Y'know what! Fira has inspired me so I'm gonna talk about my second-favorite Dragon Slayer headcanon, and it goes as such:

The more stress a Dragon Slayer's body goes through, the more it dragonizes. This is a really dry way to say that I think injuries a Dragon Slayer gets will scar over with scales, and also that mental stress can have consequences that are…interesting, to say the least, from a writer's perspective.

Let me bring in my favorite punching bag, Gajeel. In my headcanon appearance for him, the scars on his right arm are replaced by patches of iron scales—rusting iron scales, depending on how old those scars are, because I think rust would be really cool and mimic how human scars fade from age, and ruddy rust blends better with human skintones than silvery iron. But I also really like the idea of him having iron spines all the way down his back, for the aesthetic. Which could have the Watsonian explanation of him potentially being so distrusting of anybody to guard him in the past, that his magic responded to his paranoia and trauma by protecting his spine from a literal backstabber. Two headcanons all wrapped up in a neat 'what if dragonization responded to human fragility by dragonizing it away' bow! :D

ok but you know what i need? i need buck to get hurt enough that he has to stay at the hospital for a bit. like enough that he's hooked up to a machine there. and i need a scene where eddie and tommy both enter the hospital room at the same time to check on him after a bit when he's mostly recovered. and i need the machine to immediately start going crazy making it clear his heart rate is elevated all of a sudden. but its buck's boyfriend visiting him so of course his heartbeat would start accellerating right? right. except that i need buck to look absolutely horrified. cause he knows it wasn't tommy that his eyes landed on when they came in

you know i do wonder how many sonic characters actually have living parents. like knuckles is the last of his kind so obviously his parents arent around anymore. both guys who could be considered shadows dads are 100 percent confirmed dead. sonic is canonically an orphan im pretty sure. and on the other side of the coin cream is like the only character in the game cast who has a living parent we actually see onscreen. but what about everyone else i dont think theres a straight answer for any other character. other than rouge's mom being mentioned a couple times i Guess but we dont even know anything about her or if shes still alive just that she existed at some point. are these kids constantly putting themselves in danger because they dont have parents around to stop them or because their parents just dont care

I’m just hoping people won’t ruin Buddie for me by slapping on BuckTommy. Cause we still have so many great Buddie moments besides other beautiful storylines. Yes i’m a buddie shipper and a great fan of BuckTommy and i’m just enjoying both. The Buddie and the BuckTommy moments, but making all the BuckTommy moments be about Buddie is starting to annoy me.

(also, i have a character in my mind too; she is named 'Lola' and is a waitress at a cafe, and is a white bunny born mute and with no mouth but can control light like Macaque can control shadows, and Lola thinks Macaque is really super duper cool so she peeks out the window to see him so she can try to befriend him with giving him flowers and seeing him smile! she is shy so she only peeks a little, but, she is really sweet, so i hope Macaque gets to meet Lola (i want him to have someone sweet in his life, he seems like he deserves it, and very sorry if i come off as weird) )

Okay, so I’ve read the translated interview with the voice actors for Kazu and Rei (which you can find here, thank you, OP, for the translation!) and I’m legit scared??

I’m legit scared that we’re going to get a bad ending on this show??

I’m like doomsday thinking about the ending and I think we’ve all thought about the possibility of either Rei or Kazuki dying and the other one staying behind with Miri or even both of them dying and Kyu-chan taking care of Miri or idk what other possible bad endings have been theorized.

But now I’m like... What if they all live... But don’t stay together??? 

What if Kazuki and Rei decide that, seeing the situation with the Organization, it’s safer to bring Miri back to Misaki, who somehow decides to give motherhood a second chance?

And what if, because of whatever reasons, Kazuki and Rei stop being partners? I don’t know what would happen between them to cause this, maybe it’s to keep each other safe or idk, but... Can you imagine them going their separate ways??

Kazuki would lose the happiness that he created with Rei and Miri. The happiness he thought he didn’t deserve after Yuzuko’s death, the happiness he didn’t allow himself to feel for five years! I’m not completely sure how it would impact him, but seeing his past of self-blame and gambling and what not, I can’t imagine it being good... 

And Rei, having lost both Miri and Kazuki, aka the reason he has something worth protecting, the reason he wants to change!, to become better... With nothing left to lose after losing his little family, what if he ends up becoming the person his father wants him to be? The heir to the Suwa family. The person he’s trying so hard not to be.

I don’t know, I’m really just in my head because the VAs said that they didn’t see the ending coming and the thought of Kazuki, Rei and Miri all alive and well, but not together (and maybe separated forever), feels so much worse to me personally than either Rei or Kazu dying and the other being left to raise Miri. The thought of all of them living their lives with memories of being happy and feeling secure and safe and cared about and loved by their own family that they fought so hard for, only to have that security and love taken away from them...

Just... Please give us a good ending!!

weird how things work like today i decided to read some buddie fic out of the blue after months without reading any and i was shocked to discover some recent ones that portrayed tommy like he was a horrible person + old for buck (?) + cruel. and then i come on here because i see that’s peter krause’s birthday and i feel the itch to only to discover that there’s been an infestation on 991blr worse than a rat plague. what the actual fuck
