Probably already asked before how did you get into cookie run?

I can’t find the original answer for it so I’ll say the abridged version here

back in the day I was super confused by cookie run because I saw fanart and didn’t get what it was. Cookies running?? All I see are cool (humanoid) character designs, where tf is the cookie run part of this??

Then I learned cookie run was a gacha game sometime around the crk BTS update and thought “ew I don’t like gacha”. BUT I did like the character designs, specifically crk’s—and it turned out I had friends who were into cookie run, who posted fanart around the same time so it was on my tumblr dash for me to see?? So then I went “god it’s those freakin cookies again.” And after doing a little peeking into the actual series (mainly crk), I was like “oh ok. hey my oomfies I think this game might trap me in a fixation hole so can you discourage me from playing the game? It is gacha and I don’t want to spend my money.” Oomfies predictably did the opposite.

So then I was like “ok fine I will play cookie run kingdom for like… an hour or two, I will see how bad the pay to win feature affects the playability.” Turns out, for someone like me who’s mainly interested in the main story, not much at all!!! And that was it pretty much, alongside seeing the Ancients. It was not as predatory as I thought it would be, and to this day the game is actually playable without spending money at all. Sure I will be a scrub compared to whales, BUT I am the kind of gamer who’s pretty good at grinding things (thanks guild wars 2 skyscale quest) so I know I can get there with enough work if I choose to or even care to.

Which not really, I don’t care about the pvp and master modes, I just want a banger story and that’s exactly what I got. Crk’s story is very good??????????? (Also the worldbuilding in general)

Which speaking of it really helped that I got into crk just before Beast Yeast started so I had a very juicy story to follow, because if I had joined any earlier (like the BTS update) then I don’t know if I’d have been as into the game as I am. So thank you shadow milk, you were the nail in the coffin

Thinking about fnaf the week before (my copy still hasn't arrived!!!) and the tragedy of the concept.

A choose-your-own-adventure book about a faceless man whose canon fate has already been decided for 10+ years. You know how his story ends from the moment you know his identity, and yet there are still so many different paths that Ralph could have taken, so many different ways things could have played out. It makes him a really interesting and unique fnaf protagonist and I really hope he doesn't get slept on.

I know that there's going to be a series of these CYOA books, but I really enjoy thinking of Ralph as special in that regard. He deserves it! The first fnaf character deserves to have something lore-important going for him. Doomed by the narrative despite being tangled in threads of possibility.

Hunt Athalar x female reader.

Summary: You and Hunt have been dating for a while now. Despite how much you have grown to love him, you refrain from saying anything in fear that he is still in love with Shahar. You realize that this is far from the truth.

A/N: This is a bit of an alternative universe with the reader in Bryce’s place (love Bryce though, so please no attacking me 😂). There’s references to parts of the first and second book. Haven’t read the third book, so please no spoilers. Other than that, hope anyone reading this enjoys it.

“She’s nothing like Shahar.”

Before you could hear more, you quickly walk away from where Hunt stands before he can see you and walk out of the 33rd Legion.

Hunt told you about Shahar.

About how much he loved her. How her death impacted him so much that he hadn’t had a serious relationship in centuries.

Though you were happy that he had trusted you enough to share that with you, you couldn’t help but feel as if you’d never compare to her for she was everything that you weren’t. Strong, brave, beautiful. But more importantly, an angel just like him.

You and Hunt met when he was assigned to guard you after some powerful individuals were out to get you in the hopes of using your power to gain information as you were a dream walker. A rare gift in Lunathion. Yet, it somehow existed in your family line. On your mother’s side to be exact. The last known person exemplifying this ability was your grandmother.

Despite Hunt being a bit standoffish initially, you both eventually grew close to one another as he was staying in your apartment until the bad guys were caught. Anyone with eyes could see the connection between the two of you as you did things together that couples would do. From going eating takeout together to a watching movies together.

However, things changed between the two of you when he came back to your house all beaten and bruised after a night of being sent on a mission to take care of some people. After helping him get cleaned up, you brought him to your room and cuddled. This eventually resulted in him falling asleep in your lap as you raked your fingers through his dark shoulder length hair.

It was at that moment you saw a tormented male trying to survive the horrors of his past. From that day on, you two became a couple. Though, it had to stay low profile until the baddies were caught. Once they were, you and Hunt continued to living together.

You had truly believed that everything between the two of you was going well until you heard that sentence.

You had know idea what hurt more, hearing those words come from Hunt’s mouth or the fact that he was telling his friends and colleagues this.

After dinner, you and Hunt are sitting on the living room couch, watching a movie together. The space between you two is evident.

Since Hunt got home from work, the interactions you’ve had with him brief. Though you try to ignore the words you heard earlier that day, they find way into your mind again.

She’s nothing like Shahar.

You must have been silent for a while because Hunt had turned off the tv and turned, looking straight at you.

“Babe… what’s wrong? You’ve only spoken a few words since I have come home and you’re not cuddling me like usual. Also, we didn’t have lunch together like we usually do every Friday. Is something wrong?”

Instantly, you shake your head.

“Come on (y/n), I know that isn’t true. Please, whatever it is, tell me and we can fix it together.”

