while the sakurai-mason family is extremely messy, they’re all very caring people we don’t talk about kaede and they’re pretty well off, so susumu and amelia have a kind of open door policy for their children and their friends

while neither of the parents are home too much, when they do have the pleasure of meeting the kids’ friends and classmates, they make a point to tell them this. it’s one thing for navi to tell someone that her parents won’t mind if they want to hold an impromptu study session at her place, but it’s another thing for amelia to properly introduce herself to these kids and let them know that if they need anything they are always welcome.

some kids will appreciate the sentiment, but never take them up on this. of course navi involves herself with the raira trio and to some extent izaya, and kaede and claire in various gangs...

Natasha sitting in front of a camera crew: How was my summer?  Well, with Bruce and Clint gone, and Thor going back to wherever the hell, it was pretty quiet. And Tony rarely showed up so, thankfully there wasn’t any drama.  What else… Oh, I uh— helped Steve train the new guys.  

Camera man:  How did that go?

*Natasha gives a blank stare*

*Cut to Sam dressed as Falcon trying to put moves on Natasha.  She looks bored while Steve is guiding Wanda in the background. Accidentally, Wanda loses control and makes the light bulbs hanging above Natasha and Sam shatter *

*Natasha turns her head toward the nearest camera, it zooms into her irritated stare*

Steve sitting in front of a camera crew: It went pretty well. Considering.  Wanda’s such a powerful new member of the team.  We’re lucky to have her.

Wanda:  I destroyed a lot of property.

Sam:  I had a great time.  Great summer.  Why did Nat say somethin?  She did, didn’t she?  What did she say??

Rhodey:  I was in and out.  Mostly out.  Probably should’ve done more to help out, but, I went to Puerto Rico.  

Steve: He was in Puerto Rico??

Vision: I’m functing quite well, thank you. As far as missing Mr. Stark?  Well, there is no such thing because he checks in with me.  Constantly. One would argue and say that he misses me.

*Cut to a cell phone sitting on a chair being filmed by the camera crew*

Tony’s voice:  He said that?  God.  Kids.  They sure do grow up fast and ungrateful, don’t they?  Where is he?  Is he there?

*Camera pans over to Vision standing in the corner of the room, he eyes the camera and shakes his head*

Tony’s voice off screen: Vision.

And Darcy’s gang had a few RIVALS that owned this trailer park. “Wouldn’t want you...” She trailed off. WHY WOULDN’T SHE? God, how the fuck had Helena made her CARE? She supposed INTENSITY was everything. “Speaking a’sharing. Don’t suppose you got a CIGGY?”
