GOD. Epilogue of "A Dream a Kirin Dreamed" pisses me off. This is not to say it's bad by any stretch. It just pisses me off because WHY DIDN'T KIRYU BOTHER TO TELL DAIGO ANYTHING. The man just woke up and he's awake for a week before he's discharged from the hospital??? Maybe catch him up to speed on something that's clearly weighing on him??? Or on anything else that's happened in the time he was unconscious ??? Hello???????

Like. Dude. Is it not enough that you're just dead weight for the entire fucking ending. Knowing this is your son's best friend. And no way he doesn't know because even aside from Mine's monologue which (obviously) focused on his perspective, Kiryu says himself when he encounters a journalist who can't find any friends or family to interview about Mine that Daigo would know him best.

KNOWING this is your son's best friend. You LET him kill himself in front of you both because for you, sitting on your ass and going "Mine!" was good enough. You didn't think to reason with him. You didn't think to grab onto his leg or something when he was three feet away. You weren't injured. You weren't THAT exhausted. You just didn't think to do it. Even though A SUBSTORY IN Y3 ENDS THE WAY THE MAIN STORY SHOULD HAVE AND IT'S ONE OF THE LAST THINGS YOU CAN DO BEFORE HEADING TO THE HOSPITAL.

Y3 ending is literally my Y7 ending in terms of how much anger rises up within me whenever I think about it because it just Somehow, To This Day, piles more and more on top that makes it worse than it already was. Like its ONLY saving grace is that Mine didn't actually die. Allegedly. At least you can argue Ichiban and Aoki didn't have time to react, but Kiryu had all the time in the world and did nothing.

2) So.. Eden. We need to talk. I was looking at a DRDT theorist blog I rlly like, @1moreff-creator (GO CHECK OUT THEIR STUFF THEY R SO SMART) and a post stuck out to me,

4) This section is my own theory and lil rant but- HOW THE FUCK DOES WHIT KNOW SM ABT HANGING? IS THERE SOMETHING U WANNA TELL US WHIT??? I made a lil theory that maybe Whit knows sm bc his Mom died from hanging herself. THAT WOULD BE SO FUCKED. Theres not a lot of evidence for it, but maybe thats why he omits the truth sm, maybe he blames himself for his mom's suicide

5) DAVID U CUNT. I genuinely feel like a part of him did care for Arei. Due to the fact that she accepted him of his shitty personality and his reaction in episode 10, I think he did.

When he first saw you, he wasn't sure exactly how alive you were.

I mean, those empty eyes and the way you barely talked to anyone definitely had him raising an eyebrow at first.

But he quickly got used to it. Nothing was wrong with responding to a joke with a tiny smile instead of a hearty laugh.

In fact, with enough time, he grows rather comfortable around that blank stare of yours. He gives you your space, but whenever you do talk to him, he's more than happy to get the chance to hear your voice and chat.

One day, before you went out for a mission, Formaggio noticed you nearly forgot to bring something vital. He managed to catch up to you and give you the item before you left, but before he could say anything, he noticed your expression.

The color spread across your cheeks, and your eyes -Oh god, your EYES. It was like someone finally flipped on a light switch in them. They were full of life for once, and the sight had him speechless.

But- shit, right, you had to leave. With an absent-minded nod and pat on the shoulder, he began to walk away.

"No need to thank me," he shouted to you before he was out of sight - and it was true. The look on your face had been thanks enough.

Illuso

Definitely made fun of your empty eyes often. Like Formaggio he probably compares you to a zombie, but he is willing to say it out loud.

He tries to guess what your thinking and feeling all the time if you tend to not show emotion. Like he'd say things like "I bet you're pissed about that too, you just don't wanna show it."

But like. In an annoying way if that makes sense.

I'll be honest I can't think of what kind of nice thing he would do for you. This dude's section has haunted me for days, y'all.

But in the event of him doing nice for you, he notices your expression right away. boy is he surprised by it. and boy is he LOUD about it.

"Holy SHIT! You're actually alive! I managed to break that moody façade of yours?"

You might wanna walk away or hide your face before he calls the rest of the gang over to look.

Afterwards he's weirdly a bit nicer to you? He obviously wants to see your adorable expression again, but his exact intentions are unknown...

Prosciutto

Doesn't care in much of a usual way. If anything I think he would comment on how your hard to read expressions and closed off nature makes you good for the job.

So he never really bothers to think you may be any other way.

The two of you were set to go on a mission together, and he insisted you work on a concrete plan beforehand. It turns out his idea for the plan relies VERY heavily on your abilities/stand.

When you ask about it, he begins to talk about how strong your abilities are, and how perfect you would be for the job, how he has faith that you can pull it all off.

