Just rewatched Gravity Falls (again lol), and a decade later I STILL can't get over Soos in this scene. Shit makes me so emotional. Rambling under the cut lol.

This man, who hasn't seen his father in so long that he can't even remember what he looks like, doesn't even HESITATE to subdue Stan, the man who has been his father figure for years. Doesn't hesitate to put himself at risk by jumping into the portal's pull (and drops an absolutely epic line) because his biggest worry is Dipper and Mabel. Idk man, I feel like Soos is really under-appreciated, especially in this scene.

How about Ford hijacking Stan’s roadtrip plans in an attempt to bond with his baby brother? Ford is really trying, but Stan thinks he just doesn’t trust him to look after the kids. Or to drive. Which is ironic, considering Ford hasn’t driven anything like a car since Steve ate his car when he first moved to GF.

They just look like your typical family on vacation with the dad trying to bond with his moody teenager.

Another weird GF dream 🤷‍♀️

So this dream was like a Total Drama AU. Bill was Chris and he brought everyone to this secluded island called Gravity Falls from a blue ferry. The contestants were Mabel, Dipper, Teen Stan and Ford, Wendy, Teen Soos, Robbie, Pacifica, Candy, and Grenda. It was kind of a mix between Total Drama and Squid Game. There was a lot of drama and fights going on, and Bill was manipulating EVERYTHING. He ends up being “redeemed” in the end though because Mabel learns about his past and offers to take him back home to California. He accepts, and all is well (but they still threw him into the ocean like in TD).

Also there was a lot of weird Dipper slander, idk why. I clearly remember this one line that said: “Why does your heart still beat?” Like DAMN Bill leave the kid alone 😭 (It wasn’t even said in like a curious manner, it was literally aggressively annoyed.)
