do you think it made it easier of harder, during the scourging, that He knew all of the soldiers' names? that He knew what their smiles looked like as they lost their baby teeth and their favourite comfort meal, their little idiosyncrasies and fears? did it ease or increase the pain to remember the pains they'd been through and the ways He knew they'd been wounded? did the evil one whisper that He'd failed them somehow, to allow them to come to this?

I've realised something and I have to share it. You came immediately to my mind. (Excuse my English already).
While I was praying the sorrowful mysteries of the rosary, I've come to realisation: it's literally a description, step by step, how to handle our sins and follow Jesus!
1) Jesus crying in Agony: Literally what we do in fear or big regret. Like Peter started weeping. But Jesus starts praying instead of total despair. Total opposite to Judas, who killed himself because he despaired.
2) Scouring at the pillar: What the Devil does after we commit our sins. He makes sure we feel all alone, all hurt and hurts us even more. But Jesus, without sin, endures all the sufferings we Sinners have to go through and sets an example. He shows how not to despair.
3) Crowning with thorns: How we crown ourselves with our sins. How Satan keeps reminding us of our thorns. But Jesus again, let's the thorns bloom. He wore it for us, like he let's everyone of us bloom, when we (the thorns)turn to him.
4) Carrying of the Cross: I mean, he said we should take upon our crosses and follow him. He's the only way. He's the role model.
5) Cruxifixtion: Rather than dodging our crosses we shall embrace it like our saviour did. Big thing is to never despair, always following our Lord.
I know, its much, but I never realised. Really amazing, how our Lord who is without sin, went through all our miseries as sinners to save us. That is trully Love.
Awwww you thought of me? (You’re English is awesome by the way, I understand your words typed here %100!) Wow that is such an amazing insight for the Sorrowful Mysteries that God gave you! Thank you so much for sharing this with me. I used to dread praying the Sorrowful Mysteries a few years ago because each time I get so deep into it I would cry my eyes out for Jesus. This is something I want to try and focus on next time I pray it. You know how a diamond how many sides? I think this is one of those but for the Sorrowful Mysteries.

悲伤不是三言两语就能感同身受 眼泪没有声音但我想抱紧你 你是重要的存在,是某人的星星 当你孤身独行,当你说被爱不过是侥幸 孩子请你别忘记曾有温柔的声音呼唤你的姓名 你问我路会通往哪里,路通往我等你 sadness can’t be empathised with just a few words tears are silent but I want to hug you tightly you are an important existence, you are someone’s star when you are alone, when you say being loved is merely good luck child, don’t you forget a gentle voice once called your name you asked me where the road will lead to, the road will lead to me waiting for you