Your heart flutters at his words and with every compliment you feel heat rush to your face.

When he stops talking and notices how your eyes lit up, he's....genuinely unsure what to think.

It was all true, you were strong and the right person for the job, but we all know how he gets when he's working with someone he feels is a bit too vulnerable cough cough pesci

He doesn't worry about it for the time being - it's a one time thing after all - but he keeps an eye out for if it happens again.

Pesci

I think he is used to people thinking he looks strange/creepy, so even it might creep him out a bit, he tries to be nice about your soulless face.

Gives you your space, but this boy is sweet, it won't take long for him to do something that makes the darkness in your eyes fade away.

idk why my first thought for the moment is him baking something new and asking you to try it. You have a taste and quickly nod in approval, it's delicious.

Relieved, Pesci proceeds to let you know he made it because he remembered you mentioning [insert flavor here] was your favorite flavor. Yep, that'll do it.

He's incredibly caught off guard, seeing your eyes twinkle with appreciation - for a second he thinks you're about to cry! He stands there, unsure what to do, until either the interaction ends or you say something to him.

Is so overwhelmed afterwards no matter what happens - was that really the real you? That sweet face was really yours?

Melone

It literally doesn't matter to him - he can see right through your dead look. It's uncanny.

You could be completely stone-faced and he would find some way to be able to tell exactly how you feel about something. He'll tell you his predictions too to see if their right.

I imagine it's one of these moments that actually leads to him seeing that cute expression of yours.

It started with "you found that hilarious, didn't you?"

He was playing his guessing game again, and like every time before, he was right. You didn't even have to answer.

"You know, you're so interesting to read. You have all these little tells for every small thought, and I think you subconsciously change them a bit every time I take notice of them!" He suddenly began explaining to you.

But it didn't stop there, he began to tell you all about how he picked apart your body language, how he noticed changes in your emotions over the entire time he's known you. "You're.... fascinating to watch."

It's not until he finishes talking that you both realize you've been staring at him with a completely uncharacteristically bright look of wonder. Then it's his turn for his face to light up, pointing at the blush on your cheeks.

"So you do like how I watch you! I knew it."

Ghiaccio

"The hell are you giving me that look for!?"

Of COURSE he takes it personally a lot - especially if you're supposed to be listening to his rambling. He isn't exactly thinking straight, so he just thinks your blank stare is some kind of insult.

But beyond that, it's rare he'll get on your ass about it.

Over time, I think he might even find you a reliable person to spew all his ranting at, if you don't complain at him or cause a fuss.

Maybe even at some point, perhaps if you've been getting picked on especially hard by Illuso, he'll ask if you have any ranting to do.

"What!? That prick has got to be getting on your nerves, doesn't that make you- WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU GIVING ME THAT FACE FOR!?"

You're gonna have to end up explaining yourself or else he won't stop asking you. When you do, he'll scoff, saying he barely did anything. At least you won't have him blabbing about it to the others, you both know it would get real annoying real quick.

If you specifically ask him to keep it secret, he'll nod, and you swear you see him smile at you.

Risotto

This man also looks pretty damn unapproachable (love him tho <3). He has the least amount of problems with how you are.

Like Prosciutto, he thinks your closed off nature is good for the job. But he never brings up that sometimes he wishes you were a little more open.

One day you return from a mission. It went smoothly. Enough. Okay, you had managed to get the deed done, but you had gotten injured in the process. In order to not endure lecturing from any of your teammates, you quickly dismissed everyone's questions about the mission and looked for things to treat your wound with, hiding it from everyone else.

In the middle of hastily wrapping up the bloody injury, you felt a hand on your shoulder, and soon after you head Risotto's voice. He warned you that you weren't treating the wound carefully enough.

He didn't scold you- a scolding wasn't going to help the sting and the crimson staining your skin. No, he asked if he could take care of the wound for you.

You felt your face heat up as he helped you, but although you were sure he noticed the look on your face, he made no mention of it. Just tended to your wound, and told you to tell him about any issues with a mission next time.

Afterwards you two agreed you would give him specifics later. You thanked him and that was that.

Walking away from you, Risotto replayed your expression in his mind....how cute.

Backstory: when I first time knew about the void I was literally afraid cuz thought it’s kinda magic place or close to astral and entities will attack me (it’s so hilarious ik please don’t judge old me ✋🏻😭). But I was looking for more info bout that so now I know what that state is. Anyway I had troubles to enter and idk why I just couldn’t do it.

Yesterday I found your challenge and decided to try it cuz it looks so easy??? like you don’t need to do anything but pretend you already that person who can enter the void with ease. I did it during the whole day and at night just simply went to sleep. I used to try to enter every night before and it was tiring tbh.

