The thing that irks me is that Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner’s divorce is that it’s charting into very serious territory and Swifties are still trying g to make it about Taylor and how Taylor was wanting people how bad Joe was and I’m over here like…I could give less of a shit about Joe Jones and how he broke up with Taylor Swift in a 23 second phone call, these two situations are not remotely the same. Joe and Sophie are in a very serious divorce which is escalating to a very nasty custody battle because Joe wants his daughters in the states and Sophie wants them in the UK. And even if the courts favored joint custody between the two, it would be very hard for their to children to acclimate between both school systems especially if the curriculums are vastly different. Not to mention he’s filing in Florida which is a huge red flag to me because of how Florida is declining as a state especially when it comes to education and the quality of living and it rubs me the wrong way that he files in a state that is very anti women. This is a serious issue and it should be treated as such.

allegedly they owned a house together in florida which they sold very recently so that's why he filed there, but he's an evangelical so him filing in florida makes sense anyway. literally no one is taking this whole situation seriously and it's just being treated like a tv show drama between fake people, when these people and their kids are very real and none of this is "winning". there's nothing to be won in pap walks to "get back" at the other person or spreading rumors through tmz that one of them "likes to party". but all anyone cares about is taylor and her ancient relationship with joe, and turning it into some "team x" vs "team y" social media campaign.

TMZ saying all these alleged reasons for Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas makes me wonder if that info is actually coming from one of their teams. I’ve seen a lot of people on Twitter (or X, idk what to call it) that after Britney no one should take TMZ as a reliable source but then others say that it is one of the most used sites by celebs along with People Magazine

TMZ often gets fed info and narratives directly by PR teams (that especially shows in their convenience in finding people for pap walks). So, if you feel like they may be getting a narrative weighted to one side over the other, then that may point to which PR team is using them as an outlet to get their preferred message out. Just remember to view all gossip outlets with some doubt, as they're all there to get your views and clicks to make revenue.

They took a break and he tried distancing himself from Disney with a new band “DNCE”, but they weren’t finding success. So he went back to his brothers and the band is back together, but they ended up being nothing more than nostalgia bait for millennials in their 30s.

All the while Sophie Turner was growing under HBO’s most successful show since The Sopranos. Her audience was mostly adults so she didn’t have Disney baggage that would stop her from being taken seriously, she was an Emmy nominated actress whose ending most fans agree was the only good thing about S8.
