i agree w all of your r*nance thoughts. i also think a big issue for them would be nancy never being robin's Person bc of steve; i do not think that's something nancy could stomach. tho at this point, even if i had liked it originally, i would despise it bc of how often ppl have robin or nancy or both do absolutely sick and twisted things to steve. like the amount of fics where robin doesn't tell steve/actively lies to him about it for extended periods of time then he just has to be okay w it or they have robin just start putting nancy above steve in every aspect of life is ridiculous. then there's the really bad ones, like the fic i saw where the entire premise is r*nance fucking in steve's bed w/o his knowledge (and robin specifically doesn't feel bad at all which ???? like they have nancy feel bad but not robin? i will never understand) or the ficlet i saw where robin asks steve for sex advice then either 1) tells him it's nancy and he makes the advice specific (wtf) or 2) doesn't tell him but he figures it out later bc nancy thanks him since she realized the advice came from him (demonic). like what the actual fuck. sorry i had to complain about the things i've been forced to see against my will by tumblr.

(the exception being if that person didn't want to come out, like I could see Steve telling Robin he kissed a guy or had a boyfriend but not saying who because the bf wasn't ready for other people/people he didn't know well to know? but robin would still know he had a bf and details about what they do, just not personal details.)

I find it actually laughable that people would consider Robin would put some romantic interest above her most specialest boy in the whole wide world. Like. She was obsessed with him when she held her tammy and bagel crumb grudge and hated him! Now she loves him? Do people thing she isn't obsessed with him now?? Absolutely not she's worse and she steals his shirts to prove it.

Which I agree with you. Nancy obviously wants to be her romantic partner's priority and number 1. Jonathan's priority is his family and we saw in both s3 and s4 that this causes strain in their relationship! To the point they kinda break up in s3 about it! Robin and Steve both can no longer give that to their partners, because they have each other, scoops troop, and, by extension, the Party. Which is wild because s2 Nancy was Steve's priority.

idk whyyy people have Robin be mean to Steve :( stopppp that's her special little guy. her sweet cheese. her rotten soldier. She might say or do something that hurts him but she would try to apologize as soon as she realizes!! Just like he would for her! I think it might come from people still prioritizing romo ships over platonic ones and trying to have those be the most important and special and deep relationship the characters have.

I think some are trying to acknowledge past st4ncy, but neglect all the hurt that happened at the end of that relationship, and that for the characters, in s4, Steve and Nancy broke up less than a year and a half ago! very messily and hurtfully! (once again, regardless of whether or not steve knows Nancy cheated) that is so short between the end of the relationship to be hooking up with your best friend's ex! that he has expressed romantic feelings for recently! or trying to emphasize robin and steve's weird little qpr comfortable in one another's space and oversharing relationship but missing the mark. like. it's one thing to sleep in a friend's bed with a different friend. it another to have sex in a friend's guest bedroom. it's another level to have sex in your friends bed? that's bonkers.wild.

I do think it'd be funny for Steve and Robin to exchange sex tips/stories but the first time i think Robin asks and Steve just blanks and goes "cut your nails. watch your teeth." which like. yeah. Robin figured. They're weirdos who live inside each other's pockets and brains but they probably do have some levels of comfort to work up to (they've been friends for less than a year! even if it feels like they've known each other forever)

(also. there is a weird thing sometimes where Nancy is closer to Steve/cares more openly about him than she would. I think it might be a bit of a backlash to people pointing out that she cheated on him in s2 and then seemed to not talk to him at all between then and s3 and again between s3 and s4? hmm...)

Jokes aside, and moving forward with the plot: I’m guessing from here on Yuuji may eventually ingest Sukuna’s last five fingers, and if he and Maki can figure out a way to trap the bulk of Sukuna’s soul into... idk, one of Megumi’s finger (the right index finger with the small cut we saw before, perhaps?), or Maki can somehow sever that part of Sukuna’s soul from Megumi body using her Split Soul katana, allowing Yuuji to ingest it so that he can fully cage Sukuna back within him again… it's a possibility.

Since Angel and Hana are still (thankfully) alive and seems willing to help, Gojou may also be freed from Prison Realm soon enough down the road.