I just fell asleep and woke up … nowhere?? Like… idek how to explain it on my language lmao. I felt nothing but calmness and pleasure. I wasn’t sure I’m in the void but I decided to affirm for my desires. And thanks to me for doing this cuz it literally was the void. I understood it when woke up in reality today and I have everything I wanted!!! Please I’m not emotional person but my feelings just tear me up from the inside 😭

Let me tell you what I manifested:

Desired face! I didn’t want to change myself too much so I just made my eyes more like feline (similar to Jennie BP) and I looks more prettier then ever + being photogenic.

Desired body! I lost 20kg and now my weight is 40kg with 165cm of height (was 160). I have a thin hourglass body, long legs and perfect skin everywhere.

Perfect voice! In my childhood I could sing but in my teenage smth happened and I started to sound like old rusty door but worse 💀 I dreamed about beautiful voice a long time and now I have it! I swear I sing the whole day and do it with my friends in out chats.

I’ve done my study at university! It was the most shitty thing in my life and it took all my nervous for nothing. I hated this sm but now I finally free omg. And I have my diploma.

Hey Lovelies. Been a lot of excitement today, certainly a lot going on! Rhys' birthday week, actual footage of something in Lochness, podcasts, billboards and movies, oh my! I know some of us are struggling a bit with some personal stuff, it's a hard time out there. It hits harder too when you get all this fun dopamine from the internet, then you turn around and look back at normal life and things are tough. Remember to be kind to yourself lovelies. Things aren't always going to go the way you plan or want. It's okay if you can't get out of bed today. It's okay if you scroll on your phone and get your dopamine from goofy ass pictures of celebrities. It's okay if you get up and you brush your teeth, but just can't make your breakfast. Eat something simple. Drink some water, lay down for a while. Little things build to big things. If you can't do laundry today because you don't have the spoons/motivation, then don't do laundry today. Just remember to change your underwear if you have some clean ones cause you don't wanna get a UTI. If all you can do today is exist, you're doing great. You're doing better than great, you're fantastic. Tomorrow you can do a little bit more, or a little less, depending on what you need. Just be kind to yourself and give yourself grace; the world is hard enough as it is, you don't need to beat yourself up for struggling with very real issues. Thank you all for making the past few weeks tolerable, I appreciate that so much. It's keeping my brain chemistry in a spot that's healthier than is used to be. I hope you all know just how wonderful you truly are, and that me and the rest of the crew are rooting for you every day. We're here, we love you <3 Stay well.

The energy between you and your best friend had changed in the past week. What was once bubbly and fun, now seemed tense and awkward.

It started a week earlier at a friends party, you and Yeosang were chosen for seven minutes in heaven.

Most of the game was spent chatting and laughing as you waited for time to pass.

“What if we kiss?” You had drunkenly blurted out.

It was less than a minute of kissing, but it left you craving more.

Your roommates had taken over the living room, having their own little girls night. So when Yeosang arrived, you headed to your room for your weekly movie.

I forgot that the book takes place in 1899 for some reason, but regardless I'm very eager to see how that's handled (since I read it when I was much younger, I doubt I would have picked up on that). but I mean that's just fascinating given the history of the civil war (Cornelius Vanderbilt was a union man--not in it himself, but donated a giant steamship worth about 1 million USD). Also fun fact: George Vanderbilt paid his staff New York wages, which were higher than Asheville wages-- up to the equivalent of $73-ish dollars for the highest working members.

[i-need-some-advice-on]

I need some advice to why im feeling upset over being confused for a specific thing.

Sorry for it being so long i just dont know how much info is needed for ppl to give me advice.

I work for a company, we are almost 100 employees so its not a mega corporation. Located in western europe. I really like my job.

Today we had a special day where we got to brainstorm ideas and showcase fun things for everyone etc. usually during these special days we are sorted into groups where we sit and discuss how to improve teamwork and communication etc, its usually the last thing in the agenda before AW.

So i sit among my colleagues chatting and one of the managers walks up to us and asks for a person from each department to form groups. So i assumed we we’re gonna do the same old discussion thing as always and joined a group.

There was no clear info on what we were gonna talk about. Or i mightve been the only one who missed that, because everyone started discussing jira tasks and asked me questions on what QA should know when it cames to bug testing graphics. And since I wasn’t prepared for the topic i didnt have a clear answer. But it was all in all a good discussion that we had for like an hour or so.

I get back to my desk in my department and asks the other artists what they discussed during their group meeting. And they looked at me confused going “we had no discussion group. We have all been working here the past hour.”

They had no idea about the meeting i just had. And i somehow felt very uncomfortable and confused and overall not happy all of a sudden. My manager had already left so i couldnt bring it up with him. I plan to do so on monday.

