Got some time at my hands, so I did an armor- and weapon-design for my Baldurs Gate 3 storm-sorcadin, loosely based on the jolty vest. Customized it to fit the specific class combination, emphazising the sorcerer aspekt while also saying heavy/agile armor.

I am convinced Sorcadin is broken. The damage numbers are INSANE. This is likely my favourite paladin multiclass thus far for the number of spellslots and damage omg.

Currently lvl 10 playing Shadowcute origin. Split is 6 Paladin / 6 Sorc eventually.

Paladin: Oath of Vengeance (personally, Vow of Emnity and Misty Step is super goated)

Sorcerer: Draconic Bloodline, White (Armour of Agathys)

Damage numbers in the combat log below are influenced by:

- Halberd of Vigilance (1d4 force damage)

- Drakethroat Glaive (1d4 thunder damage applied)

- Perilous Stakes (Vulnerability to all damage -> 2x damage from sources)

- Phalar Aluve (1d4 thunder damage)

- Great weapon master feat (+10 to damage, -5 to attack roll, but I offset with this 20 STR which is a +5)

- Savage Attacker (Reroll all damage die)

Myrkul in Tactician got melted from 200+ HP basically :-)

^swapped out gloves so i have 1d4 fire damage in above ss.

i am not even lying about the spoiler tag on this one so be warned for act 2 and slight durge spoilers below. but i am talking about Nyris and his multiclass to paladin

so.

you were hunting ketheric thorm, and decided to take a long rest before following him down to, quite literally, the belly of the beast. what happened that night? well, your trusty butler Sceleritas Fel shows up to remind you:

hey! you're going to kill your lover tonight.

thankfully you think quickly, rouse him, and between his faith in you and your sheer force of will, it's a bloodless affair. but where does that leave you? feeling alone, isolated, afraid? the others are there for you, but they may not understand. in the same vein: empowered. you can curb your urges, despite what any outside force may be trying to think.

still, though, where does that leave you. it's evident the gods don't love you. not enough to save you; look at shadowheart and gale. look at astarion. it's just as likely the gods have looked upon you and turned their face away in shame.

still, though, everything is coming to a head. you are an arrow, a sword-edge headed right for baldur's gate as soon as you strike down ketheric in your wake. so you pray. and you're not sure who you're praying to because, again, who's listening? that doesn't matter, what matters is this: you are swearing an oath, upon everything you are, everything you've learned, and everything to come, that the people and gods responsible for letting this all come to pass will face justice. vengeance. this isn't hate, nor spite, this is cold relief. it will come. they have to face it. the gods have to be watching, because you have to hold them accountable.

and when the night is done and your oath is sworn, you swear you can feel an inkling of divine power spreading in your blood, beneath your fingertips. someone was listening. someone was watching. someone will hold you to your oath. but who?

Menrire Catha is part of a noble lineage blessed by the goddess Selune. She strives to protect those under her and respects them for their honest work. For this, the lower class loves her for treating them as people and not as things to stomp all over. She is now on a long journey to become stronger, preach the word of her goddess, and maybe even visit a certain musical harengon on the way.

So I had this one character for a run of Decent Into Avernus. Long story short, he had broken & set the damage record for the campaign several times. He was built like a Dark Souls boss for *plot reasons*, those plot reasons being that he was going to turn against the party at some point. That fight is happening rn and OH BOY, I am giggling so hard rn. I love the carnage.
