “Wait, missing? What do you mean? Me and Phelps saw him a day or two ago.”
(Soda) “Huh? What do you mean? Oh! You mean that guy who LOOKS like Byakuya right? Sorry, but that ain’t him!”
(Shuichi) “H-Huh? What do you mean?”
(Kyoko) “…Humor me mister…?”
(Soda) “Soda. Kazuichi Soda.”
(Kyoko) “Mister Soda, do you have any photos of him, by any chance?”
(Soda) “Huh? Oh yeah, here ya go.”
Soda handed the two a picture of Byakuya, and both of them were shocked seeing the Togami Soda was talking about.
(Kyoko) “…Well this is new.”
(Shuichi) “Well, he uh…certainly looks like Byakuya but…bigger.”
(Soda) “Can you help me find him?! I was going to ask him something, but I’m afraid something’s happened to him!”
(Shuichi) “Well Phelps, what are you thinking?”
(Kyoko) “Hm…I wasn’t aware there was someone else who looked like Byakuya…perhaps, we should confront Byakuya ourselves. Come along.”
Shuichi nodded, and everyone followed Kyoko into the library.
(Shuichi) “Ah, of course he’s in here.”
(Kyoko) “Bya-”
(Soda) “WHAT THE HELL?! THAT’S NOT BYAKUYA! THAT’S NOT HIM AT ALL!”
(Byakuya) “…Pardon?-”
As soon as he saw Shuichi and Kyoko again, he braced himself. If this was anything like the brownie incident, is that this was going to be very fucking stupid.
(Byakuya) “You two again. 2nd time this week. What crazy mess did I get myself into this time?”
(Kyoko) “No words needed really, just look at this.”
(Shuichi) “Uh Phelps, is that a good ide-”
Byakuya spat out his tea violently, and stood up instantly, gripping the photo hard.
(Byakuya) “What’s the meaning of this?! Why is this…slob looking exactly like me?!”
(Kyoko) “That’s what me and Bekowsky want to get to the bottom of, Togami.”
(Soda) “Who are you really?! Cause you sure aren’t the Togami I know!”
(Shuichi) “I’m…gonna have to ask you to stay quiet Soda. Let the LAPD handle this and uh…You’re causing a scene.”
Soda turned around and saw lots of students look at him with a death glare as they were trying to study.
(Soda) “S-sorry…”
(Byakuya) “Let’s leave. I wish to find this imposter myself..”
(Soda) “B-Before that!”
Soda quickly walked over to the students and handed them the picture of Byakuya.
(Soda) “Have you seen this man?”
(Toko) “Nope. L-Leave me alone.”
(Sayaka) “I haven’t.”
(???) “Isn’t he right behind you?”
(Taka) “No, apologies. Also, please do not yell in the library, it is not welcome in this kind of environment.”
(Soda) “Welp, worth a try.”
(Shuichi) “…Wait, who’s that gi-”
(Kyoko) “Come along Bekowsky, or we’re gonna leave you behind.”
Shuichi shrugged, and followed Kyoko. After walking around the school, they couldn’t find him virtually anywhere. It seemed that all their questioning had come to a major roadblock.
(Byakuya) “This is getting us nowhere. I thought you two were good at your jobs.”
(Shuichi) “Not when there’s this little evidence…”
(Kyoko) “Is there something we’re overlooking?”
(Soda) “Hmm…What if…that one in the photo is an imposter?…Wait, WHAT IF THE ONE IN FRONT OF US IS THE IMPOSTER!”
(Kyoko/Shuichi) “…”
(Byakuya) “What are you talking about?! I AM THE REAL BYAKUYA TOGAMI!”
(Soda) “Oh thats full of shit! You agree with me, right Miss Phelps?!”
MAXIMUM DOUBT TIME
(Kyoko) “That is not the case, mister Soda. In fact, this entire case has been a waste of the LAPD’s time.”
(Soda) “H-Huh?!”
(Shuichi) “Oh god, here we go-”
(Kyoko) “Tell me, Soda. What do you need from this Byakuya?”
(Soda) “W-Well um..that’s very private!”
(Kyoko) “Would this happen to do something with Sonia Nevermind?”
(Soda) “HUH?!”
(Shuichi) “Me and my partner know about your thirst for the Ultimate Princess. Heck, even the whole school knows! Tell them, Togami.”
(Byakuya) “Don’t tell me tha-…”ahem”Yes, even I know that you have a thing for her. But unfortunately for you, she doesn’t have her sights on you, does she?”
(Soda) “E-EGH!”
(Kyoko) “She’s very fond of the Ultimate Breeder, Gundham Tanaka, and you were about to ask a classmate for something to impress her, weren’t you!”
(Soda) “O-Of course not! What does this have to do with Miss Sonia?!”
(Byakuya) “Everything actually, seeing how you kept messing up the LAPD’s and my questioning, you’re just after his…No, MY money, weren’t you?”
(Soda) “GAH!”
(Shuichi) “With that, I don’t think we need much more evidence, now do we? Phelps?”
(Kyoko) “Cuff him, Bekowsky.”
(Soda) “WHAT?!-”
(Kyoko) “The Bureau is gonna LOVE you, Soda. Let’s see what they think about wasting police time and resources on a wild goose chase like this!”
Shuichi handcuffed Soda, and shoved him towards Byakuya.
(Kyoko) “Alright, we’ll let you take it from here, Togami.”
(Byakuya) “Heh, with pleasure.”
(Soda) “NO, PLEASE! THIS ISN’T CONSTITUTIONAL! MISS SONIAAAA! HELP MEEEE!!!-”
As Byakuya dragged Soda away, Kyoko and Shuichi took a deep breath.
(Kyoko) “So, what do you think?”