Thing is… i feel pretty upset? I even cried a little bit on the train home. I thought i was following our schedule but apparently i spent that hour on smth else. Why do i feel so bad about it?? Technically nothing bad happened and we had a good discussion. But i couldnt enjoy the AW and left early. And now i sit here with a big lump in my throat and i just dont know why.

Idk if its any good extra context but i have ADHD and it sometimes makes me miss out on details during meetings etc, and when they asked us to form groups there was a lot of talking from all directions so i def didnt hear everything they said. I also have experienced a panic attack that was triggered by work related things caused by lack of clear understanding of my work hours. But that stuff was months ago and i have recovered really well mentally, HR helped me get in touch with a good psychologist. Again i wanna emphasize that, compared to other work places, i love my job and i do feel happy working here. But idk maybe theres a connection between my past anxiety and the emotional confusion i now feel about being told to go to a meeting that wasnt on my schedule. And everyone else werent informed about it.

george is like, a real proper vampire. going to the monthly meetings, signed up to the local blood donation facilities, and a sire family that goes back into the centuries kind of proper vampire. he's young in vampire terms (like, a century) compared to lewis for instance or toto who goes WAY back (he hasn't said specifically but they all think original romanian transylvania. that would explain why he cant get rid of the accent)

alex is new. like, last week new. he was turned accidentally, george thinks, at least from what he told him over a pint. he'd been making out with this guy at a club, very normal (he stresses this) when they went into an alleyway outside (alex says this very normally and calmly, like this is something he does all the time. George is not homophobic, but he is just a bit of a prude still and he also tries to be normal. fails!) and then what was a harmless bit of necking turned into alex getting his blood sucked out of him. in his haze, he does remember hearing the other guy panicking, then being forced to drink something that was gross and delicious all at the same time. then, the next day, he got picked up by the magic part of the police dept. because the guys at the pub didn't really like having a half dead body on the ground outside.

they try and figure out who turned him, but can't work it out beyond alex's grand sire DEFINITELY being red bull affiliated. (the vampires have like. idk. family clan loyalties) but the mercedes lot are who he gets referred to first just because red bull can be a bit. tougher to work with, and Toto's got a finger in every pie. while they're doing this, alex is like dragging george kicking and screaming into the 21st century.

"you're not joking around with me right now." alex is looking at him, eyebrows raised. His glass is raised halfway to his mouth. the condensation from the beer is leaking onto his hand and pooling around his fingers. "what? no why?" george genuinely looks baffled, as if he hasn't just said the most insane sentence alex has ever heard. "you're saying-" alex puts down the glass, his hands on the table. he needs to stress every word, "-you're actually saying that you had a chat with anne boleyn before she had her head cut off and offered to make her a vampire." "well," george looks a bit embarassed now. he starts adjusting his cufflinks, probably to try and look cool and collected and aloof. alex has seen him do it about 50 times every time they've met up now though, so it has lost its original charm. "-i mean, yes, i was there, and i thought she might like a bit of help. it was rather a sticky situation you know, a lot of emotions running high." "and she said no?" he can't imagine george, posh george in the armani sweater, wearing ray bans sunglasses who's practically addicted to having a cuppa of tea in the morning as living in the middle ages. "it wasn't really her thing mate," george shrugs, "bit torn up still about the whole thing if im honest. always thought henry the 8th was naff after that."

alex is flatting with charles also, who is in my mind a cursebreaker sorry @tetrapod7 stealing ur scholarship.... blatant theft, anyway he comes back after Vampire Orientation (this is like a week of being at totos creepy mansion that he does vampire business in and basically being taught how to be normal and signing a bunch of forms declaring himself to the govt) and charles is all, alexander I thought you were dead, like really, dead, and you come back looking fine?! except he takes a closer look and then is like ahh. i was not far off mate, you are looking good but you are definitely dead. and alex is like yeah they had to teach me all the vampire skills. and charles is like well are you good at being a vampire now? and alex is like "um, well, probably going to have to get better really fast but I definitely won't kill people. By the way, do you think its semi-incestuous if you fuck another vampire who you're maybe like, sharing a grand-sire with. i don't really understand if its capital F family that they were going on about, or just like." waves his hands "metaphorical brothers in arms." (at this point he doesn't know who his grand sire is. so theres a conflict. BUT IT IS NOT. INCESTUOUS. but its funny!?)

bonus: the first time they have sex alex like tries to go down on george but he doesnt realise he's hungry (my lore ur teeth are like. retractable. he doesn't realise they come out spiky when ur a bit peckish) and george yelps and is like "teeth! teeth teeth teeth." and alex is like ooh fuck whoops sorry. and they have a snack break
