sabine continuing the disaster lineage feels so fitting. she's just as insane, rebellious and with an incredibly questionable morally grey past as her predecessors. war crimes lineage is perfect for her, no wonder she struggled so much when kanan was teaching her, the mace windu lineage doesn't allow insanity like that

It's ironic how Ahsoka was intent on following the no-attachment-rule like,"that shit messed up Anakin, I'm not gonna let that happen to me" kinda thing; and be all "it's better to be alone, nobody can hurt you/you can't hurt anybody" and established the Ahsoka the White/hermit-in-the-woods vibe.
But when Ahsoka and Sabine were in Seatos, they dueled Baylan and Shin respectively. And when Shin returned to the stonehenge like thingy alone, Ahsoka assumed the worst and totally went all Anakin mode on them. She shoved Shin to a monolith hard enough to make her pass out and kicked Baylan in the balls.
Like, You bitches killed my padawan, prepare to die!
I mean if that's not peak disaster lineage energy, I don't know what is. Anakin would be so proud.

Honestly Sabine being Ashoka’s padawan is poetically hilarious.
Because only Ahsoka “I am no Jedi” Tano, padawan of Anakin “Darth Vader Human Disaster” Skywalker, would have a padawan that is not only barely force-sensitive, but a Mandalorian at that.
Like this is peak Disaster Lineage™️ behavior.

Drabble that never made it to To Remember, To Forget
Bright red flickered in the forest. Sol couldn't quite make sense of the scene unfolding before him. Shock clouded his thoughts, paralyzing his body. For a moment—maybe longer—he couldn't breathe. The only thing his mind could grasp was a single, desperate word: No. Over and over, it echoed, drowning out reason.
Pain throbbed in every inch of his body, the toll of battle pressing down on him, but none of it compared to the weight settling in his chest. Faintly, he heard someone screaming as Jecki crumpled to the ground. It wasn’t until the sound wrenched into a broken sob that he realized—it was his voice.
Her name left his lips, a fragile whisper, a plea. His mind begged him to move, to run to her, to reach her before it was too late. But his body refused. He could feel it—her life slipping away, the bond between them fraying, unraveling with every second. He could imagine her warmth fading, her breath stilling. No. He kept repeating the word, like it could somehow undo what had just happened. Tears burned his eyes, his throat tightening with the sobs he barely held back.
And then, with a strength he didn’t know he had left, he tore his gaze away from her lifeless form. He looked up—straight at the monster who had taken her from him.
A shuddering breath rattled through him, but it did nothing to calm the storm inside. Rage swelled, dark and all-consuming, drowning out every lesson, every vow, every Jedi teaching drilled into him since childhood.
The Order had taught him restraint. They had taught him patience, balance, control. But all he saw was red.
He had made a promise when he took Jecki as his Padawan.
He had sworn to protect her.
And he had failed.

The right reasons
The first time she’d truly felt the bond between them had been strange. Ahsoka had told her it was natural, that all masters and padawans shared a connection in the Force. But those first few days had been unsettling—an ever-present awareness of someone else, a quiet hum in the back of her mind that wasn’t entirely her own. Over time, she had grown used to it. In fact, it had proven useful—lately, she and Ahsoka rarely found themselves clashing in opinions. Well, more rarer than usual.
[Collection of oneshots fic. Focusing on Ahsoka and Sabine 'cause I need more of their Master Padawan Bond.]

To Remember, To Forget
Yet, even in the midst of these thoughts, she could almost hear her master’s voice, the calm and resolute tone that used to guide her: “You are not a failure, Osha. The only failure is believing you are one.”
The imagined words stung as much as they comforted.

drabbles that never made it to Safe and Sound
Nobara knew that, despite her sensei being the strongest sorcerer alive, he was bound to have a few scars. After all, it would only prove that he was human. During her time as his student, she had never seen him get seriously injured—or at least, if he ever did, he made sure to hide it well.
Every time a mission went south and she worried that Gojo-sensei might be hurt, he would simply wave her concerns away, claiming everything was fine. Then, without missing a beat, he’d slip back into his usual cocky attitude as though nothing had happened. If things ever did go really bad, the most she’d see from him was an overprotective streak: fussing over his students and hovering like a hawk for the next few days.
It was during those moments that she realized something about him—no matter how invincible he appeared, her sensei was utterly hopeless at taking care of himself.

Kate didn't exactly know the meaning of protected, and feeling safe until she met Clint. Sure her mother protected her well enough after her father died and everything went downhill, but she always had something to take care of. She hired bodyguards and the kind, but she was never always physically there. Nor emotionally if she was being honest.