Kyoko and Shuichi turned to the door behind them, and a voice that sounded exactly like Byakuya’s came out of it.
(Twogami’s Voice) “Not bad, not bad at all…It was nice to have a day off from being Togami for once. Looks like I made the right choice contacting the LAPD.”
(Kyoko) “Of course, Soda most likely would have recognized you, correct?”
(Twogami) “Yes…Thank you, Phelps and Bekowsky from saving me from that idiot…Speaking of, when will he realize that you two were off duty?”
(Shuichi) “Eh, most likely when the boys in blue we ordered to come here start cracking up.”
(Kyoko) “Well, we shall see you later.”
(Twogami) “You know, Phelps. It seems your sense of humor has picked up today for some reason…Not that I’m complaining, no one likes a stick in the mud detective…By the way, I’ve been meaning to ask, we’re in Japan so…Why are you called the LAPD? It stands for the Los Angeles Police Department.”
(Shuichi/Kyoko) “…”
They both looked at each other, then quickly walking away, and dodging the issue.
(Twogami) “…Guys?…Hello?…T-The door is still locked!”
Post-Case Report:
Byakuya Togami was then called out by most of the school the next day, for being so incredibly fat, and somehow losing it all in one day, and at the same time getting a wardrobe change. When he called Kyoko Phelps and Shuichi Bekowsky into question, both of them responded as if they had never done the case yesterday, making him deal with people’s bullshit for the next week and a half. At the same time, it was noted an alarmingly high amount of people were concerned about Kyoko Phelps messing with people had increased tenfold during this week alone.
- Report given by Traffic Detective Shuichi Bekowsky

So I'm saving the two First Response pregnancy tests I have left for Sunday when it's our official day to test for confirmation, but today and tomorrow, I will using the Pregmate test kits to see where we're at. Reviews arent great for these kits but they're cheaper. Also, these kits are not designed to read low HCG levels before the first day of my missed period, but well here I am, excited as all get out and still not believing what I'm seeing.
The four tests I used look positive, but if i know anything from the ovulation tests that Pregmate provides, the second line can sometimes be there even when I'm not ovulating. Yet the pregnancy test instructions say otherwise - a line is a positive no matter how light. I'm a bit cautious to believe these ones wholeheartedly but they all look positive! They match what the First Response tests said yesterday so my heart is settling into all of this a little bit more and more. Worries of miscarriage are beginning to set in, but I'm taking this one day at a time.
My Google history has switched from asking about the weather or when my Netflix shows will come to, "pregnancy, pregnancy, pregnancy."
Some examples:
-My husband and I had sex last night - celebratory almost, and I spotted a bit afterwards. Clearly I went to Google immediately and things seem normal.
-What do I eat now? Vegetarian here, give me help!
-What should the first few weeks feel like?
-Best pregnancy applications? Which ones suck?
-When to tell everyone?
There are so many intricate questions I've typed into Google that my cache/cookies for ads know I'm possibly pregnant on every social media site. I'm so anxious and it's always on my mind. I cant stop thinking about what to do next and I also cant stop thinking "what if this isnt real?" I'm a realist at heart so part of me is just not buying it. Not until we do the bloodwork and the ultrasound will I believe this and even then, I'm still going to reflect on how this could all be taken away in moments. I've drilled into my brain how impossible this was for nearly 2 years. It's like breaking out of a shell crusted over with concrete. A concrete wall that I requested even though I have dreamed of being a mother for years.
When I was younger I was let down to often by my unreasonably high expectations, so I began practicing the age old manipulation trick of don't have expectations. Yet I'm human! I'm a dreamer...so I'm not perfect with it.
Anyways...this is exciting and it could be real so I'm letting myself live for once in hope. I'm letting myself enjoy this opportunity even though I know the walls could come crumbling down at any point. So I've download a pregnancy app, gotten my box out of baby stuff again and started letting my husband hold my stomach before bed. Sure, I'm getting ahead of myself...but it's nice. I feel freer and lighter.
A word on social media: During my season of primary infertility, I have known numerous ladies who have gotten pregnant, had their child, possibly even gotten pregnant again, and then posted everything on social media. It was painful to watch that. Every time I saw their excitement, I remembered my sadness. I was happy for them. I went to a few baby showers during that time period and I gladly enjoyed the day. Yet, I know the pain of over-posting and over-sharing pictures for those who can't have a child, those who are struggling to get pregnant, those who miscarried...I can feel that pain and I do not wish to inflict anyone I know and love to that kind of continued toxicity.
So while I post on here the nitty gritty details of my infertility and possibly my first pregnancy, no one follows me and I follow no one else. I've never told anyone about this blog and the few that stumble upon it leave pretty quickly. So my excitement, at least in my heart, feels naturally exposed here and openly sincere. On the social media sites where I have family and friends with similar issues as me that I may or may not know about, I do not plan on posting this information publicly. Even pictures of the baby are still up in the air for me...I'm very proud of my family, but I'm also cognizant of my small impact on others. I already don't post much on social media besides my cats so what makes this any different?
I'm struggling with the idea of sharing the good news when it's safer to tell everyone. Those post hurt the most! So when the time is right, my plan is to call everyone who I trust/would lean on and those who would relish in the news. (#coronasafe) Now I can't say who would or would not like to hear this news, but it is my choice and my husband's choice to decide who we tell and who we invite into our family.
I still feel for anyone who reads this blog and is saddened by the news that I might be pregnant. I'm so sorry...please block my account if it is best for you. This is also not to say that anyone who shares pictures of their baby or who talks about their growing family are wrong. This is just my personal plan in how I would like to move forward. There is nothing wrong with sharing your family proudly. Absolutely nothing and you do not need a strangers blessing to share the love you so strongly feel. I'm just openly expressing myself in a bare forum and I am leaving myself open to change.