Together?

You’d almost fall for his sweet words if you hadn’t heard what he said to Isaiah and Naomi earlier.

“I had gone to your work today to have lunch together when I heard what you said to Isaiah and Naomi.”

The angel’s smile is there only for a few seconds longer as if realizing what you were referring to.

“Baby…what you thought you heard this afternoon, isn’t what you think it is.” He stops to take a breath before continuing. “When you heard me saying that you are nothing like Shahar, I meant it.”

You wince before looking down to hide your tears.

“You are better than Shahar.” The angel pauses before continuing. “Looking back on the time I had with Shahar, I thought I loved her when in actually it was infatuation. From the time you and I have had together, I realized that the the moments I shared with her were ploys for her to gain my affection so that I can play a part in her rebellion all those years ago. Everyone in 33rd can see that.”

Hunt can tell you still look gets onto his knees and hugs you, holding onto your waist.

“I love you so much and I don’t want to taint you. You are literally the epitome of light and goodness while I’m darkness and corruption”, the angel in front of you says tearfully.

You are shocked by those words. He said those three little words that held such impact.

It doesn’t take long for you to take the angel’s chin into your left hand, looking into his dark, tear stained eyes. A contrast from his usual brooding stare.

“The man I love is more than that. An evil man wouldn’t feel guilt or remorse for what he has done. You do. You wipe his tears with your thumbs, kissing where the tear stains for. “Also, you were in a position where you had no choice”, your mind thinking back to the late Sandriel and Micah.

You then get to your knees to be leveled with Hunt, letting your fingers travel through his dark hair as a way to ground him. Though not as long as it used to be, you can’t help touching the remainder of his dark tresses.

Hunt then lets his hands gently touch your cheeks for a few seconds before bringing your face near to his own.

“I’m so lucky to have you as my love and mate.”

“Mate?” you look at him shockingly.

Realizing what he said, Hunt tries to explain.

“Yes, mate. I understand if it’s too soon for you to say but I want you to know that you are my mate… When I’m around you, I feel this need to protect you as well as want to be a better male.”

You smile at him. “I feel it too. Though, I was afraid to say something in fear that it wasn’t reciprocated.”

The two of you then lean into share a passionate kiss, whispering your love and commitment to one another for all eternity.

Here's more of that Sonic fate swap AU of mine. Is swaped Fate au a good abreviation for this? (I really need to come up with a title for this au, yikes)

Nevertheless, since I started things wrong with the villains as an introduction, I'm going to present the main hero: Amy Rose. Amy Rose swapped with Sonic. Now, I know there's a lot of concepts like that with her, but here's my take on it. I've decided to do the character explanation in a way more similar to a fanfiction, I think it makes it more fun to read than just me rambling. And, I think I'm going to write it a little bit as if it was a comic series... you'll see. I hope you'll enjoy this format (if you're even interested) because I think I want to stick with it :

PART 1: Amy Rose

When Amy was a young hedgehog, she was so energetic that her parents bought her a big squeaky hammer so she could have something to spend her energy on, while also allowing them to have a moment of peace from her. Amy really wanted her parents to buy her that hammer, and she ended up loving that hammer to an almost obsessive amount. She practiced several fighting techniques with it to the point that squeaky hammer became more than just a toy. Despite becoming so skilled with the squeaky hammer, she had yet to practice fighting with a real hammer. Nonetheless, fighting and sports became her passion. Once she reached the age of twelve, she became more independent and would explore the hills around her small village by herself.

That was when she encountered her first big conflict she ever needed to face by herself. She found two meanies who were bullying a six years old rabbit girl: Cream. Amy didn't know why they were bullying her, but she fought off the bullies, and Cream is forever thankful for her help. Cream has a creative mind, and she likes to tinker. She has a strong relationship with Chao that help her gather the resources for her art project and also help with the tinkering itself. When she saw Amy fight off the bullies with her toy hammer, she was inspired to build her a better, no, a real one with the help of the Chao. Amy's new hammer was made of wood, painted a pink and yellow, and was far more solid, thus dangerous. Amy and Cream became best friends after this event.

Amy was certain she was going to live the rest of her life in the village she was born in. It wouldn't have minded her if only there were any interesting boys around. It wasn't because she was tomboy-ish that it meant she wasn't interested in finding a lover. She would share her dreams about building a family to Cream, and the two would play house together with the Chao on a daily basis in Cream's secret Chao Garden. Taking care of Cream and the Chao quickly became Amy's favourite thing to do, and the two of them promised to always be there for each other. Cream said she was going to follow Amy wherever she would go. Cream became Amy's little sister at that point, and no one could separate them.

However, one day, the whole world turned around and completely changed the course of Amy's life. On another normal visit to Cream's secret Chao Garden. She noticed Cream at the entrance of it, panicking. The Chao had disappeared, and before she could say more, someone suddenly appeared from seemingly nowhere and kidnapped her. They were swift and fast. But, despite how agile they were, Amy wouldn't back down: her first adventure began here.

But, what or who could be that dark blur that caught Cream?

(Oh gosh, I told myself I wasn't going to do fanfictions on there.... well, each part is planned to be a rather short story without much dialogues, so that's fine.)