Abruptly, a few more pieces click into place—B’Elanna wasn’t the only one left inside as the core containment failed. And Seven had been saying something about there being no other option left while she was using a console. The realization hits her like a photon torpedo. “Wait here one second,” B’Elanna tells Harry, squeezing his right forearm lightly. “I think I’m going to find out soon.” She marches across the room, intersecting Seven’s trajectory near the opposite side of the core. B’Elanna faces her and she is suddenly, irrationally certain that Seven, too, remembers. There is no trace of confusion in her cool demeanor. “What the fuck,” B’Elanna hisses, “did you do to the warp core?”

It did make me feel sickos dot jpeg while writing it but I have another scene from this fic that I think made feel like that even more, it's another pivotal moment... I really do need to finish this fic so I can finally share it!!

Flynn’s Aunt Michelle lives a car ride away, but sometimes Flynn likes to pretend the house next door is hers because they both have bumblebee mailboxes.

The neighbor’s bumblebee mailbox is situated so that Flynn can just see it if she stands on top of her bed on her tiptoes, so that’s what she’s doing now, hands braced on the windowsill so she can press her nose up against the glass.

“You know he doesn’t actually live there, right?” Julie says from behind her, sitting on the floor amidst their combined Barbie collections.

Flynn pouts. “I know. I’m just pretending. You think he barks at the mailman?”

“I think that’s probably a mean question,” Julie muses. “Your mom said he’s more a person than a dog, remember?”

“Right, right.” Flynn does remember that, now that Julie said it. It was the first thing her mom said, actually, when she gave Flynn and her siblings the “your new cousin’s a werewolf” talk.

“So when do I get to meet him?” she asks later that night, once Julie’s gone home and Flynn’s helping her mom clean up from dinner.

Her mom hands her the next plate to dry. “Meet who?”

“My cousin,” Flynn says, like it’s obvious.

“Oh, Reggie?”

“Reggie,” Flynn repeats, feeling the name around in her mouth. She decides she likes it and bounces on her toes a little, balanced on the kitchen stool so she can reach the sink. “Reggie the werewolf.”

“Hey there,” her mom cautions. “Remember what we talked about? We’re gonna treat Reggie like he’s just a regular kid, okay?”

Flynn resists the urge to roll her eyes. “Okay, Mama. So When do I get to meet him?”

She chuckles a little. “Soon enough,” she promises. “He’s still getting settled at Aunt Michelle’s, but you’ll meet him plenty soon.”

“Okay.” Flynn tries not to sound too disappointed, because whining is rude.

They finish the dishes in relative silence, and then just as Flynn’s about to run off to play, her mom says, “Tell you what. Why don’t you make Reggie a card?”

Flynn tilts her head. “Like a birthday card?”

“More like a welcome card. Draw him some nice pictures, tell him how excited you are to have him in the family. I can bring it over to Aunty’s on my way to work tomorrow.”

Flynn thinks about it. A welcome card… She can do that! “Okay! Good idea, Mom!”

So that night, she writes Reggie a welcome card.

Dear Reggie, it says.

My name’s Flynn. I’m your cousin! Welcome to our family. You’re gonna really like it here. We’re pretty awesome. I hope I get to meet you soon! Maybe you can come over and play Barbies with me and my friend Julie sometimes. You can be all the Kens.

Love, Flynn!

At the bottom of the page, she draws a big bumblebee. That way, if Reggie is scared of the mailman, he can get used to the bumblebee on the mailbox and maybe not be so scared anymore.

And someday soon, he’ll come over to her house, and they can look at the neighbors’ bumblebee mailbox together.

Disrupt Project Week 2-

Playing around with Adobe Photoshop:

As the week went on I found myself just playing with different tools on photoshop and how I could get them to interfere and disrupt the already disrupting signs and lights.

I kind of let loose with the magnet selector tool and ended up accidentally selecting a lot of odd, random areas in the jpeg of this stop sign.

Personally I think once I stopped caring about a finished end result looking perfect I got loads of better outcomes from a technique that caused less hassle and stress.

I did this quick abstract take on a traffic light just as an exercise to test out colours I might want to work with more soon.

My favourite piece from this was this rainbow coloured sign where I cut out the trees and the letters in the background and used the calligraphy tool to make these curved dotted lines that almost resemble electricity wires wrapped around it.

I wanted to show how although you can add as many various backgrounds and foregrounds these striking signs will never be fully disrupted you can try but in my opinion I think they’re too powerful to disrupt themselves in their pure form.
